A new species of free-living marine nematode, Oncholaimus langhovdensis sp. nov., is described from the intertidal zone of Langhovde (near Syowa Station), Dronning Maud Land, East Antarctica. It closely resembles 11 congeners in the conico-cylindrical tail shape present in males and amphid and excretory pore positions, short spicules, and Demanian system structure present in females. However, it mainly differs from these congeners in body size, de Man’s ratios, tail length and shape, and Demanian system structure present in females. Oncholaimus langhovdensis sp. nov. also resembles four congeners known only by females, but it can be distinguished from them based on the tail length and uvette position. In addition to O. langhovdensis sp. nov., two undescribed species (Tripyloididae gen. sp. and Axonolaimidae gen. sp.) and four unidentified species (Sphaerolaimus sp., Oncholaimidae gen. sp., Comesomatidae gen. sp., and Chromadorida fam. gen. sp.) were found from the same locality.

昨今、「IPランドスケープ」として、企業に属する知財部員が他社の知的財産を中心に分析し、M&Aなど自社にとって重要な意思決定の場面で貢献する手法が注目されており、従前の知財部員の業務が大きく変容する局面にさしかかっている。 そこで、経験の浅いメンバーが調査分析スキルを獲得することを目的に、過去のM&A事例を題材とした知財デューディリジェンス(DD)に取り組んだ。知財情報を中心に「なぜM&Aが必要か」「何ができるようになるのか」「他に候補はないのか」の3つの論点で分析した結果と、それら実践を通じて、複数担当者で分担しながら効率的に知財DDを進めるためのポイントについて報告する。

The purpose of this study is to identify the significance of the change in the intestinal absorption rate values the (ƒ1 value) to the change of ingestion dose coefficient following an acute intake of 134Cs and 137Cs. This study also attempted to provide a simple calculation method of ingestion dose coefficients given a specific value of ƒ1 and age groups by using linear regression models. In the range of 0-1, 10 different values of ƒ1 for 1-year, 5-year-old, and the adult group were chosen and used in a separate calculation by using, a biokinetic compartment model, DCAL. It was found that the lower values of ƒ1 lead to a significant decrease of the committed effective dose coefficient for an adult. Oppositely for children, the decrease of the coefficient was not as significant. This study also suggests that the significance of dose coefficient change due to the variation of ƒ1 substantially depends on the biological half-life of the radionuclide, the fraction of absorbed energy and the mass of organs and tissues in human body.

2015年3月第12回国家戦略特区諮問会議で都市公園法における保育所の設置が解禁された。横浜市では、2015年に、先進的に保育施設による公園活用とマネジメントの在り方についての研究会を立ち上げ、保育施設と公園との両者有益な関係性、保育施設による公園活用とパークマネジメントの可能性について試行を重ねてきた。本稿はその検討のプロセスについて報告するとともに、今後新たなパークマネジメントの担い手となりうる保育施設の可能性について速報的に言及したものである。多分野の専門家と保育対策・保育整備、公園管理の行政担当者が、子どもの育ちや近隣で育まれる環境づくりのエビデンスを元に、近隣との関係づくりの突破口として、保育施設を公園活用して設置する際の基準づくりやパークマネジメントの一端を担えるための手続き改正の提案を行い、実施してきたことの成果は大きい。公園内に保育施設を設置できる規制緩和が始まって2年が経過し、全国には公園内に設置された保育施設事例が蓄積されてきたことを踏まえ、それらの事例の俯瞰的整理を行いながら、その後の評価・検証をしていくことが、今後の課題である。

電子ジャーナル時代におけるILLについて,大阪大学附属図書館生命科学図書館のこれまでのILL受付件数の推移から今後の課題を述べる。最初にこの20余年間の受付件数の増減の経緯と特長を示す。さらには,今後の電子ジャーナル購読規模縮減があった後,冊子体のない図書館でのILLによる効率的な文献情報提供には,電子媒体での新たな文献情報提供システムと文献情報と文献所在情報が統合的に検索可能なシステムの開発と運用が必要なことを述べる。

This research examines how the image of the Other excluded from "national memory" was represented in Japanese television documentaries of the 1950s and 1960s as well as clarifies how intellectuals, journalists, and filmmakers had to resist the contradiction and incoherence of linking "public memory" with "national memory." After World War II, Japan's political, economic and social systems, which had maintained continuity before and during the war, were shaken substantially. Japanese recognition of their role in the war as promoted by the American General Headquarters lacked awareness of the perspective of the Asian nations Japan colonized. Nevertheless, critical television documentaries were made one after another during this time. This paper first examines how Asia's political, economic, and social history as well as changes in the skills and techniques necessary for making television programs influenced the representation of Korea in television documentaries. It then examines the changes in said representation by analyzing program images and interviewing the directors of several television documentary programs. First is Nihon no Sugao: Nihon no Naka no Chosen [The Real Japan: Korea in Japan] (1959: NHK), which was the first television documentary after the end of the war to focus on Koreans in Japan (Zainichi). Second is Daitokai no Ama [Women Divers in the Big City] (1965: Asahi Broadcast), which was made by Japan's first Korean television director. Finally, some documentary programs which portray Korean soldiers who were mobilized as part of the Japanese Army during the war are studied, including Wasurerareta Kogun [Forgotten Imperial Soldiers] (1963: Nihon Broadcast) , directed by Nagisa Oshima. Based on the findings of this study, I concluded that few documentary programs focused on Korea in the early days of television in Japan; however, those that did exist expressed some signs of responsibility for Japanese imperialism and colonialism in Korea.

本研究では,睡眠不足時の社会認知機能への影響について,機能的核磁気共鳴画像法(fMRI)を用いて検討を行った.社会認知機能の1つであるミラーニューロンシステム(MNS)と共感が関連する,脳の機能領域に着目し,痛みを伴う行動認知や表情認知刺激を用いた実験を実施した.その結果,睡眠不足時には情動に重要な役割を持つ島皮質において,痛みや恐怖の表情といったネガティブな刺激に対して強く賦活する事が明らかとなった.

河川陸封性魚種であるカワヨシノボリの地理的変異を, アイソザイム分析を用いて23遺伝子座について検証した.各河川の集団間の遺伝的分化は回遊性魚種や周縁性魚種のそれと比べると人きな値をとり, この差は本種の生態学的特性を反映しているものと考えられる.遺伝子組成の相違により, 本種の集団は5つのグループに大別された.21集団から成る最も大きなグループ (グループ3) は瀬戸内海を中心に分布し, 6集団からなる, 濃尾平野を中心に分布する第2のグループ (グループ2) とは鈴鹿山脈によって隔てられていた.両グループ内の遺伝的分化の程度は共に小さかった (平均遺伝的距離: 0.02-0.04).本種の分布域の東限に分布する第3のグル― プ (グループ5) は他のグループとの間だけでなく, グループ内においても遺伝的に最も大きく分化していた.残る2つのグループ (グループ1と4) は, 各々, 単一の集団からなるグループと, 遺伝的に類似するが地理的な近似性の無い3集団からなるグループであった.本種の現在の分布は洪積世以降の日本列島の地史を反映しているものと考えられる.

甲状腺腫瘍は内分泌腺に発生する腫瘍として最も多く, その診断・治療に専門的な知識と技術を必要とする. しかし, 十分なエビデンスが少ないことより, ともすれば適切な診断・治療が行われない可能性がある. こうした状況を改善し甲状腺腫瘍診療の標準化を図ることがどうしても必要であり「甲状腺腫瘍診療ガイドライン」が2010年に生まれた. 本ガイドラインの構成と内容の概略を述べた後に, 癌の中で最も頻度の高い乳頭癌について治療法の変遷や欧米との違いなどについて記載した. 甲状腺分化癌の治療は手術と放射性ヨウ素が主なものであるが, 日本では放射性ヨウ素の利用が制限されていたため初期治療は手術が主流であった. しかし最近少量 (30mCi) の131I アブレーションが外来で行えるようになり状況は変化しつつある. また本ガイドラインの英語版も出版され世界に「日本型」の甲状腺腫瘍の取り扱いもアピールできたと考える. 本ガイドライン公開後6年近くが経過している. ごく最近, 分子標的薬剤が甲状腺癌にも保険適応が認められた. またこのほかにも重要なエビデンスとなる報告がいくつかなされている. これらのことを盛り込んだ改訂版が近い将来でき上がる予定となっている.
