金沢大学大学院医学系研究科機能障害学関節拘縮発生にはコラーゲン中の架橋結合が関与し,この架橋結合はコラーゲンの可溶性に影響を及ぼす。今回我々は,ラットの足関節を7週間固定し筋および腱組織の可溶性の変化を検索しコラーゲン線維内の架橋結合の変化を推察した。その結果,ヒラメ筋については塩可溶コラーゲンとペプシン可溶化率に有意な減少を認めたが,アキレス腱については塩可溶コラーゲンに有意な減少を認めたのみであった。以上の結果から,7週間の固定により,コラーゲン線維内の架橋結合について,筋組織では架橋結合の数や強度の増加が推察されるが,腱組織では架橋結合の変化も少ないものと推察される。このことから,固定による影響は筋組織コラーゲンの方が大きいことが示唆され,組織の柔軟性の低下へつながる方向へ移行しているものと考えられる。 The purpose of this study was to investigate the change in solubility of 7 weeks immobilized Soleus muscle and Achilles tendon collagen. Left hind limb of six rats were immobilized for 7 weeks. Hydroxyproline was determined for the estimation of the collagen content in neutral salt soluble, acid soluble and insoluble collagen. In addition, insoluble collagen was digested with pepsin to determine solubility of insoluble collagen. In the case of Soleus muscle, collagen content to represent as a percent of wet weight was increased significantly during 7-week immobilization. In the case of Achilles tendon, collagen content to represent as a percent of wet weight did not change during the immobilization. In the case of Soleus muscle, the percentage of the salt solbule collagen to the total collagen was decreased significantly during 7-week immobilization. The percentage of the acid soluble and insoluble collagen to the total collagen did not change significantly during the immobilization. In the insoluble collagen, a rate of solubility with pepsin was decreased significantly. In the case of Achilles tendon, the percentage of the salt soluble collagen to the total collagen was decreased significantly during 7-weerk immobilization. The percentage of the acid soluble and insoluble collagen to the total collagen did not change significantly during the immobilization. In the insoluble collagen, a rate of solubility with pepsin did not change significantly. These results suggest that: 1) Solubility of Soleus muscle collagen, affected by intra and intermolecular crosslinks, changes during 7-week immobilization. 2) Solubility of Achilles tendon collagen, affected by intra and intermolecular cross-links, does not change remarkably during 7-week immobilization.

This paper has investigated a surge propagation characteristic on a crossbonded cable by applying a homogeneous model in comparison with a normal-bonded cable. It has been found that the former is basically determined by the inter-core mode of propagation and results in a surge voltage becoming a rather smooth and sinusoidal-like waveshape of which the oscillating frequency corresponds to the propagation velocity of the mode. On the contrary, the latter is dominated by the coaxial mode, i.e. the core-to-sheath mode, on each phase, and the surge voltage is square-like. The propagation velocity of the inter-core mode is roughly given as a difference between the coaxial and the earth-return mode velocities, and thus is smaller than the coaxial mode velocity. The maximum overvoltage on the crossbonded cable is greater than that on the normal-bonded cable in a tunnel-installed cable as is well-known, while the former has been found to be smaller in a directly buried underground cable.

目的:イエロー着色アクリル眼内レンズ(IOL)のAN6K(KOWA社)は超音波乳化吸引術およびIOL挿入術において,術後屈折度がメーカー推奨A定数による予想屈折度よりも近視側にずれる.同レンズに対するA定数を算出した報告は未だ無く,今回AN6Kの当院パーソナルA定数を算出し検討を行った.対象:2008年7月より2009年4月までにAN6Kを嚢内に挿入後2か月以上経過観察し,超音波Aモード法およびIOLマスター^TMの両方で眼軸長測定可能であり,その結果が22.0mm以上24.5mm未満の標準眼軸長眼で角膜乱視2D以内,矯正視力0.8以上を得られた46症例69眼.手術は複数の術者が施行し,IOL度数の計算式はSRK/T式を使用した.結果:術後屈折誤差(平均±標準偏差)はAモード法-0.41±0.57D,IOLマスター-0.58±0.53Dであった.Aモード法でのメーカー推奨A定数は118.7に対し,今回算出した当院パーソナルA定数は平均118.5であった.IOLマスター用A定数は119.5に対し,今症例での当院パーソナルA定数は平均119.2であった.IOLマスターにおいて,メーカー推奨A定数に比べ当院パーソナルA定数は統計学的に有意に少ない値であった.結論:メーカー推奨A定数を使用した場合の術後屈折誤差は近視化を認めた.

Does the cities enhance precipitation? It is an unsettled question and the comprehensive answer has not been archived for it. This study focuses on the urban heat excess and evaluates its influence on atmospheric instability which is the background condition for the convective precipitation. A simple approach was developed that involved calculating the daytime evolution of the mixed layer over homogeneous ground surface. Calculations were based on the ensemble average of observations. The convective available potential energy (CAPE) was evaluated for both urban and rural land cover. Urban heat excess, which was 200 W m-2 higher in the urban than rural area, increased CAPE by 75 % comparing to the rural CAPE of 513 J kg-1. Results show that cities could cause favorable stratification of the atmosphere for convective precipitation.

The purpose of this study was to examine the effect of self-compassion on help-seeking and stress response. Six-hundred seventeen junior high school students (315 men and 302 women) participated. Results suggested that high "positive attitude" and "fear and disinclination" forhelp-seeking associated with stress response. These results indicated that increasing positive attitude for help-seeking would not be able to lead improved mental health, but decreasing fear and disinclination for help-seeking would improve it. Self-compassion has negative impact for fear and disinclination for help-seeking, but doesn't increasing positive attitude for help-seeking. increasing self-compassion will elicit adaptive help-seeking for improving mental health.本研究ではセルフ・コンパッションと被援助志向性およびストレス反応の関連について,中学生617名(男性315名,女性302名)を対象とする質問紙調査によって検討した。その結果,被援助志向性のうち他者に援助を求めることに対する抵抗感・期待感のどちらもストレス反応に促進的な影響をあたえることが示された。つまり,他者に援助を求めることに対する期待感を高めるだけでは精神的健康の向上にはつながらず,抵抗感を低減させることが精神的健康の改善を促すと考えられる。セルフ・コンパッションは他者に援助を求めることに対する抵抗感に抑制的に働くが,期待感には促進的に働かないことが示唆されており,セルフ・コンパッションを向上させることは,精神的健康を改善するうえで適応的な援助要請につながると考えられる。

本報文に記載する淡水魚三種は大正十一年十月岸田久吉氏の亡友池田米造氏の手により東蒙古赤峰附近(遼河の上流老哈河流域)に於いて獲られたるものにして岸田氏の好意により本著者は數年後の今日之を査定するの光榮を得たる次第なり。右採集品は鯉科に属するもの二種並びに鰌科に属するもの一種を含めるが前者の内ウグヒ属のものは新種なり。他の二種は既に同一方面より記載せられたるものなれども採集せられたる尾數極めて少なく其原記載頗る不充分なるを以て後日此方面の淡水魚を研究する人士の參考に資せんが為め新種と併せて之を記載する事となせり。標本を提供せられたる岸田氏に對し茲に厚く感謝の意を表す。In the present paper is given a record of three species of fresh water fishes from East Mongolia obtained by late Mr. Yonezo Ikeda in the year 1922. The collection was very kindly forwarded to the writer by Mr. Kiukichi Kishida of the Zoology Department of the Imperial University of Tokyo, a friend of the collector, to whom the writer express his sincere thanks herewith.

The question this paper asks is whether theology can still claim universality. With the rise of multivalent postmodern theologies and of politically-correct mandates in public space, theology as a discipline ceases to make universal claims. However, a series of recent debates between two radically different thinkers brings a renewed philosophico-theological interest in the universal claim of Christianity. The paper focuses on the debate between Hegelian-Lacanian philosopher Slavoj Žižek and Anglican theologian John Milbank in their attempt to articulate the universal claim of Christianity vis-à-vis the domianant global political economy. The first section discusses the ontological and genealogical bases of their understanding of Christian universality. The fundamentally diverse ontologies of void (Žižek) and of peace (Milbank) are situated in the history of theology. The second section examines the role that the representation of Christ plays in Žižek and Milbank's claim of theological universality in relation to the concept of freedom.

In Plautus' Bacchides we have in Chrysalus a typical cunning slave whose trickery, more than anything else, moves the play forward. The protagonist, however, leaves the stage just before the final act without celebrating his triumph. Stage action is taken over by the Bacchis sisters seducing a pair of old men and inviting them into their house, as if to reflect the change of the title from Menander's Dis Exapaton. No triumph, Chrysalus says to the spectators, because it is all too common (1073). Does this allude to real-life triumphs (thus Ritschl, Barsby), or to a stage convention (Fraenkel, Slater)? This paper attempts to see in the play a metatheatrical reference to the role of servus callidus and, from this point of view, compares the tricks used by Chrysalus and the Bacchis sisters. Points of comparison: (1) money is gained and wasted; (2) deceptions are based on suggesting the opposite of what one's goal is; (3) victims are enslaved and deemed worthless; (4) use of slave 's services. (1): the names of Chrysalus and Bacchis are in a meaningful juxtaposition(240-42, 703-05; 53, 372-73): while Chrysalus is interested in swindling people out of their money (218-21, 229-33, 640-50), the Bacchis sisters focus on luring them into their house to make them incur losses (62-72, 85-86). (2): comparison of 90-91 and 94-100 (Bacchis – Pistoclerus), 988-1043 (Chrysalus – Nicobulus), and 1173-74 with 1184-85 (Bacchis – Nicobulus), shows that similar psychological tactics may be seen at work. (3): finding it difficult to resist Bacchis' charm, Pistoclerus wonders if he is worth nothing (nihili 91) and, once seduced, tells her 'tibi me emancupo' (92). The term comptionalis senex, used of Nicobulus swindled out of his money (976), evidently emphasizes his worthless state. The old men who are victimized like sheep well shorn (1122-28), as predicted by Chrysalus (241-42), have lost all their value (exsoluere quanti fuere 1135). When charmed by Bacchis minor, Philoxenus too admits that he is worthless (nihili 1157) and the same is confirmed by Nicobulus as well (1162). At the end, Nicobulus says to Bacchides 'ducite nos tamquam addictos' (1205). Note also grex explicitly stating that the old men have been worthless (nihili 1207) since their youth, and Chrysalus calling Cleomachus worthless (nihili homo 904) once the deal has been done. (4): while Chrysalus envisions selling Nicobulus as a slave once he gets his job done (814-15, 976-77), the Bacchis sisters seem to keep their slaves in service. Pistoclerus, a typical adolenscens, weak and wavering at the start, seems to change his role and begins to act as if he were a cunning slave (to a lesser degree than Chrysalus), making smart replies to Lydus (e.g. 125-29, 161-62), bragging about his success as if he assumed the persona of Pellio acting the role of Epidicus(206-15), and driving back the parasite sent from Cleomachus (573-611). Since addicti (1205) are to serve as slaves until they have repaid their debt, the old men are supposed to do some menial work in the sisters' house. Conclusion: Chrysalus, an expert in eliciting money from people, has no further business with his victims who are, in his view, worthless. So, once his mission is complete, he just exits with all the booty to the quaestor (1075). The Bacchis sisters seem to use "the worthless'' to create stage action. In the final act, the moment the old sheep are said to be not just shorn but mute (1138-39) and the sisters are about to exit, Nicobulus begins to speak (1140), much to everyone's surprise (prodigium 1141). It is as if a mute character who is supposed just to stand by (astent 1134) speaks out and thus opens up a new strand of action. The paradox noted here, creation from nothing, recalls Pseudolus 395-405 and sounds significant for the whole play; from the grex we hear that were it not for such useless old men, they would not even be able to put on this drama (1207-10).

原著(Original investigation)本研究では,プロスポーツチームに対するファンの愛着と,ホームタウンへの地域愛着との関係を明らかにすることを目的とした.チームに対する愛着は,所属意識をもった結果としての同一性といえる.ホームタウンへの地域愛着とは,ファンとホームタウンとの情緒的,感情的なつがなりを説明する概念である.データは,京都ハンナリーズのファンを研究対象としてインターネット調査を実施することによって収集した.スポーツ観戦者行動における分析の枠組みとしては,チームに対する愛着とホームタウンへの地域愛着の測定項目を採用した.分析の結果,次のことが明らかとなった.京都ハンナリーズがbjリーグに参入した後から観戦しているファンはホームタウンへの地域愛着が強い.チームの熱心なファンはホームタウンへの地域愛着が強い.チームに対する愛着とホームタウンへの地域愛着には関連がある.The purpose of this study is to investigate the relationships among points of attachment to a team and place attachment of a hometown for professional sport team fans. Attachment to a team is defined identification as consequences through the evaluation of sentiments of belonging. Place attachment is a concept that explains the emotional or affective bonds between a fan and a hometown. The data for this study were collected through internet survey from the fans of KYOTO HANNARYZ. The framework of analysis regarding sports spectator behavior included the points of attachment indicator and place attachment indicator. The findings of analysis include the following. The fans who started to watch a game after KYOTO HANNARYZ had joined bj league have strong place attachment of a hometown. The passionate fans of a team have strong place attachment of a hometown. Attachment to a team and place attachment of a hometown are related.
