インド西部の都市ウダイプルでは,かつての支配者であるラージプートの貴族が不遇の死を遂げた後に霊となった存在サガスジーを神として崇拝する信仰が近年人気となっている。この信仰においては,聖典やそれに関する言説は重視されず,神霊の像としての現れに働きかけ,五感を通じて神格と交流するという実践こそが最重要とされる。神像は「ラージプートらしさ」を信者たちが意思を働かせあう形でこの世に具現させたものだが,像を現出させる究極的な行為主体はサガスジー本体であることが強調され,人間の意思の主体性は否定されるところにこの信仰の特性があった。しかし,中間層の信者が中心となるある社では,神像の現れに関わる信者側の個性や主体性が強調される傾向がある。この傾向はサイバー空間に現れたサガスジーにおいては一層顕著となっている。 本論文は図像優位的な神霊信仰に関わる宗教実践の特性を,神像と人,人と人の社会関係を総体的に捉える視点から解明し,その特性の変化の要因を現代インドの社会変化と関連づけて考察する。Recently, religious cults centered on Sagasjī—spirits originated from exnobleRajputs who died unfortunate deaths—have become popular among thecitizens of Udaipur in western India. Lacking any sacred texts or discourse,the cults treat religious practices as crucially important, working on theimages of the spirits and interacting with them through the corporeal senses.The images of the spirits take concrete 'Rajput-like' form through thecollaboration of followers' imaginations about 'Rajput-ness.' However, theytraditionally negate human individuality and the intention for spirits' embodimentin the images, with the supreme agency being ascribed to the spiritsthemselves. However, at one shrine for a certain spirit, where the bulk of followerscome from the urban middle class, the emphasis tends to be on thehuman intention for the materialization of the spirits. Moreover, that tendencyis even more conspicuous as the Sagasjī appears in cyberspace.This paper elucidates the characteristics of the religious practice of figurity,particularly that of spirit cults, considering the social relationshipsbetween the images and human beings as well as those among followers. Italso explores why those characteristics have changed against the backgroundof contemporary Indian social change.

富山大学附属図書館所蔵のラフカディオ・ハーン(小泉八雲)旧蔵書(ヘルン文庫)には,2種類の『ギリシア詞華集』が収蔵されている。そのうち1種類は英語版で,書架番号[302]The Greek anthology : as selected for the use of Westminster, Eton and other Public schools / literally translated into English prose, chiefly by George Burges, to witch are added Metrical Versions by Bland, Merivale, and others, and an index of reference to the originals, London, G. Bell, 1893.であり, もう1種類はフランス語版で2巻本の,書架番号[1641]と[1642]Anthologie Grecque, Tome I-II,traduite sur le texte publié d'après le manuscrit palatin par Fr. Jacobs, avec des notices biograophiques et littéraires sur les poëtes de l'anthologie, Paris, Hachette, 1863. であり,いずれもハーンが来日後に購入したものと思われる。いずれの『ギリシア詞華集』にもハーンによる鉛筆の書き込みが随所に見られるが,本稿はそのうちフランス語訳の2巻本について調査を行った結果を記すものである。

2006 年 6 月の改正道交法により,駐車違反の取締りが強化されている.しかし,二輪車に関しては駐車場が少ないため,二輪車の駐車スペースを整備することが求められている.この対策として,現在ある四輪車駐車場に二輪車駐車スペースを併設する方法があげられる.しかし,四輪車と二輪車で料金体系を変える必要があり,駐車場の自動発券システムでは,二輪車と四輪車を自動的に判別させなければならない.この解決方法として,著者らは,駐車場の入り口ゲートに固定カメラを設置し,画像処理により二輪車と四輪車を判別するシステムを開発した.本稿では,実フィールドでの実証検証を行い,運用可能なレベルの性能を確保できたので報告する.A parking violation has got strict by revised the Road Traffic Law since June, 2006. Because parking area of motorcycle is few, it is necessary to increase parking lot of the motorcycle. In order to solve this problem, there is a method of establishing the Motorcycle parking space as an annex in the Automobile parking lot. However, it is necessary to change the fee system with the Motorcycle and Automobile. Thus, the system of the automatic issuing tickets of the parking lot should automatically distinguish the Motorcycle and Automobile. In order to overcome this problem, we have been developed the image processing apparatus which recognizes the Motorcycle and Automobile with a steady camera for Parking lot Management. In this paper, we report the result of field test, because the image processing apparatus achieved the performance at the level that was able to be operated.

本稿では,ATM網における輻輳制御方式について,ATM Forumで審議されている各方式の概要等を報告する.まず,制御の基盤となるトラヒックパラメータおよびトラヒッククラスについて述べる.トラヒッククラスとしては,帯域割当を行なわなず,ピークレート(PCR)以下のレートで送信され,最小レート(SCR)の保証はない,ABR(Available BitRate)サービス,ABRクラスに最小レート(SCR)の品質保証が加わったVBR+(Valiable Bit Rate Plus)が新たに定義された.次に,輻輳制御方式が最も重要となるBest Effort(ABR)クラスにおける各提案方式について,レート制御方式を中心にその概要を述べる.さらにシミュレーションによって各方式の性能比較を行った.

生態学者はしばしば、複数の時系列データからそれらの間に存在する因果関係を推定する必要に迫られる。しかし、生物学的事象は決定論的かつ非線形で複雑な過程を背景に持つのが一般的であり、そのような応答から生じた時系列データ間の因果関係を推定するのは非常に困難である。本稿では、このような状況において有効である因果関係推定法であるConvergent cross mappingについて、その仕組み、使い方、将来の課題等を解説する。

The effects of handwriting on scoring essay tests were explored. The data were obtained from a newspaper company. The examinees were the applicants for the company jobs, and they were asked to write a small essay under the title of "About nation". The essays written by the applicants were copied and are called "handwriting" in this paper. The same paper were typed by a word-processor and are called "word-processed" in this paper. Five university or school teachers rated the essays. It was found that 1. there were no consistent differences between the averaged scores of handwriting and word-processed essays. 2. there were significant differences among rators.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the influences of gender-role, love style, and romantic love behavior on the relational evaluations among couples in love. Subjects were 78 couples. Couples were classified into certain groups in view of the scores of gender-role, love style, and performances of romantic love behavior. Major findings in detail were as follows: 1. The couples showing high scores in Eros and/or Agape in both sexes also show higher score of satisfaction than those with low score of Eros and Agape in both sexes. On the other hand, the couples with low score of Ludus in both sexes or at least in females show higher relational evaluation as well as satisfaction than those with high score of Ludus in both sexes. That is, the stability of the relationship depends on whether the score of Ludus in females is high or not 2. In the couples with higher score in satisfaction and relational evaluation, there is little difference between both sexes. 3. Females in the couples with high score of intimate love behavior and mutual understanding are more satisfied than those not. What makes females satisfied is the males' high performance in intimate love behavior and the females' high performance in mutual understanding. 4. As for satifaction and relational evalution differences between both sexes are smaller in the couples with higher perfomance than those with lower.

日本語を学び始めた外国人児童と、その児童を迎え入れる在籍学級の児童が、互いに相手の言葉を使ってコミュニケーションを取るための多言語会話集「はなしてみよう-きになるあの子となかよくなろう-」について報告する。この会話集は、前橋国際大学の日本語教育実習を履修した学生が、授業の課題の一つとして作成したものである。小学校の日本語教室で外国人児童を支援した体験をもとに、児童同士がよく使うと思われる表現を選び、各表現を日本語・英語・スペイン語・ポルトガル語・ベトナム語・タガログ語で表記してイラストとともに提示した。本稿では会話集の作成経緯、ねらい、内容、そして実践での使用例について記述する。研究ノート
