超高齢社会を迎えるなかで, 高齢者のQOLを支えるためには口腔の管理と口腔ケアが不可欠と考えられる.ここに大田区の特別養護老人ホームにおける昭和大学歯科病院の訪問歯科診療の実態と2003年度の訪問歯科診療の概要について報告する.我々は1998年より同施設の依頼により訪問歯科診療を開始した.現在は毎週木曜日の15 : 30~17 : 30まで, 歯科医師4名と歯科衛生士1名で往診を行っている.2003年度の歯科診療は同施設と歯科病院外来の合計で200件, 口腔衛生指導は226件で, 全ての合計は426件であった.2003年度の歯科診療は義歯に関するものが105件と半数近くを占めた.次いで, 歯科医師によるスケーリングなどの歯周治療が61件, 残存歯の削合や充墳処置など保存関連の治療が14件であった.他には, 抜歯・摂食相談・粘膜疾患など多岐にわたった.これより, 訪問歯科診療には各専門科の連携が必要であることが示唆された.歯科病院外来での治療は通院が必要かつ可能な場合においてのみ行われた.通院件数は43件あり, 内容は義歯の製作と充填処置・抜歯処置であった.しかし, 歯科病院への通院は入居者・施設職員ともに大変な負担を強いることとなるので, 今後は施設内でより高度な歯科治療を提供できるように診療器材を充実させる必要があると考えられた.

In sociology, many studies have pointed out that the combination of marriage with love had not been established until the modern era. The purpose of this paper focusing solely on Japan is to clarify the essence of the transformation of love that is conjectured from the fact that the Japanese word “ren-ai” means approximately the same thing as the English “love” or the French word amour. Furthermore, ren-ai has been prominent use in Japan since the Meiji period. Through an analysis of ‘love, ’ I want to provide and to show the grounds for an argument that understanding historical change in a specific mode of communication is one way to make clear endemic elements of “modernity. ”

本論文は、ユダヤ教共同体が一五〇〇年間、社会的にパーリアの状態にあった共同体の内部において形成したユダヤ法の精神文化の意義を考察する。古代ユダヤ社会は、西暦一世紀から二世紀にかけて、ローマ帝国からの独立を目指して二度の大戦争を交え、神殿の崩壊、社会の壊滅、エルサレムからの追放といった一連の苦難を受けた。そののち彼らは、政治的自立と独立の夢を放棄し、唯一神の教えの徹底的な学習と実践を自らの生きる道と定めることを決断した。そこから導かれるタルムードの学問は、神への愛に基づいて、徹底した討論によって理性的に相手を説得する方法であった。それは、ユダヤ賢者が預言者の伝統である偶像崇拝との闘いを継承したことによって達成された。その具体例をタルムードにおけるラビたちの思惟方法と討論における論証法の中から抽出したい。ここでいう偶像崇拝とは、社会的権威への盲従や、先入見に無批判な知的怠慢に対する批判的態度であって、ラビたちが新たな形式での偶像崇拝批判を宗教的人格形成の根幹にすえたのである。

This paper validates a mathematical model of McKibben pneumatic artificial muscle (PAM) systems which has been presented. Using PAMs manufactured by ActiveLink, FESTO and Kanda Tsushin Kogyo, it illustrates the validation results of whether to simulate their behaviors.

<b>要 旨</b><br> 精神科治療における面接は, 対話を通してクライアント自身の問題を見つめるための「鏡」であるとも言える. この鏡を作り出すのが治療者の役割で, 「鏡」が曇っていたり, 歪んでいては, 正しく状態を映し出すことができず, 適切な治療を行うことができないため治療者が自分自身の鏡を調整することが重要なことは, 自明なことである. 本稿では筆者が有用性を実感し, 同業の精神科医にすすめている省察の具体的な方法を論じる.

The degree of confidence under uncertainty can be described by two aspects: cognitive and behavioral. The present study was designed to examine the relationship between cognition and behavior by measuring confidence scores and conforming responses to cue information in two-choice prediction situation. Probability of cue information being positive was 1.0, .75, .5, .25, and 0. The main results were as follows: (a) Both confidence scores and conforming responses depended on cue information, but while asymptotic confidence scores approximated the probability of positive information under any condition, rates of conforming responses exceeded the probability of positive information except under a 100% condition, (b) in the early stage of trials the pattern of conforming responses markedly differed from that of confidence scores, and (c) confidence scores changed sensitively according to accuracy of cue information. These findings suggest that confidence and behavior result from different sources respectively, and that many biases appear particularly in behavioral aspect.

Japanese judges usually spend their entire legal career as judges. Many of their legal jargons are unique to their professional circle and reflect their cognitive structure about legal issues."Suji" and "suwari" are among such most frequent jargons. "Suji", whose lexical translation is "line", is often used in a phrase "suji ga warui", meaning "suji is bad for this case". Such a phrase might be translated into "this case has a bad logic or an unclear background". The phrase is typically used to describe civil cases, and is less often spoken of by other legal professionals. "Suwari", whose direct translation is "well-seatedness" is similarly phrased, but it is, arguably more often used to describe judgments that are already made at courts of lower level.The present study is an attempt to give quantitative description of these two concepts by a cognitive psychological approach. As the first stage of our study, we made intensive interviews to seven retired or current judges. Based upon the interview result, we structured the questionnaire.As the second and final stage, we sent out the questionnaires to all the retired judges in Japan (1, 120), out of which 339 were returned. The respondents were asked to respond in psychological judgment scales, to fictitious cases in which some crucial details were manipulated as experimental variables. Statistical analyses on these variables are worked out to render experimental description of these concepts as correlates to and functions on more direct legal perceptions.

カプセル自動販売機(通称「ガチャガチャ」)にインタラクティブ性を付与したシステムを開発した.本システムはカプセルに封入された玩具に RFID タグを埋め込み,販売機には RFID センサ及び液晶ディスプレイを組み込むことで,購入した玩具を用いてインタラクティブな遊びを可能にする.提案するシステムを用いて,キャラクタにまつわる物語を提供するアニメーション提示アプリケーションと,複数人による協調プレイを想定した戦闘ゲームの二種類のアプリケーションを製作した.We developed a tangible entertainment system that enables to play video game with physical collectibles as game components. It consists of a capsule toy vending machine with LCD panel, capsule toys with embedded RFID tags,an RFID sensor board and a computer. We developed two applications using the system: an narrative animation application and a battle gamewhich allows collaborative multi-player game.

Sarutahiko is well known god from Japanese mythology. An indication of his popularity with the populace can be seen in the more than ten other names the god also has been given. Moto’ori Norinaga discusses Sarutahiko in his Kojikiden and argues for the multiplicity of the god’s personalities. Nevertheless, there are numerous aspects of the god’s origin that remain unclear. Most of the research is in linguistics, anthropology, literature and other fi elds; however, there is very little that examines the god from the larger vantage of East Asia. This essay turns to documents related to the mythology of the Kojiki and the Nihongi and compares this myth with similar myths found throughout East Asia to re-evaluate Sarutahiko’s traits. In particular, the essay focuses on the function of the god through pursuing one of his names, Chimata-no-kami.
