A Wells turbine operating under irregular wave conditions has been analyzed theoretically. It is shown that the turbine performance depends on a unique parameter, including characteristic parameters of the irregular wave, turbine speed and dimensions of the turbine and air chamber. In order to obtain the optimum value of this parameter, a model test has been performed using a computer-controlled wind tunnel, which can simulate arbitrary oscillating flows based on spectra of irregular waves. From this value a set of optimum dimensions of a Wells turbine system can be determined. Furthermore, starting and running characteristics of the Wells turbine have been obtained by a computer simulation. It is possible to predict the optimum value of the parameter and behavior of the output coefficient by computer simulation.

歯冠修復物に対する審美的な要求は, 年々高まってきている. これに呼応して, 種々の材料が開発されており, その1つとして, キャスタブル・ガラス・セラミックスがある. ガラス・セラミックについては, 物性等は明らかになってきている. しかし, 臨床的な破折実験等も少なく, また力学的解析もほとんど行われていないのが, 現況である. 本論文は, コーニンググラスワーク社とデンツプライ社の共同開発による'DICOR'について, 力学的な検討を行った報告である. すなわち, 有限要素法を用い, 咬合力が正常または異常に補綴物に作用した状態を想定し, 応力解析を行い, 破折, 脱離等の可能性の有無について検討した.

本稿では『おくのほそ道』の平泉の章に於いて、杜甫の『春望』を踏まえている「国破れて山河あり、城春にして草青みたり」の諸外国語への翻訳文を比較し分析した。『おくのほそ道』の野坡本、曾良本、柿衞本及び西村本、これらの四つの原本を分析し、野坡本の「城春にして青〻たり」から柿衞本の「城春にして草青みたり」に至る補筆訂正は、芭蕉が句文の推敲を重ね、内容・表現上の様々な工夫をこらしたものであることを確認した。『春望』についての解釈を調べたところ、東洋の自然観が中国と日本の場合に、違いがあることが判明した。『春望』の「草木深し」を芭蕉が「草青みたり」に換えたことによって、『春望』の「詩的表現」は変わった。「城春にして草青みたり」の「草青みたり」についての先行研究の論点をまとめ、「草青みたり」の意味について考察した。

本研究は, PHSの二つの通信チャネルを使用し, 蓄積されたH.263圧縮ビデオ情報をARQで, 蓄積されたADPCM音声情報を無手順で伝送しながら再生する場合を考える. このとき, H.263の符号発生量とPHSの伝送容量がほほ等しいため, 再送による遅延はビデオのメディア内同期を乱す. 特に, 蓄積されたビデオの伝送では, 通信状態に応じた符号発生量の制御が難しく, メディア内同期をいかに制御するかが課題となる. 更に, 別の通信チャネルで同時に音声も伝送する場合, ビデオのメディア内同期の乱れは, 音声とビデオのメディア間同期の乱れとしても問題になる. そこで本研究は, ビデオや音声のメディア内同期や両者のメディア間同期を維持するために, 送信側においてBブロック廃棄制御方式を提案する. 更に, 受信側において出力開始遅延制御を適用すると共に, スライド制御方式を提案する. そして, ランダム誤りとバースト誤りの各環境下で, 実際のビデオ情報と音声情報を使用したシミュレーションを行い, メディア同期の性能評価, および主観評価により本提案方式の有効性を示す.

A learning support website was constructed using Moodle and has been used in my classroom. The students in my classes can experience student-based and cooperative activities on the Moodle website. The documents created in text format by the students are accumulated in the database of the website. This paper provides the results of sentiment analysis of career planning documents created in text format. The results indicate that the students feel relief or pleasure by setting targets, enjoying hobbies and so on. Moreover, they yearn for the items such as marriage and family life. On the other hand, they worry about their work-family balance, living alone and so on. I want to store such sentiment analyses and utilize them in mentoring.

喉頭は発声·呼吸·嚥下など多彩で複雑な機能を担っている。これらの機能の微細な調節には喉頭内の固有知覚受容器からのフィードバック機構が必要である。本稿では,喉頭の運動制御に強く関わっている筋紡錘と知覚神経終末についてわれわれがこれまでに行ってきた形態学的研究の成果を提示し,運動調節機構における役割について考察する。 ヒト喉頭について組織学的検索を行うと,外側輪状披裂筋を除くすべての内喉頭筋で筋紡錘の存在が観察できた。内喉頭筋の筋紡錘は他の骨格筋と比較して少なく,径や錘内筋線維の数などの点で小型であった。透過型電子顕微鏡による観察では,錘内筋線維の表面に瘤状の知覚神経終末が分布し,その一部は筋形質内に侵入していた。これにより,知覚受容器として効率的に機能することが推測された。内喉頭筋線維に分布する知覚神経終末は自由終末,葉状終末,らせん終末,終末球など多様な形態のものが観察され,多機能な知覚受容器として機能していると考えられた。

It is well known that fracture toughness value is affected by strain rate. As for strain rate, the dependency of fracture toughness on fracture parameter rate has been usually studied. In the linear fracture mechanics, fracture parameter rate (dK/dt) is directly related to strain rate. However, in the non-linear fracture mechanics, the relation between fracture parameter rate (dδ/dt, dJ/dt) and strain rate has not yet been made clear. Therefore, in the safety assessment of real structures, non-linear fracture parameter can not be applied in case of which the effect of the strain rate on the fracture toughness needs to be considered.In this paper, fracture initiation point is assumed to be the tip of the intensely deformed non-linear zone defined by Rice, which is considered to show the maximum triaxial constraint. Then the strain rate at the supposed fracture initiation point is given in connection with remote strain rate which corresponds to the strain rate in non-cracked plate. By use of the newly difined strain rate, strain rate-temperature parameter is determined, which represents the effect of strain rate on fracture toughness. Compact tension tests and COD tests with different strain rate and temperature, as well as KId tests are carried out to verify above conception.
