Android は,スマートフォンだけではなく組み込みシステムとして家電やカーナビ等への利用にも注目されており,今後はスマートフォンや Android を搭載した端末相互間における連携が必要になると考えられる.しかし,Android 端末相互間における情報のやりとりについてはこれまであまり注目されてこなかった.そこで,本稿では Android 端末を用いたアプリケーション層での遠隔サービス呼び出し機能の試作を行い,有用性と課題について検討した.また,アプリケーション層以下での遠隔サービス呼び出しについて,Android OS レベルでの実装のために Binder と AIDL について考察し,どのような設計が考えられるか検討した.Android has been attracting attention as the OS for not only smartphones but also embedded systems. It is necessary that smartphones and embedded systems which Android OS is installed have to coordinate with each other. However, sending and receiving information between Android devices has been gotten less attention. Therefore, in this paper we demonstrate a prototype of the function which calls remote services based on Android and make a feasibility study on utilities and problems. Moreover, we discuss Binder and AIDL to implement calling remote services under the application layer in Android OS and we examine possible architectures.

Peer Support is a support system that utilizes the peer relationship. Usually counseling is done by a professional counselor who is educated in psycho therapy. However, in Peer Counseling the counselor is a peer of the person receiving counseling, one who stands in the same position or has the same disorder or the same experience as the person being counseled. There are two merits to using peer counseling at universities and colleges. First, it can help students who are having some problems in their campus life. Second, the peer counselors who volunteer to participate can experience some growth in themselves as well. In this paper we reviewed selected recent articles on peer support or peer counseling in Japan in the fields of welfare, health and student counseling. These articles are reviewed from the following four points : 1) start and structure of peer counseling (peer support); 2) programs of peer counselor education; 3) reports of peer counseling practice; 4) maturing or changing of students in peer counselor training.

我々の日常生活における行動の多くは好きまたは嫌いなどの「主観的な好み」に左右されることが多いが,その神経機構については不明な点が多い.そこで本研究では,主観的な好みがワーキングメモリ容量に与える影響とそれに関わる脳波リズムの特定を試みた.19名の被験者に対して,好きな色と好きではない色に塗られた視覚刺激を用いて遅延見本合せ課題を行い,そのパフォーマンスと脳波の変化を調べた.その結果,好きな色を使った図形に対するパフォーマンスは好きではない色に比べて高いことが分かった.また記憶期間中の脳波データの周波数解析は,前頭連合野と頭頂連合野のシータ波(3〜6Hz)とアルファ波(9〜14Hz)が増加する結果を示した.興味深いことに,前頭連合野シータ波は記憶量が増えるにつれて増加するのに対して,頭頂連合野アルファ波は減少した.特に好きな色の記憶期間中にはこの前頭連合野のシータ波に加えて,ベータ波(15〜20Hz)も増加し,好きな色を用いたワーキングメモリ容量増加分と相関することが分かった.以上の結果より,前頭連合野シータ波は負荷が大きい能動的なワーキングメモリ保持に関わること,このシータ波に加えベータ波が主観的な好みに影響を受けることで保持容量が増加することが示唆された.

Shakespeareはその生涯に,40篇近い劇作品を書いたが,喜劇,悲劇,歴史劇とジャンルの違いはあっても,どの作品にも皮肉な視点が組み込まれている。"Gentle Shakespeare"と称された詩人であるが,作品の中には必ずピリッと辛いわさびが効かしてあった。しかしこの工夫が,彼の作品を一筋縄では片付けられない,面白いものにしているのである。彼の悲劇作品では,詩人は劇的アイロニイを追求した。Richard IIIは歴史劇であるが,さまざまな劇的アイロニイが描かれている。劇的アイロニイは,悲劇的アイロニイと呼ばれることもある。劇的アイロニイの最も典型的な例は,他人事と思って発言したことが,自分自身の身に跳ね返ってくる皮肉な運命を言う。例えばRichard IIIの中のHastings公は,Richard王の誘導尋問にかかって,王に魔法をかけた者がいるなら,誰であろうと死刑にすべきだと答える。王はHastingsを魔法使の仲間だと言って,即刻死刑にすることを要求する。暴君Richard王ならではの行為である。この他Richard IIIには,Richard王自身にまつわる究極のアイロニイとも言える,運命の皮肉が作品の中に用意されている。

This paper describes a new metric for evaluating the cost effectiveness of software reviews. The proposed metric is based on the degree to which costs needed for detecting all faults from software are reduced by software reviews in a project. The metric can be interpreted as combining two conventional metrics proposed by Fagan (1976) and Collofello and Woodfield (1989). As the proposed metric is normalized by virtual testing cost, we can compare the values of it among any different kind of projects. Using an experimental evaluation of the conventional metrics and the proposed metric for data collected in an industrial environment, we show the validity and usefulness of the proposed metric. In addition, we present a method to estimate a value of the proposed metric by using only the values which can be computed during the software reviews.
