日本舞踊において自己研鑚過程の若い演者への教育支援を想定し、「技」の巧拙の判断の根拠となる身体重心の置き方や安定性について動作解析することを目的に置いた。モーションキャプチャ並びに床反力計を用いて身体重心並びに圧力中心点との関連を解析した結果、腰が入った演者は身体重心の垂直方向の標準偏差が小さいこと、前後・左右方向の身体重心と圧力中心のずれが小さいことが明らかとなった。また、独自の解析によって得られた身体重心に着目した可視化システムや、サーボアクチュエータ及び3DCGを用いた動作教示システムなど有用な教育支援システムの構築につながった。

Different theories on the Franz-Keldysh effect are briefly described with the experimental results on the electro-absorption effect for GaAs, Si and other materials, and the experimental results are compared with the theories. The experiments and the analysis of the electro-reflectance effect are also introduced. The practical applications of the Franz-Keldysh effect such as a modulating device of light intensity, a light deflection device and a light-activated negative registance device are discussed. According to the authors' work on the electro-absorption effect in CdS crystals, 90_??_95%' modulation has been obtained under a modulating field of 0.95×105 V/cm, using a specimen of 100μm thick and wavelength of 5120Ä. The frequency response of the effect has been concluded to be flat up to 107 Hz from the result in an application of a pulsed voltage.

'Fushizukuri Education' is known as a great music education in Japan after the war. It was practiced in Furukawa Elementary School in Gifu Prefecture from the late 1960's to the early 1970's. This education was continued more than 10 years and was highly appreciated nationwide. Behind these brilliant successes, there were mainly two reasons. The one is the introduction of the educational philosophy by the principal, Ichiro Nakaya and the other is a great deal of effort of all teachers at the school including the chief music teacher Toshihiro Yamasaki.This study examined book and study reports which were written by Yamasaki. The concept of 'Fushizukuri Education' in Furukawa Elementary School was that all teachers are responsible to raise all children. The aim of this education was not only to teach music, but also to form the personal character through voluntary music activities. The characteristics of its teaching method are as follows: Basic musical abilities can be naturally developed by using double teaching methods ('Fushizukuri Education' curriculum and course materials study); Motivation for learning can be increased through the creative activity of 'Fushizukuri'; Aim to enhance personal character formation through 'Fushizukuri' activity as a group activity; Various musical signals are used in the music lessons; Information about music can be acquired by listening to music and imitating to sing songs and play instruments as teacher and/or children do; and creative activities can be seen as a result of all these effects.

We report an application of the ensemble Kalman filter (EnKF) and smoother (EnKS) to an intermediate coupled atmosphere-ocean model of Zebiak and Cane, into which the sea surface height (SSH) anomaly observations by TOPEX/POSEIDON (T/P) altimetry are assimilated. Smoothed estimates of the 54,403 dimensional state are obtained from 1,981 observational points with 2,048 ensemble members. While assimilated data are SSH anomalies alone, the estimated sea surface temperature (SST) anomalies reproduce primary temporal characteristics of the actual SST. The smoothed estimate of the zonal wind anomalies is also consistent with the observation except for the westerly anomalies in the western Pacific.

自己認識の発達を明らかにするために11人の小学生の作文を1年生から5年生まで追跡し,分析してみた。その結果,次のようなことが明らかになった。(a)自己の認識は,他を媒介として可能になる。(b)自己の認識は,はじめは外面的なもの(行動)の認識にとどまるが,次第に内面的なもの(意識内容)の認識が可能になる。(C)自己の認識は,まず現在の自己の認識から始まり,ついで,過去の自己の認識が可能となる。その結果,変化するものとして自己を認識することができる。(d)自己の認識は,個人としての他を媒介として始まるが,次第に,集団としての他を媒介にして深まり,そして,集団の中の個としての自己の認識へと進む。
