Many studies have been performed focusing on the management of the Great Barrier Reef Marine Park Authority (GBRMPA), which is regarded as a successful model for coastal zone management. However, no study has ever attempted to examine the mechanism of coastal zone management of GBRMPA from a financial and organizational point of view. This paper attempts to analyze the development and zoning of GBRMPA with particular reference to financial and administration issues. The result shows that the authority's financial condition has improved proportionally to the enlargement of the zoned area. GBRMPA has succeeded in increasing its budget in the area of day-to-day management research, and monitoring while decreasing its administrative services budget.

本論文の目的は,1990年代末までに日本で積み重ねられてきたオフィス空間のデザインに関する研究の到達地点を明らかにし,今後の課題を明らかにすることにある。より具体的には,以下の3点を論じていく。すなわち,①1990年末までに取り組まれてきたオフィス空間のデザインに関する研究では,建築学者たちを中心としてオフィス空間内の快適性や機能性の向上に注目を向けてきたこと,②その一方で,経営学のアプローチを用いて,オフィス空間のデザインとモラールや組織内のコミュニケーションに関する実証研究が積み重ねられてきたこと,③しかしながら,これら2つの研究では,ニューオフィス化運動に代表されるホワイト・カラーの生産性向上を目的としたオフィス空間の改革時に注目されてきた,オフィス空間内でのホワイト・カラーの実際の行動やオフィス空間のデザインとパフォーマンスの関係の解明などに対して十分な実証努力が払われなかったという課題が残されていたこと,の3点が示される

This paper examines the new possibilities to think enlightenment through reconsidering Kant’s idea of enlightenment. It is often said that Kant’s enlightenment shows a fundamental paradox of education: enlightenment tries to make one autonomous but at the same time enlightenment itself hinders it because enlightenment is primarily heteronomous. In this context Kant’s enlightenment deals with an issue of abstract and closed individual. However there is another aspect of enlightenment that is includes a relationship with society and others. In order to be autonomous and mature through enlightenment, one should think publicly. That is to say, one should communicate with others and examine his view at the others’position. Kant also says that one should be a member of cosmopolitan society. I try to pick up two kinds of cosmopolitan: (1) cosmopolitan who has interests in truth, world, inner value of human being and humanity, in other words, interests which are irrelevant to his own profits. (2) cosmopolitan who has a pluralistic view point stemmed from geographical thinking. With this pluralistic and geographical view point, cosmopolitan can live actually and seek such idealistic idea. Kant’s enlightenment asks us to be such cosmopolitan and it suggests dynamic movement to be mature.

戦後,改革的芸術系大学は,如何にバウハウスの教育を受け入れ,発想法教育学は,どのように成立し,波及したかについて検証してきた。我が国では,バウハウスの基礎造形教育の実践は,主にバウハウスにおける造形理論家で教育者のヨハネス・イッテンの影響によるところが大きかった。 本論文では,そのバウハウスの影響の下,基礎造形の解釈とその制作方法について,どのような人々が教育実践を行ったかについて示す。特に福岡において重要な教育者,創造者,そしてデザイナーであった柏崎栄助の足跡とデザイン・構成教育について考察し,造形芸術における感性を研ぎ澄ます教育について考察する。

インドシナにおけるインドの一植民地であったチャムパに、初期に移住したインド人が、インドのどの地方から来たものであったか。チャムパの名そのものから、それを探ってみたいというのが、この小篇の目的である。そのため考えられることは、移住民は、たださえ故郷を忘じがたい上に、その移住先に、これを偲ばしめるものがあるばあい、故郷名を附けがちであると思われる限り、この点から、解決の鍵が見出されないであろうか。

Septic pedal osteitis refers to bacterial infection within the distal phalanx, which requires effective surgical intervention. A 3-year-old Thoroughbred colt underwent standing magnetic resonance imaging (sMRI) on the 10th day after admission (day 10), which revealed hyperintensity beneath the inner hoof wall in sagittal T2*-weighted and transverse T2-weighted sequence, suggesting abscess formation. On day 25, the second sMRI indicated development of osteitis, in which the lesion extended into the distal phalanx. This lesion was imaged as hyperintensity on T1-weighted, T2*-weighted and T2-weighted images. On day 59, laminitic changes were evident on T1-weighted and T2*-weighted images. Our case report suggests that sMRI could allow better understanding of the disease process than other conventional imaging modalities, and guide early surgical intervention.
