2009年に世界中で流行した新型インフルエンザA(H1N1)を対象に,発病する可能性のある感受性者<i>S</i>,保菌者<i>E</i>,発病者<i>I</i>,免疫保持者<i>R</i>へといたるSEIRSモデルを作成した.そして,特定の学校内など局所的,地域的な傾向を予測できる方法として,発病者と接触し感染する人の行動を確率的に捉えてシミュレーションする「動的解析」を行った.この解析結果を微分方程式の数値解と比較し,動的解析の有効性を確認後,現実社会への応用として,学級・学年閉鎖の効果を検討した.

Accurate estimation of accentual attribute values of words, which is required to apply rules of Japanese word accent sandhi to prosody generation, is an important factor to realize high-quality text-to-speech (TTS) conversion. The rules were already formulated by Sagisaka et al. and are widely used in Japanese TTS conversion systems. Application of these rules, however, requires values of a few accentual attributes of each constituent word of input text. The attribute values cannot be found in any public database or any accent dictionaries of Japanese. Further, these values are difficult even for native speakers of Japanese to estimate only with their introspective consideration of properties of their mother tongue. In this paper, an algorithm was proposed, where these values were automatically estimated from a large amount of data of accent types of accentual phrases, which were collected through a long series of listening experiments. In the proposed algorithm, inter-speaker differences of knowledge of accent sandhi were well considered. To improve the coverage of the estimated values over the obtained data, the rules were tentatively modified. Evaluation experiments using two-mora accentual phrases showed the high validity of the estimated values and the modified rules and also some defects caused by varieties of linguistic expressions of Japanese.

本研究は,廃棄物を利用した効率的なエタノール発酵の可能性を見出すため,糖化工程を省略したエタノール発酵におけるエタノール生成および有機酸の生成量と割合特性について検討を行った。試料には,模擬生ごみを用い,これにS.cerevisiae を接種した。その結果, S.cerevisiae と模擬生ごみに生息している嫌気性細菌による複合微生物系によって,優先的にエタノールが生成され,有機酸の種類と割合が同様な傾向になった。また,酵母接種比が高くなるにつれて,固形分減少率も高くなる傾向がみられた。 これらの検討結果より,糖化工程を省略したエタノール発酵における最適反応時間は18 時間であり,最適酵母接種比は3.45g-湿潤酵母/kg-模擬生ごみであることが分かった。

海外を含め、妊娠線に関する研究はほとんど行われていない。妊娠線の出現時期も明確になっていない現状である。今回は、妊娠線の出現経過と妊娠線出現と血清リラキシン濃度との関連をみた。妊娠28週時点で妊娠線が出現しているものがあったが、多くは妊娠34週以降に出現していた。また妊娠経過に伴い、妊娠初期・中期・後期と血清リラキシン濃度の変化と妊娠線に出現には有意な関連性は認めなかった。 妊娠線の有無の2群の差で血清リラキシン濃度の経過をみたため、出現時期別により血清リラキシン濃度との関連性は見ることができなかった。今後は今回明らかとなった出現系経過と共に妊娠線出現の原因を探索するする必要性がある。

本稿は1932年1月にウィスコンシン州で成立した失業補償法の制定過程を法案の作成から州議会における審議までを追うことによって,アメリカにおける失業保険制度の歴史的起源を探ることを目的としている。同法は全米初の失業補償制度を確立した画期的な労働立法として一般的に高く評価されている。しかし本稿では州政府や企業の裁量性を大きく認めた連邦失業保険制度の限界がウィスコンシン州失業補償法のあり方に由来するのではないかという観点から,同法の背後にある思想を明らかにするとともに,それがいかなる政治状況の下で生み出されたのかを考察する。なかでも同州での立法に際し中心的な役割を果たし,のちにフランクリン・ D ・ローズヴェルト政権下で社会保障法の制定に尽力した「ウィスコンシン派」と呼ばれる人々の思想とそれに対抗する諸勢力との関係,立法に反対し自主プランの普及を求めた実業界の動き,大恐慌の下でのフィリップ・ラフォレット知事の政策運営,州議会での共和党革新派と正統派の投票行動などに着目することによって,同法の内実を明らかにする。

It is difficult that assemble a minute machine using still minute parts. If assemble it, space and friction between the parts cannot disregard in the micro world. However, such a problem is solvable if the objective function is realized by one continuum. The continuum having such a specific function is called "Functional Continuum (FC)". In this study, the FC for the key switch of the keyboard of a notebook PC is proposed, that is the one structure key switch using the stainless thin plate. On the other hand, the existing notebook PC has the rubber dome and the pantograph as a key structure part, and the number of parts is very much. In this paper, the two kinds of test pieces are actually manufactured, and the characteristic evaluation is performed experimentally.

スピノザ『エチカ』第二部定理8は「存在しない個物」について論じている。本稿では,この定理8の『エチカ』第二部における意義及び「存在しない個物の本質」の特性の解明を試みる。『エチカ』第二部全体の主題は人間精神の存在論と認識論の確立である。この第二部において,「存在しない個物」に関する定理は,人間精神の存在論と認識論の原理である物心の並行論の具体的展開を担うものと考えることができる。また,「存在しない個物の本質」の特性は,神の属性に内在する現実的な潜在性を示していると見なすことができるのである。In this paper I tried to understand the signification of the proposition (E.2.P.8) of non-existing singular things and the properties of them in Spinoza's philosophy. For this purpose I investigated into Spinoza's arguments of the nature and origin of human mind in his Ethica pars 2. According to Spinoza, the parallelism between the mental and physical realms is the most important theory in his epistemology and ontology of human mind. The proposition (E.2.P.8) plays a part to give###shape to the parallelism. And the formal essence of non-existing singular things has the reality and is considered as the actual latency in attribute of God.

天然ガスから石油代替液体燃料を製造するGTLプロセスの基幹原料となる合成ガス製造の高効率化を目指し、直接接触部分酸化触媒の開発を行っている。第37回討論会においてCeO2+ZrO2++MgO複合担体上で効率的に部分酸化反応が進行することを報告した。より高圧、高GHSVでの反応を実現するために、本触媒の利点を活かしたフォーム触媒の調製に成功し、2000時間の長時間反応を達成したので詳細を報告する。
