The exposure of medical care staff to viral hepatitis is well known and the preventive measures against infection by viral hepatitis in the hospital have been presented as one of the important items on the agenda of the National Japan Conference of the Directors of Dental College Hospitals on several occasions. Current status at each Dental College Hospital was reported and discussed. In the present report, in addition to the results of surveys on infection by type B hepatitis virus at each Dental College Hospital, current status of the preventive measures against infection by viral hepatitis in each of these hospitals are reported. Survey data reported by Tohoku University School of Dentistry, Showa University School of Dentistry, Nippon Dental University, Josai Dental University, Kyushu Dental College, Kagoshima University Faculty of Dentistry and our College were used as referece. According to these surveys, it seems that dentists and predoctoral students in the Dental College belong to a high risk group for hepatitis B infection. This would indicate that the college or university, as an educational institution, should provide the students with sufficient training regarding the nature of HB hepatitis, as well as preventive procedures. The countermeasures for the infection by viral hepatitis in the hospital have been practiced in each Dental College and University Hospital according to the Medical Institution Guidelines for Type B Hepatitis. Those who engage in dental care should sufficiently recognize the danger of nontransvenous infection and practice necessary preventive measures to avoid infection.

情報のリテラシーとモラルについて,日本とタイの中学生を対象に,2009年〜2011年に質問紙調査・聞き取り調査を実施し,両国の実態と問題点を抽出した.情報リテラシーについて,日本に比べタイは,メディア・インターネットへの接触時間も長く,パソコンスキルがあった.情報モラルについては,両国ともに自己防衛や他者への配慮は意識されていた.しかし,アイドルなど画像の無断使用,音楽・ソフトなどコピー譲渡などの認識が低く,特にタイでは日本に比べ著作権に対する意識が低かった.インターネット情報の活用・信用は,テレビに次いで両国とも高く,インターネットへの接触時間が長いほどネット情報を信頼していた.しかし,複数の情報源と比較して正しい情報を得ようとする者は少なく,情報を鵜呑みにしている恐れがある.

Kummou Gojou (1873) by Tatsutarou Kumagai (1846-1922) was translated as part of the American version of Improvement of the Mind (1868) by Isaac Watts (1674-1748). Kummou Gojou, which had a high evaluation in the West in the comtenporary period, discussed the role and experience of the "conversation" in learning and educational guidance. It was worthy of notice that this abridged edition by Kumagai was transulated during the preparation period of the Japanese "conversation course" in the early Meiji era. However, these contents were not accepted in the purposes of the educational system's "conversation course" promulgated in 1872 in Japan. The translation's foresightedness was appreciated, but it was shown to be premature when compared with the spread of common language that resulted from the indispensability of the conversation's actual situation in Japan.

Japanese civilians who lived in the territories of the anti-Axis powers during World War II-i.e., the UK, USA, Australia, Canada, Brazil, or Peru-were exposed to hostile attitudes in each society. For reasons of national security, most of them were relocated into internment camps or jails. In the UK, in addition to Germans, Italians, and Austrians, Japanese civilians were categorized as enemy aliens, and were relocated to a camp in the Isle of Man. (The Isle of Man is a small island located between Great Britain and Ireland, and historically has been a British Crown Dependency.) According to a newspaper report, about 200 Japanese civilians were sent to and arrived in the Isle of Man only five days after World War II broke out. Interestingly enough, this historical fact has been unknown not only among the Japanese but also the British. Although historical resources are very limited, this paper will reveal the experiences of the interned Japanese nationals in the Isle of Man during WWII, and discuss the reasons why Japanese as Enemy Aliens in the UK were forgotten in both Japan and the UK.

The aim of this study was to explore whether volunteer probation officer has what goals and objectives for the communityactivities. 50 volunteer probation officers belonging to the society for volunteer protection in Shinagawa has respondedto the questionnaire including the perspective of program evaluation. This questionnaire consisted of quantitative and qualitativequestions. Volunteer probation officers had admitted certain about the social effects of the" the movement to brightsociety", they had remained in one-third, who is involved in the planning of their activities. Respondents were not muchmention specific device contents and improve content for the goals to "the movement to bright society". Therefore, inorder to volunteer probation officers have conducted a" the movement to bright society" in philosophy preceding, it wassuggested that volunteer probation officers were not able to set" a specific goal" in this activities. Finally, it was discussedthat the importance of public relations for the citizens the activities of volunteer probation officers by volunteer probationofficers and the possibility of co-production with the Rissho University and the society for volunteer protection in Shinagawaand the society for big brothers and sisters movement.

This paper discusses the results of a qualitative research about 13 junior college students regarding their comprehension to the characteristics of various SNS networks, and their perception of the risk of using versus their experiences utilizing SNS. I did the Quantitative text analysis by the software of KH Coder and examined the risk usage behavior and risk perception in SNS. The main points of this paper are as follows: for young people, 1) SNS is a familiar means to communicate with others and is made use of not keeping up with fashion. 2) Also, they have recognitions that the personal information such as a` face photo' and a` name' or words including negative thoughts should not be shown in SNS.3) Nevertheless, they had posted the personally identifiable information up or they had been posted.

The effectiveness of condensable gas, used as ambience, in UV nanoimprint lithography has been demonstrated. Bubble defect problem, which is inherent in UV nanoimprint under non vacuum ambience, can be solved by PFP condensable gas. UV nanoimprint lithography using PFP was validated for 45 nm pattern fabrication under thin residual layer conditions, which are required for UV nanoimprint used as UV nanoimprint lithography. PFP reduces the viscosity and demolding force of UV curable resins. These properties are helpful in increasing the throughput and reliability of UV nanoimprint. PFP occasionally produces large shrinkages, and degrades pattern quality depending on UV curable resin. These drawbacks can be mitigated by selecting UV curable monomers with a low PFP absorption. In the end, we have demonstrated the satisfied LER and LWR values requested in 22 nm node NAND flash memories and 20,000 repeated imprints with a single mold by UV nanoimprint using PFP.

In fluoroscopy, the best proportion among kVp, mA and FHD is essential for the most effective method of raising the hit rate of fluoroscopy and decreasing useless surface dose. The most important pre-condition is to keep the brightness of the fluorescent screen uniform. Under the absolution value of brightness, 0.05 cp/m^2 for objects, i.e. legs 8 cm thick, the change of X-ray energy corresponding to that of the thickness of the object at the same brightness, was drawn throgh the development factor and this relation was shown in a chart in order to investigate the theoretical grounds of the relation among kVp. mA and FHD. These experimental results were applied to clinical examinations and good results were obtained and reported here.

航空機の航法には衛星航法システム(GNSS)の導入が進められているが,特に進入着陸フェーズにおいては垂直誘導を伴う精密進入を可能とする誘導システムの研究開発が行われている.GNSSを導入した場合のメリットの一つとして,小規模空港への精密進入方式の設定による欠航やダイバートの減少が考えられるが,定量的に評価した例はない.現実にどの程度の効果があるかを知るため,空港気象情報に基づいて定量的評価を試みた例を報告する.
