近年、コミュニティ機能の再生においてその重要性が指摘されているソーシャル・キャピタルに関して、住民のまちづくりに対する重要度意識との関連を明らかにした。これにより、ソーシャル・キャピタル形成度合いが高い人では、まちづくり施策に対する重要度も高いという一般的な関係があることがわかった。また、参加活動よりも地域に対する誇りや信頼度がまちづくり重要度意識との関係が深く、参加活動よりも地域をどうとらえているかということがより強くまちづくりに対する意識と結びついていることを明らかにした。

The moisture reduction in fuelwood of Japanese cypress (Chamaecyparis obtusa) and evergreen oak spp. (Quercus glauca) was evaluated under some conditions differentiated in split sizes (one quarter or one eighth), drying area (paved or unpaved, roofed or unroofed), and season (winter or summer). Japanese cypress dried out more rapidly than oak. Splitting enables the acceleration of drying rate and size effect was more enhanced in oak with higher wood density. Any benefits of natural seasoning were realized within the first one or two month. Under natural seasoning with uriroofed condition, there was little benefit in longer drying period of fuelwood in terms of rainfall.

ギリシャ以来の大問題である音楽現象は、名曲・名演奏の仕組みを解明するという究極の大問題へ向かって、今日の音楽心理学、音響心理学等に引き継がれて取り組まれてきた。特に音楽心理学では1956年のL.B.Meyerの歴史的論文Emotion and Meaning in Musicに端を発してアメリカを中心に著しい研究成果を挙げてきた。が、それでも究極の大問題にはたどり着いていない。名曲の仕組みと音楽現象の解明とを結びつけることが論文の目的である。全体は考察と楽曲分析から成り立つが、理論編前半を「その1」、分析編を「その2」として、既に発表している。この「その3」は、未完成だった理論編の後半部分に位置し、認知と情動から音楽を考察する。それは生成音楽論への挑戦でもある。

プライバシ保護などに利用できるステガノグラフィ(秘匿通信)は,情報の埋め込み媒体が持つ情報の冗長性を利用するため,画像や音響信号など冗長度の高い媒体について多く提案されてきた.本論文では,ディジタルドキュメントを埋め込み媒体とし,文書内に挿入された改行コードの位置を秘匿情報とするテキストステガノグラフィを提案する.提案手法はドキュメントのレイアウト情報を利用しないため,電子メールのようなプレーンテキストに対しても秘匿情報の埋め込みが可能で,文字通信においてプライバシを保つ手段として利用できる.

In our previous paper, statistical relation between anomalous line-of-sight propagation in the VHF band and occurrences of earthquakes was presented. Basically, the anomalous propagation is mainly caused by anomalous refractive index of low atmosphere. In the present paper, the anomalies of the refractive index is captured by both the direct observation of radio ducts and the anomalous propagation in the VHF band, and the relation between them and the earthquakes are statistically clarified. Furthermore, the influences of meteorological conditions, which may disperse the anomalies of refractive index in the low atmosphere, are discussed. As a result, relation between anomalous propagation and earthquakes became increasingly clear by using anomalous propagation that concurrent with S-type ducts and meteorological conditions, wind velocity.

Ten years have passed since the Graduate School of Professional Development in Education in Japan was established. In this paper, we pay attention to what kind of change the partnership among the Graduate School of Professional Development in Education, the Local Board of Education, and the School have shown in this ten-year-old period. As a result, it has become clear that the following six things have been done through the partnership. 1) To work diverse in-service training together with University and Local board, 2) To shift the emphasis from promoting joint research to carrying out joint research together in connection with supporting schools, 3) To do collaborative research between the university and the school for quality assurance of teaching practice, 4) To introduce various teaching practice which is related to the purpose of learning in the Graduate School of Professional Development in Education, 5) To foster leadership awareness of teachers, and demonstrate it, 6) To set up a rich environment (places and people) in order to manage rich teaching practice effectively, forming partnerships with various organizations that can handle it. In order to develop these partnerships in a sustainable manner, it was found that it is important to focus on the establishment of a school that produces partnership effects and a teacher educator as a person who makes effective partnerships.

定植後に速やかに生育するトルコギキョウ苗を人工光利用の閉鎖型育苗環境で育てることを意図し,育苗開始から5週間の明期の長さおよびPPFDを明らかにしようとした.育苗は,明暗期の気温を27.5°Cとしたインキュベータで行った.PPFDを平均125 μmol・m–2・s–1とした場合,育苗開始8日後の発芽率は,明期の長さにかかわらず98%以上となった.育苗開始5週間後の苗の節位別の葉身長は,明期の長さが12 hと比較して20 hおよび24 hが大きく,定植から抽苔,発蕾および開花までの日数は小さかった.明期の長さを24 hとした場合,育苗開始8日後の発芽率は,PPFDにかかわらず概ね95%以上となった.育苗開始5週間後の苗の節位別の葉身長は,PPFDが50 μmol・m–2・s–1と比較して100 μmol・m–2・s–1および125 μmol・m–2・s–1が大きく,定植から抽苔,発蕾および開花までの日数は小さかった.これらの結果から,明暗期の気温が27.5°Cの人工光利用の閉鎖型育苗環境では,育苗中の明期の長さを20 h以上,PPFDを100~125 μmol・m–2・s–1にすることで,定植後にロゼット株が発生することなく,速やかに生育するトルコギキョウ苗を生産できることが明らかになった.
