本研究の目的は,電子メディアの世界においてオンライン百科事典として参照されるWikipedia が,印刷メディアの世界で確立された百科事典の概念に対応するものであるかを明らかにすることである。対応関係を議論する上では,各メディアの世界が支えている知識の編成において百科事典とWikipedia がそれぞれ占める位置づけを考慮することが必要である。そこで,本研究では,百科事典とWikipedia それぞれの役割とそれらの役割を支える属性に着目して分析を行った。まず,百科事典について議論,論究した文献をレビューし,百科事典の役割と属性について分析を行った。次に,Wikipedia について調査,分析を行った文献をレビューし,Wikipedia が百科事典と同じ役割を果たし,同様の属性を有するかについて分析を行った。結論として,個々の利用という状況を除いて,Wikipedia は百科事典と概念的に対応しないことが示された。この結論はまた,電子メディアの世界におけるWikipedia の位置づけは印刷メディアの世界における百科事典の位置づけとは異なることを示唆している。

A methanol extract from unripe Japanese apricot showed inhibitory activity of Helicobacter pylori motility. Inhibitory compound 1 was isolated and identified as (+)-syringaresinol (1) by spectoroscopic means. (+)-Syringaresinol (1) inhibited >90% of the H. pylori motility at a concentration of 500 μg/ml and the IC50 value was 50 μg/ml.

This study examines the effects of social support on the relationship between job stressors and mental health. Job stressors (role conflict, role ambiguity, underutilization of skills, quantitative work overload, qualitative work overload) and social support (emotional and instrumental support from co-worker, senior colleague and supervisor) were used to predict employees' mental health (depression) among 590 female employees. The results showed that 1) senior colleague support had more important implications for mental health than did supervisor or co-worker support. 2) Senior colleague and supervisor support had buffering effect, but co-worker support had little buffering effect. 3) The form of the interaction was different from the predictions of the buffering hypothesis in emotional support from supervisor.

本稿は, 三味線演奏時における演奏者の棹の角度を研究するものである。343名の演奏者を分析したところ, 平均値は32度, 最頻値は33度, 標準偏差は3.7で, 度数分布曲線は最頻値33度を頂点とする釣鐘型の対称分布であることが明らかになった。 さらにF検定を用いて, 長唄と他の種目との検定を行った。その結果, 長唄の母分散と等しいのは一中節, 義太夫節, 清元節, 小唄, 座敷唄, 地歌, 新内節, 創作曲, 端唄, 宮薗節で, 等しくないのは上方唄, 常磐津節, 民謡となった。そしてF検定の結果をもとにt検定を行った結果, 母平均が長唄と等しいのは上方唄, 義太夫節, 清元節, 小唄, 座敷唄, 地歌, 新内節, 創作曲, 常磐津節, 宮薗節, 民謡で, 等しくないのは一中節と端唄となった。性別に関しては, 男女間で母分散は異なるが, 母平均は等しい。また, 棹の角度は服装, 座り方, 演奏方法の違いで大きな影響を受けるわけではない。

Multi-fidelity analysis has been used for reducing the calculation cost of evaluating the design solution, which is the most costly process in design optimization. In general, multi-fidelity analysis is applied to problems with continuous design variables, which are suitable to construct an approximate model of design space such as the response surface. On the other hand, combinatorial optimization problems, e.g., layout design, are difficult to apply the conventional multi-fidelity analysis, since the response surface cannot be constructed due to the property of the design variables. In this paper, we propose a multi-fidelity optimization method independent of the response surface and a simple analysis model for the method, and apply them to multi-disciplinary optimal layout design problem which is a complicated combinatorial optimization problem. The proposed analytical model, which adopts the concept of the explicit method, realizes for reducing the calculation time by simplifying the physical phenomenon. Then, the multi-fidelity optimization method is constructed by combining the proposed analysis model with the thermal network method which is a well-known thermal analysis method. We confirm that there is a strong correlation between the calculation result of the proposed analysis model and of a CAE software, and show that the proposed analysis model is suitable as a low fidelity model. The effectiveness of the proposed optimization method is demonstrated through numerical experiments.

急速に高齢化が進む首都圏においては,医療機関が充実しているにもかかわらず,今後近隣の病院を受診できない事態が想定される.そこで本研究では,交通解析に基づく患者受療圏モデルにより,患者が通院できる範囲を考慮した上で将来の医療の需給バランスを推計する手法を検討した.方法として,1都3県の500 mメッシュごとに,国勢調査人口と各政府統計から2040年までの病院への入院患者数を推計した.病院までの移動時間は車で60分以内としてシミュレートし,患者数と各病院の病床数と比較した.結果として,2020年以降病床数の不足するメッシュが発生し,東京を中心に広がっていくことが示された.また,平均在院日数等のパラメータを変化させ需要超過の推移を見たところ,需要超過量の減少傾向を地理的・経時的に見ることができたことから,本研究により医療需要の急増に備える対策を検討する上で,具体的な目標値を提供することに期待できる.

This paper presents numerical solution to two shape design problems of unsteady forced heat-convection fields to control temperature to a prescribed distribution. In the first problem, the square error integral between the actual temperature distributions and the prescribed temperature distributions on the prescribed sub-domains during the specified period of time is used as the objective functional. In the second problem, a multi-objective shape optimization problem using normalized objective functional is formulated for the temperature distribution prescribed problem and the total dissipated energy minimization problem in the unsteady forced heat-convection fields. Shape gradient of these shape design problems is derived theoretically using the Lagrange multiplier method, adjoint variable method, and the formulae of the material derivative. Reshaping is carried out by the traction method proposed as an approach to solving shape optimization problems. Numerical analyses program for the shape design is developed based on FreeFem++, and the validity of proposed method is confirmed by results of 2D numerical analyses.

Natsujima (Tonoas) in the Truk (Chuuk) Islands was the geographical center of Japanese Micronesia (Nan'yo Gunto) where the original administrative headquarters was established in 1914. Without any large-scale industries, Japanese population in Truk remained small for years. However, conditions drastically changed after the mid-1930s when the Navy began to fortify the islands as the chief naval base in the Pacific for World War Two. This paper examines the Japanese settlement process in Truk and the urban morphology of Natsujima as well as the life of Japanese and Trukese in Natsujima-cho, during prewar and early wartime years. It also discusses the features of bonito fishery bases operated by Okinawans in small and dispersed settlements in Truk.

症例は75歳, 男性。平成16年10月4日, 自慰行為で肛門にヨーグルトの瓶を挿入したところ, 抜去できなくなり10月6日近医受診。摘出困難で10月7日に当院紹介, 同日入院となった。腹部に圧痛, 腹膜刺激症状は認めず, 直腸指診で異物を触知した。腹部単純X線検査で直腸内に径5.7cm長さ10cm大の異物が認められた。入院後, 経肛門的に用手, また大腸内視鏡を用いて摘出を試みたが摘出できず, 腰椎麻酔下で児頭吸引器を使用し経肛門的に摘出した。術後経過良好で翌日退院となった。経肛門的直腸異物の摘出に, 今回用いた児頭吸引器は, 有用な一方法であると考えられた。

目的これまでテアフラビンなどの紅茶成分が糖質消化酵素阻害活性を有することは明らかにされているが,紅茶の製造工程における糖質消化酵素阻害作用については十分な検討がなされていない.そこで,各製造工程の茶葉から抽出した紅茶の糖質消化酵素阻害作用を検討した. 方法2006年5月に静岡県島田市で摘採した葉(べにひかり)をオーソドックス製法で製造した紅茶を用いた.各工程で試料を採取し,萎凋葉,揉捻葉,発酵(1,2,3時間)葉とした.試料は粉砕後,熱水で1時間浸出・ろ過したもの(1g/100mL)を用いた.In vitroにおける糖質消化酵素阻害活性はα-アミラーゼ阻害活性はヒト唾液希釈液を用いて,デンプン残量を測定した.また,α-グルコシターゼ阻害活性はラット小腸アセトン粉末(Sigma社製)から調製した酵素液を用いて,酵素反応により生成したグルコース量を測定した.総ポリフェノールの定量は(+)カテキンをスタンダードとして酒石酸鉄比色法により行った. 結果および考察α-アミラーゼ阻害活性は製造工程が進むに従って強くなり,発酵3時間葉が最も高値を示した.マルターゼおよびスクラーゼ阻害活性は生葉,萎凋葉で高値を示したが,その後工程が進むに従って低下した.ポリフェノール含量は生葉,萎凋葉で高値となり,その後工程が進むに従って減少した.以上の結果から,調製した紅茶は製造工程が進むに従ってα-アミラーゼ阻害活性は上昇し,α-グルコシターゼ阻害活性は低下することが示され,各糖質消化酵素に対する阻害活性成分は異なることが示唆された.また,α-グルコシターゼ阻害活性を示す成分はカテキン類である可能性が示唆された.

本研究の目的は,大学と産業界の知恵と資源を有効活用し,わが国を襲う様々な災害から市民の生命と財産を守り,発生する被害の最小化に貢献する新しい魅力ある防災ビジネスの創造と育成である.著者らは,この目的の下,(財)生産技術研究奨励会の特別研究会として,「防災ビジネスの創造と育成のための研究委員会」を設立し,大学研究者と防災ビジネスに興味を持つ企業が相互に防災技術に関する情報を交換し合うとともに,新しい防災ビジネスを展開する上での技術的・制度的課題の抽出と分析を行った.そしてその結果に基づいて解決策を検討・提案し,さらにその解決策を産学協働の新しい防災ビジネスモデルにつなげ,育成するための戦略についても検討した. 本稿では,これらの成果の中から,マーケット全体を俯瞰し,企業の商品戦略や成長戦略を立案できる環境を構築するために,WBSによる「災害俯瞰モデル」を用いた災害情報のプロファイリング結果を紹介する.[本要旨はPDFには含まれない]
