【目的】頚椎症性脊髄症(CSM)患者の中に呼吸機能障害を呈する患者はどの位いるのか調査すること【方法】2009年4月から2011年3月までの期間にCSMと診断され,当院整形外科で手術を施行された70例(男性42例,女性28例,平均年齢70.8歳)を対象とした。年齢をマッチングさせた変形性膝関節症患者を比較対照群とし,2012年8月から2014年6月までに変形性膝関節症と診断され手術目的で入院した患者66例(男性11例,女性55例,平均年齢70.2歳)を検討した。いずれも後方視的にカルテより情報を抽出した。呼吸機能は肺活量,努力性肺活量,1秒量を測定した。CSMの重症度の評価は日本整形外科学会の頚髄症治療判定基準(JOAスコア)とBathel Indexを用いた。【結果と考察】CSM群の%肺活量と%努力性肺活量は,膝OA群と比べ有意に低下していた。換気障害の分類は,CSM群と膝OA群では,正常61%と85%,拘束性換気障害33%と3%,閉塞性換気障害3%と12%,混合性換気障害3%と0%であった。CSM患者のJOAスコアの平均は9.2点/17点満点,Bathel Indexは75.2点であった。膝OA群のBathel Indexの平均は95.5点であった。CSM患者の%肺活量はJOAスコア及びBathel Indexとの正の相関(r=0.43/r=0.68)を認めた。一方,膝OA群では,肺機能とBathel Indexとの間に相関関係は認めなかった。今回の結果より,JOAスコアが低く日常生活における介助を要しているCSM患者は非顕在性に%肺活量が低下している可能性があり,呼吸器合併症予防として診断早期からの呼吸理学療法が必要と考えた。

As a member of the medical aid staff of Niigata prefecture, I stayed and worked for the children physically and mentally damaged by the devastating disaster in Nagata-ku, Kobe, from January 31 to February 7, 1995. There were few patients in a critical condition, because it was two weeks after the disaster, when I arrived there. However, there were adverse influences on children's psychosomatic states. Some children apeared apathetic and wouldn't smile, and great anxieties against coming aftershocks and irregularities in daily life were observed in other children. Several schools were partially reopened on February 4. Children complaining PTSD (psychological post-traumatic stress disorders) like symptoms just after the disaster, gradually got better after resuming their school life and begining to play as vigorously as before in the ground. It was impressed that resuming school life as soon as possible might be important for suffering children.

This lecture on "Amor Mundi and Process Philosophy: Reflections on Whitehead's Adventure or Resurrection Metaphysics" was delivered on October 11, at the 36th Annual Convention of Japan Society for Process Studies, at Momoyama Gakuin University or St. Andrew's University in Osaka. Beginning with a tanka: Hito ikani / hisan naru tomo / urakara zo / Kami tomo ni masu / mireba bishou zo( How miserable / humans might be in their lives / if seen from the back / that God is really with them / smile comes out in their faces), I will pursue the theme" how one can be geared toward love for the world despite miseries in one's life." 1. From the back; 2. God is really with us; 3. Seeing; and 4. Smile coming out, are four conditions for love for the world. In subsequent four sections I will deal with Hannah Arendt's Human Condition which has described a life-long critical dialogue with Martin Heidegger; Katsumi Takizawa's idea of an inseparable, non-identical, and irreversible relationship between God and humans critically re-considered; Whitehead's metaphysics of Adventure or the Resurrection in dialogue with Hans Jonas's Das Prinzip Leben; and John 21 to be re-interpreted from narrative theology into metaphysical theology in terms of the" Resurrection"-motif. What is pivotal is the denial of the Unmoved Mover which is hidden in Heidegger's philosophy of Sein's Geschichite and also in Takizawa's Pure The-anthropology as the source of change lying outside the universe or the world. In the case of Later Heidegger, Being─Language relationship is not mediated by any intermediary actualities and is overshadowed by the act of interpretation of the philosopher, namely, Heidegger. Arendt critiques this fact as the moment leading to Heidegger's companionship with the Nazis due to his uncritical judgment about the world affairs. In Takizawa's case, he thinks that the idea of pure the-anthropology is important in recognizing the God─Expression relation as the basic human "Bestimmung," which does not allow particular-historical elements to come in and decide. Also, Takizawa thinks that the "deep depths" or the Proto-factum Immanuel of the human existence is the sacred limitation beyond which no one can go down deeper. In this sense, the idea of the deep depths has a resemblance with the Aristotelian Unmoved Mover; it is unsurpassable as the firm basis for everything in the world while giving rise to the change of all things. For Whitehead, however, the change or transmutation of the Reality by the Adventure into its Unity of Appearance is pivotal in requiring the real occasions of the advancing world each claiming its due share of attention [AI=Adventures of Ideas=, 295]. We can acknowledge here Augustine's reference to the descending Agape as combined with the ascending Platonic Eros or Charitas (in Augustine's case). If our human life memories can ascend with the salvific help of the Risen Lord in order to be offered into the bosom of Heavenly Father, our resurrection can take place. Whitehead's final metaphysical scope is free to accept this vision in terms of his idea of the "reciprocal relation by virtue of which what is done in the world is transformed into the reality in heaven and the reality in heaven passes back into the world"( PR=Process and the Reality=, 351). In terms of Logos Theology appearing in the beginning of John's Gospel, the "reciprocal relation" is approachable by reason of the combination of the" Logos who was in the beginning"[ John 1 : 1 first line]and the" Logos who was with God [pros ton theon]" [John 1 : 1 second line]: the latter Logos is metaphysically deeper than and is inclusive of the former Logos. Incidentally, Takizawa refers to the idea of the "Logos in the beginning," but not to the "Logos with God," in terms of the Proto-factum Immanuel. Presumably, it is for this reason that Takizawa sticks to the idea of the "deep depths" which negates our deeper approach. However, the truth of the matter is that at the deeper ground of the "deep depths" the "Logos with God" is awaiting us to come down even after we perished. Further, the" Logos with God" flies and ascends paradoxically with those who have passed away by reason of the paradoxical principle: You go down deeper and deeper; and you ascend higher and higher. We know that the "reciprocal relation" is designated by Chardin as the "Center of the Universe" which is actually "Christ" (see Future of Man,esp. The two articles of my Credo: The Universe is centred─Evolutively {Above and Ahead; Christ is its Center{The Christian Phenomenon: Noogenesis=Christogenesis (=Paul)). John 21: 4 describes the "reciprocal relation" between the perishable world and immortal heaven as the fact: "Just after daybreak, Jesus stood on the beach; but the disciples did not know that it was Jesus." We must re-interpret and transform the narrative theology of John 21 into the language of a metaphysical theology such as Whitehead's vision of reality:" We perish and are immortal"[ PR, 351, 82]. From this vision of the Adventure or the Resurrection metaphysics I can think of the idea of a university appropriately in my own way. John Henry Newman's idea of the university is overshadowed by the religious sovereignty, which is radically different from Jacques Derrida's idea of the "university without condition." How can we discern the compatibility between the two? Probably we have to ask Whitehead's aims of education to come in to coordinate and say: religious sovereignty is supportable at the level of" romance," whereas in the case of Derrida's motif of the" university's profession without condition" the rhythm of "generalization" might be proper. Then, what about the precision-process? In this regard, we have to re-learn appropriately from the interreligious dialogue (esp. Buddhist- Christian dialogue) which has been flourishing during the 20th and 21st centuries.

「化粧よれ」とは, ファンデーションがほうれい線や目元などのシワに経時で溜まる化粧崩れ現象である。化粧がよれると, シワが目立ち, 疲れまたは老けた印象を与える。ゆえに, 多くの研究が着目してきた皮脂による化粧崩れ現象だけでなく, 顔の動きによる化粧よれを防止する技術が必要となる。本研究では, 化粧よれ防止技術の開発を目的とし, 化粧よれの①メカニズム探索, ②定量的評価および, ③処方への応用を行った。その結果, 化粧よれは, ファンデーションの粉が皮脂に濡れて, シワが動くことにより, ファンデーションの粉が「とれ」および「凝集」を引き起こすことで生じることを見出した。さらに, メカニズムを基に化粧よれをモデル系で再現し, 再現した化粧よれの画像をヒストグラム解析することで, 化粧よれ(ファンデーションの「とれ」および「凝集」)の定量的評価方法を開発した。最後に, この評価方法を用いて化粧品原料をスクリーニングし, 弾性ポリマーと高重合シリコーンの組み合わせが化粧よれを防ぐことを見出した。この組み合わせを処方に応用することで, 化粧よれを防ぐ化粧下地の開発へ展開することができた。

In various foods, it is often experienced that a presence of oil in food complicates the taste of the foods and makes it mild and sometimes even very delicious. However, this effect of oils on the taste of food has not been studied systematically. This paper deals with the effect of oil on so-called “five tastes”. Sugar, salt, tartaric acid, quinine hydrochloride and monosodium glutamate were chosen as the representative of five tastes, namely sweet, salty, sour, bitter and glutamate taste (“Umami”, in Japanese), respectively. Taste panel consisted of about 15 persons, who were the stuff of our laboratories and our students.Two series of experiments were carried out.1) Taking the case of sweet taste, emulsions typed of w/o and o/w of 5.46% aqeuous solution of cane sugar and corn oil were made. Each of 7.20, 6.28, 5.46, 4.75 and 4.13% solutions of cane sugar were also made. The panel made the guess which solution were equal to the sweetness of these o/w and w/o emulsions. Such experiments were also done on other four tastes as well as on some real foods such as margarine, cream and mayonnaise.2) Also taking the case of the sweet taste, 7.20, 6.28, 5.46, 4.75 and 4.13% solutions of cane sugar were made, while o/w and w/o emulsions of these solution and oil were made. The panel carried out the difference tests on these series. The number of the errors in these experiments was compared. As the results, it was found that intensity of tastes were much decreased in the w/o emulsion. In the difference tests on the emulsions of both w/o and o/w type it was much difficult to describe the differences than those on mere ageous solutions. These results seem to be able to explain to some extent the general belief, “oil makes the taste of food mild and delicious”.

Patello-femoral disorders with anterior knee pain have become one of the most important subjects in orthopaedic surgery. The greater part of them are those with chondromalacia patella, patello-femoral compartment osteoarthritis, mal-tracking patella and painful shelf. The synovial impingement syndrome in the lateral patello-femoral facets, however, was rarely found and reported here as a new disease entity. Lateral shift and degree of lateral tilt of the patella shown on roentgenograms were found to be the most useful indications for deciding to perform medialization of the tibial tuberosity. Measurements were done in knees with surgical indication of patients with ages of less than 40 years. The former was 9.9 mm±4.8 mm in 13 knees. The latter was 24.6°±9.7°in 18 knees. Subluxation of the patella is, thus, defined by either more than 5 mm of the former or more than 15°of the latter.Clinical results of medialization or advancement of the tibial tuberosity revealed that improvements of symptoms were noted in 75-85% of the 26 knees operated on, except for those with retropatellar crepitation, improvement of which was found only in 20% of the cases. The position of the patella, however, was lowered after the above surgeries in 58.8% of 34 knees operated on, especially in the elderly. Fracture of the fragment was observed in 2 of 50 operated knees as a complication, but ended in there being satisfactory results. In 9 knees articular cartilages were observed at surgery and at the time of removal of internal fixation, usually one to two years after the initial surgery. All of the knees showed regeneration of degenerated cartilage postoperatively. The dege-neration grading and regeneration staging attempted were found to be satisfactory for evaluation of disorders.

車いすの走行環境に関して, 縦断勾配や横断勾配, 段差など, 個別の課題に関する研究は行われているが, これらの多様な交通抵抗が連なっている実際の歩行空間に関する評価は行われていない。本研究では, 実際のルートにおいて車いす走行実験を行うことで, 車いす利用者にとって, 走行する時に縦断勾配などの物理的要因だけではなく, 道路横断などの心理的要因もかなり負担を感じていることを明らかにすることができた。また段差や縦断勾配, 横断勾配はその値が大きくなるにつれて負担ウェイトが指数的に増加することが明らかとなった。

本稿は、『歴史学部論集』第7、9-10号に引き続き、1886年に出版された『マルタとその産業』の第4-5、8-10章を訳出したものである。訳出の目的や同書の書誌情報など詳細については、前掲号までの文献解題を参照されたい。 今回の訳出箇所では、前掲論稿まで述べてきた19世紀後半のマルタ産業の状況とその障害を踏まえ、その解決策として、当時のマルタにおける教育や文芸の特長が解説されている。特に文芸に関しては、マルタ人芸術家たちの活躍や島外への影響を念頭においた記述がなされており、直轄植民地としてのマルタの有望さとマルタ人の有能さを強調することで、編集者たちが宗主国イギリスの関心を買おうとする様子をみてとることができる。 なお本稿内の註は原著のものであり、史料中の[ ]内は訳者による付記である。

For further development of the high performance self-lubrication materials being proof against vacuum or high temperature, cast iron fibre composites containing a large amount of graphite were investigated. The cast iron fibre of 20-40 μm in diameter and 1.2 mm in length, which was prepared by chatter-machining a ductile cast iron bar, was mixed with graphite powder and consolidated by compacting in a die, sintering and finally repressing. The optimum conditions for the processing were determined experimentally, and the composite of the almost same mechanical strength as grey iron was made with an addition of 28.8 vol% graphite. In conclusion the fibre metallurgical processing of the high performance self-lubrication composite materials of cast iron and graphite is feasible in the production.

ビール、ワイン、清酒の原料、製造法の違いが成分組成や香味に及ぼす影響の大きさについて考察し、それらの相違が結果として飲酒形態や酒質評価、表現へも大きく影響していることを述べ、具体例として、コク、キレの2評価用語をとりあげ、その評価する内容が三者で異なること、例えばワインではキレという表現は用いられない理由を考察し、更にアルコールの香味への働きが三者で異なることを述べた。

共通教科「情報」を担当する教師の問題解決指導力を育成するために,教職科目「情報科教育法」で,本研究グループが開発している「情報的な見方・考え方」と「3種の知識」を統合した指導法による実践を行った.事前-事後間の意識変化から、本指導法による実践によって,情報の教師を目指す学生は問題解決の指導に対して明確な指針と学習の必要性を感じ取ることが分かった。受講後の学生の記述からは,「問題解決のコツとしての見方・考え方の指導の重要性」「問題解決の枠組みを明示することの良さ」「全教科に共通した問題解決を教える共通教科「情報」の責任の重大さ」「トレードオフの概念の重要性」についての気づきが見られた.

オニヒトデ胃部に存在するコラーゲナーゼ, 酸性プロテアーゼはいずれもその至適pHは2.0附近にある。両酵素を硫酸アンモニューム沈澱, セファデックスG-150カラムクロマトグラフィに依り分離を試みたが成功しなかった。又CM-セルロースに依り両酵素活性は吸着されず, DEAE-セルロースに依っては両酵素とも若干吸着され, 吸着の程度においてコラーゲナーゼの方が強く(殊にpH5.0において)吸着された。EDTAを外液とする透析に依る両酵素活性の失活の程度, Ca^<++>イオン, Zn^<++>イオンに依るその賦活において両酵素において著しい差は認められなかった。然しコラーゲナーゼの方がその金属イオン要求度において強かった。以上よりして両酵素が同一タンパクではないにしてもその性質が著しく似ていることが明かとなった。ペプシンに特異的阻害剤によりオニヒトデ胃部酸性プロテアーゼが阻害されない所から, 本プロテアーゼはペプシン様酵素ではなく, この酸性プロテアーゼ標品に含まれるコラーゲナーゼ活性は酸性プロテアーゼがペプシン様酵素であるが故のものでないことを明かにした。
