The skin permeation can explain with Fick's diffusion model. Skin concentration depends on partition coefficient between skin and vehicle and concentration in vehicle. However it is changed with various factors, activity of ingredient in vehicle, effect of other ingredients on skin, the change of formulation after application and so on. Thus, if the same concentration of active ingredient is in the formulation, the skin concentration or skin absorption is not always the same. It is important to know the skin penetration and permeation of cosmetic ingredient for the assessment of not only toxicity but also efficacy.

In 2008, the Nobel Prize in Physics were awarded for Dr. Yoichiro Nambu, Dr. Makoto Kobayashi, and Dr. Toshihide Maskawa. Dr. Kobayashi and Dr. Maskawa are graduates of Nagoya University. In this report, we will review on the particle physics, which they studied. It will be claried what we know about the particle physics and what we do not know. Recently we obtain several clues about the particle physics from the observations of the universe. It will be mentioned why and how the cosmology is related with the particle physics.

カリー・ハワード同型を古典論理にまで拡張することにより,M.Parigotは古典論理の証明項を表現する体系としてλμ計算を導入した.本論文では,万能的な計算モデルの観点から,タイプフリーのλμ計算でもD. Scott流の外延的モデルが存在することを示す.そのために,(η)規則も妥当とするCPS変換を導入する.そして,D × D ≅ D ≅ [D → D]を満たす任意の領域Dから外延的λμモデルを構成する.さらに,合流性やC-monoidsとの興味深い関係についても論じる.

肩関節障害は運動器の障害であるが幅広い領域で対応が求められる。どの領域にも通じて必要になることは肩関節自体の病態やその機序を把握することである。特にバイオメカニクスは病態の機序を理解するのに不可欠であり,肩関節障害の理学療法における一つの基盤である。評価においては疼痛,可動域,筋力に関するものが主体となる。疼痛の原因の一つには物理的刺激があり,その種類として1)肩峰下インピンジメント,2)関節内インピンジメント,3)伸張の3つが挙げられる。疼痛の評価ではこれらの物理的刺激がどのようにして生じているのかを知ることが重要である。関節可動域や筋力の評価においては肩関節に関連する関節や筋の構造について熟知しておく必要があり,それによってなぜ制限や低下が起きているのかが明確になる。治療においては構造異常による不利益と治療効果の限界を踏まえながら,残存機能を最大限に発揮できるようにアプローチしていくことが要点となる。

生徒に現実場面を基にした問題解決の体験をさせるために、陸上競技のリレー場面を取り上げた。生徒自身でデータを抽出し、そのデータから回帰線を予想・判断させた。その過程でグラフ電卓を問題解決の道具として利用した。また、総合的に生徒の学習を捉え、数学の授業に限らず他教科(体育)との合科として指導展開した。その結果、(1)グラフ電卓を利用することにより、扱いの困難であった現実場面問題の教材化が、例えば関数的な内容において、中学生(3年)に対しても可能である。(2)生徒の情意面では、単に数学の有用性の感得・体感に留まらず、原題材への再検討や新たな問題抽出の意識の高まりが少なからず発生する。(3)合科的授業展開により、問題解決の有機的な効率化が図れる等が明かになった。

The purpose of this study is to analyze and clarify the independence consciousness of female university students of China applying psychological research methods. In the course of the study a questionnaire research was conducted on eighty three Chinese female university students with regard to the scales of Cinderella complex and the social role attitudes. Firstly the results indicate positive correlations between the independent variable of "defend-family-traditionalism factor" with three factors of dependency, lack of confidence and responsibilities evasion, a particularly strong correlation being found with the dependency factor. Secondly Chinese female students who are the single child of their families showed stronger dependency on their families than those who are not. Finally the number of students who do not choose to find an employment immediately after the graduation is increasing, which shows a correlation with the lack of confidence factor. The findings appear to suggest that as a result of rapid changes in the social environment and public principles Chinese female university students, who have been regarded as having a high level of independence, are beginning to show multi facets hat cannot be thoroughly comprehended by the traditional framework of consciousness.

Objectives: We aimed to determine the effects of age, period, and birth cohort on cervical cancer mortality rate trends in Japanese women, by age-period-cohort (APC) analysis. Additionally, we analyzed projected mortality rates. Methods: We obtained data on the number of cervical cancer deaths in Japanese women from 1975–2011 from the national vital statistics and census population data. A cohort table of mortality rate data was analyzed on the basis of a Bayesian APC model. We also projected the mortality rates for the 2012–2031 period. Results: The period effect was relatively limited, compared with the age and cohort effects. The age effect increased suddenly from 25–29 to 45–49 years of age and gently increased thereafter. An analysis of the cohort effect on mortality rate trends revealed a steep decreasing slope for birth cohorts born from 1908–1940 and a subsequent sudden increase after 1945. The mortality rate projections indicated increasing trends from 40 to 74 years of age until the year 2031. Conclusions: The age effect increased from 25–29 years of age. This could be attributable to the high human papilloma virus (HPV) infection risk and the low cervical cancer screening rate. The cohort effect changed from decreasing to increasing after the early 1940s. This might be attributable to the spread of cervical cancer screening and treatment before 1940 and the high HPV infection risk and reduced cervical cancer screening rate after 1945. The projected mortality rate indicated an increasing trend until the year 2031.
