In the Welfare State established in the Western Europe after World War II, one of the fundamental principle is that welfare services must be provided for citizen not as charity but as rights. And it is thought that the development of the Welfare State promote the sense of solidality.After late-1970' under the crisis of the Welfare State, this principle has been criticized by many theorists. And it seems to occur that through these attacks, the essence of social security system change to more selective one. Under these circumstances, it appears to be requested to analyze rights and the idea of solidality in the Welfare State from siciological perspective.In this thesis, to analyze social rights in today's Welfare State we use the concept of distributive rights that U. K. Preuss proposes. So we make it clear that functions and problems of social rights in the Welfare State. Then we view the reconstruction of rights from procedural rights and participate rights. And we review the idea of solidality in the future of the Welfare State.

指動脈圧を無侵襲的かつ連続的に計測する容積補償式の血圧計を使用し, 本態性高血圧症16名を対象に, 洞刺による血圧応答について正常血圧群と比較検討した。本態性高血圧群では鍼刺激直後から収縮期・拡張期血圧は有意 (P<0.05) な下降を示した。平均では収縮期血圧で14mmHg, 拡張期血圧では9mmHgの下降であった。洞刺の効果は刺激後30分まで持続し, 洞刺後15~20分で最大の下降が認められた。脈圧および心拍数については有意な変化は認められなかった。本態性高血圧群と正常血圧群の血圧変化を比較すると両群共に類似した下降曲線が得られ, 両群には同様な反射が出現しているものと推察する。しかしながら洞刺による血圧変化には個体差が見られた。

西垣と佐竹は、日本の景気循環がカオス理論により説明できるかどうかを実証的に検証するため、日本のGDPデータを用い低次元の決定論的な周期を検出するための「残差診断法」を適用し分析をおこなった。この成果は、2007年8月の国際会議(10^<th> International Conference of the Society of Global Business and Economic Development)において報告する予定である。さらに、設備投資、株価、株価収益率などの複雑な循環的振動を示す時系列データを用いて、複雑性の実証分析を進めた。これらの成果は、順次論文として取りまとめ、今後、学会・国際会議等で報告する予定である。寺田、西垣、伊藤は、複素ロジスティック方程式の経済学への応用に関する成果("An application of complex logistic equation to economics")を再検討したうえで、第63回日本経済政策学会、および、第11回差分方程式とその応用国際会議(11^<th> International Conference on Difference Equations and Applications)において報告した。さらに、複素ロジスティック方程式の一層の応用研究として、粗鋼などの鉱工業生産データ、金融・実物資産などの資産ストックデータ、工業製品普及率などのデータを解析し、シミュレーション研究を進めた。寺田は、ケインジアン動学を線型ではなく非線形動学として分析するために、(1)リエナール微分方程式、(2)ファン・デル・ポール微分方程式の数学的特性の研究に特化した。この成果は、今後、学術雑誌に発表するとともに国際会議(10^<th> International Conference of the Society of Global Business and Economic Development)において報告する予定である。伊藤は、B.Scardua教授との共同研究で、CP(n)上の線型双曲線ベクトル場の幾何学的特徴づけをした。また、フランスの数学研究所CIRMで開催された国際会議「Dynamical Integrability」(2006年11月27-12月1日)で研究報告をした。

葉の熱収支式を解いて, 葉温と気温もしくは相対湿度との関係を求めた。この際, 熱及び水蒸気の葉面境界層輸送係数には, 浮力, 葉面温度分布, 群落内気流の乱れ及び葉の揺れの効果を考慮した。また, 気孔開度は, 日射量, 気温及び相対湿度の関数として与えた。気孔開度が日射量によるとともに気温の上昇に伴って飽和曲線的に大きくなる場合に, 気温が低いと葉温は比較的高いが, 湿度が一定で気温が上昇すると, 葉気温差はほぼ直線的に小さくなって, ある気温で葉温は気温と等しくなり, それ以上の気温で葉温は気温より低くなる。この“equality ternperature”は日射が強く相対湿度が高くまた風が弱いほど高くなる。さらに, equality temperature は作物の生まれた土地の温度条件に関連する遺伝的特性としてきまること, ならびに, equality ternperature は光合成の適温に重要な意味を持つことが示唆された。気孔開度は日射量と気温とに依存するが, 相対湿度に対しては一定の場合, 高湿になるに従い, 葉温は直線的に上昇する。次に, 気孔が低湿時に開く場合も, 葉温は湿度の上昇に伴ってほぼ直線的に上昇するが, 高湿時には気孔が相対的に閉じて葉温はやや高くなる。低湿時に, 気孔が閉じる場合には, 葉温は相対的に高くなる。実測値から得られた葉温と各気象要素とのそれぞれの関係は葉の熱収支のシミュレーションの結果とほぼ一致した。

本研究の目的は、複雑性PTSDに対するSTAIR/NSTの日本における実施可能性、安全性、有効性を単群での前後比較試験にて検討することである。2019年度までに8例の登録を行った。予備試験の症例の治療経過については、学会や学術雑誌にて症例報告を行った。また本課題では、STAIR/NSTの治療マニュアルやマテリアル、複雑性PTSD診断評価ツールの整備も進めてきた。その中でICD-11に基づくPTSD/複雑性PTSDの診断面接(国際トラウマ面接;ITI)の翻訳を行った。また自記式評価尺度(国際トラウマ質問票;ITQ)を翻訳と逆翻訳を経て日本語版を作成し、学術雑誌にて全文公開した。

フィリピン産の高地栽培種(スウィーティオバナナ)および従来の低地栽培バナナ(レギュラーバナナ)を用い追熟過程および加熱(焼く、蒸す)調理過程それぞれでの糖度および糖組成の変化を調べた。高地栽培種、低地栽培種の可溶性糖質含有量は高地栽培種の方が多いことが確認された。また、両者ともその主成分はスクロース、グルコース、フルクトースであるが、追熟とともにスクロースが減少し、グルコースとフルクトースが増加することがわかった。また、微量に含まれるソルビトールは減少し、オリゴ糖は増加する傾向にあった。加熱調理(焼く:180℃のオーブンで20分、30分、40分処理、および蒸す:蒸し器で10分、20分、30分処理)では、いずれも、焼き調理より蒸し調理後の糖度が高くなる傾向がみられた。焼きは30分で最も高く40分では減少していた。また、蒸し調理では10~20分で最も高く、それ以上になると、かなり減少することがわかった。

2018年8月より4カ月おきに、Google AI スピーカー(Google Home)へ、新潟大学医歯学総合病院(以下、当院)での採用医薬品各銘柄名、当院薬剤部医薬品情報管理室(以下、DI室)に寄せられた医薬品に関する問い合わせについて質問を行い、その回答の記録を続けている。当院採用医薬品銘柄名を質問した時、薬効等を回答する割合は、2018年8月の43.93%から、2020年8月には82.13%へと向上していた。DI室への問い合わせについては2018年8月では意味がある回答は0.81%であったのに対して、2020年8月には9.77%で回答が得られた。2019年12月よりAmazon AIスピーカー(Alexa Echo Show)でも当院採用医薬品各銘柄名の質問を行っているが、2020年8月の回答割合は9.95%であった。

The use of GIS in education in Japan has not yet been widely diffused, although the computer and network environments of schools have been improved, and teachers have already recognized the characteristics and advantages of this tool in education.<br> Nowadays, GIS has been intergraded into many aspects of our lives. Mobile phones are also basic tools in our daily lives. A GIS application that runs on cellular phones would be helpful in school education.<br> From this point of view, the authors have developed a system called Cellular Phone GIS including a GIS application for mobile phone (hereinafter Cell Phone GIS Application) and its web-based GIS viewer application for PC using Google maps (hereinafter PC viewer), and carried out fieldwork at an upper secondary school using these tools. Data can be input and edited outdoors with the Cell Phone GIS Application. These data can be viewed on both cellular phones and personal computers via the Internet. Students carried out a land use survey in the area around the school with the Cell Phone GIS Application, and examined and presented the results using the PC viewer in class.<br> Students participated actively in the fieldwork with the cellular phone. Through experience of the survey with the tool, they found many new things and learned to adopt multi-dimensional points of view and ways of thinking. Also, this project generated more interest among students in geography classes.<br> The Cell Phone GIS Application provided high school students with a feeling of accomplishment from the fieldwork. Meanwhile, this tool and PC viewer minimized work after fieldwork because users do not have to input and aggregate data again. Therefore, teachers and students can use course hours efficiently. The Cellular Phone GIS can provide an environment in which students are able to receive educational effects from fieldwork.

慢性膵炎診療ガイドラインが2015年に改訂され,新規糖尿病治療薬であるインクレチン関連薬の慢性膵炎に伴う膵性糖尿病の使用についてのClinical Questionが追加された.現在のところ,慢性膵炎の糖尿病に対するインクレチン関連薬の有効性を示すエビデンスの報告はなく,診療の上でベネフィットがリスクを上回ると判断した場合に限って使用することが提案された.さらに,sodium glucose co-transporter 2(SGLT2)阻害薬も新たに登場してきたが,現在のところインクレチン関連薬と同様に慢性膵炎に合併する糖尿病に関しての有効性を示すエビデンスはない.

We investigated differences in the frequency of sports injuries between individual and team competition players and between males and females, and we also examined the influence of subjective evaluation of stressors on sports injury frequency. College athletes (N=133) were asked to complete a scale of daily and competitive stressors and to answer a questionnaire on the frequency of sports-related injuries. Chi-square analyses revealed that there were no differences in injury frequency between individual and team competitive players, but that male athletes had a significantly higher frequency of injuries than females. Simple regression analysis revealed that subjective evaluation of "competition results"and "expectations of, and pressure from, others"influenced the sports injury frequency.These results suggest that the frequency of sports injuries is associated with sex and with cognitive evaluation of competitive stressors.

陰圧性肺水腫(negative pressure pulmonary edema:NPPE)は,上気道閉塞に伴う胸腔内圧の急激な低下により発症する非心原性肺水腫である.診断や治療の遅れは致命的になる可能性があるが,速やかな診断と治療を行えば,短時間で大きな合併症もなく回復することができる.日常診療において内科医が本疾患に遭遇する機会はあり,忘れてはならない疾患の1つである.痙攣発作後に持続する低酸素血症の際には,NPPEを鑑別の1つとして挙げるべきである.

Water environment of the River Mirumae receiving the effluent from a sewage treatment plant was investigated based on the data on water quality, attached algal biomass and benthic animals. Although residual chlorine remained in the effluent, the amount of attached algal flora was increased in winter. The inflow of the effluent decreased the diversity of benthic animals and it changed the structure of benthic animals in the River Mirumae. It was concluded that the secondary treatment can not conserve the sound water environment in river receiving the effluent from sewage treatment plants.
