文章を読み進める目の動きを効率化することで,読み心地や理解度を維持したまま読み速度の向上を図るための,電子リーダー上での日本語表示方式を提案する.読者が読みやすいと感じる一行の長さは20~29文字程度であるが,既存方式では行長が短いほど読み速度は低下するため,最大速度で読むためには一行40文字程度の行長が必要という課題があった.そこで本研究では,文節にもとづく改行位置の調整および文字ベースラインを文節単位で階段状に下げていく既存手法に加えて,新たに「隔行単位の背景着色」「行間隔の拡張」「階段状の行頭インデント」「行頭文節の微振動」の4手法を組合せた表示方式を考案し,その効果を読み速度や眼球運動の点から検証した.その結果,提案方式では,読者が読みやすいと感じる一行20~29文字の行長でも,一行40文字の場合と同等の最大速度で読めることがわかった.また,読み速度の向上は,停留数の減少に起因していることがわかった.

基本的生活習慣と社会性の関係では、A群(基本的生活習慣が獲得されている子ども)がそうでないB群の子どもより、社会性の発達の面で各項目ともに上回っていることが、今回のクロス集計で明らかになった。また、精神面における項目においても同様の傾向がみられるなど、子どもの成育と健康度という視点から、幼児期の子どもにとって基本的生活習慣の獲得が不可欠な要因であることが、改めて確認されたといえる。キーワード:子どもの基本的生活習慣、社会性の発達

In National Government Parks, a large number of exhibition facilities have been constructed and are managed and operated for purposes such as introduction of projects related to parks and open green space, popularization and education activities related to the nature and culture of the region, etc. Issues for these exhibition facilities include renewal of exhibits, specialization of content, and the like. Study of efficient/effective management and operation techniques referring to case studies of museums, which are similar facilities, is considered effective in responding to these issues. In this research, the date of establishment, area, items displayed, condition of installation of fixtures and furniture of the exhibition facilities, and the purpose, period, location, content, and management and operation of the operation system, etc. of permanent exhibits and thematic exhibits were arranged, and the features and effects of exhibits in National Government Parks were analyzed and considered from the viewpoint of museum-like functions.

アトピー患者白血球および受動的感作ヒト肺切片からのアナフィラキシー性histamineおよびleukotriene (LT) 遊離に及ぼすtranilastの影響について検討した.1.10^<-5>g/mlのtranilastの反応惹起30min前処理は, 末梢血白血球からのhistamine遊離を抑制しなかったが, peptide LTsの遊離を抑制した.2.10^<-5>および10^<-4>g/mlのtranilastの反応惹起30min前処理は, 感作ヒト肺切片からのhistamine遊離のみならず, LTB_4およびpeptide LTsの遊離をも抑制した.以上の成績から, tranilastの抗喘息効果の一端は, histamineおよびLT遊離を抑制する機構によることが示唆された.

忍路湾の潮間帯~水深5m付近における底生生物相調査の過程で、以下の13種のトウガタガイ科貝類が採集された。Odostomia desimana Dall and Bartsch, 1906クチキレガイモドキ、O. tenera A. Adams, 1860スカシクチキレガイモドキ、O. cf. kizakiensis Yokoyama, 1922, O. cf. toneana Yokoyama, 1922, Chrysallida pseudalveata Nomura, 1936ムシロイトカケクチキレガイ、C. ultralaeta (Nomura, 1936)カワリイトカケギリガイ、Miralda scitula (A. Adams, 1860)ハチマキクチキレガイ(新称)、M. neofelixoides (Nomura, 1936)トウダカチリメンクチキレガイ、Phasianema lirata (A. Adams, 1860)ツトクチキレガイ、Turbonilla yoritomoi Nomura, 1938イソイトカケギリガイ、Cingulina cingulata (Dunker, 1860)ヨコイトカケギリガイ、C. terebra (Dunker, 1860)ヨコイトカケギリガイダマシ、Syrnola taeniata (A. Adams, 1863)スジイリクリムシクチキレガイ。これらの内、コイトカケギリガイ以外は北海道新記録種である。また、各種の生物地理学的見地から、忍路湾潮間帯付近のトウガタガイ類相が主に温帯性種から構成され、わずかに北方系および熱帯性種が混在していることが分かった。

症例は64歳, 男性。留置所内において, 自殺目的で腹部に箸を突き立て, 壁にぶつかり受傷し, 当院に搬送された。来院時, 意識状態良好で, バイタルサインも安定しており, 腹部は平坦, 貧血を認めなかった。箸は膀部より刺入, 固定されていた。腹部CT検査にて, 箸は1下大静脈を貫通後, 腰部椎体にまで達していたが, 明らかな腹腔内出血, 遊離ガス像は認めなかった。箸刺創による下大静脈損傷と診断し, 緊急手術を施行した。箸は, Treitz靱帯より約30cm肛門側の空腸と, 総腸骨静脈合流部より約2cm頭側の下大静脈を貫通し, 椎体に刺さっていた。下大静脈貫通部を縫合止血後, 空腸貫通部も一次的に縫合閉鎖をした。他の損傷は認めなかった。術後経過良好で, 第16病日目に退院した。腹部刺創では, 受傷状態のまま搬送することが肝要であり, 全身状態が安定していれば, 損傷部位の診断にCT検査は有用である。

Objectives: This study aims to develop a scale of “women-doctor-friendly working conditions in a hospital setting”. Methods: A task team consisting of relevant people including a medical doctor and a hospital personnel identified 36 items related to women-doctor-friendly working conditions. From December in 2012 to January in 2013, we sent a self-administered questionnaire to 807 full-time employees including faculty members and medical doctors who worked for a university-affiliated hospital. We asked them to score the extent to which they think it is necessary for women doctors to balance between work and gender role responsibilities on the basis of the Likert scale. We carried out a factor analysis and computed Cronbach’s alpha to develop a scale and investigated its construct validity and reliability. Results: Of the 807 employees, 291 returned the questionnaires (response rate, 36.1%). The item-total correlation (between an individual item score and the total score) coefficient was in the range from 0.44 to 0.68. In factor analysis, we deleted six items, and five factors were extracted on the basis of the least likelihood method with the oblique Promax rotation. The factors were termed “gender equality action in an organization”, “the compliance of care leave in both sexes and parental leave in men”, “balance between life events and work”, “childcare support at the workplace”, and “flexible employment status”. The Cronbach’s alpha values of all the factors and the total items were 0.82–0.89 and 0.93, respectively, suggesting that the scale we developed has high reliability. Conclusions: The result indicated that the scale of women-doctor-friendly working conditions consisting of five factors with 30 items is highly validated and reliable.

We experienced two cases of limb edema of unknown pathogenesis. No evidence was found concerning involvement of the kidneys, heart of other visceral organs. Case I was 22-year-old woman. Her white blood cell count increased to 13, 100/μl with 65.0 % eosinophils. Case 2 was a 27-year-old woman. Her white blood cell count increased to 23, 300/μl with 67.0 % eosinophils. In these cases, extensive diagnostic evaluations revealed no evidence of atopy, neoplasms, collagen vascular disease, or parasitic infestation. We diagnosed these cases as episodic angioedema with eosinophilia. In both cases, the angioedema improved gradually in parallel with a decrease in the white blood cell count. This disorder is very rare, but it is very important to consider it in differential diagnosis especially for nephrologists.

犬のタマネギ摂取による溶血性貧血の機序を明らかにする目的でin vitroの実験を行ない, ヘモグロビンの崩壊過程, 活性酸素の関与の有無, 赤血球膜の障害について検討した. タマネギ抽出物の添加によりヘモグロビンはヘム鉄の酸化, タンパク部分の変性を経て, Heinz小体形成へと進むことが明らかとなり, この過程においてスーパーオキサイドの発生, 赤血球膜の脆弱化がおこることが確認された. ヘモグロビンの酸化はSOD, カタラーゼ, GSH, マンニトールによって阻止されなかったが, 膜の脆弱化はSOD, カタラーゼにより有意に阻止された. 一酸化炭素ヘモグロビンではヘモグロビンの酸化変性, スーパーオキサイドの発生は認められなかった. したがって, メトヘモグロビンおよびスーパーオキサイドの発生源は酸素ヘモグロビンであり, これらの生成はタマネギ抽出物の存在により促進されることが示唆された. また, 発生したスーパーオキサイドおよびその代謝物である過酸化水素はヘモグロビンの酸化には寄与しないが, 赤血球膜の障害をもたらすことが明らかとなった.

ヒノキチオール配合ハンドクリーム, リキッドソープ, ハンドウォッシュが新たに開発, 製品化された。これらの製品はヒノキチオールにアルミニウムジステアレートあるいは塩化アルミニウムが配合されヒノキチオール·アルミニウム錯体として安定性, 抗菌活性の強化がなされている。抗菌活性の基礎的検討をヒノキチオール50, 500, 1000各ppmで行い, 50ppmヒノキチオール·アルミニウムジステレート配合溶液がMRSA, MSSA, <I>P. aeruginosa</I>, <I>E. coli</I>に最も殺菌効果があることを見い出した。またハンドクリームのクリームベースに0.1%ヒノキチオールと0.5%アルミニウムジステアレートを配合したものはクリームベースあるいはクリームベースに0.1%ヒノキチオールを配合したものより統計学的に有意に高い抗菌活性を有していた。製品化されたハンドクリーム, リキッドソープ, ハンドウォッシュも抗菌活性を明らかに有しとくにリキッドソープ, ハンドウォッシュは極めて高い抗菌活性を示した。以上より細菌感染が重要な役割を演じている皮膚疾患のスキンケアーあるいは皮膚洗浄に本製品が有用であると思われた。
