端末教室における環境統一にはネットブート技術が適している.このネットブート技術を利用すると端末の一斉起動や一斉操作でサーバーやネットワークに負荷集中が生じるが,端末側にディスクイメージの複製を持つことで負荷集中を回避できる.しかしながら,各端末にディスクイメージの複製を持つように設計すると,ディスクイメージを更新した際に各端末が持つ複製が同期されるまでは負荷集中が生じがちとなり端末の高速性が失われることが課題となっていた.そこで本研究では,端末の高速化に必要最小限の領域のみを複製することでディスクイメージ更新後における端末側への同期処理を最小化し,ネットブートによる環境統一と端末の高速性を常に両立する手法を提案する.また,徳島大学の端末教室において提案手法の評価をおこない,本提案が有効であることを確認した.

IT インフラ仮想化技術の進展により,仮想化した IT インフラの構成を動的に変更できるようになった.これにより,IT システムのメンテナンスにおける IT インフラの構成変更はダウンタイムなしで実行可能となった.一方で,近年の IT システムの負荷変動は激しく,予測しにくいため,構成変更中にも IT システムに問題が発生する場合がある.その場合,発生した問題が実行中の構成変更の影響によるものか否かに基づいて,一連の構成変更処理の中断,見直しする対応が必要になる.しかし,IT システムの大規模化,複雑化により,構成変更による影響範囲の特定,及び,構成変更中断,見直しの判断は難しく,IT システム管理者は,誤った判断をする場合がある.本研究では,構成変更実行中に IT システムに問題が発生した際,構成変更の影響範囲に基づいて構成変更を続行すべきか否かを判断し,ルールベースで構成変更処理を自動制御する機能を提案する.本研究では,本提案機能を実装し,実ケースで効果あることを実証した.

SDN では,大規模なネットワークを制御するために,複数のコントローラによる分散制御を行う手法がいくつか提案されている.また,ネットワーク内のトラフィックの偏りに対応するために,スイッチの管理権限をコントローラ間で移動させる手法が提案されている.しかし,この手法は少数のスイッチの集団にトラフィック量が集中する場合,効果的に機能しないことがある.また,近年では SDN-DoS 攻撃という,帯域を圧迫せず効果的に制御プレーンのリソースを消費させる手法も提案されている.複数のコントローラによる分散型制御プレーンにおいて,この攻撃を緩和するために,コントローラ間で処理を分担する手法を提案し,性能の検討を行う.

今年の日本衛生動物学会総会に於て予研石崎氏の毒蛾皮膚炎アレルギー説とそれにつれて逢坂氏の毒蛾毒針中の毒物に関する知見が我々の所説と著しく異なつて居るとして報告された.その後予研の前記の二氏及び水野氏との間に数回の文書の往復によつて我々の意見と食いちがつた諸点があるのでこゝに一文を草した次第である.

Web ブラウザ同士を直接 P2P 接続する WebRTC 技術を用いたブラウザ間構造化 P2P ネットワークの実現手法について述べる.WebRTC には,相手ノードを直接指定してコネクションを確立できない,コネクションの確立にはシグナリングが必要,といった特性がある.本研究では,これらの特性を考慮したブラウザ間コネクション確立方式を提案する.提案するブラウザ間コネクション確立手法はシグナリングに特定のサーバを用いないため,耐故障性とスケーラビリティに優れている.提案手法はコネクション管理ライブラリ WebRTC-Manager として実装した.さらに WebRTC-Manager を用いて,Web 環境で動作する双方向リング構築アルゴリズム DDLLweb とキー順序保存型構造化 P2P ネットワーク Kirin を実現した.本稿ではこれらの詳細について述べる.

新潟大学工学部情報工学科では,Linux 環境を用いた演習を行うための計算機演習室システムを運用している.システムは主に複数台の演習用サーバと,シンクライアントである X 端末群,ファイルサーバによって構成されているが,このような常時稼働の共用システム下での利用を想定していないアプリケーションも多く,トラブルが頻発してシステム運用上の問題となっていた.そこで,利用者が多いために問題解決もより進んでいると考えられるスタンドアロンのデスクトップ PC に近い形態で実行するため,コンテナ型仮想化ソフトウェアの Docker を利用し,1 ユーザに対し 1 コンテナを実行する環境を提供することで,各ユーザの利用に合わせて起動 ・ 終了するシステムを構築した.また併せて,この際に作成した Docker イメージを学生が所有する PC 上で実行可能な形で配布することで,学生が利用できる Linux 演習環境として,新しい在宅学習システムを提案した.

In 1995, the Ministry of Tourism Malaysia established a new rural tourism product called the Malaysian Homestay Program, to encourage rural Malays to participate actively in the tourism and provide Malay Kampung as a new type of tourism product. In 2012, there were 159 homestay programs established throughout the country, with 3,424 host families in rural areas that shows increased interest from the rural community for this program. This research clarifies the benefits of this program for rural development by analyzing the following points: 1. The evolution of the Malaysian Homestay Program from 1995 until 2013; 2. The effects of the establishment of the Malaysian Homestay Program on economy, environment, society, and culture of Malay Kampung based on interviews and field investigations at the Banghuris Homestay in Selangor.

There were several architectural works which had certain "Queen Anne" motives before 1870s. Here were examined such demestic works by Philip Webb and George Devey. The house at 1, Palace Green, London, designed in 1868 by Webb seems "Queen Anne" for its sash-windows and segmental arches in red brick wall. In the course of designing this house, there were some trouble between Webb and J. Pennethorne, the architect of the Commissioners of Woods and Forests, over the style of the house. But it was a battle of style between Classical architect and Gothic one, and not the revolt of the 'Queen Anne' architects against the Gothicists. In Webb's work, there is another interesting forerunner; 14, Holland Park Road, London, designed in 1864. This house was enlarged twice in 1877 and in 1892. The enlargement shows how the original Gothic-like house which was similar to the Red House in Bexleyheath, Kent, grew into the "Queen Anne" style. At the same time the process shows the Gothic elements in the "Queen Anne" style. Concerning Devey, views among scholars differ on his importance. British scholars usually regard him as the impotant pioneer creating the new style, whereas foreign scholares do not place him such a high position. In Devey's work, especially country house Betteshanger in 1861, we find the first revival of Dutch-gable and other non-Gothic features. Although their uniqueness and novelty in detail and composition, both Webb and Devey remained within their own architectural world and they did not publish their works. That was the reason why their influence did not spread rapidly among younger architects who were anxious to creat new style. In that sence, Webb and Devey were not the creater of the "Queen Anne" fashion, but isolated forerunners.

It has been pointed out that W.E. Nesfield was a great figure in forming the Queen Anne Revival in the nineteenth century. But he was often regarded as a worse half of Nesfield-Shaw combination. So, as a first step, he must be discussed separately from Shaw. His major works were all country houses. Here was examined below four works. Coombe Abbey, 1861 Cloverley Hall, 1864 Kew Garden's Lodge, 1867 Kimmel Park, 1868 Characteristics of his composition in planning and manner of expression were summarized as follows; 1. Characteristic symmetry in exterior composition. 2. Influence of French style. 3. Influence of Japanese decorative motives. His work was quite unite unique and original, but his career as an architect was rather traditional in comparison with that of R.N. Shaw. Nesfield's originality in form and Shaw's modernity in career were both indespensable to make the "Queen Anne" powerful.

Experimental study was performed to reveal the response characteristics of a stretched cylindrical diffusion flame to sinusoidal oscillation of air flow velocity. The cylindrical flame used in this study has a convex curvature with respect to air stream and is formed in air stream. The fuel is methane, diluted with nitrogen, and the oxidizer is air. Oscillation frequency f is varied from 5 Hz to 250 Hz. Velocity at the outlet of air supplying nozzle was changed sinusoidally with four speakers. Velocity at the fuel nozzle outlet was kept constant. The air velocity at the nozzle outlet is measured using particle image velocimetry. Flame radius rf, flame thickness δ, and flame luminosity Lf are obtained by using high speed video camera. Results are summarized as follows: Though fluctuation amplitude of the velocity gradient of air stream Δga is constant with increasing f, that of the fuel stream Δgf increases. The fluctuation amplitude of rf varies to quasi-steady at low frequency, while the fluctuation amplitude is reduced with increasing f. Lf does not respond to quasi-steady at low frequency. The fluctuation amplitude of Lf has maximum value at 50 Hz and is larger than that for the steady flame corresponding to the velocity fluctuation. It is considered that this complex change of the flame luminosity with respect to f is related to δ/rf which is associated with the flame curvature effect, ga which affects the flame stretch effect, and gf which impacts fuel transport.
