集合住宅のベランダ計画・設計の基礎的資料を得ることを目的とし,東京都区内集合住宅での居住者へのヒアリング及びベランダ観察調査から,利用の現状と居住者意識の分析を試みた。集合住宅では園芸が多くの居住者に望まれており,趣味・楽しみや安らぎ・潤いを与えている。ベランダ広さの満足感は,鉢植え設置可能面積の確保と関係が深いと言え,要求緑量に対する提供すべきベランダ広さ算定の(延べ幅に着目した)指標作成についてその可能性が示された。また鉢植えは,リヒング前・柵腰壁・広い奥行き・物干し竿無し、という位置に配置され易く,植物高さの違いによる配置の偏りも見られる。更にベランダ利用の実状と計画との違いも見られた。

Herpesviral hematopoietic necrosis of goldfish has caused mass mortalities in the USA, Australia and European countries as well as in Japan since 1993. Still we have no ways to treat this disease. We tried passive immunization by intramuscular injections with anti GFHNV-IgY(egg yolk antibody)in order to protect goldfish from GFHNV infection. Injected IgY containing anti GFHNV-IgY was absorbed into the blood serum at high concentration in the day 1 after three injections, which was maintained to the day 7. The immunized fish were challenged by immersion with GFHNV at 10-3 and 10-4 dilution in the day 1 post immunization and were protected from GFHNV infection at 40.0% and 87.5% RPS respectively. Histopathological observation revealed no signs of virus infection to hematopoietic cells in survivors, indicating neutralization of virus with IgY. Electron microscopy revealed apoptosis-like features of virus-infected cells, resulting in prevention of viral maturation and virion release out of the cell.

明星電気株式会社は、小型気象計POTEKA Sta.(ポテカ:Point Tenki Kansoku、以下POTEKA)を開発した。POTEKAは気温・湿度・気圧・感雨・日照を1分間隔で測定でき、従来気象計と比較して安価で、設置が容易なため稠密な設置及びデータ収集が可能である。そのPOTEKAを用いて、伊勢崎市内小中学校及び同市周辺のコンビニ(SAVE ON)に約1.5~4km間隔で計55ヶ所に設置した。本稿では、顕著な観測事例として8月11日に高崎市・前橋市で発生した突風現象の観測結果について紹介する。8月11日18時頃に高崎市から前橋市にかけて突風が発生し、住家の屋根の飛散などの被害がみられた。POTEKAの気温1分値を見ると、最大12分間で-13.9℃の気温低下がみられた。前橋地方気象台発表の突風経路に近いPOTEKAの海面補正した気圧の1分値時系列を下図に示す。気象台の10分値の気圧は徐々に増加していく傾向しか見られないが、POTEKAの1分値では、1~2hPa程度の一時的な上昇がみられた。これはダウンバースト発生時の下降流による一時的な気圧上昇であると示唆される。さらに詳しく見ると、気圧の上昇は2回発生している地点もあり、1回目はガストフロントによるもの、2回目はダウンバーストによる上昇と考えられる(詳細は「地上稠密観測POTEKAによるダウンバーストとガストフロントの識別」を参照のこと)。今回の稠密観測のようなダウンバースト・ガストフロント発生時の地上における気圧変化を、これほど細かい時間的・空間分解能で観測した事例はほとんど見られない。このような稠密観測をすることによって、突風の種類の判別や突風に対する事前の注意喚起が出来る可能性がある。謝辞:本プロジェクト始動にあたり、サンデン(株)殿、(株)セーブオン殿、伊勢崎市教育員会殿にはPOTEKA設置のご協力を頂きました。ここに御礼申し上げます。

65歳,女性.高血圧,肥満症で加療中であったが,全身倦怠感,尿閉のため当院受診した.両側水腎症を認め,腎後性腎不全に対し経皮的腎瘻造設術を施行したが,腎障害改善なく,原因不明の遷延性乳酸アシドーシス,無症候性低血糖も認められた.持続的血液濾過透析を施行下に腹部造影CT検査を施行し,腹壁皮下結節および腹直筋の不整肥厚などを確認した.皮下結節およびリンパ節の生検にて形質芽球性リンパ腫と診断した.化学療法を開始し,乳酸アシドーシスや低血糖は速やかに改善した.悪性腫瘍,特に血液系腫瘍ではWarburg効果がみられることがあり,原因不明の乳酸アシドーシスでは,原因として悪性腫瘍の可能性を念頭に精査する必要がある.

Fans and blowers are used in many kinds of industrial fields. The targets for the development are high efficiency, low costs, high reliability and low noise. The reduction of the noise is one of the most important issues for the axial fan. In this research the effect of the blade sweep on the performance and the flow field is investigated by using CFD. By using the results of the numerical study, y500mm prototype axial fan is manufactured and carried out experiments for performance and noise. The effect of the sweep on the performance and the noise are clarified. The influence of rotating stall and back flow on the noise is experimentally clarified.

本研究においては,ブラジャーを対象に,CAE技術を用いた商品設計技術を構築することによ,商品機能の発現の原理解明を行い,既存の設計技術では両立が困難であった「防振性」と「快のトレードオフの関係を解決し,着用快適性の高いブラジャーの開発検討を行った. 人体及びブラジャーの3次元有限要素モデルを構築し,着用シミュレーションを行い,仮想的に験を繰り返すことで,着圧の上昇を抑えつつも,高い防振性を有する最適な商品構造を導く可能なことを明らかにした.また,シミュレーション結果と実際の着用試験による結果の比り,高い整合性も見られたことから,CAE技術による商品設計技術の有用性も明らかにすができた.

This study developed a motivational regulation strategies scale for cooperative learning, and examined the relationships among strategies, motivational factors, and engagements. First, a self-reported questionnaire with open-ended questions was administered to 261 undergraduates, and 46 items were developed for the motivational regulation strategies scale. Next, a self-reported questionnaire pertaining to these items was administered to 284 undergraduates. A factor analysis indicated a five-factor structure for motivational regulation strategies in cooperative learning. The results of a partial correlation analysis among these strategies, self-efficacy, and intrinsic value supported the construct validity of the scale. The results of multiple regression analysis indicated that behavioral engagement was positively correlated with strategies to enhance a sense of duty, self-efficacy, and intrinsic value. Emotional engagement was positively correlated with active interaction strategies, strategies for structuring learning activities, and intrinsic value, and was negatively correlated with strategies to enhance a sense of duty. The effect of motivational regulation strategies on cooperative learning is discussed based on the present findings.

<p>Previous findings regarding the effects of living in urban environments on residents' subjective well-being have been inconsistent. The present study developed a scale to measure the multifaceted nature of urban living environments and investigated the aspects of urban environments that enhance or reduce residents' life satisfaction. We conducted two online surveys in which adults living in urban or rural areas in Japan (1,000 participants for each survey) completed the Multifaceted Urban Living Environment Scale and the Life Satisfaction Scale. Results indicated that urban living environments are characterized by quality of facilities, life convenience, life unpleasantness, and easy accessibility to public transportation. Of importance, each of these aspects affected residents' life satisfaction differently. Specifically, the quality of facilities was positively associated with life satisfaction, whereas life convenience was negatively associated. However, life unpleasantness and easy accessibility to public transportation had no effect on life satisfaction. These results suggest that it is important to measure the multifaceted nature of urban living environments to gain a deeper understanding of the effects of urbanization on residents' subjective well-being.</p>

本研究はテスト学習場面を対象に,認知的方略,動機づけ調整方略とテスト学習時間との関連について検討した.研究1では,38名の専門学校生に対して質問紙調査を行い,認知的方略,テスト学習時間,テスト得点との関連を検討した.研究2では,63名の大学生に対して縦断的な質問紙調査を行い,動機づけ調整方略とテスト学習時間との関連を検討した.分析により,以下の結果が示された.(1)テスト学習時間を統制するか否かによって,認知的方略とテスト得点との関連が変化した.(2)認知的方略に比べ,テスト学習時間の方がテスト得点とより強い正の関連を示した.(3)興味高揚方略と成績重視方略がテスト学習時間と正の関連を示し,価値づけ方略と協同方略が負の関連を示した.

精巣原発悪性リンパ腫(Primary testicular lymphoma:以下PTL)はstage Iでも精巣摘出術と化学療法のみでは対側精巣と中枢神経系に再発しやすい予後不良の疾患である.今回,我々は初回治療として対側精巣照射及び髄注療法を加えたにもかかわらず, 6年後に中枢神経系に再発した症例を経験したので報告した.

TAZ/PIPCおよびTAZのマウス, ラットおよびイヌにおける単回投与毒性を検討し, 以下の結果を得た。1. マウスおよびラッ卜ではTAZ/PIPC, TAZともすべての投与経路において軟便がみられ, 皮下, 腹腔内および静脈内投与では自発運動の低下あるいは呼吸数の減少などもみられた。TAZ/PIPCの静脈内投与の死亡例では, マウスで振戦, ラットで間代性痙攣を呈し死亡し, 剖検では肺の充血, 出血または水腫, 消化管の出血などがみられた。また, TAZ/PIPCを投与した生存例の一部に脾の腫大がみられた。2. イヌではTAZ/PIPC投与により嘔吐がみられ, TAZ投与により嘔叶, 呼吸異常, 軟梗あるいは下痢便などがみられた。3. マウスおよびラットでは, 本剤の刺激性による投与部位の脱毛(皮下投与), 尾部の壊死(静脈内投与), イヌでは投与前肢の跛行がみられ, 剖検では壊死, 出血, 腹膜炎(腹腔内投与)などがみられた。4. TAZ/PIPCでは, マウスおよびラットの経口, 皮下および腹腔内投与でのLD50値は, 5,000mg/kg 以上(雌雄)であった。静脈内投与ではマウスが5,000mg/kg以上(雄), 4,565mg/kg(雌), ラットが3,157mg/kg(雄), 3,992mg/kg(雌), イヌが5,000 mg/kg以上であった。TAZでは, マウスおよびラット(雌雄)の経口, 皮下, 腹腔内, 静脈内投与およびイヌの静脈内投与ではLD50値は5,000 mg/kg以上であった。

新しいメディアやデバイスなどの最新技術と、様々な人のアクセスのしやすさや使いやすさに配慮した「最新のアクセシビリティ」への取り組み事例として、NEC公式サイトのデザインとその検討方法を紹介する。企業のウェブサイトは、生活インフラとなる重要な情報発信を担っており、迅速で確実な情報提供を行うことが求められている。一方、企業が「最新のアクセシビリティ」に対応したデザインを維持する難しさは年々増し、継続的に適切な対応が出来ている企業は少ない。本事例では「最新のアクセシビリティ」に対応する「ウェブサイトのデザイン」と、その状態を維持するための「社員の誰もが対応できるデザインのしくみ」、「持続的に対応するための組織と体制づくり」を整理し解説する。

In the dopamine transporter scintigraphy there are two quantitative analysis softwares, DaTView and DaTQUANT. The quantitative value of both software has to be treated independently because there is a difference between them in the point of how to set the region of interest on the striatum and the background, calculation formula of quantitation. And also DaTQUANT has a capability of performing anatomical standardization which DaTView does not have. The aim of this study was to evaluate the accuracy of registration on DaTQUANT using a phantom, and to evaluate the correlation between the quantitative values between DaTView and DaTQUANT using clinical data. As a result, the accuracy of registration was acceptable. Regardless of the degree of accumulation in the striatum, there was a high correlation to each analysis software (r>0.85).

<p>This study investigated the determinants of <i>exchange anxiety</i> in close relationships—generalized worries that one's partner will replace him/her with a more suitable person. We hypothesized that exchange anxiety would increase when individuals compare themselves with others who are more competent (experiencing upward social comparisons), especially in environments where they cannot easily find alternative relationships (environments with low relational mobility). By experimentally manipulating the type of social comparison, the results from Study 1 revealed that undergraduates (<i>n</i>=299) living in environments with low relational mobility felt stronger exchange anxiety when they experienced upward social comparison than downward social comparison. In Study 2, an online survey was conducted with a sample of adults living in either urban or rural areas (<i>n</i>=1000). The results showed that the frequency of upward social comparison was positively associated with exchange anxiety and that this tendency was moderated by the combined effect of relational mobility and trait self-esteem. These results suggest that the characteristics of one's interpersonal environments affect the impact of the perceived risk of being replaced on exchange anxiety in one's close relationships.</p>
