本稿の目的は、①石黒忠悳談『乃木式義手』、②乃木式義手を装着して煙草を吸う癈兵の写真葉書、③ドレスデン衛生博覧会の乃木式義手に関する解説文の独文和訳、といった史料を紹介することを通じて、乃木希典、石黒忠悳、「癈兵」の三者のかかわりを問い直すことである。このうち、①②は学習院大学図書館所蔵「乃木文庫」、③は陸上自衛隊衛生学校「彰古館」に所蔵されている。乃木式義手とは、日露戦争で両腕切断された「癈兵」のために、従来にない「能動義手」を作ろうという陸軍大将・乃木希典の想いに動かされて、新たに制作された義肢である。乃木式義手は明治44(1911)年のドレスデン衛生博覧会にも出品された。従来の医学史研究では、乃木式義手は実用に適さないものとして低く評価されてきた。本稿では、医学史的な評価からいったん離れて、乃木と石黒と癈兵との心的な繫がりを強調し、乃木とそれを取り巻く人々と史料のなかで、乃木式義手の意義を捉えなおしたい。The purpose of this paper is to present some historical materials concerning the Nogi Style artificial arm that enabled soldiers to hold goods. It was invented by Nogi Maresuke(General of the Army, president of the Gakushuin)and Ishiguro Tadanori(Surgeon General)in the Meiji Period for the soldiers wounded in the Russo-Japanese War(1904─05). In this paper, the author discusses the following three sources: (1)The pamphlet titled "Nogi Shiki Gisyu"(the Nogi Style artificial arm)gifted by Ishiguro Tadanori to Nogi. This document explains how and why Nogi and Ishiguro invented the Nogi Style artificial arm ("Nogi Collection" in Gakushuin University Library). (2)The postcard of a half-length photograph of a wounded soldier with the Nogi Style artificial arm ("Nogi Collection" in Gakushuin University Library). (3)The German explanatory note for the Nogi Style artificial arm in the catalogue titled "Dainihon Teikoku Mokuroku"(The exhibition catalogue of the Empire of Japan), when the artificial arm was displayed in the Japanese Pavilion of International Hygiene Exhibition, Dresden, 1911. This document is now at the Shoko-Kan attached to Japan Ground Self-Defense Force Medical School. These historical materials reveal both the sympathy of Nogi for the wounded soldiers, and also the communications between Nogi, Ishiguro, and the wounded soldiers during the Meiji Period.

Large amount of radioactive cesium was emitted from the TEPCO Fukushima Dai-ichi nuclear power plant by the accident into atmospheric air, and a part of the radioactivity was brought to the ground by rain and snowfall. The Yamakiya district in Kawamata-machi, Fukushima is specified as the prepared evacuation zone. The authors collected wild mushrooms in this district as samples in 2012, 2013 and 2014. The concentration of radioactive cesium was measured by means of the hyperpure germanium semiconductor detector. The concentrations were ranged from 35 to 600,000 Bq/kg, and were different with points of sampling and kinds. The transfer coefficient of radioactive cesium to most wild mushrooms are lower than 0.5, although some mushroom species concentrate environmental radioactive cesium more than twice.

創設から2年を経過し,2017年度末には543機関が参加する機関リポジトリコミュニティとなったJPCOARの様々な活動から,オープンアクセスの先端的機能の開発を担うタスクフォースにおける活動と国際会議での発表等,国際的な連携の活動を中心に報告する。このことにより,学術コミュニケーションをめぐる国際的な研究環境の変化の中で,機関リポジトリを核として,大学図書館が果たすべき役割を考察する。

本研究の目的は,東アジア圏における多層言語環境での複言語主義的な言語政策や人材育成の必要性の考察である。香港では多層言語環境が人々に日本と異なる影響を与えている。言語とコミュニケーション,言語教育政策と学習者,教育と技術の三つの視点からその影響を見ることで,多層言語環境化する日本が考えるべき問題を洞察した。日本がモノリンガル社会の心的制約を克服して,複言語主義的社会モデルに移行し,複数言語を行き来する態度と能力を持つトランスランゲージング的人材を育成するための知見が得られた。本研究の研究成果は,研究成果報告書(250頁)として編集・印刷された。

This paper explores the politics of sexuality issues (sexuality politics) between the government and the LGBT movement in Malaysia since the 1980s. The Malaysian LGBT movement has faced repressive government policies and discrimination from society. However, some LGBT movements in the post-Mahathir era, such as Seksualiti Merdeka, Justice for Sisters, and Pelangi, have associated with the other NGOs and social movements and actively advocated the protection of LGBT people's human rights in public spaces. This paper explores when and how sexuality politics between the state and the LGBT movement appeared in Malaysia. Four incidents or moments were found to be important for the birth of sexuality politics in Malaysia: Islamization since the 1980s, the Asian Values discourse during the Mahathir administration, the HIV/AIDS epidemic, and the sodomy court case of Anwar Ibrahim. In the post-Mahathir era, the state has introduced new ways of repressing LGBT people, while the LGBT movements have also adopted new strategies.

本研究の目的は,ラーニングコモンズの物理的環境が利用者の創造性に与える影響を検討することであった.具体的には,48名の大学生を対象に,創造性課題と作業課題をラーニングコモンズと自習スペースの2つの学習環境で実施し,それらの環境によって課題成績に差がみられるかどうかを検討した.あわせて,それぞれの学習環境の用途や期待される学習効果に関する情報を提示する影響とラーニングコモンズの利用経験の影響を検討した.その結果,ラーニングコモンズでは,その利用経験がある群において創造性課題の成績がより高いことが示された.また,学習環境に関する情報を提示することによって,いずれの学習環境においても作業課題の成績が低下することが示された.以上の結果を踏まえて,ラーニングコモンズの物理的環境の効果やその他の要因も含めた適切な学習環境の設計や運用について考察し,自律的・協調的な学びを効果的に行うための示唆を得た.

大学進学行動の地域格差の規定要因について,北海道の市町村データを用い経済的観点から分析を行った.本稿での条件では,(1)地域の所得や学歴は男性の大学進学行動へ影響を及ぼし,その影響は1年前よりも3年前の方が大きい,(2)地域産業の影響も大きい,(3)経済的要因以外に,大学等進学率が上がりにくい地域特有の要因があることが示唆された.
