介護福祉士を目指す学生は,年々減少している。今回,短期大学系の介護福祉士養成校の在学生を対象に,介護福祉に興味を抱き始めた契機から,養成校受験に至るまでの意識形成過程の分析を行った。その結果,「個人の生育歴や生活歴といった外的環境因子」と「個人の有する職業観」といった二つの要因が折り重なり,意識が形成されていくことがわかった。前者には,個人の生まれ育った家庭環境や,中学や高等学校で学び得た福祉に関する知識・体験,保護者の職業意識,進路を意識した時代背景などが含有され,意識形成の基礎要因となっていた。後者では,介護職に対し「やりがい」を追及し,他者の役に立ちたいという動機が検出できた。学生は,社会的雑念に翻弄されることなく,純粋に自分らしく生きる一つの手段として,養成校を受験する意識を形成していくことが明確となった。

本論文は,社会福祉士養成過程における社会福祉援助技術演習の教授法の一つとしてデス・エデュケーション演習を試み,学生たちの援助観形成にどのような効果をもたらしたかについて明らかにすることを目的としている.分析方法としては,学生たちが記述した感想文をグラウンデッド・セオリーの手法によって分析を試み,社会福祉援助技術演習の効果性の測定,さらに今後社会福祉援助技術演習の教授法のあり方について提示を試みた.結果として,学生たちの死生観の涵養,一人称の死を体験することによる終末期患者が抱える痛み等を擬似体験し,理解を深めることに繋がった.さらに自己の死を考察することから,生きるということを再考察,自己と他者との繋がりの実感と感謝する等の能動的な感情がみられた.しかし,クライエントの人権や尊厳について,またソーシャルワーカーとしての援助のあり方等について具体的な考察を深めるには至らず,援助者としての視点の獲得や援助のあり方について考察を深めていくことができる能動的な姿勢を養成する授業展開と内容の工夫が必要であることが明らかになった.

人間は、必ず死を迎える生き物である。明解な事実であるが、老いを生きる高齢者にとっては避けたい事でもある。お釈迦さまが言われたように私たちは、死ぬ身を生きているのである。介護に係わる人材養成を行っている私たちは、人の生きた証としての終末期を次の世代に紡ぐ視座を模索している。社会福祉法人高田真善会・特別養護老人ホーム報徳園園長の千草は、「生まれた時にその人の死ぬ時は、約束されている」と語る。報徳園では、亡くなると本人の身近な人たちが集い、御院さんによる「枕経」が営まれる。遺族の都合に合わせ、利用者及び職員一同で「お別勤め」を行い、正面玄関より合掌・礼拝を受け見送られる。報徳園に暮らす一人ひとりにとって真に「終の棲家」となっている。一身田寺内町近隣地区における住民の生活に関する意識調査を通して老いのよそおいについて概観する。

福祉には、経済的な立場から行う福祉と文化的な立場から行う福祉と、それを円滑に行うための政治的な立場(主として法律の整備)からの福祉があると思われますが、現状は、どちらかと言うと法律を支えにした経済的な立場からの物質的支援が多いように思われます。それは、生きるためには食事をしなくてはならないことを本能的に知っているからだと思われますが、「何のために食事をするのか」を考える必要もあります。「生きるために食事をするのか」「人間の生きる証を残すために食事をするのか」と考えますと、理想としては「文化活動のために食事をするのだ」と言うことになるはずです。ですから、これからの重要な課題としては、文化活動を支えるための精神的育成が求められますが、この精神的育成に対して協力できるものの1つに、自由な表現の中でも創造性を求めながら自己啓発のできる美術活動があると思います。この立場から福祉活動について考えるのが美術福祉学です。

ストラウスとコービンは、慢性疾患を持つ人々に関する数多くの事例を基に「慢性疾患の病みの軌跡」という概念モデルを提示した。慢性の病いを持つ人間の反応を一つの「行路」と捉え、病気や慢性状況の行路を「軌跡」とした。この概念枠組みは、慢性の病気を持って生きることに対しての洞察や知識を提供するため、多くの看護実践・教育・研究・政策決定への活用が期待される。そのため、その発展の経緯を理解し、どの程度検証され、有用性や信頼性が確認されているかを明確にすることを目的に、文献研究を実施中である。今回、第一報として国内文献を検討した結果を報告する。「病みの軌跡」をキーワードとして収集した24 件の文献中、解説11 件、学会抄録7件、研究論文・報告6 件であった。比較的新しい枠組みとして活用され始めた段階にあり、大半は看護実践の事例検討において対象者理解や看護の振り返りの視点として使用されていた。「局面」等の下位概念はあまり使用されておらず、軌跡の枠組みを哲学的基盤や理論的前提とするにとどまっていた。国内文献では検証はなされておらず、モデルの発展には至っていないと考えられた。

Durch eine Interpretation des Trauerspiels "Emilia Galotti" beabsichtige ich die dramaturgische Technik Lessings zu erlautern, die sich mit der ethischen Gedankenwelt desselben Dichters bis auf jeden Winkel decken soll. Hier werde ich besonders meine Aufmerksamkeit richten auf die Handhabung eines Requisits, den Dolch, mit dem Emilia in die Brust gestochen werden sollte. Durch solch ein winziges Detail des Buhnenbildes dringt das Lessingsche Ideensystem der Tugend durch. Es handelt sich hier um die Intrigen im Zusammenhang mit dem Raub einer Braut, der Evolutionsbiologie nach um das sneaking eines Weibchens durch einen sneaker von einem anderen Mannchen. Diese Intrigen sind dreierlei, dreistufig: die erste bezieht sich auf die Entfernung des Brautigams von der Hochzeit, die zweite auf den Raub der Braut vom Hochzeitswagen und die dritte auf die direkte Verfuhrung der Braut durch den Urheber. Diese Rankespiele entwickeln sich dem Handlungslauf gemaβ nicht gerade nach dieser Reihe, sondern fast umgekehrt, so symmetrisch wie in der Form eines Fachers. Am Anfang des 2. Aktes erscheint der Vater der Braut unerwartet geritten und ist besorgt wegen der Abwesenheit der Tochter, die bei der Messe von dem Prinzen verfuhrt werden soll. Diese Vorahnung der Tragodie durch den Vater ist die wenn auch unauffallige Reaktion auf die dritte Intrige. Als nachstes tritt Angello bei dem Bediensteten Piro auf, um bei diesem die Besetzung um den Hochzeitswagen auszukundschaften. Dies ist der Ausgang des zweiten Rankespiels. Dann kommt Emilia besturzt von der Messe zuruck, was die echt wahrnehmbare Reaktion auf die dritte Intrige ist. Erst danach, so spat geraten der Graf und der Marchese in Konfrontation, was die erste Entwicklung der eigentlichen, ersten List hatte sein sollen. Nicht ganz, aber ungefahr in der Form eines Fachers entfalten sich die Anfange der dreierlei Intrigen. Der Brautigam ist direkt durch den Angriff auf den Hochzeitswagen ums Leben gekommen, in Wahrheit um seiner mannlichen Tugend willen, da er ungern dem gewalttatigen Prinzen untertanig sein wollte. Die Braut bat freiwillig den Vater darum, sie mit dem Dolch in den Busen zu stechen, um ihre weibliche Tugend zu wahren. Eine schone Form dieser Tragodie ware die Ellipse, fur die die Summe der Abstande der Tugend zu zwei gegebenen Todespunkten konstant ist. Es durfte jedoch der quasi Freitod der Braut wichtiger als das Verhangnis des Brautigams sein. Die perfekte Form dieser Tragodie ware also gerade die vollkommene Kreisform, die dem festen Mittelpunkt des Freitodes gegenuber die gleiche Entfernung der weiblichen Tugend besitzt, die also jene Ellipse des doppelten Todes in sich enthalt. In dieser vollkommen kreisformigen Bahn um den Freitod Emilias als Zentralmasse bewegt sich der Dolch Orsinas, ein kleines Detail des gesamten Buhnenbildes. Orsiana, am Anfang nur als ein Phantom durch Geruchte prasent, dann als Abbild des Malers erschienen, ist unentwegt auf der Buhne eben in ihrer Abwesenheit exponent gegenwartig und reicht erst am Ende als auf der Buhne Anwesende den Dolch dem armen Vater in die Hand. Bis in eine solche Einzelheit in Form einer Wergzeugprasenz dringt das Lessingsche Ideensystem durch: die Aufhebung der Standeklausel.

The demographic behaviors of one generation, including marriage, divorce, fertility, and survival, create the population of families in which the next generation of children is raised. Assortative mating between men and women with varying socioeconomic characteristics is a key mechanism in establishing the families of the next generation, but differential fertility, child and parent survival, marital disruption, and parents’ socioeconomic mobility modify these marriage patterns. This article examines the demographic mechanisms through which family backgrounds are created. It presents the mathematical links between marriage patterns and the joint distribution of parents’ characteristics when their children are born and later in their lives. It illustrates these relationships using data on educational assortative mating, fertility, and mortality in the United States. Although the educational attainments of husbands and wives are strongly associated, patterns of differential fertility reinforce this relationship, resulting in an even stronger association between the educational attainments of mothers and fathers.

We construct a mathematical model for the dynamic behavior of hip- pocampus. The model is described by the skew product transformation in terms of chaotic dynamics and contracting dynamics. In the contracting subspace, fractal objects are generated. We show that such fractal objects are characterized by a code of a temporal sequence generated by chaotic dynamics.

The implications of maximally maintained inequality (MMI) and its alternative essentially maintained inequality (EMI) for inequality of educational opportunity within societies and over time in those societies are well-understood and frequently addressed in the literature. MMI and EMI may also have implications for cross-national differences. The ISSP “Social Inequality” module fielded 1999-2001 provides highly comparable data useful for assessing hypotheses about cross-national variation in inequality of educational opportunity. Patterns of inequality of educational opportunity in the ISSP data are consistent with MMI and EMI: the association between socioeconomic background and education falls as the proportion of the labor force with postsecondary education rises.

Hypotheses about social fluidity in log-linear models of social mobility are hypotheses about patterns of odds ratios; yet odds ratios are only indirectly related to the interaction parameters of log-linear models. I propose rewriting such models so that the interaction parameters are equal to log odds ratios. This allows straightforward tests of difference and similarity between the odds ratios of different mobility tables. The approach is illustrated using three cross-nationally comparative data sets.

個人や組織の知識や情報をストックし,オンデマンドで検索・利用できるようにする知識情報共有システム(Advice/Help on Demand)を,ストック情報の理解・活用の鍵となる知識ベース,マルチデータベース検索,対話インタフェース,メディア変換等の各種要素技術を統合して構築した.実際にストック情報のコンテンツを入れて1,000人規模の組織で実践し,有効性を検証している.システムは,オフィスの構成や業務手順のような体系化可能な知識を蓄積する知識ベースと,仕事のこつや事例など体系化されない個人のノウハウを蓄積するノウハウベースの2つのデータベースの連携で知識情報の管理検索を行う.これら2つのデータベースは相互に関連づけられており,ユーザからの自然言語の問合せを解釈し,意図に合った情報を検索して提示する.知識ベースはコンピュータの問題解決向きの構造であるのに対し,ノウハウベースは人間が可読な形式で蓄積し,自然言語で検索するための浅い構造を持たせた.ユーザがタイトルつきのテキストを入力するとキーワードを抽出し,構造情報を自動生成する.2つのデータベースの連携により,従来暗黙知のままとどまっていた個人のノウハウが蓄積しやすくなり,形式知化が促進された.We have developed a knowledge/information sharing system "Advice/Help on Demand" by fusing various technologies used in the accumulation/structurization of office knowledge and dialogue interfaces.The system has two databases.One is the "office knowledge base" that contains systematized information about office procedure,job flows,documentation,and the like.The other is the "knowhow base" that contains a wide variety of practical information,sucha as advice on dealing with everyday problems on the jobs.If a user enters a query in natural language,the system retrieve relevant information from these databases.Our experiments carried out in the real office show the feasibility of integrating organized office knowledge and flexible personal knowhow.

本研究は、日本と中国の説話文学史の融合を目指す研究の一環として、中国の説話文学史上、重要な位置を占めながらも、あまりに大部であるために従来はその内容が十分把握されていなかった『法苑珠林』と『夷堅志』の詳細な分析を行ったものである。『法苑珠林』は仏教百科事典として編纂された説話集であり、その全体構造を解明した。宋を代表する知識人洪邁の著作『夷堅志』については、北宋滅亡の史実が作品に大きな影響を与えていることを明らかにした。
