犬に対する有効なドパミンの投与方法を確立するため、ドパミンが循環動態に及ぼす影響を検討した。各投与量(3、10、20μg/kg/min)のドパミンを麻酔下の健常雑種犬に持続点滴投与し、カラードマイクロソフェア法による各種臓器血流量の測定を行った。その結果、ドパミンの効果は、特異的ドパミン受容体やα、βアドレナリン受容体への作用以外に、生体の血流量調節機能にも影響をうけることが示唆された。脳では各受容体への作用が弱く、自己調節機能によって血流量が維持されていると考えられた。心臓血流量は心拍出量に対応した変化を示した。ドパミンが高用量投与になるほど、心拍出量と心拍数の増加が認められたことから、心臓に対する負荷の増大を考慮する必要があった。消化管(胃や腸)における血流量の変化からは、ドパミンの効果で増加した血液が、時間経過とともに、要求部位へ移動することが示唆された。ドパミンが高用量投与になるほど、各種臓器にαアドレナリン受容体刺激作用による影響が認められた。しかし、本実験では、10μg/kg/min投与群で、心臓と腎臓の十分な血流量増加が認められたことから、犬に対するドパミンの適応範囲拡大が示唆された。

本研究は、法社会学・法史学・犯罪学専攻の研究者の学際的・総合的な共同研究を通じて、19世紀から現代に至るヨーロッパ各国の司法統計(裁判所組織統計・訴訟統計・犯罪統計等)の歴史的・内容的変遷を詳細に明らかにするものである。研究成果として、ヨーロッパの司法統計の歴史的発展および内容を包括的に明らかにした研究書としては日本で最初のものとなる『ヨーロッパの司法統計I:フランス・イギリス』および『ヨーロッパの司法統計II:ドイツ・イタリア・日本』を刊行した。

Text classification results often vary depending on the detailed factors in data analysis, including feature data, classification method, and parameter sets adopted in the analysis. The author of an anonymous text can be generally identified by extracting a set of distinctive features of the text, and then using the features to find the most likely author. Numerous efforts have been made to develop the feature extraction technique with more robustness and the classification algorithm, but an important issue is how to select the features datasets and classification method. To address this issue, we propose an integrated classification algorithm that extracts multiple feature datasets from differing viewpoints and aspects of a text and applies multiple strong classifiers to the datasets. Our proposed method achieved 100% accuracy in identifying the authors of literary works and student essays, and identified the author of all but 1 out of 60 diaries which were written by 6 different people.Our proposed method achieved equivalent or better accuracy than the case when any a strong classifier applied to individual feature dataset. Furthermore, the accuracy in identifying the authors of student essays increased by roughly two percentage points.

This paper reports on a faunal change of Middle Jurassic (Bajocian) radiolarians from manganese carbonate nodules in the Inuyama area, Mino Terrane. Five radiolarian assemblages, distinguished from five horizons (IN-16, IN-10, IN-7, IN-3 and IN-1 in ascending order) of the Unuma section, are well-preserved and extremely diversified in specific composition. About 300 species of radiolarian fossils are obtained from each manganese carbonate nodule. Approximately two thirds of radiolarian species are composed of common species between two horizons. The value of Spumellaria/Nassellaria (S/N) ratio is high in the lowermost horizon (IN-16) and low in the uppermost horizon (IN-1). Although the extinction and origination rates of radiolarian species are totally constant through the section, the origination of nassellarian species in the uppermost horizon shows a high rate. On the basis of these faunal analyses, the radiolarian faunal change was constant during Bajocian time except for a little change of the S/N ratio and the origination rate of nassellarian species. It is suggested that there was not the large oceanic environmental change during Bajocian time in the western part of the Panthalassa.

東日本大震災(以下,「大震災」)の発生は,岩手県,宮城県,福島県を中心に畜舎等の損壊や家畜の死亡・廃用といった直接的な被害をもたらした。こうした直接的な被害が報告される一方で,電気・水道等の供給停止,飼料工場の被災,交通網の遮断や燃料不足等が,家畜の生産・飼養管理や物流等に影響をおよぼし,生産物の廃棄や資質低下,資材の入手先や販売先の確保に困難を極めるといった二次的影響・被害ももたらした。さらに,東京電力福島第一原子力発電所の事故は,稲ワラや堆肥,圃場を放射能汚染し,出荷遅延,汚染堆肥の除去・保管等を余儀なくされ,風評被害による畜産物消費の低迷を惹起(じゃっき)した。このように,大震災の発生に伴う畜産経営への被害・影響については広範であったが,一方で個々の畜産経営が受けた影響は,同じ地域であっても地理的条件,周辺の社会インフラ寸断状況により異なるものであった。再生・復興の取り組みはまだまだ道半ばであり,避難している者,原発事故による影響がまだまだ残る地域もあるが,被災地で畜産経営を取り巻いてどのようなことが起き,生産活動継続でどのように苦労したかを横断的に整理し,記録等にとどめておくことは,被災地の着実な復興の歩みの上で,また今後のわが国の畜産経営の維持・安定的な発展に重要なことである。

The objectives of this paper are to figure out what substantive issues and theoretical approaches are receiving scholars' attention in Japan and to present proposals to build a viable transnational community of students of international relations.To avoid writers' personal conceptions of these problems, the following methods were used; first, a questionnaire was addressed to the members of the Japan Association of International Relations (JAIR) to bring together JAIR members' perceptions of the problems in 1988. The rate of return was about 27 percent; 329 out of about 1, 200 JAIR members answered the questionnaire. The results of the questionnaire were suggestive.Second, to avoid a gap between perception and behavior, the academic works done by JAIR members were also examined to understand what substantive issues were actively studied and which theoretical approaches were frequently used in research. Third, a research team was organized to examine the result of the questionnaire and the characteristics of international studies made by JAIR members.The result of this research was presented to the Third World Assembly of International Studies held in Williamsburg, Virginia, August 1988. This article is a Japanese version of a summary of the original paper.The first section of this paper explains the objectives and methodology. The second section briefly reviews international studies of Japan before the 1980s. The third section figures out JAIR members' primary fields of research. The fourth section investigates JAIR members' perceptions of the important substantial issues and their works in regard with these issues.The fifth and six sections are devoted to the examination of JAIR members' perceptions on theoreticl approaches, the theoretical characteristics of the works done by JAIR members, and major analytic weakness of research. The seventh section argues the principal users of scholarly research on international questions. The eighth section discusses the way in which Japanese scholars contribute to building a viable transnational community of scholars.
