[Abstract] This paper is a report on the symposium “Sound Media History and Sound Art: The Current Status of History, Creation and Archives” held at the National Museum of International Art, Osaka, on February 16, 2020. In response to the development of Sound Studies in English-speaking countries, historical research into audio media, including recording technology, has been gaining momentum in Japan in recent years. Rather than audio media being viewed as “music device” exclusively, a series of discussions that attempt to see it as a historical form linked to science and philosophy, and to the transformation of human sensibilities and bodily views, have important implications that can also be linked to Visual Culture Studies, which is also experiencing remarkable development. This symposium attempts to communicate with experts in related fields, such as sound artists, record archivists, and curators, in order to re-examine the current circumstances of such studies of sound media history.

This paper studied the enacting process of the Application fee for Building confirmation. Conclusion of this study is as follows; 1) In the process of enacting the Building Standards Law, the maximum amount and the maximum amount above a certain scale were added to the article after the legal examination. 2) In the process of enacting the Enforcement Order, detailed provisions were established with eight levels of area classification. 3) In order to make the maximum upper limit equal to the conventional amount, the area scale of the corresponding category was set too small as a standard for the future.

元関脇出羽ヶ嶽の全身骨格に関する形態学的資料を報告する.計測はマルチンの教科書に準拠して行ない,結果を Table1~11にまとめた.写真はマイクロニッコール55mm で撮影し, Plate1~6にまとめた. X線写真は距離1.2mで撮影し,直焼像を Plate7~14にまとめた.X 線写真のスケールは骨自体の人きさではなく,フィルム面上の像の大きさを表わしている.骨格の形態学的記載および現代日本人との比較は,この資料報告に先行する本報告(巨人関脇出羽ヶ嶽骨格の形態学的研究,鈴木他1986)に載せた.

1900年前後にヘンリク・メルソムが撮影した極東のガラスネガ50枚余りがノルウェーの博物館に保存されていた。これらのなかから、朝鮮半島沿岸の捕鯨に関連する写真13枚について、撮影地や被写体を調べて比定した。写真には、蔚山の長生浦捕鯨事業場や長箭湾と金剛山、ロシア太平洋漁業会社の捕鯨船ギヨルギー号と乗組員や長崎捕鯨に傭船されたメイン号、長崎の世界文化遺産の小菅修船場などが含まれていた。20世紀初頭の朝鮮半島沿岸の捕鯨に関した写真はめずらしく、良好な画質はとくに貴重である。

超高齢化社会が近未来ではなく,すでに現実となった今日,高齢者医療の問題は切実である.介護疲れによる心身のストレスから介護者のうつ病の発症や高齢被介護者への虐待の増加などが社会的に大きな問題となっているように,心身医学的見地からも高齢者の心身医療の重要性は増大している.高齢者介護のメンタルケアの面から,介護キーパーソンの心身疲労度の把握を目的に,福岡県中部に位置する朝倉地区における介護支援利用者の介護キーパーソン35名(男性5名,女性30名,平均年齢71.4歳)に対し,利用者の日常生活自立度,介護キーパーソンの介護負担度,GDS(高齢者うつ尺度)などのアンケート調査を行った.高齢である介護キーパーソンの多くはうつ尺度が高く,心身疲労の状態にあった.今回の調査では高齢者介護において,介護キーパーソンを含めた介護家族への社会的メンタルサポートが重要であることが示唆された.

The juvenile of Indonesian coelacanth, Latimeria menadoensis is here described for the first time in detail with comparison to embryos of Latimeria chalumnae. The juvenile was found in free swimming at 164.6 m depth off Manado, Indonesia on the 6th October in 2009. Because the total length of the juvenile is 31.5 cm, which is smaller than the embryos of L. chalumnae, it is speculated that not much time has passed from its birth. The depth at which the juvenile was found is within the range of the depth where adult L. menadoensis were observed, hidden in a narrow and long overhang where large predators could not enter. The juvenile has a more slender body, smaller orbit, shorter and deeper posterior part of the body (caudal peduncle) between the second dorsal and the anal fins and anterior ends of the dorsal and ventral lobes of the caudal fin (the third dorsal and second anal fins), longer dorsal and ventral lobes of the caudal fin (the third dorsal and second anal fins), broader peduncles of broader lobed fins, larger first dorsal fin and longer supplementary lobe of the caudal fin (caudal fin) than embryos of L. chalumnae. This indicates clear differences in the first ontogenetic stages of the two species, although adults have almost the same morphological features. Latimeria menadoensis appears to reproduce in a rather confined area, because both the juvenile and adults have been found within the same area inside of Manado Bay.

Patent strategy is crucial for universities' pharmaceutical R&D. The university's intellectual property department usually manages its patents. However, in the past, patent management by the Institute for Infectious Diseases at the University of Tokyo was different from that of the modern-day University of Tokyo. The institute had an employee invention regulation in 1930; however, the status of patent applications and management at the institute before and after the end of World War II is not clear. First, to clarify the status of patent applications, old documents related to patents stored at the institute and patent gazettes were examined. These documents revealed that the institute filed patent applications in line with the objectives of its pharmaceutical development and manufacturing business. Next, by analyzing the decision documents related to patent applications of the institute, the authority and cost-sharing at the university were confirmed. Hence, it is argued that patents at the institute were managed in an integrated manner with the development strategy at the institute in charge of pharmaceutical development, and not at the intellectual property headquarters of the university.

We need to accomplish not only esthetic restoration of the deformity of the lip, but also functional reconstruction of the orbicularis oris muscle. Many procedures have been developed and modified to result in the best outcomes of cleft lip repair. Among several procedures, the rotation advancement method is personally preferred because it discards a minimal amount of tissue.   The authors have been performing surgery by the rotation advancement method, which results in a nearly straight scar to improve the outcome of philtrum plasty. We have been using Mimura's design in the vermillion to repair the labial tubercle. We have also been applying the muscle suspension method, which entails suturing the nasal and nasolabial muscle bundles to the anterior nasal spine for functional reconstruction. This report describes our techniques and points out important details.

〔目的〕異なる速度条件での歩行分析から歩行障害の原因を推測し,前庭リハビリテーションを行った結果を報告する.〔対象と方法〕対象は54歳男性の多系統萎縮症(MSA-C)患者である.異なる速度条件(至適・高速・低速)で歩行分析を行ったところ,低速度条件で歩行変動が増大したため,小脳片葉小節葉の病変による平衡機能障害が歩行障害の原因と判断し,前庭リハビリテーションを9日間実施した.〔結果〕重心動揺検査とFunctional Gait Assessmentの成績が向上し,治療前に観察された低速歩行時の歩行変動が減少した.〔結語〕MSA-C患者に対して歩行変動の速度依存性に着目し,前庭リハビリテーションを行うことで歩行不安定性の改善につながった.

日本における図画のわいせつ性をめぐる裁判に関しては、その恣意性が批判されてきた。ただし、それらの批判は、わいせつ裁判が必然的・蓋然的に恣意的になることを主張するものであり、個別具体的な判決のどの部分がいかなる意味で恣意的なのかを分析・考察する方向性は開かれていなかった。そこで本稿は、図画のわいせつ性をめぐる裁判に関して、その恣意性を考察するための準拠点を析出する分析方針を提示することを目指す。 まず、裁判の恣意性を指摘する既存研究を批判的に検討する。第1に、図画をわいせつである/ないと見ることは必然的に恣意的だとする立場が、法的判断の恣意性の分析を目指すためには有益でないと論じる。第2に、法的判断が恣意的か否かという問題は、裁判官が判決を形成した際の動機を推測することによってではなく、判決の正当化の論理を分析することによって検討されるべきだと論じる。 そのうえで、法的判断の正当化の理解可能性を支える概念の論理文法を分析するという方針を提示する。同方針のもとで、具体的事例として愛のコリーダ事件一審判決を分析し、解明された概念の論理文法を参照するかたちで、当の法的判断の恣意性を考察する。結論として、図画のわいせつ性をめぐる法的判断の正当化の理解可能性を支える概念の論理文法を分析することが、その法的判断の恣意性の考察にとって有益であると主張する。
