RF capacitive heating is recongnized as a therapy which produces superb therapeutic effects, for it can be used over a wide range. When combined radiotherapy, satisfactory therapeutic results have been reported. As for complications caused by this therapy, however, particulars still remain unknown. This study aims at defining those complications.A total of 80 instances of therapy which were combined with radiotherapy from January, 1983 to May, 1989 were studied. Examinations were given on instances of therapy discontinued, extent of each pain and burn, influence upon cardiovascular system, and particular lesion for each pars.Instance of therapy discontinued 15 (19%). Most reasons were systemic aggravation and pain. Therapy discontinuance was seen mostly in abdomen. Intense pain and burns were observed in chest wall and hypogartrium, particularly postoperative chest wall of breast carcinoma and hypogastrium thickened with panniculus adiposus of more than 3 cm suffered most.As for influence upon cardiovascular system, increase of pulse rate was observed during the therapy in hypogastrium and chest wall. Particularly, chest wall sinister with poor P. S evidently indicated this phenomenon. As for particular lesion for each pars, interstitial pnuemonitis was caused with 2 instances of heated chest wall of which exciting cause seemed to be hyperthermia. And acute erosive gastritis was caused in the heated pars among instances of heated gastric angle.

7例の再燃前立腺癌症例に対し,13.56MHzのRadio Frequency波(RF波)による温熱療法と,VP-16,peplomycinによる化学療法を行った.その結果,4例で前立腺腫瘍内温度が42℃以上に到達したことを確認できた.腫瘍の縮小は,7例中6例で認められた.副作用は,火傷が1例,食欲不振が1例,下痢が3例に出現した.以上より,本療法は,ホルモン低抗性となった前立腺癌に対して有効であると考えられた.

Over the past decade or so, various types of heating equipment have been proposed in the field of hyperthermia, some of which have been getting clinical trials to a considerable extent. In the area of thermometry systems, systems with thermocouples have been applied for clinical use in many institutes and hospitals, and also systems with optical fibers have been making great progress. In this article, we will mainly review the features, including clinical response, of the various types of heating equipment and thermometry systems which are at present undergoing clinical trials.

Thermotherapy by 2450 MHz microwaves was performed on oral cancer patients and its effectiveness was analyzed and evaluated.Subjects were 7 primary oral cancer patients (4 lower gum cancer, 2 buccal mucosa and 1 oral floor) and 5 recurrent cancer patients (3 with cheek lesion and 2 with neck lesion). Heat was generated by a microwave apparatus of 2450 MHz.Seven cases which received intraoral thermotherapy on primary lesions were treated in combination with radiation and bleomycin. Thermotherapy was performed twice a week, up to 5-8 times in total, applyied immediately after the radiation therapy. Intraoral applicator was a flexible leakage-type coaxial applicator 2-4 mm in diameter and 40-90 mm in length. It was modified depending on each tumor size and shape. Tumor surface was heated to 42-45°C for 30-50 minutes and the heat distribution pattern of each modified applicator was checked using Phantom Model. Of the seven lesions, 6 (85.7%) showed complete regression (CR) and one showed partial regression (PR). Histological examination was made on five cases which received surgical tumor resection. Among them, one was grade III and the rest were grade IIb by Simosato's criteria. Tumor necrosis and mucosal reaction were seen at the heated site from the early stage of treatment and the thermotherapy was obviously effective.Five recurrent cancer patients received extraoral thermotherapy without radiotherapy on the cheek or neck lesions using the non-contact type applicator. Tumor necrosis was limited to the surface area and the regression effect was minimum which might be due to the lack of combination therapy of radiation.Thermotherapy seemed effective for the oral cancer when used in combination with radiation. However, more clinical experience is needed to evaluate the usefullness of this treatment.

65nm世代以降、最も一般的に用いら手いる6T-SRAMは多くの問題に直面している。そこで、我々は6T-SRAMに代わるSRAMを検討している。今回、バルクシリコンウエハーを用いて、サイリスタをSRAM(Static Random Access Memory)セルに応用することを試みた。このBulk Thyristor-RAM(BT-RAM)は、バルクシリコンウエハーを用いているために、コストを抑えることができる上に混載デバイスとの相性もよい。さらに100psの高速書き込み/読み出しが可能、オン電流とオフ電流の比が10^8以上、スタンバイ電流が0.5nA/cell以下と非常に良好な特性を示した。また、アノード領域に選択エピタキシャル技術を用いることで、理想セルサイズも30F^2(Fはデサインルール)と従来型の6T-SRAMの約1/4のサイズになっている。このようにBT-RAMは現在SRAMの直面している問題を解決し、65nm世代以降に有望なデバイスであることがわかった。

Aus Anlaβ des Erlasses der konstitutionellen Regierungsform vom Jahre 1875 zeigt sich einige Vorzeichen der 'Neigung zum Deutschland'. Nachstes Jahr Fordert der Auβenministerium, einen Rechtsberater aus Deutschland zu berufen. Im Jahre 1880 vorschlagt der Staatsrat Kaoru Inouye Kowashi Inouye, die Untersuchungsreise nach Deutschland zu machen. Die Aufgabe dieser Studie ist aufzuklaren, wie die 'Neigung zum Deutschland' im Prozeβ zum Staatsstreich vom Jahre 1881 Fortschritte macht. Dabei kann man nicht das Wesen des Kowashi Inouyes ubersehen, der seit seinem Besuch in Deutschland vom Jahre 1872 beabsichtigt, den Rechtsgrundsatz der vom preuβischen Konig autorisierten Verfassung nach Japan zu verpflanzen.

19世紀のドイツの民衆図書館は,下層民衆を対象とする貧民給食所のような慈善図書館であり,英米の影響を受けたネレンベルクらは,これを全住民を対象とする図書館に変革しようとした。民衆教育普及協会事務局長ヨハネス・テーフスは,下層民衆のための民衆図書館の普及に力を注いだ1人であった。彼は社会民主主義の影響を受け,下層民衆と労働者の教育の充実につとめ,民衆学校とギムナジウムに二分する複線型学校制度を批判した。のちにネレンベルクらの影響によって全住民のための民衆図書館論に転換し,閲覧室つきの図書会館を主張し,図書館の中立性を守るために公立化を回避し,有料制もやむをえないと言った。しかしテーフスのとらえた全住民の中心には常に下層民衆があり,これが彼の民衆図書館思想を根底から規定していたようである。

A single or multiple kinds of internal or external environmental variations of the system often cause the property variation of any system under control, and the readjustment of controller parameters is required. To maintain high performance of controlling and minimize the total cost for readjustments of the controller parameters, determination the appropriate timing for readjustment the controller parameters is important. This paper proposes new procedure to determine the appropriate timing for the readjustments based on the time-series data using the recurrent neural networks (RNNs). A well coordinated RNN with proper structure has high performance on the predication of time-series data with the assistance of its internal signal feedback structure. This paper conducts some numerical experiments to verify the availability of the proposed method to some systems. The experimental result indicates that the proposed method has higher performance than other existing method with the same aim.
