Generation of the streak-like flash in the inner-fold of the mantle in Ctenoides ales was investigated by video-camera recording, and stereo, light, fluorescence and electron microscopy. The stereo microscopy revealed the presence of a pale white band along the entire width of the marginal edge of the shell side surface of the inner fold. Since the flashing could not be seen in the dark, it was not due to the luminescence but the reflection of light. The light microscopy showed that the band region consisted of about ten rows of epithelial cells, cylindrical and 40 μm tall and 10 μm wide. The cytoplasm was densely filled with fine granules, eosinophilic in H-E staining. Under the electron microscope, those granules appeared as electron-dense vesicles, 0.5-0.6 μm in diameter, each containing a highly electron-dense spherical core, 0.2-0.3 μm in diameter. The cell had a nucleus, few mitochondria and lysosomes, however, other cellular organelles such as Golgi apparatus, rough and smooth endoplasmic reticulum were not evident, in the present observation. We assume that the electron-dense vesicles packed in the cytoplasm function to reflect light strongly. This highly reflecting structure found in C. ales is quite different from those have been reported in eyes of scallop and squid, and in iridophores of giant clam, cuttlefish, long-spined sea urchin and of fishes. The video observation showed that the mantle made a movement to roll the white band towards the shell-side and then, within a second, the rolling movement was released. The phase of the movement was different by the portions of the mantle, and the mantle edge made a wave-like motion. When the pale white band was hidden by the roll, the reflection of light disappeared. When the rolling was released, the reflection of light reappeared. Since the "roll and release movement" repeat quickly, it looks as though a streak-like flash run along the mantle margin.

近年,SNS(Social Networking Service)やBlog,Twitterなどのインターネットを利用したコミュニケーションツールの利用が拡大している.SNSのユーザは友人登録機能によってSNS上での他のユーザとの関係を表現する.このようにSNS上に現れる友人関係は,実社会において観測することの困難な人間関係を限定的ではあるが具現化する可能性がある.本研究では性質の異なる多数の小規模SNSを表現可能なネットワーク生成モデルを提案した.提案モデルは,SNSの成長モデルとして知られているCNN+Fitnessモデルに,管理者優先モデル,トライアドフォーメーションモデル,優先的近傍接続モデルを組み合わせて作られた.そして,それぞれのモデル適用率をパラメータとし,モデル化したいSNSに特化して最適化することで,現実の友人ネットワークの構造を近似する.パラメータの最適化にはSimulated Annealingを利用した.また,提案モデルの近似性能を確認するために,ネットワーク指標間の距離に基づいた評価関数を提案した.提案モデルを279の小規模SNSに適用し,提案評価関数で評価した結果,従来のモデルよりも高い精度で小規模SNSの友人ネットワークを近似できることを確認した.また,提案した3種類のモデルについて有効性を確認したところ,管理者優先モデル,優先的近傍接続モデルは友人ネットワーク生成モデル構築上重要であったが,トライアドフォーメーションモデルはネットワークの生成にほとんど寄与しないことが明らかとなった.

1968年に、東京のふたつの画廊で開催された「トリックス・アンド・ヴィジョン」展は、トリッキーといわれる美術を集大成した、画期的な展覧会であった。企画者は、美術評論家の中原佑介と石子順造である。国内から19名の美術家が参加したが、そのうち6名は、静岡周辺に在住していた。トリッキーな美術は、その外見ゆえに、安易な美術と見なされることが多いが、視覚のあいまいさを視覚化した点で、再度見直されるべき価値があるように思われる。また、世界的に見ても、当時、他にあまり例を見ない動向でもあった。今回の研究の目的は、「トリックス・アンド・ヴィジョン」展はどのようなむのであったか、またそれは、我が国の戦後美術の流れのなかで、どのような位置にあったか、以上二点を検証することである。

本研究の目的は、スカイマークスタジアムと大阪ドーム間のオリックスバファローズの試合観戦者比較によって、プロ野球球団のエリアマーケティングを行うための基礎資料を明らかにすることであった。調査は、2005年8月13日にスカイマークスタジアムで行われたプロ野球球団のオリックスバファローズの試合と、2005年8月20日に大阪ドームで行われたオリックスバファローズの試合で行った。スカイマークスタジアムと大阪ドーム間で比較分析が行われた。有効回答はそれぞれ505部(93.7%)と486部(99.0%)であった。今回の結果から、それぞれの地域における観戦者の異なる特性が見られた。エリアマーケティングの応用と、スポーツマーケターのそれぞれの地域における観戦者の異なる特性の理解を高めるための示唆が討論されている。

The basic Men strike in kendo is a fundamental technique that is enforced in big operation through by brandishing a bamboo sword. However, this stroke differs from the stroke executed in a battle. It has been maintained that one of the qualities possessed by a leader is the ability to qualitatively convert these two methods of strokes by shifting from a basic stage to the battle stage. This research aims to clarify the difference between these two strokes. Paying particular attention to the speed of the tip of a bamboo sword, it attempts to address the mechanism that generates speed. As a result, the following issues were resolved : In the basic Men strike, the bamboo sword was mainly swung up by crooking a shoulder joint and an elbow joint on either side, and swung down by extending of a shoulder joint, an elbow joint and a wrist joint on either side. However, in the battle Men strike, the shoulder joint on either side was always crooked from swinging up of a bamboo sword to swinging down. During swinging down a bamboo sword, there was little angle change of an elbow joint and a left wrist joint on either side, and the right wrist join was extending. Such an operation of a upper limbs mainly is by rotating a bamboo sword in the basic Men strike and by pushing a bamboo sword to the front in the battle Men strike. That is, the speed of the point of a sword was produced by the different bamboo sword operation at the basic Men strike and the battle Men strike. The view of this research clarifies the factor on instruction required in order to aim at qualitative conversion of Men strike technique from the basic strike to the battle strike, and it is thought that it is useful to future instruction.

1995年1月17日の阪神・淡路大震災により,阪神淡路地域の住民は大きな被害を被った。本稿では,まず被災地における街-コミュニティーの再生への取り組み事例として,神戸市須磨区須磨浦通6丁目を取り上げ,同年4月から9月にかけて行われた住民集会の経過を概観する。そして被災地復興への問題と可能性を考察する。本研究の結果,4回の住民集会により,須磨浦通6丁目の住民が抱えている諸問題が具体的に把握されたこと,当地区の住民が震災からの街-コミュニティーの再生に,主体的に取り組む姿勢を有していること,そして一方で住民の主体的な取り組みを支えるための各種制度の整備,適用が未だ不十分であることが明らかになった。

Some authors assert that the digital divide is a serious social problem and the government must improve the situation. The digital divide theorists often rely on the data showing that the internet-use rate of higher-income group is much higher than that of lower-income group. They, however, dont examine the relationship between the internet-use rate and income, controlling any related variables. Therefore, the aim of this paper is to examine whether the digital divide really exists and whether it is a serious social problem, from a social-stratification perspective with multivariate analyses. We consider the characteristics of the digital divide studies and derive the three tasks of our data analyses: the trend of the digital divide, the causal effect of income on internet use, and that of internet use on income. Our analyses show,1) the digital divide decreased from 2000 to 2002 but still exists,2) household income has a significant effect on internet use even after controlling related variables, but 3) internet use doesnt have a significant effect on personal income. From the results, we conclude that the digital divide exists but it is not a serious social problem, because internet use cannot reproduce social stratification and it still doesnt make a serious inequality of life chance in Japan.

本稿では,非線形,非ガウス型の時系列フィルタリング法である,パーティクルフィルタについて,特にIsardらのCondensation法に代表されるコンピュータビジョンにおける対象追跡への応用に焦点を当て,理論と実装法を概説する.時系列フィルタリングに関する基本的な考えからから,カルマンフィルタなどの線形,ガウス型のフィルタリング手法,パーティクルフィルタによる非線形,非ガウス型への拡張について説明し,具体的な実装例を紹介する.This article introduces the theory and the implementation of Particle Filter that is one of non-liner and non-gaussian filter. This paper explains the basic idea of Filtering of time series, Kalman-Filter that is liner and gaussian filter and Particle Filter. We introduces the implementation of Paticle filter.
