A rare species of Genus Latonopsis, Latonopsis kokuboi KADOTA, 1961,collected from Lake Kejou-numa, on August 30, 2006 was studied. Female : Body outline widely oval, translucent, yellowish in colour. Body length 0.9〜1.0 mm. First antennae 2-jointed, the terminal joint 4 times as long as the proximal joint, forming long slender flagellum. Antennal seatae 4-7/0-1-4. Postabdomen varies from 8〜11 anal denticles on each side. Male: unknown.

Toward the closedown of terrestrial analogue TV broadcast on 24th July 2011, the construction of the terrestrial digital broadcasting relay stations is becoming the final stage, and it is still necessary for its costs to reduce further. As for mini-transmitting system, we are promoting the low-cost type using a gap filler system. However, there are many mini-transmitting stations that should keep frequency precision to avoid SFN interference between the other stations. So, we could not adopt conventional gap filler system, because it has only a crystal oscillator or an OCXO oscillator. Therefore we developed a gap filler system to report here, which can input 10MHz signal from an outside standard oscillator.

Water levels were measured for 34 wells in the Nasu Fan, Tochigi prefecture, in the end of October, 2002. Water quality of groundwater (34 samples), river water (6 samples) and spring water (3 samples) were also analyzed. Local relief of groundwater table is considerably low, and the typical value of its gradient is approximately 1/100. At an elevation between 220m and 250m, groundwater table approaches to the ground surface. Revival of interrupted stream of the Sabi River and the Houki River can recharge groundwater. These facts indicate that there is active interaction between groundwater and surface streams. Groundwater level fell over most part of the fan in recent 10 years. The maximum reduction of the groundwater level exceeds 3m. Increase in electric conductivity of groundwater was detected in some areas including urban areas.

In the design study on sodium-cooled fast reactors, .it is important to investigate the gas entrainment (GE) phenomena in detail. In fact, a lot of analytical, experimental and numerical studies have been conducted to clarify the onset condition of GE and some GE onset models have been proposed. However, few studies on the modeling of entrained gas flow rate has been conducted due to the difficulty on modeling the gas bubble entrainment at a free surface, which is accompanied by complicated free surface deformation. In this paper, the authors propose a mechanistic model to predict the entrained gas flow rate by a free surface vortex. The model contains the theoretical equation of transient gas core elongation and the empirical equation of critical gas core length for gas bubble detachment. The mechanistic model is applied to predict the entrained gas flow rate in a simple GE experiment. As a result, the predicted results show qualitatively good agreement with the experimental results of the entrained gas flow rate. Therefore, it is confirmed that the proposed mechanistic model can predict the entrained gas flow rate by a free surface vortex.

リーフセルの回路最適化において,性能および面積の観点からトランジスタの折り返し段数を最適化する手法について記述する.従来のトランジスタの性能最適化手法では,サイズすなわちゲート幅のみが最適化の対象であり,折り返し段数はレイアウト設計時に性能を考慮せずに決定されていた.一方,本手法では,トランジスタの拡散共有や折り返しが性能および面積に与える影響を推定する手法を利用し,性能最適化の観点からトランジスタサイズだけでなく折り返し段数をも決定する手法について記述する.実験の結果,トランジスタサイズのみを最適化した場合と比較して,ライブラリセルの遅延を最大15%改善できることが分かった.

<p>In this study, we clarify the actual conditions and backgrounds of isolated deaths at temporary housing and recovery housing in disaster area, conducting statistical analyses based on death certificates. The results are as follows, 1) The ages of those who die alone are higher at recovery housing than temporary housing. At recovery housing, it also takes longer for discovery. The main reason for this is young people under age fifty with isolation risks such as remaining unemployed and single. 2) At temporary housing, family and neighbors mitigate the isolation risks, while their roles decline at recovery housing. 3) Location of recovery housing has little connection with isolation of disaster victims. One of the factors seems to be that the isolated condition has already been established before moving into recovery housing. Community-conscious safety nets should be in place especially in the early stage of restoring stable living.</p>

視神経脊髄炎関連疾患(NMOsd)は抗アクアポリン4抗体と補体による細胞傷害を主体とする自己免疫疾患である.再発予防には抗体産生抑制や補体活性化抑制,中枢神経への侵入抑制が中心で,prednisoloneで治療を始める.ステロイドを減量するために,筆者らが提唱しているtacrolimus1日1回夕食前(16時)投与およびトラフ値を用いたモニタリングの重要性を概説した.

In this study, we had investigated the benthic deep-sea fauna using the dredge and beam trawl in the region from the continental shelf to the continental slope of the Sea of Kumano, Mie Prefecture, during the No.1722 research voyage of the training ship Seisui-Maru of Mie University. The survey was carried out at 16 stations covering a depth range of 113-1059 m. The results of the survey, 14 phyla had been confirmed. Arthropod, echinoderm, annelid and molluscan macrobenthos were collected from all of the stations. The phylum number of each station was in the range from 4 to 11. The largest number of phyla had been confi rmed at St.10D of boulders bottom(768-800 m depth). Meiobenthos confi rmed in our sample were kinorhynchs, nematodes, tardigrades, loriciferans and small arthropods such as tanaidaceans, copepods and cumaceans. In addition to free-living species, parasitic copepods, isopods, platyhelminthes, acanthocephalans and nematodes had been found in fish, crustaceans and polychaetes.

要約 23歳,女性,看護師.初診の3年前より右足底疣贅に対しヨクイニンを内服したが効果なく,左足底にも拡大し2015年7月当科を紹介受診した.右母趾腹〜母趾球部,第1足趾間周囲,左母趾球部,踵,アキレス腱部に角化性局面を認め,右足底は癒合しモザイク疣贅の状態であった.削り処置と液体窒素凍結療法を行ったが足底はほとんど変化なく,35日後より夜間のみの活性型ビタミンD3密封外用療法を毎日患者自身で施行してもらった.外用16日後,明らかに軽快し,68日後・初診100日後治癒した.疣贅治療には絶対的に有効なものはなく,病型,重症度,年齢,部位,治療歴,治療へのコンプライアンス等を考慮して治療法を選択する必要がある.活性型ビタミンD3密封外用療法は治療に難渋することの多い足底疣贅に対して有効性を期待できる治療法の1つであると考える.

諸種のストレス状況によりラットの広汎な脳部位でnoradrenaline(NA)放出が亢進する.これらの研究ではストレスの負荷時間は30分以上である.しかし, わずか1分間という, ごく短時間の拘束ストレス負荷であっても, 視床下部, 青斑核部, 通馬, 大脳皮質や中脳といった脳部位で, ストレスから解放20分後や40分後に, 45分間の連続ストレスを負荷したのと同じくらいのNA放出亢進が生じる.benzodiazepine系の代表的抗不安薬であるdiazepamは, 視床下部, 扁桃核, 青斑核部などでストレスによるNA放出亢進を有意に減弱させるが, このようなdiazepamの作用はdiazepamがストレス負荷直前に投与された時のみに出現し, ストレス負荷10分前や負荷10分後の投与では出現しなし、また脳室内投与したopioidpeptideであるMet-enkephalinも, これらの脳部位でストレスによるNA放出亢進を減弱させるが, これらの減弱作用はMet-enkephalinがストレス負荷直前に投与された時にのみ出現し, ストレス負荷5分後, 10分後に投与された時には出現しない.同様にストレス負荷直前に投与された時にのみMet-enkephalinは脱糞や体重減少などのストレス負荷中のラットの情動反応を有意に減弱させる.これらの知見から, 一度動物がストレスにさらされると, それがたとえ1分間という短時間であっても, 作動してしまうひきがね機構が存在し, その結果1分間の拘束ストレス後20分もしくは40分の回復期の後に, 広汎な脳部位でNA放出が亢進ずるものと考えられる.corticotropin-releaslngfactor(CRF)拮抗薬であるα一helicalCRFのストレス負荷直前投与により, ストレスによる脳内NA放出亢進が有意に減弱されることから, CRFが一部このひきがね機構に関与していることが示唆される.精神神経免疫連関についての最近の知見から, これらの警告機構に免疫系が関与していることも示唆される。

‘Sick house syndrome’ (SHS) is a health issue that closely resembles sick building syndrome (SBS) that had occurred in European countries. The aim of this review is to clarify the characteristics of SHS by reviewing previous reports rigorously. We propose the definition of SHS as “health impairments caused by indoor air pollution, regardless of the place, causative substance, or pathogenesis”. Cases of SBS are reported to occur predominantly in offices and sometimes schools, whereas those of SHS are usually found in general dwellings. In many cases, SHS is caused by biologically and/or chemically polluted indoor air. Physical factors might affect the impairments of SHS in some cases. It is considered that symptoms of SHS develop through toxic, allergic and/or some unknown mechanisms. Psychological mechanisms might also affect the development of SHS. It is still unclear whether SBS and SHS are very close or identical clinical entities, mostly because a general agreement on a diagnostic standard for SHS has not been established. Previous research gradually clarified the etiology of SHS. Further advances in research, diagnosis, and treatment of SHS are warranted with the following measures. Firstly, a clinical diagnostic standard including both subjective and objective findings must be established. Secondly, a standard procedure for assessing indoor air contamination should be established. Lastly, as previous research indicated multiple causative factors for SHS, an interdisciplinary approach is needed to obtain the grand picture of the syndrome.

Synthesis of prostaglandin A2 (PGA2) by means of a route involving enzymatic reactions is described. Enantioselective reduction and hydrolysis of trans-3, 4-bis(methoxycarbonyl)cyclopentanone (1) were examined using yeasts or enzymes, and it was found that (+)- and (-)-1 are easily obtained by an enzymatic procedure. Compound (+)-1 was converted to the Corey intermediate for PGA2 via the regioselective hydrolysis of the (+)-diacetate (8) with porcine pancreatic lipase. This synthesis based on the enzymatic approach was proved to be useful for the synthesis of both PGA and PGE from (-)-1.
