アジア経済研究所図書館では,50年以上にわたって開発地域の統計資料を網羅的に収集してきた。本稿では,これら資料の収集方法,コレクションの特色,整備・提供方法を説明するとともに,これまでの蔵書構築等を通じて把握してきた開発途上地域の公式統計の整備・公開状況と最近の動向について報告する。また,国際機関による国際比較統計の編纂状況と近年のオープン・データ政策について簡単に概説する。参考資料として主要な国際機関の統計情報一覧と調べ方ガイドを掲載する。

This paper is partial product of ethnographic research at an elementary school. It deals with a teacher's evaluation behavior in classroom. Currently, most grade teachers don't make achievement test by themselves, but use ready-made "gyosha-test", which is standardized all over Japan. And in classroom I observed, pupils'grades on report cards are mostly determined on the basis of these results. The purpose of this paper is to describe mechanisms which lead a teacher to adopt the results of "gyosha-test" as a main criterion of grading report cards. I analyze this teacher's behavior from the following three view points. First, a teacher's evaluation is restricted by the present environmental conditions at school. Second, it's the most fundamental point, this teacher's evaluation behavior is based on his layer knowledge in everyday life. Third,a teacher prepares his assertion which can remove some conflicts caused by this present evaluation behavior.

トマトにおける葉の光合成速度および転流•分配の経時的変化と葉の物質生産に対する寄与度について検討するため<sup>14</sup>CO<sub>2</sub>を用いて実験を行った.<br>1). 第3葉と第7葉 (花房直下葉) の光合成速度は若い葉で高く, 発育するに従って低下した. しかしながら, 1葉当たりの光合成量は葉面積の増加度の高い間は増加し, 葉面積の増加が鈍化すると減少し, 葉の完全展開直前に最大になった.<br>2). 各葉の基本的なソース•シンク関係はその葉の近くの非光合成器官 (根や果実) をメインのシンクとし, 作物の生育ステージごとに, シンク間の発育程度の違いによるシンク間の競合と位置関係によって光合成産物の分配パターンは決定されることが示唆された.<br>3). 全葉の全光合成量からシンクにおける物質生産に対する各葉の寄与度を計算し, 果実では2~4枚の葉で果実の物質生産の60~80%を賄っていることならびに1枚の葉の最大限の寄与度は30%前後であるものと推定した.<br>4). 葉はその葉齢や個体のステージによってその光合成能および各シンクに対する寄与度を変化させていくこと, その変化の最大の要因は果実の肥大量および速度とみられ, そのシンクのメインのソース葉の光合成量と転流率のピークもそのシンクの旺盛な生長時に一致するものと考えれる.

1) Seventy days peritoneal dialysis was performed for seven months in a thirty year old woman who was suffering from acute renal failure following 'cold wave' neutralizer (potassium bromate) poisoning. After twenty two days of total anuria and twenty days of oliguria, urine flow resumed and creatinine clearance increased to a level of 6.5ml/min. on the one hundred and twenty-ninth day. However, she needed periodic peritoneal dialysis. Mental disorder (schizophrenia) found out since the fourtieth day and loss of hearing disturbed the treatment. Finally she died of chronic renal failure on the two hundred and seventh day at a mental hospital. 2) Thirteen cases of potassium bromate poisoning were reported in Japan and seven cases died of renal failure (mortality rate, 54%). 3) Eight cases among fourteen survivors with prolonged oliguria for more than three weeks recovered renal function sufficient to maintain usual life.

We investigated for the first time the prevalence of avian haemosporidia of genera Plasmodium, Haemoproteus, and Leucocytozoon among birds and mosquitoes on Tsushima Island of Japan, which is located between Japan and the Korean Peninsula. Of 55 wild birds belonging to 33 species, 16 (29.1%) tested positive for haemosporidia as follows: Plasmodium spp. (11/55; 20.0%); Haemoproteus spp. (2/55; 3.6%); and Leucocytozoon spp. (3/55; 5.5%). A genetic lineage isolated from the Eurasian Sparrowhawk (Accipiter nisus) was identical to that of the known avian malaria parasite P. circumflexum. Several genetic lineages were identical or closely related to the parasite lineages that were previously detected in birds and mosquitoes in Japan and Korea. Another single identical genetic lineage was also detected in both migratory and resident birds. A total of 753 mosquitoes from 12 species were collected; and one fully fed Aedes albopictus was positive for avian Plasmodium (1/753; 0.13%) which is identical to a genetic lineage detected in both mosquitoes in Japan and birds in Korea. Blood-meal identifications of blood-fed mosquitoes showed direct contact between the mosquitoes and 4 species of mammals including humans, cattle, rodents, and the endangered Tsushima leopard cat (Prionailurus bengalensis euptilura). Migratory birds use Tsushima Island as a site for wintering, breeding, and resting, and our results suggest the transmission of avian haematozoa between resident and migratory birds during their stay on Tsushima Island.

Seismicity in the northern Hida region, Japan, has been routinely observed since May, 1977 at telemeter-network stations of the Kamitakara Geophysical Observatory, and about 1500 local shocks with magnitudes greater than 0.5 have been located. (1) The observation reveals high seismicity along the Atotsugawa fault, along the northern Japan-Alps, south of Mt. Norikura and Mt. Ontake, and near Hida-Osaka, with focal depths shallower than 20km. (2) Seismic activity along the Atotsugawa fault is high at the eastern and western portions, with an intermittent zone of low activity, extending over 70km. Epicenters are deviated about 2-3km north of the fault trace, and this deviation together with focal depth distribution suggests a slightly northwestwardd dipping fault plane. All these shocks are confined above 13km, suggesting either that the fault plane extends down to this depth, or that minor brittle fractures do not take place under the depth due to some flow propertities of rock materials there. (3) Nine shocks along the fault show focal mechanisms consistent with right-lateral strike-slip evidenced by geological and geomorphological surveys (MATSUDA, 1966). (4) Heavy damage along the fault region at the time of the 1858 Hida earthquake (M=6.9) appears to indicate that this large earthquake was caused by faulting motion of the Atotsugawa fault. Most of the present seismic activity along the fault might be associated with some readjustments of residual stresses around there.
