The production of Nori (Pyropia yezoensis) in the Seto Inland Sea is getting lower because of the bleaching of Nori which is caused by nutrient deficiency. In this study, we examined effects of nutrient discharge on Nori aquaculture area in Kako River estuary. In the aquaculture area, nutrient discharge from the river, sewage treatment plant and industrial effluent sustained the Nori production in the winter season. A numerical simulation estimated the behavior of the riverine water and revealed the effects of nutrient discharge on the nutrient environment of the aquaculture area. We also evaluated the effects of moderate operation of the sewage treatment plant on the nutrient environments. We demonstrated the increase of nutrient flux in the aquaculture area and figured out the effective area of the moderate operation.

症例は60歳代, 女性. 数ヶ月前から右側腹部痛を繰り返し当科受診となった. 右尿管結石を疑いCT検査を施行したところ, 右水腎症及び下部尿管までの水尿管を認めたが, 結石は認められなかった. 逆行性尿管造影 (RU) 検査にて右下部尿管にcurlicue signを認め, 尿管坐骨孔ヘルニアと診断した. 腹腔鏡下に坐骨孔と尿管の間にメッシュを設置・固定した. 術後合併症を認めず, 現時点で再発を認めていない. 尿管坐骨孔ヘルニアに対する外科的治療法について考察した.

A prototype scanning tunneling microscope (STM) was developed to apply the STM technology for practical micro surface observation. The features of the instrument are : (1) A 3-dimensional piezo inchworm mechanism to approach and select observation area, (2) a conversion technology of tunneling current fractuation to gap fractuation and (3) an automatic approach system of electrochemically etched probe tip to tunneling effect region. Various STM images were obtained both with atomic scale and μm scale. Among them are (7 × 7) reconstructed Si (111) surface, groove shape of soft X-ray gratings and groove shape of an optical disc, which were compared with SEM and TEM images. The STM is found to be practical to evaluate an extremely fine surface structure formed with recent ultra precision technology.

本学調理科学研究室で調製した"塩漬""味噌漬""すんき漬"と市販漬物数種の品質ならびに機能性を検討した。漬物の品質は色差測定,pH測定,塩分濃度測定ならびに破断強度測定により評価し,機能性には抗酸化力の指標として「化学発光法」,「ORAC法」および「HORAC法」により評価した。<br>その結果,各野菜漬物の重量,色差および破断歪率は経時的に変化し, pHは塩漬ではpH4~6,味噌漬ではpH5.2付近を示した。また,塩漬野菜の漬け液,"味噌漬""すんき漬"は高い抗酸化力を示し,特に発酵漬物である"すんき漬"は高いペルオキシラジカルおよびヒドロキシルラジカル消去活性を有していることが明らかとなった。市販漬物においても発酵漬物である"すぐき漬"や"高菜漬"は高い抗酸化力を示した。

The effects of gratitude and indebtedness on interpersonal orientation (IO) and psychological well-being (PWB) were investigated. In Study 1, female university students (N=204) responded to a questionnaire. Results indicated that IO mediated the relationship between the obligation to repay, which is a component of indebtedness, and PWB. Moreover, gratitude had a direct positive effect on PWB. Based on these results, in Study 2, we explored why indebtedness had a positive effect on IO. We hypothesized that consciousness of reciprocal interpersonal relationship would moderate the relationship between the obligation to repay and IO. Female university students (N=199) responded to a questionnaire. Results indicated that consciousness of reciprocity, which is a component of consciousness of reciprocal interpersonal relationships, moderated the relationship between the obligation to repay and IO. These results suggest that indebtedness might have positive functions. Moreover, these results contribute to clarifying the mechanisms relating gratitude and indebtedness to PWB.

自衛官の急性音響性感音難聴20例24耳について, その回復過程を純音聴力検査にて観察した。症例は18歳から48歳までの男性であった。聴力が正常範囲まで回復した治癒群が5耳, 正常範囲までではないが回復の認められた回復群が13耳, 不変群が6耳であった。音響曝露から受診までの日数が長い症例は不変例が多かった。個々の周波数ごとの回復過程を観察すると, 4000Hzの回復が最も不良であり, 次いで8000Hz, 2000Hzの順であった。急性音響性感音難聴の予後は, 4000Hzの聴力レベルに着目し, それが徐々に回復していけば, 正常範囲まで回復する可能性が高く, 早期にプラトーに達し動かなくなると, 部分的回復にとどまると推測された。

本研究の目的は電子カルテがもたらした看護への影響を探ることである。2回のワークショップを開催し、A大学病院で電子カルテと紙カルテの双方を利用したことがある看護師としての経験年数が14~30年の看護師7名と、電子カルテのみしか利用したことがない看護師としての経験年数が3~7年の看護師4名が参加した。ワークショップでは、入院から退院までの業務内容や扱われる情報を整理し、質的に分析することで紙カルテと電子カルテとを比較した。その結果、入院から退院までの業務は「入院時」、「入院後」、「退院時」の3つの段階に分けることができ、各段階における業務内容や扱われる情報について、紙カルテと電子カルテとで共通する内容と、電子カルテ導入後の変化が見出された。電子カルテの導入によって、必要な時に必要な情報を速やかに検索できることや正確で速い情報伝達、業務の標準化・テンプレート化等、業務の見方や内容など紙カルテと比べ多くの変化が起こっていたことが明らかになった。今後は患者や職員間の直接的なやり取りや振り返りの機会を補完しうる、情報共有と価値観の醸成を支援するような看護サービスシステムが必要である。

A market where the cooking is enjoyed as experiential consumption is being roared. Enjoyment eventually improves quality of life (QOL) via elevated positive feeling. Analogously, it is meaningful to elucidate the cooking-related factors that uplift feeling to enrich the eating habits. In this research, we tried to establish a questionnaire that measures the factors to represent uplifted feelings associated with cooking. First, a qualitative pilot survey was conducted. 104 items related to the uplifted feeling by cooking were collected. Then, 600 participants answered online-questionnaire to quantitatively evaluate the degree of uplifted feelings for each item. Exploratory factor analyses revealed that the items were classified into seven factors: special feeling, cooking characteristics, physical wellness, crowding, amount and stability, rationality, and appearance. Internal consistency for each factor was satisfactory. High convergent validity was indicated based on correlational analyses. These together indicated the factors are adequate to measure uplifted feeling regrading cooking.

脱毛症の成因については皮膚科学に於いても明確な説明が得られていない。我々は鍼灸治療の種々の脱毛症に対する有効性を検討し, その治療方針を考案するために従来の成因に関する諸説, 及び鍼灸による治験報告を再考すると共に、その成因を多角的視野で検討するために脱毛症患者534名を対象として, 頭皮所見と脱毛症に伴う身体症状の調査を行った。休止期毛性脱毛症群では頭皮の血行不良と身体的過緊張に深い関係がみられた。成長期毛性脱毛症群では自律神経系の変調を想起させる症状が頭皮と身体の双方に高率に認められた。よって脱毛症は頭皮のみの疾患ではなく, 全身的機能変調の表出と考えられる。

本研究の目的は、極域に生息する海洋生物特に、食物網の底辺を支える植物・動物プランクトンに着目し、昇温や海洋酸性化に代表される環境の激変に対してこれら低次生物がどのように応答するのかを明らかにすることを目的としている。具体的には、西部北極海を研究対象海域とし、1)酸性化の脅威にさらされている炭酸塩プランクトンの応答の定量的評価、2)亜寒帯域に生息する植物プランクトン種の温暖化による極域進出の可能性の把握、3)他の海域に生息する種には見られない極域プランクトン種の特異的な機能を明らかにすることを目的としている。平成30年度は以下の研究を実施した。1海洋観測:西部北極海に2点設置したセジメントトラップ係留系の回収ならびに再設置とともにCTD/採水観測、各種センサーによる観測も行う。また、回収された係留系に蓄積された1年分の各層の流向・流速データについて衛星観測による海氷広域分布データとともに時系列の解析を行う。以上の計画どおり実施した。2海洋観測試料分析/データ解析ならびに遺伝子分析手法開発:回収された時系列セジメントトラップの生物起源粒子について検鏡による群集組成と18SrRNA配列を用いた定量的群集解析を実施する計画であった。検鏡観察による群集組成解析はほぼ計画通り実施したが、遺伝子解析については、再度、ホルマリン試料からの遺伝子レスキューの過程の見直しを実施しているところである。3プランクトンの培養・飼育実験ならびにMXCT法開発:北極海由来のプランクトンの炭化水素合成系酵素遺伝子について、現在も引き続き探索を行なうとともに、炭化水素合成量がこれまでより単位細胞あたり1桁多くなるような生育培養条件を見出す事ができた。MXCT法については、新たにオートサンプラー開発を行い、プランクトンの骨格密度測定の効率を上げ、高精度な解析が短時間で可能になるようシステムの高度化を行った。

Pictograms attract attention in supporting the non-verbal communication and using of interface icon. The existing pictograms are basically painted in monochrome. It was clarified from existing studies that we could clear the mean of pictograms using color expression. However, there were few studies which analyzed the relation between comprehensibility and color express of pictograms and few useful design indexes when painting colors of the pictogram. Then, this study aims to analyze comprehensibility of the pictograms using color expression and to abstract the visual languages. The visual languages are visual elements that composing the design of pictograms communicating information visually. Concretely, we clarified typical colors and color combinations of morphological elements in 20 pictograms conveying meanings of verbs. On the basis of this result, we investigated the relation between comprehensibility and color expression of pictograms by experimental design method. And, we abstracted the visual languages for painting colors of the pictogram and verified its usefulness. As a result, we have clarified the usefulness of some visual languages. However, the comprehensibility of some pictograms was decreased by colorization, we considered characteristics of those color expression.
