Recently, the need for the analysis of psychotropic drugs has increased. With the revision of the medical treatment fees in FY2014, facilities that can be calculated in those case that could identify the drugs responsible for acute drug poisoning of a patient by instrumental analysis, including HPLC analysis, were expanded from only advanced emergency medical care centers (30 facilities nationwide) to emergency medical care centers (263 facilities nationwide). Since the responsible drugs can include barbiturate drugs used as antiepileptics and tricyclic drugs used as antidepressants, methods to analyze psychotropic drugs are needed. Moreover, in emergency medicine, it is necessary to quickly identify the cause of acute drug poisoning. Ultra-high-speed HPLC has become increasingly popular in analytical research fields. In this study, we investigated the analysis of psychotropic drugs using an ultra-high-speed HPLC system. The HPLC utilized in this study was a ChromasterUltra Rs system (Hitachi, Tokyo, Japan) equipped with a photodiode array detector. Using a LaChrom Ultra C18 column (particle size; 1.9 μm) as the analytical column, rapid and simultaneous analysis of 14 psychotropic drugs (five barbiturates, three benzodiazepines, five tri- and tetracyclic antidepressants, and trazodone) was achieved within 5 min.

植物においては,核酸の塩基配列特異的に起きるRNA分解,ならびにDNAのメチル化やヒストン修飾の変化を伴うエピジェネティックな変化を誘導することが可能である.本稿では,これらの反応経路が明らかになった経緯を概説するとともに,後者の例として,ウイルスベクターを用いてRNA-directed DNA methylationを誘導し,外来遺伝子をもたずに特定の内在性遺伝子の発現が抑制された植物を作出した研究を紹介する.また,遺伝子特異的,あるいは非特異的にエピジェネティックな変化を誘導する方法,ならびにCRISPR/Cas系などによるゲノム編集を含む,新規な植物育種技術の有効性と特徴を論じる.

我々は,音声認識技術を用いた「音声同時字幕システム」の運用を行う中で,聴覚障害者が感じている字幕の読みにくさは,漢字等の誤認識だけではなく,言い誤りや会話的な表現など話し言葉固有の性質にも原因があるのではないかと考えるに至った.そこで本研究では,話し言葉固有の性質による読みにくさを含む字幕を読んでいるときの眼球運動を測定し,読返しの多さを定量的に調べると同時に,どのような表現部分の文章認知が困難であったかについて,被験者への聞き取りデータと合わせて実証的に明らかにすることを試みた.

世界最小の19nmのデザインルールを用いて64Gb多値(2bit/cell)NANDフラッシュメモリを開発した。片側All-bit-Line S/A構成、1plane構成によりチップサイズは112.8mm^2。ビット線バイアスアクセラレーション及び"BC"State-First書込みアルゴリズムにより、書き込みパフォーマンスは15MB/sを実現。プログラムサスペンド機能とイレーズサスペンド機能により、リードレイテンシー時間は大幅に短縮。400Mb/s/pin 1.8Vの高速Toggle mode InterfaceをNANDフラッシュメモリとしては初めて搭載した。

The purpose of this paper is to investigate how Neo liberalism has developed in Japan since the latter half of the 1970 s and to clarify its distinctive features from a critical viewpoint. I examine the notion of "Neo-liberalism", the development of economic policies based upon Neo-liberalism, their economic background and two particular policies as a case study (the resort development policy and the nursing care insurance system). These studies indicate that Neo-liberalism in the 1990s was quite different from that in the 1980s. The 1980s version called for "rethinking the public and private sector", but had still remained immature. By contrast, the 1990s version has developed on a full scale during the 1990s, prompted by the multinationalization of leading Japanese enterprises after the Plaza accord. In conclusion, (1) recent Neo liberalism is not founded on the notion of "socio-liberalism", which requires complete freedom of thought, but on that of "economic liberalism", which attaches great importance to a public order based upon "efficiency" ; (2) it is a naive "market fundamentalism" or "libertarianism" which will not take into account the work of J. Rawls, R. Nozick, A. Sen and other liberalists ; (3) in the field of regional development policy Neo-liberalism has induced "rent seeking" and has increased expenditures on public works, but has also had a tendency to release the public sector from its responsibilities for welfare services.

多くの研究者が共同で利用する大型計算機システムでは、利用者の保存ファイルおよびセンターの提供するデータベースの容量は、増加の一途を辿っている。しかし、すべてのファイルが毎日参照されるわけではなく、3ケ月から数ケ月間まったく参照されないファイルもある。このような状況に対して、ファイルの階層化が採用されるのが通常である。ここでは、京都大学大型計算機センターで導入した利用者保存ファイルに対する階層ファイルの構成・概念と運用について述べる。さらに、利用者保存ファイルのバックアップとリカバリの方式についても述べる。
