The five stone-masonry bridges over the Kotsuki River, which flows along the center of Kagoshima City, have provided a historical outlook to this City. Among them, the Nishida Bridge has ornamental balustrade with beautifully designed balusters and this bridge is very famous as the main gateway bridge of the old Satsuma province. This paper investigates why these stone-masonry bridges were chosen for construction in kagoshima, which lies at the southern edge of Kyusyu, the circumstances of construction of these bridges and so on.

脳卒中患者の短下肢装具装着に着目して,装具の種類と身体機能が装着時間に影響しているのかを明らかにするために本研究を実施した.生活期の脳卒中患者19名に対して,Shoe Horn Braceと継手付短下肢装具,Gait Solution Design (GSD)の3種類の短下肢装具を用いて装着時間を測定した.利き手による影響を確認後,Brunnstrom Recovery Stageごとに各装具の装着時間を算出した結果,継手付短下肢装具が最も装着時間が短く,装具の足関節の可動性の有無と下腿ベルトの位置が装着時間に影響していることが示唆された.GSDは装着のために時間を要し,使用する際は装着指導も必要であった.

In the study of how the Japanese medieval imperial court was actually operated, a concept of "bureaucratic farming" has been offered, and when considering auch an idea, the role played by bureaucratic families (ie 家) becomes very important. In the present paper, the author takes up the Benkan 弁官 and Geki 外記 Bureaus at the time and examines the "medieval family" institution existing among the secretaries (shi 史 and geki) who were responsible for the everyday operations of these two bureaus, focussing on the establishment of families as managerial units and primogeniture succession from fathers to sons, especially the political status corresponding to the establishment of main branches and their exclusive inheritance of family wealth. Section one traces the split that occurred in the head of the Benkan secretaries, the Ozuki 小槻 family, into the Mibu 壬生 and Omiya 大宮 lines in relation to the formation process of the "medieval family." As a result, the author shows that the establishment of these two lines into "ie" was finalized in 1273 after several generations of dividing up the official family genealogy. Section two turns to secretarial head of the Geki Bureau, the Nakahara 中原 family, showing the transformation of an ancient uji 氏 (clan) into a medieval ie. Section three examines changes that gradually occurred from the fourteenth century on in the sixth levels of subordinate bureaucrats working at the two bureaus in response to abovementioned changes in secretarial head families, showing that in contrast to their superiors, who were also active as scholarly (hakase 博士) families, these subordinate government officials became an independent class of job-oriented professionals. The author concludes that it was during the late Kamakura era that a transformation occurred in the staff organization of the Benkan and Geki Bureaus, which formed the nucleus of medieval court day to day operations What remains to be studied, then, is the relationship of actual bureaucratic duties to such organizational changes.

港町新潟の町づくりが本格化するのは、元和2年 (1616) に堀直寄が長岡藩主になり、その支配を受けるようになってからのことと考えられる。それ故、本論では、これ以降の江戸時代の新潟を取りあげている。そして、そこにみられるいくつかの町づくりおよび町の特徴を取りだして報告している。第一は、白山神社を南の基点とし、日和山を北の基点に位置づけて、町づくりがおこなわれたのではないかということである。第二は、新潟の町割は1ブロック2行の短冊型の町割で、1行の奥行は約25間と推定され、各戸の敷地の間口は4間を基本にしていたと考えられることである。第三は、亨保と天保の地子高の資料により、当時の地価の状態をみると、信濃川から離れるほど低くなっていて、町の経済は信濃川に大きく依存していたことがわかることである。

<p>【はじめに、目的】頸部姿勢保持筋の異常筋緊張をもつ患者おいて,うつ症状だけでなく運動に対するネガティブ感情(恐怖,つらい)を持っていることが多い.そのため頭頸部姿勢保持筋の筋機能異常は感情と関連すると考えられてきた.しかしながらそれらを示す検討はない.感情と姿勢保持筋の関連を明らかにすることは,感情と筋制御の関連を示す基礎的知見となる.そこで本研究では健常成人を対象に感情が頭頸部姿勢保持筋に与える影響について検討することを目的とした.</p><p>【方法】顔面神経麻痺などの既往のない健常成人学生19名(男性11名,女性8名)を対象とした.実験1としてポジティブ映像(笑い①,笑い②),ネガティブ映像(高所,恐怖,つらい)をランダムに見せ,その間の表情筋(大頬骨筋,皺眉筋,咬筋)および頸部姿勢保持筋(後頸筋群,肩甲挙筋,僧帽筋,胸鎖乳突筋)の筋活動を表面筋電図によって計測し,目的とする感情が得られたかをVASにより記録した.またEMGデータはフィルタ処理,二乗平方根平滑化処理を行い,安静時の各筋活動のRMSを基に正規化した.実験2では,笑い・怒り・つらいの3つの表情を各被験者にランダムにとらせ,その際の表情筋および頭頸部の筋活動を実験1同様に記録した.また実験1,2において姿勢が頭頸部の筋活動に影響しないよう姿勢は固定し,頭頸部の姿勢を矢状面上より撮影し,姿勢が崩れた場合はその試技を除外し,試間での姿勢評価を行った.各実験で得られたiEMG,姿勢に対し一元配置分散分析を行い,有意差のあった項目に対して多重比較検定を行った.有意水準はいずれも0.05未満とした.</p><p>【結果】実験1の結果から,ポジティブな動画を見た際に大頬骨筋,咬筋,胸鎖乳突筋が有意に増加した(p<0.05).またネガティブな動画を見た際に皺眉筋(p<0.05)が有意に増加した.実験2の結果から大頬骨筋,咬筋,胸鎖乳突筋は笑いの表情を作ることで,また皺眉筋が怒りの表情を作ることでそれぞれ有意に増加した(p<0.05). また実験1,実験2の笑い,つらいに頭頸部の筋活動で有意な差を認めなかった.また各実験間で実験1,2前後の姿勢に有意な変化は認めなかった.</p><p>【結論(考察も含む)】本実験の結果から,感情の有無が頭頸部筋活動に影響を示さないことが明らかになった.このことから,感情変化に伴う姿勢や頭頸部の筋緊張の増加は短期的ではなく長期的,また二次的に発生するものであること考えられる.このことは頸部姿勢保持筋の過緊張とネガティブ感情を持つ患者に対する理学療法アプローチとして,感情にではなく,姿勢保持筋に対する姿勢改善や体操などの運動療法がより重要であるという基礎的知見を示すものである.</p><p>【倫理的配慮,説明と同意】本研究はヘルシンキ宣言に従い,実験を行うにあたり事前に全対象者に対して本実験内容,趣旨,データの取り扱いについて十分に説明を行い,紙面にて同意を得た上で実験を行った.</p>

本研究は、知的障害者施設成人入所者の栄養アセスメントに活用できる、性・年齢階級別のパーセンタイル値を含む身体計測値の基準データを提示することを目的とした。調査時点で正式登録のあった全国の知的障害者入所全施設(1,950施設)に対し、年齢階級(30歳代から50歳代)、性、原疾患、日常生活自立度、身長、調査時点の体重、1年前の体重、5年前の体重のカルテ調査を依頼した。最終的に188施設から5,371名分の回答が得られ、調査内容に欠損のない4,903名(男性2,643名、女性2,260名)を解析対象とした。日常生活自立度は、約88%が「自立」から「A1」のおおむね1人で活動できる者であった。調査時点での身長、体重データから、男性では、過体重(BMI≧25kg/m2)16%、低体重(同<18.5)13%、女性では過体重27%、低体重12%であった。てんかん、精神遅滞・発達障害を原疾患に持つサブグループのBMI分布は、全体のBMI分布と比べ大きな差は見られなかった。5年前の体重を用いた後ろ向きデータから、中年期において男女いずれも体重が5年間で3%前後減少する傾向が見られ、健常者中年期の年齢変化による体重推移とは対照的であった。これらの結果から、知的障害者に対する栄養支援の重要性が示唆された。

This article presents the results of an empirical study of the word "Riben"日本(Jpn: Nippon; hi-no-moto)appearing in the epitaph of Ni Jun 禰軍 (613-678), a native of the Korean kingdom of Baekje, discovered in 2011 in Xi'an, the site of the Tang Dynasty capital of Chang'an. In this epitaph, which extols Ni's most prominent achievements, there is an item concerning his success in persuading a foreign "would-be emperor" to subject himself as a tributary of the Tang Dynasty, and the word "Riben" appears at the beginning of the item. Researchers to date have been of the opinion that the name of the Japanese archipelago kingdom of "Nippon" was formulated by the Asuka-Kiyomihara Ryo 飛鳥浄御原令 code enacted between 681-687, and firmly established in the Taiho Ryo 大宝令 code of 701; however, due to the fact that Ni Jun died in the year 678, it is now necessary to reconsider this assumption. The historian Tono Haruyuki has argued that the "Riben" in the epitaph of Ni Jun is not the name of a specific kingdom, but rather a term indicating the Far East, in general, and the territory of Baekje, in particular. The author of this paper attempts to refute such an idea by a detailed study of the text of the epitaph, leading him to the conclusion that "Riben" does in fact refer to the Japanese reading of "hi-no-moto ひのもと" for the Chinese characters日本 and surely indicates the archipelago kingdom.

This paper reconsiders the relation between Iliad and Aethiopis from a perspective that is different from previous studies by examining whether the Iliad is modeled on stories of Aethiopis. 1. Three-fourths of all the 18 characters (13 characters), excluding the ones who died and Nestor from the 22 characters who appear in the funeral games in honor of Patroklos, Iliad 23.257–897, are included among the 30 warriors of the wooden horse in Quintus Smyrnaeus’s Posthomerica 12.314–32 (11 participants of the games except two who died and Agamemnon are included among the 30 warriors). Moreover, among these 11 participants, Epeios (a builder of the wooden horse) appears only in the funeral games of Patroklos, while four other participants (Eumelos, Euryalos, Polypoites, and Leonteus) do not play an active role in Iliad. This paper focuses on the abovementioned points, by examining the references that Quintus used, and it suggests that the poem (Aethiopis ?) used as a source by the poet of the funeral games of Patroklos and the story about the warriors of the wooden horse were originally closely related. 2. This paper examines previous discussions on the chronological relation between the funeral games of Achilleus and those of Patroklos, and indicates that Achilleus’ funeral games were older than Patroklos’ funeral games. Furthermore, it suggests the possibility of the latter having been composed around 600 B.C., based on previous research on the linguistic and stylistic analysis of the texts as well as inquiries into the old customs of funeral games and the development of the athletic games in ancient Greece. Because of the abovementioned analysis, this paper considers that the poet of the funeral games of Patroklos borrowed the stories of Achilleus, which is related to the wooden horse. In conclusion, the paper claims that the poet of Iliad was influenced by stories ofAethiopis composed by Arktinos whose Iliu Persis (Sack of Troy) depicted the active roles of the warriors of the wooden horse.

睡眠は, 大脳の進化とともに発達してきた. 睡眠は疲れたから眠るといった消極的な生理機能でなく, 「脳を創り, 育て, より良く活動させる」積極的な機能がある. さらに, 記憶や運動技能を向上させる能動的な生理活動がなされる時間でもある.睡眠呼吸障害では, 睡眠中の呼吸努力により覚醒反応が生じ, 睡眠の分断化が起こり, 睡眠が障害される. 小児睡眠呼吸障害では, 睡眠が障害されるために成長ホルモン分泌が障害され, 成長障害が生じる. さらに, 知能低下, 学業成績不良, 夜尿, 注意欠陥, 多動, 攻撃性, などの多くの問題を生じる. 知能低下の説明として, 最近では成長ホルモンに関連してIGF-1の関与が注目されている.小児睡眠呼吸障害の原因として多数を占めるのは, アデノイド・口蓋扁桃肥大であるが, 最近ステロイド点鼻を軽症から中等症の睡眠時無呼吸例で鼻閉の改善とアデノイド縮小効果を期待して, 適用する治療法の有効性が多く報告されている.

The Yasukuni Shrine has been a privileged device of wars and nationalism inmodern Japan and as such it remains today a focus of both national and international conflicts. The problems of this shrine are, on the one hand, to be considered as those of national worship of fallen soldiers which is common to modern nationstates in general, but on the other hand, they have particular Japanese features which are concerned with State-Shintoism.In this article, I examin these problems successively from four points of view. That is, (1) the worship of Japanese war criminals, (2) the constitutional principle of the separation of religion and politics, (3) the enshrining of the fallen soldiers who were mobilized from Korea and Taiwan by the Imperial Japan, and (4) the alternative idea of the new secular momument for national mourning of fallen soldiers.Finally, I would like to question the system of a nation-state which requires the sacrifices of its members, that is, the nation-state as civil religion.

JJ1 type austenitic stainless steel is emerging as the preferred structural material for superconducting magnet casings to operate at liquid helium temperature (4K). In order to evaluate the cryogenic fracture toughness and the temperature rise of tangsten inertgas (TIG) weld in 200 mm thick forged JJ1 type austenitic stainless steel plate for fusion reactor magnets of the next generation, elastic-plastic fracture toughness (JIC) tests were performed with 1T compact tension specimens at 4K. Testing was conducted in accordance with ASTM standards E813-87 for determining JIC using the unloading compliance technique to monitor crack growth. Au/0.07% Fe -Chromel thermocouples were used to measure the temperature rise near the crack tip. The effects of specimen location and nitrogen content on JIC are examined. Specimens were subjected to scanning electron microscopy (SEM) after fracture testing. The effect of inclusion content on the elastic-plastic fracture toughness parameters (JQ, JIC) is also discussed using optical microscopy and energy dispersive X-ray spectrometer (EDX).
