Although it is generally said that the Emperor Showa did not engage in politics in the post-World War II period, this widespread view is grounded not on the verification of the actual political form but on the argument which derives from an interpretation of the Constitution of Japan. In recent years several important records and diaries have been published, for example The Diary of Mamoru Shigemitsu, The Diary of Hitoshi Ashida, The Diary of Eisaku Sato and The Diary of Sukemasa Irie. These writers were at the center of the postwar politics. In this paper, using the documents cited above I demonstrated that both "naiso" and "gokamon" were frequent between the Emperor and the cabinet even in the postwar period. Based on this demonstration, I considered the following: 1) why "naiso" and "gokamon" were able to continue in the postwar politics, given the Emperor's intervention in politics, and 2) how they influenced the postwar politics. Furthermore, I examined the position of the Emperor Showa in the post-World War II politics.

(1) 米糠由来の食物繊維(RF)の物理化学的性質について検討したところ,他の穀類から抽出した食物繊維と比較して,吸水性,膨潤性,有機リン系農薬吸着能に優れていた. (2) RFは,鉄やカルシウムを多く吸着することができるが,解離定数が大きいために吸着した鉄やカルシウムを放しやすい性質を持っている. (3) 吸着させた鉄は,通常の調理条件では溶出しないが,胃の中を想定した強酸状態ではすべて遊離する.しかし中性状態になると再び吸着されるが,リン酸緩衝液(pH6.8)で50倍希釈すると吸着鉄の60%が遊離した. (4) RFに鉄やカルシウムを吸着させても,吸水性,膨潤性,有機リン系農薬吸着能はほとんど変わらなかった.

内服薬に関する投薬エラー発生防止を目的に、病棟に担当薬剤師を配置し、内服薬の新しい管理方法を看護師と共に立案・試行した。新管理方法の導入により、誤投薬、過量投与、配薬忘れの回避などが認められ、内服薬に関する投薬エラー発生件数を約4分の1に減少させることができた。看護師に対するアンケート調査から、「配薬業務にかかる時間が減少し、他業務に専念できるようになった」、「配薬業務に対する意識が高まった」など新管理方法を支持する回答が得られた。 病棟での薬剤師による内服薬の新管理方法は、投薬の安全性向上だけでなく、看護業務の効率化、患者サービスの向上にも貢献できると考えられた。

A physiological intensity transform function, y=Xn/ (Xn+Sn); (sigmoidal function) was introduced by examining the stimulus-response relationship in the retinal neural-cell to lightness scale.The responses of the photoreceptor and horizontal cell show that the light intensity is transformed to be nonlinear. Their transform function is the sigmoidal one, which fits to the psychological functions at low light level of the power function and at middle level of the logarithmic one.This function also explained the characteristics of Weber's ratio as a function of light intensity by adopting the effectof light adaptation, and simulated the Munsell gray scale as well as the CIE lightness function.

Neural mechanism of the retina may perform the principal role of luminosity transformation. In this paper, non-linearity of the Munsell value function was discussed on the physiological basis. Amplitude response function of the retinal neurons is approximated as a sigmoidal one V=Vmax•X/(X+S). This function may more essentially express the visual process, because it could be shown that this function includes parts well fitting to the well known psychological response functions, Weber-Fechner and Steven's law.Introducing an idea of neural adaptation to this function, the Munsell value function can be more precisely approximated. The conclusive equations were expressed as V=Vmax•X/{X+S(X)} and S(X)=X0{1+5.55•X/(X+1.8•X0)}, where X0 was background light intensity or refrectance, and X was test light one. This equation means that the adaptation level S(X) varied with two components, groval intensity (X0) and local one (X).

The frequency of the ages of the HIV/AIDS deaths and that of the patients detected before or after the development of AIDS followed normal distribution. The median of HIV/AIDS deaths was 40-44 years in 1995-1998 and 50-54 years in 2014-2016, while the median of detection of the infection as “HIV” or as “AIDS” was constantly 25-29 years; it implied that the survival time of the HIV/AIDS patients became longer by 10 years in the past twenty odd years. The lengthening of the survival time could have been attributable to introduction of HIV/AIDS therapy, such as HAART. Importantly, however, during the same period, the life span of Japanese population was lengthened by near 10 years. Under the assumption that HIV/AIDS patients died 20 years after detection of the infection, the total number of the deaths was 1,446 in 1990-2016, which was close to the total number in Vital Statistics during the same period 1,532.

The purpose of his study was to investigate the speed and the accuracy of smash strokes of forehand in which conditions of various timing and hitting point in table tennis. Two male subjects participated in the world championships, and one of them participated in The 24th Soeul Olympic Games. The pictures of the action in hitting was recorded by a video cassette recorder while the reaction of three dimentional forces of forceplate and the wave of impact on the racket were synchronized on date recorder. The results obtained as followes. 1) The ball speed were between 17.6m sec. and 26.0m sec., and the accuracy were 69 % and 74 %. 2) Player with higher performance showed higher accuracy of smash strokes in front position trend to use his leg and arm more efficiently and sufficiently for make the distance the middle point of a circle of turning of trunk shorter. 3) Player with higher performance showed higher speed of smash strokes in middle position trend to use his leg and arm more efficiently and sufficiently for make the distance the middle point of a circle of turning of trunk longer. The results obtained were as follows. It was guessed that to control the distance the middle point of a circle of turning of trunk strongly influenced on the accuracy and the speed of ball smashed in front and middle position.

オフライン手書き文字認識は、AIによる技術・アルゴリズムにとって未だに残る難しい課題となっている。これは手書きのドキュメントにて、スキャン処理を行う間に、画像内で頻繁にノイズがいくつか生じてしまうためである。スキャンされた画像にあるノイズの存在は、画像を濁らせたりぼやけさせたりし、読みにくくなってしまう。本研究では、3,036種類の日本語を含んだ607,200枚のサンプル画像の分析に、U-Netと呼ばれるCNNアーキテクチャの一つを用いて試みた。結果を通じて、U-Netには多種多様な手書きのスタイルに対しても、文字からノイズを除去し、ストローク部分を強調できるという十分な能力を持つことを示すことができた。

The Hazel Grouse (Bonasa bonasia) is a small forest grouse occurring in temperate and boreal forests from Scandinavia to the Far East. The species is assumed to have reached Hokkaido, northern Japan, via Sakhalin Island, during the last ice age about 40, 000 years ago. The subspecies occurring in Hokkaido is now recognisably distinct as B. b. vicinitas. Pairs are formed from late March to early May. During this period males whistle actively. Six to ten eggs are laid in early or mid-May and hatch in early June after incubation of 23 to 25 days. Young attain adult size by late August and have adult plumage by mid-September. The main diet consists of the leaves and seeds of herbaceous plants and trees and arthropods during late spring and summer, the buds of broad-leaved trees and vine fruits during autumn and winter, and buds and catkins in early spring. The Hazel Grouse has two large caeca supporting effective digestion of the plant fibers comprising their main diet. Hazel Grouse prefer broad-leaved and mixed forests with relatively dense undergrowth, and they avoid larch plantations in Hokkaido. Recently, the Hazel Grouse population has decreased in Hokkaido, the main cause of which is considered to be predation by the red fox (Vulpes vulpes), which increased in numbers from the early 1970s until the 1990s. Brood sizes were smaller during low population periods than during normal population periods. In order to maintain, or increase, Hazel Grouse population levels, habitat management and predator control is considered necessary.

20世紀末から近年にかけて学術、高等教育の分野において生じている「知識のオープン化」の動向について、その進展の現状を調査し、認識論・知識論における理論の観点および学術・高等教育にかかわる社会的体制の変容という観点とから考察し、その動向とその帰趨を明らかにした。とくに、哲学的観点から重要であると思われる「知識」に関する概念の変化を予想し、同時に、学術的活動の局面(ソフトウェア、学術論文、研究データ、研究活動)ごとにおけるオープン化の意義づけの相違を明らかにした。

本稿は,筆者が参加した日本語教育実習で,プレゼンテーションに向けて行った協働学習について検証したアクションリサーチである。筆者は,学習者間での学び合いを促すため,ファシリテータとして指導することを目指した。本稿では,プレゼンテーションに必要な指導を行えていたのか,また協働学習を促せていたのかを検証した。結果として,学習者のレベルや協働学習に関する経験の把握,活動目的の具体化が不十分であり,活動への介入度の高さや活動の時間設定に問題があったことが明らかとなった。しかし,これらの問題があったにも関わらず,チームティーチングでの指導や授業外での作業を増やしたことで,学習者の発表は予想よりよいものになった。今後一人で指導する際には,レベル差や学習者の人数が多いクラスの場合,今回のように指導するのは困難である。そのため,明らかとなった問題点を改善し,より効果的な協働学習が行えることを目指す。

本稿は,筆者が行ったロールプレイ授業を検証したアクションリサーチペーパーである。筆者は2018年1月に行われた実習でロールプレイ授業を担当し,円滑に進めることができた。しかし,実習後にそれは多くの学習者にとって簡単な内容だったためではないかという疑問が生まれた。クラスには様々な日本語レベルの学習者がいたが,レベルの低い学習者に合わせた授業を行ってしまっていたのである。そのため,2018年3月に行った実習ではすべての学習者にとって少し難しい内容のロールプレイ授業を行うことを目指した。そして,その方法として「タスク先行型ロールプレイ」を実施した。しかし,結果としてレベルの高い学習者にとっては簡単な授業になってしまったのではないかという思いが残った。本稿では,JFスタンダードの基準を用いてこの実習のロールプレイ授業が学習者のレベルに対応していたのか検証した。その結果,筆者のレベル把握に問題があったことがわかった。そして,タスクの選び方やロールカードの作成方法,学習者のロールプレイ後のフィードバックなどの改善点が明らかとなった。
