To develop early tsunami warning system utilizing ocean radars, the evaluation of the variety of measuring coverage and data accuracy is indispensable in real oceans. The field observation was carried out at 5 minutes interval with two digital beam forming ocean radars with VHF band from 2012 to 2014 in the sea of Enshu. The high data acquisition areas are found in the extent of 17km off the coast on a hill site and of 13km on a low ground site. The measured current by the ocean radar were well correlated with that by the current-meter in the depth of 2m near the coast with the correlation coefficient of ~0.6. It is inferred that the main factor of difference in both data sets was due to the presence of wind-driven current through the multi-regression analysis with both current data and wind data. In addition, the order of the temporal current deviations as to the representative time-scale of one hour is about 5cm/s under the ordinary sea conditions, which suggest that ocean radars could sufficiently detect the current deviation due to grant tsunami.

We encountered two cases of unnatural death occurring indoors in early spring in Okayama Prefecture. The two cases were both females aged 31yearsold and 88yearsold. Autopsies revealed death from hypothermia as the cause of death. The diagnosis of death from cold was not based solely on the characteristic findings of the dead body. After confirming that there were no other accidents and diseases that may cause death, an overall evaluation should be made considering the conditions surrounding occurrence of death from cold. We describe these procedures using these two autopsy cases of death from hypothermia.

This paper verifies the response surfaces of artificial neural networks (NN) learned by using a method based on Bayesian inference. Mackay showed that the Bayesian method due to Gull and Skilling can be applied to regularization for NN. However, generalization ability has not been verified sufficiently for the NN response surface regularized by using the Bayesian method. If the NN response surface has good generalization ability, it can be used in the optimization process of response surface methodology (RSM) NN therefore was learned by using the Bayesian method to investigate generalization ability. We tried three rules for updating the regularizing constants in an objective function minimized during NN learning. All of the update rules were derived from the Bayesian method. As a result, the response surface of NN had good generalization ability, with the exception of one update rule. The poor update rule failed to determine the regularizing constants. This tendency for the update rules was recognized regardless of response surface geometry. After we selected a superior update rule, the NN response surface by using the Bayesian method was applied to an optimization problem. The response surface didn't fit noises included in teacher data, and consequently, it was effectively used to reach a solution. Finally, we concluded that the NN learned by using the Bayesian method can be used as the response surface in the process of RSM.

【背景と目的】<BR> 加齢や疾病に伴う歩行能力の変化では,歩容の側面からも重要な情報がもたらされることが少なくない.Wolfsonら(1990)は,転倒予防のための16項目の歩行観察評価を作成し,Gait Abnormality Rating Scale(GARS)として報告した.VanSwearingenら(1996)は,改訂版GARSの信頼性と妥当性を示すと共に,それが虚弱高齢者の転倒危険性を反映することを明らかにした.改訂版GARSは 7項目で構成され,それぞれ0~3までの4件法で評価し,点数が高いと歩行が不良とされる.今回我々は,改訂版GARSを遠隔環境下で実施し,この評価の使用可能性を検討したので以下に報告する.<BR><BR>【対象と方法】<BR> 対象は,当院入院中の女性患者5名(平均年齢80.0±6.4歳)とした.疾患の内訳は腰椎圧迫骨折1名、変形性股関節症1名、変形性膝関節症1名,大腿骨頚部骨折1名、膝蓋骨骨折1名であった.全員歩行可能で,認知面の問題はなかった.ヘルシンキ宣言に基づき,対象者には本研究の主旨と方法に関して説明を十分に行い承諾を得た.<BR>対象者に,片道3mの直線コースを2往復してもらった.床面は木製であった.危険防止のためセラピストが横についた.コースから垂直斜め横3mの地点にノートパソコン(pentiumM-1.2GHz, 1GB-RAM, WindowsXP)とウエッブカメラ(Qcam9000)を設置した.skype(ver.3.8)のビデオ通話機能を利用して,歩行の様子をイントラネット(100Mbps)で接続した別室のパソコン(pentium4M-2.2GHz, 1GB-RAM, WindowsXP)にて別のセラピストが観察した.SkypeのビデオをTapur ver1.3にて25fpsで録画するも,コマ落ちが目立つため遠隔ではライブ評価のみとした.遠隔評価と同時に、デジタルビデオ(69万画素)でミニDVカセットに歩行の様子を撮影しておき,1週後に,その映像を必要なだけ見直しながら,原法どおりに評価をおこなった.<BR> 遠隔評価とビデオ評価との一致率と相関係数を求め精度を検討した.<BR><BR>【結果】<BR> 遠隔とビデオ評価との各項目の一致率は60~100%で,全評価項目では77%であった.総合得点のspearmanの順位相関係数は0.9(p=0.037)と相関を示した.<BR><BR>【考察】<BR> 改訂版GARSは,skypeを用いた遠隔環境下のライブ観察でもある程度の一致度が得られることがわかった.しかし,評価を正確に行うには,高スペックのパソコンで映像を録画できることが必要である.また,今回は在宅の環境を想定して歩行距離を3mとしたが,原法に従って10m程度に伸ばすことや側面画像を送ることが精度向上につながると考えられた.今後はセキュリティーの問題を検討し,インターネット環境下でこれを実施する必要がある.

2004年から本学附属病院では電子カルテ運用を開始した。情報部門では先進的機能を開発,導入したが,レスポンス遅延と必要とする患者情報へアクセスしづらいことが大きな問題点であった。2009年からの第二期では,64BitLinuxサーバ,二階層のクライアントサーバ方式,高スペックの端末導入によりレスポンスの向上が達成できた。また,入院カルテでは紙の温度板に倣ったMedical Viewer,外来ではMedical Explorerの導入で患者情報を時系列的俯瞰的に参照可能とした。さらに,処方ナレッジ,USBメモリ認証管理システムなど先進的機能も開発した。大学病院の電子カルテの将来像を考察すると,臨床意志決定支援システム,病院経営に資するデータの提供に焦点が当てられるべきである。In 2004, we introduced the electronic medical record system that included the cutting-edge applications. However, there existed two major problems to solve in replacing the system in 2009; one was an absolute improvement of the system performance, the other was to offer the chronological and intuitive image of a patient's medical information. The former has been achieved by introducing the 64 bit Linux servers, and two-layer client/server connection, along with high specification PC clients. The latter has been achieved by developing the new applications which are designated as the Medical Viewer and Medical Explorer. We have also developed and introduced the cutting-edge tools (e.g. the prescription knowledge tool, the USB memory authentication and management system). When considering the future prospects, greater efforts should be made to develop the cutting-edge tools for supporting clinical decision making and also to provide precise data for the administrative management

国土交通省が推進するCIM(Construction Information Modeling)により,建設現場における3Dモデルの活用が急速に広まっているが,高スペックなワークステーションや特殊なソフトウェアを必要とするケースも多いことから,利用可能な状況が限られている.一方で,標準的なWEBブラウザで3Dグラフィックスを表現することが可能なWebGLは,様々な立場の利用者が3Dモデルを共有することができ,このような課題を解決できる可能性があると考えられる.そこで,本研究では,土木構造物の維持管理のうち,主に点検業務にWebGLを応用し,その有効性を検討した.

視野1°角の気球望遠鏡により波長2.4μmにおいて我々の銀河系の観測を行い,銀経l=350°〜30°,銀緯|b|O°の領域の表面輝度の分布を得た その輝度分布は,銀経方向に約15゜,銀線緯方向に約7.5°の広がりを持ち,かつl≦10゜に鋭い輝度の集中を示すBulge成分と銀河面上での輝度分布がl=10°〜30゜において平坦でその幅が約4°と非常に狭いDisk成分に大別することができる.微細構造としてl=355゜,b=0°の位置に広がった赤外線源を発見した.→観測された輝度分布には,銀河中心方向に星間塵によると思われる強い吸収が認められた.吸収を受けない前の輝度分布をアンドロメダ星雲との類似性から仮定して,星間塵の分布を求めてみると,CO分子の観測で見出された5Kpc Ringに伴なう大量のダスト以外に,銀河中心に集中したダストが存在することが予想される.これらの結果をもとに,銀河系内における星とダストの分布について1つのモデルを組立て,種々の観測結果との比較を試みる.
