本稿は、法学の研究者と情報学の研究者が共同して、差分プライバシーを社会実装する際の法的課題を検討することを通じて、「高度化するデータ活用と個人情報保護の均衡を保つ」という社会的要請に応える研究の成果を示す。差分プライバシーとは、攻撃に対して返されるクエリ結果にノイズを付加することを要求し、プライバシー保護技術の安全性を定義する指標である。確率的意味を持つパラメーターによりプライバシー保護の程度が左右されることから、法的評価が困難な差分プライバシー技術であるが、本稿は差分プライバシーを用いたプライバシー保護の意義と限界に着目し、その法的な位置づけを明らかにする。研究手法としては、米国の国勢調査において実装された差分プライバシーをめぐる法的紛争の検討や、日本法との接続の観点から、高度な技術的手段に求められる透明性の水準・性質などの諸問題に迫る。

Heat and moisture exchanger filters (HMEFs) are commonly used in mechanical ventilation practices. We described the performances of HMEF in extreme conditions which may decrease expected moisture returns from HMEF. The experiments with dry gases were performed on the model lung-ventilator system. The test lung with soaked cotton inside was placed in the incubator where temperature was maintained at 37 °C. Relative (RH) and absolute humidity and temperature of the circuit was measured electronically (Maphy+, S.K.I. Net, Inc.). The results showed, firstly, RH went down below 90% when minute volume exceeded 12L/min. Secondary, air leak of 20% of the inspiration volume decreased RH below 90% when inspired minute volume exceeded 8L/min. Thirdly, addition of unheated cascade humidifier kept RH of the circuit at 100% in both of the above conditions throughout the minute volume of up to 20L/min by providing additional humidity of between 6 and 12 mg/L. We also reported additional effects of the atmospheric humidity as turbine ventilator inspired room air instead of dry gasses. Water content of HMEF increased approximately 8grams in seasons of high humidity whereas, that with dry gases was constantly 1.5±0.3grams(n=39). HMEF with water content of 8grams increased the inspiratory airway resistance by 33%.

Flight line personnel are exposed to exhaust emissions from aircraft engine during line maintenance work. The exhaust emissions include volatile monocarboxylic acids (VMCAs) that can cause sensory irritation of eyes, nose and throat. The purpose of our study was to determine levels of VMCAs in the exhaust emissions from F-15 fighter aircraft and T-4 JASDF jet trainer. The VMCAs in the exhaust emissions were collected by using a honeycomb diffusion denuder device, and analyzed by gas chromatography. Formic acid and acetic acid were detected in both F-15 and T-4 aircrafts. Higher levels of formic acid (163 ppb) and acetic acid (104 ppb) were detected in T-4, although those were under irritation threshold and the exposure limitations. The present results suggested that health risk of flight line personnel to those volatile acids were limited.

第二次安倍政権成立以降,国会,官僚機構,野党に対して,また与党内部でも,首相の優位が際立った。それは,1990年代以降の一連の制度改革と安倍政権下の選挙が生み出した政治的条件の帰結である。本稿では,首相の優位がとくに際立った2017年の衆議院解散総選挙と臨時国会召集の問題をとりあげ,首相の優位に対する抑制・均衡のメカニズムについて検討する。日本国憲法は統治機構に関する規定が簡略な,テクストの余白が広い憲法である。裁量的権限を規制するためには,憲法テクストと適用をつなぐものとして,政治的アクターの合意によって形成されるルール(習律あるいは政治法)が重要な意味をもつ。このような視点から,内閣(実質的には首相)による裁量的な解散権行使に対する習律による制約の可能性について,検討する。野党による臨時国会召集要求に内閣が応じないという問題をめぐっては,法律によるルール化と合理的な慣行の必要性を論じる。

本研究では,細径真直鋼繊維を適用したスラリー充填繊維コンクリート(SIFCON)版のスポール抑止性能の明確化と,それを用いた効率的な耐爆構造部材の開発を目的とした。本研究の前半では,爆薬量130~170gの条件下で,厚さ80mmのSIFCON版を対象とした接触爆発試験を行い,SIFCONを適用することにより普通コンクリートを用いた場合と比較してスポール限界となる換算コンクリート厚さを55%低減できることが示された。本研究の後半では,SIFCONとプレパックドコンクリート(PPC)より成る一体型耐爆構造版の耐爆性能について検討し,SIFCON自体のスポール抑止効果に期待するよりも,SIFCON層がPPC層で発生したスポール破壊片を捕縛する効果に期待する方が効率的な耐爆設計が可能になることを示した。

聖武天皇は、神亀₃年に難波宮に行幸し、藤原宇合を知造難波宮事に任命し、難波宮の造営に乗りだした。しかし、聖武天皇は、この行幸の前に、播磨国の印南野に行幸し、そののち難波宮にまわっている。この連続する二つの行幸には関連があるとみるべきである。聖武天皇の即位初期の行幸は、いずれも自らの皇位の正当性を明示する場所を目的地としているので、印南野行幸も同様に考えることができる。印南野にはかつて中大兄皇子が行き、祥瑞である豊旗雲を見ている。瑞雲の著名な例として、壬申の乱のさなか名張で大海人皇子が見たものがある。聖武天皇は、この両方を知っていたはずであるが、そのうち印南野に行幸したのは、その地が、節日や鎮魂祭・大嘗祭などに供される柏の採取地であったからである。印南野の柏がこれらの王権にかかわる祭祀に使用されるのは、かつてこの地の豪族と天皇家との間に婚姻関係があり、贄が貢納されていた伝統による。聖武天皇は、祥瑞を見るために天皇家とゆかりの深い印南野に行幸し、天智・天武天皇の後継者たることを自他ともに示した上で難波宮に行幸し、その皇位の正当性を象徴する宮として難波宮の造営を命じたのである。

Cleavage of cellular DNA by bleomycin substantially contributes to the antitumor activity of this drug. Two characteristics are necessary for antineoplastic action of bleomycin. First, the bithiazole region of the antibiotic has an affinity for the guanine base of DNA. Second, the β-aminoalanine-pyrimidine-β-hydroxyhistidine portion of the drug is capable of oxygen activation by the complexation with Fe (II) ion. The role of the gulose-mannose group and unique interaction between the iron-coordination site and the DNA-binding site have been also indicated. Several spectroscopic data have clearly demonstrated that the bleomycin-Fe (II) complex forms a complex with either CO, C2H5NC, or NO. The “site specific oxygen radical”, produced from an active bleomycin-Fe (II) complex, would account for the action mechanism of selective DNA base cleavage by bleomycin. In addition, the inactivation mechanism of bleomycin hydrolase and important effect of the fifth axial amino group to iron-coordination on bleomycin activity have been discussed.

The aim of this paper is to examine the ways in which the media influences tourists' choice of sights. By doing so, it aims to go beyond previous studies, which tended merely to regard the role of the media as that of reproducing images. With the spread of social media and smartphones, however, individual tourists have used media so actively that they have changed the media's roles in tourism. This exploratory study examines the role of social media, especially SNS, in this respect through interviews with Japanese tourists who have been to Joufen. The study shows (1) that tourists “actively conform” to significant others' choices when deciding where to visit through their use of SNS, and (2) that photos posted to SNS tend to generate the unintended consequence of the reproduction of images of tourist sites.
