本研究は,若者のストーカー被害の実態調査を行ったその報告である。警察庁によれば,ストーカー被害相談が増加している。特に被害者の4割が20代であるが,以前より暗数が多いことが指摘されていた。そこで,大学と警察が協力し,県内の大学生を対象にストーカー被害の実態調査を行った。その結果,7人に1人が被害にあっていることが判明した。

現在の和服姿における帯の代表的な容(かたち)である「お太鼓結び」について、その結び方の歴史とその構造がどのように現在に至るまで変化してきたのかを明らかにする。そしてなぜ、長い年月を経た今もなお「お太鼓結び」が帯結びの典型で継続しているのかについて、江戸時代末期と現在の帯型の類型を比較し実際に帯を締める実践研究を行うことにより、その社会的・機能的要因を論じる。

Ultrasound transmission gel has been normally used as a material fills the gap between the transducer of the ultrasound and patient’s skin. Alternatively, however, it can be used as a trial bioink for the 3D bio-printer, which is identified as one material for checking its printability at the preliminary phase. The purpose of this study was to clarify whether the ultrasound transmission gel can be used as the trial bioink. For this purpose, we investigated the viscosity of some kinds of the ultrasound transmission gel, and compared with commercially available one. And also we measured the width of the printed lines with the ultrasound transmission gel in comparison with the perspective width. According to our results, we concluded that the ultrasound transmission gel can be used as the trial bioink as long as selecting appropriate viscosity type.

Patient Experience(PX)は,医療サービスに関する患者の具体的な「経験」を意味する概念であり,Patient Satisfaction(PS)の進化形として,国際的に重要な医療の質指標に位置付けられている.PXの意義に関しては,すでに国内外で多くのエビデンスの蓄積があり,PXが,技術的な医療の質指標と正の関連を示すことに加え,アドヒアランス,セルフマネジメント,受療行動といった患者行動などにも影響を及ぼすことが報告されている.行政機関主導でPXの活用を推進する諸外国と比較し,日本のPX評価の取り組みは,これまで大きく遅れをとっていたが,近年日本でもPX尺度の開発研究やPXを用いた実証研究が活発化しつつある.今後日本でも,医療の質向上のため,幅広い領域かつ臨床・教育・研究の各方面で,PXの評価・活用を推進する必要がある.

After a brief description about the ill-posed inverse problems which are discretized with the finite element method etc., a method for solving such problems is presented with a practical example. This method consists of the following procedures. 1. The singular value decomposition of the coefficient matrix is performed, and then the rank is appropriately reduced. 2. A set of solutions is represented by Moore-Penrose's solution and the null space. 3. The solution is obtained by fuzzy reasoning using the set of solutions and sets of fuzzy priori information. Following three studies are presented: a study which the Kalman filtering technique is applied to estimate the material parameters of two nonlinear constitutive equations, A method for obtaining the optimal experimental/measurement procedure for general estimation problems, and a method (GA filter) for non-linear state space estimation using genetic algorithm.

After World War I, the University Act was issued in 1918. By the Act, Medical colleges became Medical Universities and private Medical Universities were constructed, so the facilities of education and study were very prepared. The system of doctor's offices was established by the University Degree Act in 1920. The layout and floor planning of the hospitals affiliated with medical department developed. For instance, the outpatient functions were independent as Tokyo Imperial University and many other Universities. For another example, each clinic was completely independent as Kyoto Imperial University and Kyushu Imperial University and Chiba University where educatinal, researches, treatment, outpatients and hospitalization functions were gathered under the lecture systems. Regarding the treatment facilities, X-ray rooms and physical therapy rooms developed in each independent clinic. These independence of the outpatient functions and centralization of some treatment facilities mean that clinics were partly failed in their independence. Concerning the hospitalization facilities, central corridor type and large open patient room with simple partition increased as the types of wards. And patient's living functions were improved. Muscular dystrophy is genetic muscle diseases following with progressive muscle weakness. Duchenne muscular dystrophy (DMD) is the most common form of muscular dystrophy, and the gene responsible for DMD was identified by using a positional cloning technique in 1986. Since the discovery of DMD gene, our understanding on the structure of dystrophin protein, dystrophin–associated protein complexes or pathogenesis has dramatically improved. These knowledges obtained by DMD research have provided the basis for potential therapies, and have particularly contributed to the development of therapies targeting mRNA and genomic DNA. Exon–skipping therapy using antisense nucleic acid (AON) targeting pre–mRNA has been successfully correct out–of–frame mRNAs to produce in–frame transcripts by removing an exon during splicing, with the restoration of functionally preserved dystrophin protein, and is currently approved in US and Japan. Recent advances in genetic analysis techniques including next–generation sequencing (NGS) have made it possible to identify many causative genes and proteins, to diagnose multiple types of muscular dystrophies and to develop potential therapies. In addition to DMD, novel technologies have contributed to the elucidation of pathogenesis in several muscular diseases including myotonic dystrophy (DM), Fukuyama congenital muscular dystrophy (FCMD), GNE myopathy and MELAS, paving the way for clinical research and drug discovery. We hope that further innovation will encourage the progress of basic research, and contribute to breakthrough for the development of therapies for non–curable diseases.

The aim of this research is to make it clear how the custom of retirement from the headship of family has been succeeded and changed in the rural area of the Western Japan. The summary of this research is as follows; The custom of retirement from the headship of family has been succeeded, because the separate living type has been shown in over 60 percent of the examined families in each district. But the percentage of the separate living type differs in districts. In some districts, the ratio has been decreasing. That means that the principles of living and economic independence have been collapsing. In other words, the custom of retirement from the headship of family has shown the aspect of the diversification. The decrease of living in the separate house in the same lot results from the aging of the parents, the decline of the self-support ability, and the decline of financial ability. Most of the family hopes to live in the separated houses. In which, the mutual interference can be avoided. Still, some old parents hope to live together.

目的:学士課程における血圧測定に関する教育プログラム開発に向けて,看護基礎教育における教育上の課題を明らかにすることを目的とした。方法:新人看護師4名を対象としてグループインタビューによってデータ収集を行い,質的帰納的に分析した。結果:課題として,〈血圧に関する生体機能の理解〉〈バイタルサイン測定の目的の理解〉〈血圧測定方法の基本的原理の理解〉〈血圧測定に関する科学的判断に基づく援助〉〈血圧測定を受ける患者の心情に配慮したかかわり方〉〈血圧測定時に患者に触れることの意味の理解〉〈電子血圧計の原理と特性の理解〉の7つが明らかになった。結論:血圧測定に関する知識・技術を1~2年次だけでなく,3~4年次の臨地実習前および卒業前に再度学習し評価する新たな教育方法の必要性やリフレクションの有用性が示され,教育プログラム開発に貢献できる可能性が示唆された。

Tomato (Solanum lycopersicum) has been regarded as a model of plants that bear fleshy fruits, and of plants belonging to Solanaceae family. Various resources have been developed to elucidate the mechanisms underlying control of fruit quality as well as quantity, and also to elucidate how genomic diversity links to phenotypic diversity. The tomato reference genome sequence published in 2012 uncovered the evolutionary history of tomato genome which conferred functional diversity to tomato genes. Availability of various tomato variety has huge potential to elucidate the correlation between DNA sequence and phenotype in high resolution by comparative genome analysis. In this mini-review, I will first overview what we have learned from the tomato genome sequencing followed by a deluge of genome resequencing. In the second part, I will briefly refer to the post-genome perspectives in tomato research, with a specific focus on the use of tomato plant in the development of New Plant Breeding Techniques.

The crocodilian caudal vertebra is obtained from the Tsubusagawa Formation. Its size is same and its gross shape is resemblance to the 20th caudal vertebra of Crocodylus porosus, NTM R16036, total length for 513 cm. However, in comparison with NTM R16036, the direction of neural spine is more dorsocaudal, and the M. longissimus caudae and M. semispinalis caudae might be more developed in the Tsubusagawa specimen. With respects to the hitherto regarding crocodilian fauna, the Tsubusagawa specimen is identified to the crocodyline crocodylid, Toyotamaphimeia machikanensis. The caudal vertebrae are preserved only three, 1st to 3rd , in the type specimen of T. machikanense, and thus direct comparison with the Tsubusagawa specimen is impossible. According to Chinese classic dictionary by Lu (1174, the 12th Century), the tail of crocodile which may be identified as T. machikanensis is prehensile as if elephant trunk. The posterior condyle of this vertebra is well developed, and thus there is some possibility to support the evidence of prehensile tail. At the early Miocene, T. machikanensis might be derived from crocodyline crocodylid Maomingosuchus petrolicus. T. machikanensis is differ from Maomingosuchus petrolicus in having the largest 7th maxillary teeth and much larger body. The large canini-form development of 7th maxillary teeth is an adaptation for the relatively larger prey. As a larger prey, the presence of oxygasterine cyprinid Hypophthalmichthys (Silver Asian Carp), total length for 1 metre or more, is seemed to be involved with the secondary caniniform development of 7th maxillary teeth and gigantism of Toyotamaphimeia. The oldest fossil record of Toyotamaphimeia is the early Miocene and that of Hypophthalmichthys is too. Hypophthalmichthys is famous for its frequently jumping when disturbed. Although this jumping is hitherto claimed as enigmatic, it could be interpreted as anti-predatory behavior against Toyotamaphimeia.

本研究の目的は,がん治療の副作用による生活上の問題点を感じているがんサバイバーの生活改善を支援するために,問題を解決する生活の知恵を知識モデルとして記述し,患者同士が生活の知恵を共有・活用できるシステムを開発することである.文献や患者インタビューの分析結果に基づいて,行為分解木というオントロジカルな枠組みを援用して,投薬から症状の発現,症状から日常生活における問題点と,それに対する対処方法を,原因—結果の因果連鎖として構造化し,対処方法を分類して,知識モデルとして記述した.記述した知識モデルに基づいて,患者がWebブラウザ上で生活上の問題点から対処方法を閲覧・共有できる知識共有システムのプロトタイプを開発した.本稿では設計思想,プロトタイプの機能と動作などについて報告する.

ASD、ADHDのある大学生に対してDN-CAS認知評価システムを年齢外適用し、知能のPASSモデルに基づく神経心理学的な認知特性ならびに「プランニング」の下位検査遂行中の使用方略の特徴を明らかとすることを目的とした。その結果、ADHD群は「注意」の得点が定型発達学生(TD)群と比べて低く、ADHD群の中核症状である注意制御の困難さを反映したものと考えられた。また、使用方略の特徴について、ADHD群、ASD群ともに「プランニング」の標準得点はTD群との差がみられなかったが、ADHD群では報告方略数が少なく、かつ方略得点が低いことから、方略を意識化して選択し、使用するようなセルフモニタリングの弱さが推察された。また、ASD群では、方略数には差がみられなかったものの、方略得点が低かったことから、TD群の多くが使用する方略とは異なる方略を使用した学生が多かったことを示すものと推察された。

Homeless people have increased in mega cities of developing countries like the Philippines. This article aims to analyze homelessness in Metro Manila. The main focus is devoted to three issues on homelessness: where homeless people come from, where they live in Metro Manila and why they live there.    First, this article analyzes the social processes which bring the needy to the streets using the push-pull hypothesis. It concludes that the squatter area is the biggest source of homeless people. Second, it analyzes the spatial distribution of homeless people. Management and control of public space by the government is strengthened, public space is privatized. As a result, squatter areas in public space are evicted from the inner-city and moved to the suburbs. Without a home many squatters are left behind in the inner-city and pushed to the streets. Thus squatter area is decentralized and homeless people are centralized. Third, it analyzes the politics behind the occupancy of public space vis-a-vis the government and homeless people. In the developing countries, public space has been seen as the pseudo-public space which can be occupied conventionally by the needy. However, control of public space is strengthened, demolition of squatter area is implemented, and many people are pushed to the streets. This article analyzes the politics behind the use of public space in relation to the government, the squatter, the vendor and the homeless people. It concludes that homeless people are the most vulnerable in both the occupancy and the elimination of public space. The pseudo-public space is disappearing and hence homeless people are converging with their counterpart in European countries.

腰椎椎間板の感覚神経に関する基礎研究の成果について解説し,椎間板性腰痛の臨床を考察した.肉眼解剖学的には椎間板に枝を出す末梢神経は洞椎骨神経,灰白交通枝,交感神経幹である.組織学的・免疫組織化学的・電気生理学的に線維輪最外層に侵害受容線維が存在し,椎間板病変が急性痛の原因となることが証明された.感覚線維が由来する後根神経節は,椎間板背側部では当該分節,腹側部ではL2,をそれぞれ中心とし,支配レベルは腹側部で7分節,背側部で9分節に及ぶ.本構造は神経ブロックや手術に際しては考慮すべきである.交感神経性の感覚線維が主に椎間板背側部に分布し,炎症時の痛みに関与する.椎間板を支配する小型神経細胞では,皮膚に比較してNGF感受性細胞の比率が高い.炎症モデルでは,椎間板炎症部位でNGF感受性線維の発芽,後根神経節でNGF感受性細胞内の神経ペプチドの増加が惹起され,椎間板性疼痛の慢性化に関与すると考えられる.
