The purpose of this study was to examine friendship in adolescence and how it changed in each developmental stage. A questionnaire regarding friendship was created. Subjects were 579 students. They were junior high-school, high-school and university students. As the result of the factor analysis, the friendship was categorized by the two-dimensional space. One axis conserned the intimacy of their friendship ; and the other axis consisted on the number of their friends. Junior high school students tended to make many friends but their relationships were not so intimate. As they grew older, they tried to have more intimate friendships with just a few friends.

昨年2013年8月1日,総合情報基盤センター学術情報サービス研究開発部門では,計算センター設置から総合情報基盤センターの現在に至る,約50年間の広報誌,ニュース,利用の手引きなど,様々な文献・資料を収集分類し,デジタル化して保管し,「総合情報基盤センター・デジタル・アーカイブス(電子保管庫)」と命名し,Web上に公開するサービスを開始した.49年前の昭和40(1965)年に3月15日に「富山大学計算センター」が設置されてから,今年は50周年目の年に当たる.この半世紀を経た記念すべき年を契機として,50年間に蓄積された膨大な文献・資料の中で,歴史に残して,後世に伝えるべきものを選択し,電子化してWeb上に掲載すれば,学生・教職員・研究者のみならず,本学で学び,研究した卒業生に,思い出の文献・資料を,インターネットで,誰でも,何時でも,何処からでも検索してもらい,提供することができる.本学では既に人文学部の立川健治教授が中心になって,富山大学デジタル・アーカイブスを構築中であるが,その先駆けとしてITC Digital Archivesを開設したので,皆さんに閲覧いただき,ご意見を伺って,改善していきたいと考えている.

女子大学生を対象に,携帯電話を介したインターネットへの依存と自尊感情とのかかわりについて調査を行った。自尊感情が低いものほどインターネットに依存する傾向が強いと考えていたが,両者には強い相関関係は認められなかった。今後は,メールの回数や時間などについても明らかにする必要があると考えている。自尊感情を育むにはどうすればよいか継続的な研究が望まれるところである。In recent years, there are many people who take mobile phone. They access the internet by mobile phone. The present study examined the relation between the tendency toward internet dependence and self-esteem as life skill. 242 college students were answered the questionnaire including the tendency toward internet dependence, the time of using mobile phone, the duration of using mobile phone for a day and self-esteem. Self-esteem was assessed by Rosenberg's self-esteem scale. 41.5% of the subjects started using mobile phone since junior high school age. Mean score of the tendency toward internet dependence was 7.74 (SD4.22) and mean score of self-esteem was 25.35 (SD3.05), respectively. The subjects used mobile phone over 150 minutes for a day indicated high score of the tendency toward internet dependence significantly. There was not a close relationship between the tendency toward internet dependence and self -esteem. It is necessary to investigate the effect of another life skill on the tendency toward internet dependence.

There are many old monuments of the Nankaido tsunamis of Hoei (Oct. 28, 1707) and the 2nd Ansei (Dec. 24, 1854) along the Osaka and Wakayama coasts, Western Japan. Most of these monuments were built just after the earthquakes to pray for the repose of the tsunami victims or to sound a warning to inhabitants. In this paper, the tsunami monuments are illustrated. Based on descriptions on the monuments, adding new data collected from the present field investigation, inundation heights of the 1707 Hoei and 1854 Ansei tsunamis along the Wakayama coast are surveyed by hand-level. Behaviors (inundation height and area) of the two historical tsunamis are compared with those of the 1946 Nankaido tsunami (Dec. 21, 1946). Inundation heights of the 1854 Ansei tsunami along the Wakayama coast, the west side of the Kii Peninsula, are 4.8 meters on the average and are 1.2 times as large as those of the 1946 Nankaido tsunami. The estimated heights of the 1707 Hoei tsunami are 5 meters with the localized run-up maximum of 6 to 7 meters. Along the Wakayama coast, the patterns of height distribution of the two historical tsunamis are similar to that of the 1946 Nankaido tsunami. However, the inundation heights of the 1707 Hoei and 1854 Ansei tsunamis along the coast in Osaka Bay are three times as large as those of the 1946 tsunami. Osaka suffered severe damage and many persons were drowned by the two tsunamis of 1707 and 1854. Estimated heights were about 3 meters. It suggests that the wave periods of the two historical tsunamis were longer than those of the 1946 tsunami. Although the source dimensions of the two historical tsunamis are similar to the 1946 tsunami (The source areas of three tsunamis extend 250 km along the Nankai trough), the rise times of crustal deformation for the two historical earthquakes differ significantly from the 1946 earthquake.

A lowered subjective evaluation of the taste and flavor of beer due to staleness or to the addition of an unpleasant taste and flavor was found to be closely correlated with the urination rate. Beer in the same lot was compared immediately after shipment from the brewery and after leaving at room temperature for 1 month or 5 months. Each beer sample was given to volunteers at the rate of 3 ml/kg/15 min for 2 hours, and the urine volume was measured every 30 minutes. The urination rate was highest from the volunteers who drank fresh beer and lowest from those who drank 5-month-old beer. The subjective evaluation of both the taste and drinkability of 5-month-old beer was significantly lower than that of fresh beer. Beer samples with various unpleasant taste and flavor substances added lowered the urination rate. The results suggest that the perception of an unpleasant taste and off-flavor would lower the urination rate.

アフリカの食用作物栽培ではかねてより、おとり作物の利用や混作といった持続的手法がもちいられてきた。本研究では、こうした手法がトウモロコシやササゲなどの食用作物を加害する害虫やその天敵の生態にどのような影響をおよぼすのかをあきらかにした。さらにこれらの手法を、昆虫病原ウイルスや導入天敵といったあらたな害虫防除資材とくみあわせることにより、合理的かつ経済的な環境保全型害虫管理体系を構築することを検討した。

本研究の目的は、プロサッカークラブが持続的に成長していくために必要な施策や成功要因を明らかにすることである。研究方法は既存の資料分析および当事者へのインタビューを用いた。その結果、プロサッカークラブが持続的に成長していくためには、対戦チームに応じたチケット料金制の検討やユース育成に注力することがチームの成長に欠かせない要因であることが明らかとなった。

熊本大学工学部は、平成17年度より、ものづくり創造融合工学教育事業を実施している。これを受け、技術部でも学科の実験・実習の垣根を超え、専門域外の学生に対して技術職員が日頃培った工学基礎技術を融合させ提供している。これにより受講生の好奇心を涵養し、学習意欲の向上と創造する楽しさを発見してもらうことを目的としている。同時に、技術職員も専門技術を超えて学び、学生と共に試行錯誤することで、技術の向上を図ることができる。今回は本事業の一つ、「ナタ・デ・ココの工学的アプローチ」について報告する。本研究はバイオ技術を手掛かりにした「ものづくり」と化学構造分析、材料加工、音声評価といった多分野にわたる技術の融合により成り立ち、参加する学生の専攻分野を問わず多様な目的や興味を満たすことができる。したがって、本事業の目的として最適であると考えられる。

現在,ISO/IEC JTC1/SC7 (Software and systems engineering) で,Systems and Software Quality Requirements and Evaluation (SQuaRE) という規格体系の審議が進んでいる.このプロジェクトは,システム・ソフトウェアの品質を制御し,保証する上で課題となる,品質要求事項の具現化と定量評価に関する標準を定め,統一された基準で品質を測定・評価することを目指している.システム・ソフトウェアに求められる品質を実現する上では,発注者,受注者などの利害関係者間で,実現すべき品質特性や個々の特性に対する期待水準を合意することが重要である.本稿では,最新の国際規格ISO/IEC 25000:SQuaREシリーズの体系を述べる.次に,SQuaREが規定する,国際的に合意された品質モデル群を紹介する.
