この研究では、3年間にわたって文献の調査、研究者による討議、専門家へのインタビュ-、各種の実験、シュミレ-ションなどが繰り返された。その結果として(1)通訳教育と外国語教育に関する論議が深まり、(2)通訳技術に関する基礎研究が従来なかったレべルにまで進展し、(3)通訳技術をめぐる理論構築の可能性が生まれてきた。外国語教育に関しては、文法や訳読中心の教育ではなく、コミュニケ-ションの全体的内容に着目する(意味を中心とする)カリキュラムが必要であろうといった指摘がなされるに至った。その具体的方法については、報告書「外国語教育の一環としての通訳養成のための教育内容方法の開発に関する総合的研究」に詳しい。通訳技術に関する基礎研究では、さまざまな側面が明らかになったが特に語学の上達には一般的な教養や知識が欠かせないということが計量的に明らかになった。すなわち、ある程度以上の語学能力の発達のためには教養の果たす役割が大きいといえる。理論構築に関しては、過去の業績を踏まえつついくつかの具体的手法が提案されるに至った。

Real haptics has been a unsolved problem since its starting in 1940's. After many R&Ds including the early works in US and other countries, the bilateral control designed in acceleration space solves this issue. The quality of the touching and tactile sensation is heavily depends on transperancy between master side and slave side. The robust motion control which is equal to the acceleration control gives high transperancy. The real haptics is now key concept in 21st century where QOL should be the basis of the society. The various examples are also shown.

(目的)『ヒポクラテス全集』の尿に関する記述を研究した.(方法): 『ヒポクラテス全集』(ラーブ版, 大槻版, 今版)の尿の記述を採集し, コス学派とクニドス学派とで比較した.(結果)尿は396カ所記述されていた;コス学派355, クニドス学派23, 学派不明9であった.尿所見の記述は39種類で, 濃厚, 希薄, 清澄, 濁り, 煮熟, 未熟, 水っぽい, 色あせ, "良好な色", 血液, 血塊, 膿, などであった.色は27色で, 黒(メラス), 白(レウコス)が多く, 赤(エリュトロス), 黄色, 黄色系色(クロロス, オクロス, プロス, クサントス)などがこれに続いた."良い尿"とは, 白色尿(レウコス), 黄色尿(オクロス), または, 澱が白く, 滑らかで均一な尿で, "悪い尿"とは, 黒色尿, 希薄尿, 悪い匂い, 水っぽい尿, 澱がふすま状の尿である.(結論)尿所見は『ヒポクラテス全集』で記述されており, コス学派で多く, 多彩であった.ヒポクラテスの色彩表現は現代日本語とは異なっていた.白色(レウコス)ブドウ酒と同じように, (レウコス)は白色でも無色でもなく, 淡黄色であることから, 白色(レウコス)尿は淡黄色尿と考えられる.濃厚な白色尿と濃厚な黄色(オクロス)尿は, それぞれ, 健康者の濃縮された黄色と黄褐色尿と考えられる.黒色(メラス)尿は赤(メラス)ブドウ酒様の肉眼的血尿, 薄い黒っぽい尿(ヒュポメラス)は, 血尿に希釈尿が合併した尿で, 腎不全が考えられる.

Paddy fields and ditches around irrigation creeks constitute temporary waters flooded only in summer. In order to consider the significance of such temporary waters for fishes, the movement and behaviour of fishes in temporary waters and a permanently filled creek were investigated near the town of Yagi, Kyoto Prefecture. Among twenty-three species identified in the study area, seven species frequently entered the temporary waters, six of which utilized these waters as spawning sites. Two species were seldom found in the temporary waters, in spite of their abun dance in the permanent creek. The remaining fourteen identified species were rare in the study area. Fishes which frequently utilized the temporary waters for spawning had a similar reproductive habit, i. e., they scattered many eggs widely and showed no parental care. It is considered that many fishes, including juveniles, were foraging on the plankton which became abundant in the temporary waters after irrigation. It is surmised that newly emerged habitats of temporary waters with high productivity serve for the maintenance of a rich fish fauna in irrigation creeks.

本稿では、人工知能に対する法人格の付与について、以下の考察を得た。第一に、すべての人工知能が自然人の模倣を目的とするものではなく、近い将来に現実的なニーズが見込まれるのは、取引関係者の責任を制限するため、法的な権利義務を帰属させる投資媒体としての法人格であるように思われる。第二に、人工知能の自律的な判断に基づいて活動する法人においても、ことさらに構成員や役員を排除する必要はなく、たとえば既存の合同会社を利用する方法でも、その運営に関与する権限と責任を適切に配分することが可能である。第三に、外国法により法人格を付与された人工知能が日本で活動する場合には、抵触法(準拠法の選択)および実質法(外人法の適用)の両面において取引の安全を保護することができる。

新たな輸入防疫制度の申請対象となったテナガエビ類の流通状況を,2016-2017年に神奈川県,愛知県,大阪府,広島県の釣具店で調査した。新制度施行前は,中国から輸入された外来種チュウゴクスジエビが購入個体数の83-93%を占めた。2016年7月の施行後は,国内産地から供給された在来種スジエビが83-100%を占めた。しかし,広島県や愛知県では施行後もチュウゴクスジエビが5-11%含まれ,国内産地の一つである岡山県で採集されたことから,国内に定着した本種が釣り餌として流通していることが判明した。

Sternal segment dislocation is rare in children, with only several cases reported in the literature. We present a case of sternal segment dislocation in a six-year-old boy. He was initially treated with closed reduction, however, complete re-dislocation occurred a week later. Although rotation of the dislocated segment was 58°, the segment was stable with sonography. Then, he was treated conservatively. A year after the injury, remodeling of the dislocated segment was achieved.

The morphology and friction coefficient associated with water content and lipid on the skin of the inner part of the forearm, were investigated in 250 healthy subjects. It was found by electron microscopy that skin surface exhibited a pattern formed by two types of stripes, main stripes and fine stripes and these differ in length and depth from the superficial surface of the skin. Total length of the stripes on the skin surface per unit area decreases gradually with age of subject, and the pattern of the skin surface in advanced age is mainly formed by the main stripes. Friction coefficient of the surface depends largely on the total length of the stripes per unit area. It increases monotonically with the decrease of the total length.The relationship was investigated between water content and friction coefficient on skin surface, and it was found that there was an optimum water content to minimize friction coefficient of the skin surface.
