This article deals with the destination image of Otaru, which has several sides and is changing because of the visiting of Chinese tourists. Tourism is planned on the destination image, and is centered on the consumption of the image. Tourists confirm and renew the image on the trip, and finally, will create new image which would affect the tourists’ image reflectively. Internet has especially great influence to the destination image during the process nowadays. Aiming to clarify the destination image of Otaru, the writer uses the actor-network theory and finds Chinese tourists consuming different images from China. The writer will show how the images are consumed and re-produced in tourism examining three cases. Moreover, as seeing new sides of the images, we will figure out the consumption of the destination image works as a network which links the people, things and informations around.

パソコンメールと携帯メールで作成された大学生のレポートについて,それぞれの特徴と相違点を定量的分析から固有の特徴を明らかにした。パソコンメールと携帯メールで作成・提出された講義レポート約1,100 件について,ワープロの文章分析機能を用いて文章・文脈を解析した。諸項目の件数や評価得点を用いて分析・考察した。また,それぞれのレポートから抽出した文章について,印象・情意などを把握し比較するため,複数の観察者を募り,感性評価法を用いて文章・文脈について分析・評価を行った。それらの結果,パソコンと携帯電話では固有の機能上の特徴からキー入力操作や推敲に違いが生じ,それが端的さや理解しやすさなど文章・文脈スタイルに影響していることなどが分かった。This paper describes the investigation of peculiarity and a point of difference between students' reports composed by PC and mobile phone using a quantitative analysis method. Sentences and contexts were analyzed using the sentence analysis function of word processing software on about 1,100 students' subject reports composed and submitted by PC and mobile phone. Analysis and consideration were inquired by frequencies of each item and scores. Also, sentences and contexts were analyzed and evaluated using kansei evaluation method by observers to grasp and compare the impressions and the feelings about the extracted sentences from each students' reports. The results of the study showed that the effect of context and sentence style was effected by typing operation and sentence elaboration from functional characteristic between PC-mail and mobile phone-mail

本研究は、高齢者施設における災害(地震)時の対応、具体的な実践内容を把握することを目的とし、新潟県中越沖地震にて緊急的に避難者を受け入れた特別養護老人ホーム及び福祉避難所となった特別養護老人ホームの2ヶ所の施設管理者を対象に半構成インタビューによる面接調査を実施した。その結果、以下のことが明らかになった。1.利用者及び避難者へ対しては、安全な一時的待機場所へ避難・誘導し、ボランティアと共に日常生活支援を中心に行っていた。ボランティアについては受け入れニーズの把握とコーディネイターの必要性が示唆された。2.職員の勤務体制・緊急招集については、マニュアルの整備に加え状況に応じた判断が求められ、メールを活用した連絡が有効であった。3.状況に合わせた実践的な防災訓練が実施されており、訓練に当たっては施設の構造を踏まえた避難方法及び職員の配置の必要性が示唆された。4.災害時に介護者に必要とされる能力については「状況に合わせた創意工夫のあるケア」「利用者の話をよく聴く姿勢」があげられた。5.施設における災害対策の課題としては、「防災体制の整備と防災意識の向上」「被災経験及び実践内容の伝承」「情報の入手及び共有化の体制整備」「職員のケア」があげられた。福祉避難所の課題としては、「福祉系トリアージの確立」「コーディネイターの養成」「平時からの福祉避難所の選定」があげられた。

黒瀬は八丈島のN20°W約43浬離れた所にあり, 頂上はやや平坦で, 200m以浅の広さが東西8.5km, 南北6kmの小さい礁である。1973年6月と11月及び1974年7月に調査船蒼鷹丸によって礁上の底棲生物採集を行った結果, 20回のドレッヂにより72種の貝類を得た。そのうち約半数が前報の銭洲・瓢箪瀬・高瀬の貝類群と共通なもので, オキナエビスガイ, コナルトボラ, などは比較的頻度が高いものであった。二枚貝類は非常に少なく, 前報の三礁上に多かったミソノナデシコやツヅレノニシキなどのChlamys属は1個体も採集されなかった。従来四国以南(西), 沖縄, 南シナ海方面からしか報告されてなかったコシダカオキナエビス, タミコカンスガイ, ヨシオキヌヅツミガイ, トキオキヌヅツミガイ, ウブダカラガイ, メメイモガイ, マイヒメイモガイなどが黒瀬上から見出され分布上興味がある。しかし, このように分布の中心から隔絶された棲息地では, 種数は著るしく少なくなることが予想される。特筆すべき種としてはコシダカオキナエビスガイは従来相模∿伊豆に分布中心をもつオキナエビスの紀伊∿九州方面の生態的等位者と思われていたが, 黒瀬上では両者ともすんでいることが判った。又, アケボノダカラガイの産地がミッドウェーとなっているが, 恐らくこの付近であろうとされていた推論が裏付けられた。Fusolatirus kuroseanusホソニシキニナ(新種)はカンダニシキニナに似るが細く色もうすく, 水管溝が細長い点で一見して区別される。Cuspidaria kurodaiセノシャクシガイ(新種)はやや細長く腹縁は直線的で嘴状部は太短かく, 丸く終り, この上に殻皮皺がある。

本研究は、アジア太平洋戦争中の小笠原諸島(父島・母島および周辺の島々)および硫黄諸島(火山列島)において強制疎開の対象となり(ただし住民の一部は現地で軍務動員)、敗戦後も故郷喪失状態に置かれ続けた人びとが、自分たちの置かれたディアスポラ状況にどのように対応してきたのかを、文献資料調査とインタビュー調査に基づいて、歴史社会学的観点から検討した。

Energy environmental education is an important matter to establish a sustainable society. Technology innovations or social improvements must be supported by education to achieve the most performance. Numerical evaluation of people's behavior changes caused by education is important to analyze the effects of education and to improve educational methods. In this study the mothers were chosen as monitors for the behavior analyses. Monitor's significant behavior changes as power consumption reductions after the energy environmental workshop were obtained from the daily energy consumption data collection by themselves. The changes are analyzed numerically using the residuals of multi-regression analyses; the explanatory variables are weather data and activity time in the house of whole monitor families. The maximum percentage decrease of power consumption after workshop was 22%. In this study it is found that detailed data collections of lives make it possible to evaluate numerically the behavioral changes of the people.

JR目黒駅近くのショッピングセンターに入居する「ももちゃんナーサリー目黒ルーム」(東京都品川区)。毎日55人前後の子供を預かるこの保育所が、自治体などが運営する認可保育所と大きく異なるのは、子供たちの顔ぶれの2割が日々変わることだ。 「毎日同じ子供だけ預かる方が、よほど楽。でも必要な時に預ける場所がなくて、困っている母親はたくさんいる」。

Interleukin 18 (IL-18) plays an important role in the T-helper-cell type 1 immune response against intracellular parasites, bacteria, and viral infections. It has been widely used as an adjuvant for vaccines and as an anticancer agent. However, IL-18 protein lacks a typical signal sequence and requires cleavage into its mature active form by caspase 1. In this study, we constructed mammalian expression vectors carrying cDNA encoding mature canine IL-18 (cIL-18) or mouse IL-18 (mIL-18) fused to the human IL-2 (hIL-2) signal sequence. The expressed proIL-18 proteins were processed to their mature forms in the cells. The supernatants of cells transfected with these plasmids induced high interferon-γ production in canine peripheral blood mononuclear cells or mouse splenocytes, respectively, indicating the secretion of bioactive IL-18. Using reverse genetics, we also generated a recombinant canine distemper virus that expresses cIL-18 or mIL-18 fused to the hIL-2 signal sequence. As expected, both recombinant viruses produced mature IL-18 in the infected cells, which secreted bioactive IL-18. These results indicate that the signal sequence from hIL-2 is suitable for the secretion of mature IL-18. These recombinant viruses can also potentially be used as immunoadjuvants and agents for anticancer therapies in vivo.

The 2.25CrMoV steel is applied to conventional combined high-pressure (HP) and low-pressure (LP) rotor forging, and it has excellent creep properties and toughness at 538℃ conventional steam temperature. However, at 566℃ steam temperature, it is required to improved the properties of the rotor forgings. The effects of chemistry on toughness and creep rupture strength have been investigated on the 9CrMoV base materials for the purpose of developing a new HP-LP rotor material for 566℃ steam temperature. Thus 9.8Cr1.4Mo1.0NiVNbN steel, named HLP9F, with higher toughness and creep rupture strength compared with conventional 2.25CrMoV steel, has been developed. A trail HP-LP rotor forging with the diameter of LP section of 1800mm and that of HP section of 1200mm has successfully been manufactured through the VCD process from 68t ingot. In spite of a large ingot, neither chemical composition change nor eutectic Nb(C, N) formation could be recognized. The rotor, furthermore, exhibited satisfactory quality in toughness and creep rupture strength. This rotor material is suitable to the HP-LP rotor material for advanced combined cycle steam turbine.
