自動吻合器を使用したPPH (procedure for prolapse hemorrhoids) 法により痔核手術を施行したが,術後に巨大な直腸粘膜下血腫を生じ排便困難になった症例を経験した.患者は69歳女性で,痔核の脱出を主訴に外来受診し, Goligher分類ではIII度内痔核であったため手術を施行した.手術は肛門拡張器を肛門内に挿入し, Purse-string Suture Anoscopeを順次回転させながら2-0プロリンにて直腸粘膜に巾着縫合を全周にかけ,自動吻合器により切除を行った.巾着吻合の糸を索引した際に下腹部痛,嘔気および徐脈・血圧低下を訴え,術後も下腹部の違和感が残っていた.術後4日目になっても便が排出されず,肛門診の際吻合部に疼痛を訴えたため術後7日目に骨盤CT施行したところ,直腸に直径約7cmの粘膜下血腫を認めた. PPH法は手技も簡便で術後痔痛が少ないなど利点も多い.しかし安易な施行は合併症を起こすことを認識し,適応と手技を十分に検討していく必要があると思われた.

By using Synthesized Crystal Growth Technology which can simultaneously grow several kinds of semiconductor crystals on a single substrate, it is proposed that high-performance Synthesized-CMOS Devices with high electron & hole mobilities can realize both of ultra high speed operation and ultra low power dissipation. Assuming the supply voltage of 3.0V and operation temperature at 77K, it is estimated that CMOS devices fabricated by the combination of (p-GaAs/n-Ge) crystals may show the most high performance characteristics among many combinations of element and III-V compound semiconductors. From the circuit simulations of CMOS inverter chain, delay time (τ) and product of delay time and power dissipation (τP) may be improved by a factor of 15 and 14,respectively, in comparison with the conventional Si-type CMOS devices. Moreover, it is expected that the integration density of the Synthesized-CMOS Devices may become higher by about 10 times.

Web3D技術とモーションデータを用いて,古典バレエのソロダンスを3次元CGアニメーションとして再生できるシステムを作成し,"Virtual Dance Theatre"と名付けた.モーションデータは,プロのバレエダンサーの実際の演技からモーションキャプチャシステムを用いて収録した.このシステムでは,利用者は3次元CGの環境でダンスアニメーションとそれを視聴する視点を対話的に制御することができる.このシステムは,(1)ダンスの記録・保存,(2)ダンスの学習・教育,(3)ダンスの研究・分析,(4)ダンスの鑑賞・娯楽の応用領域で有望である.そこでバレエ関係の専門家の協力を得て調査票による評価実験を行った結果,このシステムが通常のビデオ撮影よりも有用であることが明らかになった.

We report a case of tsutsugamushi disease found in south western Shikoku. A 64-year-old male who lived in Towa Village in Kochi, developed a fever and headache on April 6, 1994, and was admitted to Uwajima City Hospital on April 15, with a ten-day history of illness. He had an eschar on the right anterior side of the breast and an enlargement of the right axillar lymph node, without a rash. Laboratory data showed mild liver injury and atypical lymphocytes with 6% in peripheral blood. After his blood was drawn for rickettsial isolation, the minocycline was administered. His symptoms improved rapidly and was discharged in good condition.We successfully isolated the causative agent, Rickettsia tsutsugamushi, and designated it as the Shiba strain. High antibody titer against the Kato, Karp and Gilliam strains was detected in serum on admission and increased during the course of the disease.In Shikoku, tsutsugamushi disease is rare and only 13 cases were reported during last ten years. Especially in south western district of Shikoku, there have been no case reported since 1960. This case is important epidemiologically and suggests that we should pay attention to this disease.

本研究では、教育学部に所属する学生が、大学生活の中で不安や葛藤を乗り越え、教師としての自己を形成していく過程に着目した。とくに、現在感じとっている教育実習不安だけでなく、将来、自分が教師になったときの不安について取り上げ、どのような不安を抱いているのかその時間的展望を明らかにし、その不安を推し量る心理尺度を作成する。そして、その尺度をもとに、教師を目指す学生が抱く将来の不安が現在の教師効力感、実習経験、教師志望度にどのような影響を与えるのかを明らかにし、小学校教員養成における家庭科教育の在り方について総合的に検討を行う。

近年, 個人によるコンテンツの不正利用として, 音楽や映画などのネット上での交換, 雑誌やコミック, アイドルの写真集などのインターネット上への無断公開など, 著作権を侵害する行為がカジュアル化し, 大きな問題となっている.本稿では, コンテンツ流通における不正利用防止技術の現状, 技術的な課題, 将来展望について解説する.

長寿高齢化社会を迎え,アルツハイマー病の予防・治療への関心が高まっている。アルツハイマー病は認知症(老人痴呆)の一種で,脳の萎縮や軽い記憶障害から始まり,進行すると家族の顔すらもわからないという深刻な状態に陥る病気だ。

本研究では,爆発荷重を受ける鉄筋コンクリート構造物の設計法及び防護法の確立に資するため,豊浦標準砂を用いた覆土の有無,ペントライト爆薬の質量及びスタンドオフ距離をパラメータとして鉄筋コンクリート版試験体の近接爆発試験を実施し,試験体に生じたクレータ,スポール及び貫通孔の発生状況に着目して検討を行った.その結果,爆発荷重に対する覆土の緩衝効果が明確に認められること,McVayのスポール損傷予測法を基に本研究で提案した方法により,覆土のない場合の鉄筋コンクリート版の損傷をより精度よく予測できることなどが明らかとなった.

大学生の新卒内定率が非常に低い水準であるなか、大学において提供する、キャリア教育を意識した教育プログラムに注目が集まっている。しかしこのような大学教育の試みはまだ歴史が浅く、キャリア意識・職業意識に関する研究も蓄積が少ないのが現状である。本稿では、愛媛大学と松山大学の社会科学系学部に属する学生がどのような職業意識を持ち、どのような特徴を有しているかを明らかにする。本研究の成果は、学生の実態にマッチした教育プログラム構築に有益な示唆を与える。

We examined the fecal contents of the raccoon dog,Nyctereutes procyonoides Gray,collected in three evergreen broad-leaved forests of Takakuma University Forest of Kagoshima University,Tarumizu,and an evergreen broa-leaved forest at Shiroyama,Kagoshima,from May to December 2001. Feces contained seeds,sarcocarp,plant fragments,insects and other arthropods,shells of molluscs,animal bones,and others. In summer,insects occupied the majority of the fecal contents,while,in autumn and early winter,seeds and sarcocarp became dominant. Species composition of the insects and trees extracted from the feces varied among the forests and seasons. The feces collected at Shiroyama,surrounded by the urban district of Kagoshima,contained seeds of prune and Japanese apricot and fragments of vinyl,aluminum sheet,and cloth. These results suggest that raccoon dogs have a flexible food habits and can change their food items in response to food composition in their habitats. We discussed how to conserve raccoon dog populations urban forests where the interference between raccoon dogs and human activity has been increasing.2001年5月から12月にかけて,鹿児島大学農学部附属高隈演習林(鹿児島県垂水市)の3林分と鹿児島市城山において,ホンドタヌキの新しい糞を採取し,その内容物を調査した。タヌキの糞には,植物の種子,果肉,組織,昆虫類,その他の節足動物,軟体動物,ほ乳類や鳥類の骨などが含まれていた。このうち,夏は昆虫を中心とした動物が多く含まれ,秋から初冬にかけて植物の種子や果肉の割合が増加した。糞に含まれる昆虫や種子の種類は林分間で異なり,市街地と接している城山では,人間の生活に関連していると考えられるプラムやウメの種子の他に,ビニールやアルミホイル,布なども回収された。これらの結果から,タヌキはその生息環境に応じて,その食性を変化させる能力を持っていると考えられた。人間との接触機会が増加しているタヌキの個体群の保全について考察した。

Design of a very precise space structural system requires an accurate estimation of uncertainties on structural and environmental parameters. For the purpose, high accurate estimations of uncertainties of the structural parameters and the effect of the paremeter uncertainties on the structural response uncertainty are required. Then, the robust design optimization based on the accurate estaimation is required. This study focuses on the former part, a high accurate estimation of the uncertainties. The applicability of a bootstrap method known as a nonparametric technique is investigated to estimate the confidence intervals of the uncertain parameters related to vibration responses of simple structures. The target structure is a cantileverd bow-shaped structure composed of beam and tether that is a breadboard model of a lightweight space reflector. The confidence intervals identified from several numbers of vibration tests is compared by the nonlinear finite-element analysis.
