This paper examines the origin of a postcard addressed to AKEGARASU Haya (暁烏敏), which was inserted in the “Daitoyochizu Sakuin (大東輿地図索引)” in AKEGARAU BUNKO (暁烏文庫:Collection of books by AKEGARASU HAYA), and the information obtained from it. As a result of the investigation, it was found that this postcard was sent to AKEGARASU Haya on November 29, 1936, from OTANI Shoshin (大谷勝眞), a professor of law and literature at Keijo (京城) Imperial University and a priest of Shinshu sect Otani school. The main purpose of the postcard was for OTANI to inform AEGARASU that the distribution of “Chosenshi (朝鮮史:History of Korea)” by the Society for the Editing of Korean History, as requested by AKEGARASU when he visited Keijo, had been realized. By investigating the background of this postcard, we can obtain information about the Oriental historian OTANI Shoshin, information about the distribution of “Chosenshi”, as well as information about AKEGARASUʼs friendships and his book-collecting process. In this sense, this postcard is a valuable resource that will contribute to these studies.

地震発生直後の面的被害推定,あるいは,地震被害想定をより正確に行うことを目的として,建物の構造種別や層数などの建物種別を考慮に入れた建物群を人口データから構築することを試みた.具体的には,人口が集中する都市部ほど非木造建物,非木造高層建物が増えるのではないかと考え,建物種別を木造,9階以下の中低層非木造,10階以上の高層非木造の3つに分類し,1kmメッシュを対象として,関東圏3万メッシュから人口の大小,夜間人口と昼間人口の比を万遍なく網羅するように20メッシュを選んで調査を行い,そのデータを基に,メッシュ当たりのそれぞれの建物種別の棟数を国勢調査による夜間人口,昼間人口から推定する式を構築した.その結果,いずれの場合も高い精度でメッシュ人口からそれぞれのメッシュの建物種別の棟数を推定できることがわかった.ただし,団地など特殊なケースで,推定値が実際の棟数と異なり結果となり,その解決が今後の課題である.

本実験ではサーキットを運転中のプロドライバの前頭前野の脳波活動を高精度携帯型脳波計により計測した. その結果, 単独走行と他車との間に追い越しがある混走では前頭前野のα波とβ波の活動が異なることが示唆された. また, 単独走行のβ波とラップタイムの関係のレース車両開発への応用の可能性を検討した.

To establish the risk-based material engineering, survey of basic concepts on social risk is inevitable. The present study first surveyed the concept of “social risk” based on the basic literatures in the area of STS (Science and Technology Studies). Social rationality is considered as the concept to legitimate the decision making for public problems that even scientists and engineers cannot provide the right answers. Consensus conference, Focus goups, and Science shops are introduced as social devices to construct social rationality for selecting/evaluating the engineering for future society. These concepts and devices are important for construct the future of risk-based material engineering.

写真コミュニケーションを考察するための基礎資料として,カメラと写真の最近までの変化を整理した。戦後の日本において,カメラの世帯普及はほぼ順調に進み,1980年代には80%に達した。自動露出や自動焦点,コンパクト化などにより,撮影者の層が拡大した。使い捨てカメラや現像・焼付けの低価格化などにより,カメラの携帯と撮影の日常化が進んだ。最近では,カメラはデジタル・カメラに移行しつつある。カメラの発展につれて,撮影する/される意識も変化してきた。写真は鑑賞するより撮るもの,撮られる場合はより良く,写真は自分(達)のために,などである。写真は保存するというだけでなく消費するという側面も出てきている。このような新しい写真との関わり方は,若い女性を中心に表れている。携帯電話にカメラが付いたことで,更に写真行動は変化していくものと考えられる。

本研究の目的は、自傷誘発のリスクファクターとされる生物学的基盤を持つ感受性(HSP: Highly Sensitive Person)と親から子に対して不承認的態度をとることが自傷傾向(自傷が行われる可能性の高さ)に影響を与えること、そして、そのパス経路の間には推論の誤りが媒介していることといった自傷発生の感情情報伝達過程の一端を実証的研究により検証することであった。方法として、調査は大学生314名(有効回答者数は298名)を対象に実施し、統計的解析では媒介分析を用いた。結果として、気質的な感受性であるHSPから自傷傾向の間には推論の誤りが部分的に媒介していた。そして、母親不承認を高低(平均±0.5 SD)の2群に分けて比較を行ったところ、低群では、HSPは推論の誤りを部分的に媒介していたのに対し、高群では完全に媒介していることが確認された。したがって、HSPは母親不承認が重なると、より高水準の推論の誤りを導き、その結果、自傷傾向を高めていることが示唆された。

The present study was undertaken to examine whether oral administration of colostrum to mastitic cows reduced inflammation in the udder. Fifty milliliters of a colostrum whey product was administered orally daily for 3 days to cows suffering from mastitis. Milk was collected on day 0 and 7 of colostrum administration. For Experiment 1, milk from 11 udder quarters with high somatic cell counts (SCC) in four cows was used. SCC in milk decreased significantly after colostrum administration, whereas colostrum administration increased sodium and IgA concentrations significantly compared with those before administration. In Experiment 2, cows with clinical mastitis were divided into two groups, with and without colostrum administration, whereas all cows with subclinical mastitis were administered colostrum. Antibiotics were infused into the mammary gland from the first day of colostrum administration for 2–4 days. There was no significant decrease in SCC after colostrum administration in any group. However, udder firmness in both clinical mastitis groups was reduced after administration regardless of colostrum administration. IgA concentration in both clinical mastitis groups was significantly increased after colostrum administration compared to that before administration, although there was no significant difference between them. These results suggest the possibility that oral administration of colostrum attenuates inflammation of the mammary gland. Further studies are required to examine the effect of colostrum more precisely using cows with subclinical and chronic mastitis and longer duration of colostrum administration.

私達は, 音楽リズムを直接パルス波に変換し, 音楽と同調する音楽リズム低周波置鍼療法について従来の低周波置鍼療法との臨床効果を「肩凝り症」に限定して比較検討した。慢性化した肩凝り症の愁訴をもつ50名の患者を対象とし, これらの同一名患者を無作為に (1) 従来の3Hz連続波低周波置鍼療法群 (C群), 音楽の聴こえない音楽リズム低周波置鍼療法 (S群), (3) 音楽リズム低周波置鍼療法 (M群) の3群に分けて, その直後効果と快適度を比較した。治療は, 主に肩背部の圧痛および硬結部を基準とし, 使用鍼30ミリ20号鍼を用い, 音楽の種類は演歌, 通電時間15分とした。治療効果を比較するとM群 (有効率76%) は, C群 (60%), S群 (58%) に比べて約20%の有効率の増加が認められた。なお, 快適度についてもM群が, やや優れている傾向が認められた。すなわち, 音楽リズム低周波置鍼療法は, 音楽を同時に聴かせることが効果上, 心理的にも必要であることが分かった。
