太陽光発電システムを効率的に制御するためには、発電出力の予測が必要である。そして、発電出力の予測を行うためには、空の状態の変化を予測する必要がある。そこで、本研究では全天空カメラを用いて常に天空画像を取得できるシステムを構築し、空割合時系列データを抽出するアルゴリズムの提案を目的とする。まず、1分ごとに全天空画像を撮影し、JPEG画像として保存する。次に、複数枚の画像のR、G、Bを用いて分類器を訓練し、その分類器を用いて未知画像の空割合を計算する。その結果、各画像のaccuracyは曇り1.00、晴れ0.92、快晴0.89であった。快晴の日には空割合の低下が見られるが、晴れおよび曇りの日には正確な空割合時系列データが得られた。

天空率は,都市構造を表す指標の一つである。天空率測定を,魚眼レンズカメラ,全天球カメラ,Google Street View,DSM などの手法を用いて行い結果を比較した。その結果,従来使用されてきた魚眼レンズカメラに加え,これらの方法で全て実用的に天空率を求められることが分かった。Google Street View やDSM を使用する場合には,撮影した時期の建物や土地利用などが,変化していないかの確認が必要であった。樹林内や街路樹のある道路での天空率測定の場合,二値化後の枝や葉の大小が誤差の原因であり,二値化の閾値の選定に注意が必要であることが分かった。

本研究の目的は、大学生において同性および異性から好かれる男性及び女性の特性を明らかにすることであった。335名の大学生を調査対象として、「女性から好かれる女性」「女性から好かれる男性」「男性から好かれる男性」及び「男性から好かれる女性」について24項目の特性にあてはまる程度を6段階で評定してもらった。その結果、男女ともに異性から好かれる特性として「やさしい」「思いやりがある」「信頼できる」及び「友達を大切にする」が重視されていた。また、女性の方が男性よりも重視する特性が多いことが示された。一方、同性から好かれる特性については、男性と女性の違いは少なく、「話しやすい」「友達を大切にする」「信頼できる」「性格に裏表がない」「思いやりがある」「気さくである」「明るい」「おもしろい」及び「つきあいがよい」が男女ともに共通して重視されていた。

College students in Tokyo urban area( 100 women and 128 men) participated in the survey experiments. As stimulus woman faces, 4 different pictures of faces of the same young woman were depicted at the top of the survey sheet. Pictures were either makeup face or non- makeup face and they were either smiling or non-smiling face. The experimental design was 2(sex)× 2(makeup)× 2(smile) independent variable model. The dependent variables were various attractiveness items( 50 physical and mental attractiveness items) and the degree of desired relationship as a friend and a lover. Factor analysis of attractiveness items showed 3 physical attractiveness factors( beauty, sensuality and healthiness)and 3 mental attractiveness factors (sociability, competence and nervousness). Makeup had very strong effects on physical attractiveness and the desired degree of friend and love relationships for males and even for females. Smile had positive effects on sociability and sensuality by males, negative effect on beauty. Males re strongly influenced by the physical attractiveness of the stimulus woman. Sociability seemed not as important for friend relationship as for love relationship by males.

本研究では, 生後2年日の1人の子どもが, 日常生活において身ぶり動作と音声言語を発達させる過程を, 詳しく観察した。そして, 初期シンボル形成における身ぶり動作の意義と, その消失の理由を明らかにしようと試みた。その結果, 1歳3カ月半ばを境にして, 身ぶり動作の質的な変化が観察された。前期では, 対象の名前を表す身ぶり動作が多く出現したが, 後期では, 対象の状態や動作を表す身ぶり動作のみが出現した。また, これらの対象の状態や動作を表す身ぶり動作では, 後期には, 音声言語を伴って出現する傾向が見られた。さらに, 後期にはもとの状況から離れた状況でいくつかの身ぶり動作が使用されていることが観察されたが, その場合も音声言語を伴うようになっており, このことから, 脱文脈化の過程と音声言語の出現との間に何らかの関係があることが示唆される。対象の状態や動作を表現するもののうちのいくつかでは, 最初は身ぶり動作のみで表現していたものが, 多語発話になることをきっかけに, 身ぶり動作を伴わずに音声言語のみで表現するようになってきた。このことから, 身ぶり動作が消えていくにつれて, 音声言語での文構造が発達している様子が窺える。

本稿は日本語の順接・逆接仮定条件を表わす命令文を取り上げ、それを意味変化の方向性仮説の反例とする先行研究への反論を試みると共に、通時的構文文法による分析を提案する。特に、「命令から条件」への変化だけでは本質を捉えられず、「命令文と後続文の間に推意として存在した条件という論理関係のコード化」と考えるべきこと、そして、意味に加え、形式の慣習化を考慮することにより、構文化過程を明らかにできると論じる。龍城正明先生 秋篠憲一先生 中井悟先生 斉藤延喜先生 御退職記念号論文(Article)

This report describes 7 victims of sodium azide poisoning caused by drinking poisoned water. Ten employees at the poisoning site developed symptoms immediately after ingesting coffee or tea made from hot water contained in a thermos bottle. Symptoms included altered consciousness, faintness, blackout, palpitation, nausea, and paresthesia of both hands and feet. Seven patients were transferred to our institution by ambulance. We assumed symptoms were caused by acute poisoning but the causative agent was unknown. We could not rule out cyanide poisoning because of the rapid emergence of symptoms suggesting circulatory failure, so we administered amyl nitrate, sodium nitrate, and sodium thiosulfate. Symptoms rapidly subsided. The causative agent was identified the next day as sodium azide. While the victims were being treated at the emergency room, 2 doctors, 3 nurses, and 1 pharmacist complained of faintness, headache, nausea, sensations of dyspnea and eye pain. These medical staff members had all either conducted gastric lavage or treated gastric contents. This strongly suggests that symptoms were caused by hydrazoic acid formed in a chemical reaction between sodium azide and gastric acid. Our experience underscores the potential hazard from hydrazoic acid faced by medical staff treating patients with oral sodium azide intoxication.

This paper describes our recent progress in catalytic nitrogen fixation by using transition metal-dinitrogen complexes as catalysts. Novel reaction systems for the catalytic transformation of molecular dinitrogen into ammonia and hydrazine undermild reaction conditions have been achieved by the molybdenum-, iron-, cobalt-, and vanadium-dinitrogen complexes as catalysts. New findings presented in this paper may provide a new approach to the development of economical nitrogen fixation in place of energy-consuming Haber-Bosch process.
