中能登農道橋は, 石川県中島町と七尾湾に浮かぶ能登島を結ぶ全長620mの海上橋で, 橋長170mのPC2径問連続箱桁と, 橋長450mのPC3径間連続斜張橋で構成されている。PC斜張橋の中央支間は230mであり, わが国最大級の規模であるとともに, 支持層が約50mと深く多数の転石を含む悪条件下において鋼管矢板井筒基礎が採用されている。本報文は, 斜張橋部の設計活荷重見直し対応および斜張橋特有の動的解析, 耐風安定性に関する設計と海洋斜張橋の基礎工事や張出架設の技術的特色を中心に最新の技術知見を踏まえて報告するものである。

The restoration of river ecosystems is of worldwide interest. Although various techniques have been designed, an effective method for environmental evaluation is necessary. We report a new method for the evaluation of the riverine environment on the basis of simple fish ecological data. The 16 indexes studied were (1) native species, (2) alien species, (3) red list species, (4) genuine freshwater fish species, (5) amphidromous or brackish water fish species, (6) swimming species, (7) benthonic species, (8) flowing water species, (9) still water species, (10) permanent water species, (11) temporary water (flood plain) species, (12) spawning in vegetation area species, (13) spawning in muddy bottom species, (14) spawning in sandy-gravely bottom species, (15) spawning under rocks species, and (16) spawning in mussel species. The reference data is the maximum number of potential species . First, the fish fauna data of the evaluated point was obtained. Next, a radar chart was prepared with regard to the 16 indexes. Although this assessment method can be applied in the same ecoregion, it provided a good evaluation.

平安期において弘仁年間より保元の乱に至るまで、三百年以上にわたり正式な形で死刑が行なわれなかった。このことは古くから知られ、これまで各種の文献で取り上げられてきた。本稿ではまず前提となる問題として、死刑の廃止ではなく停止であること、そして停止の時期やその実態について確認した上で、そのような現象がもたらされた背景、原因について論じ、死刑停止の歴史的意義を究明せんとした。 これまで死刑停止の背景、原因については、様々なことが指摘されてきた。それらはいずれもその要因の一つであると考えられる。なかでもとりわけ怨霊の問題が最も重要視され、筆者自身もかつてそのように考えてきた。しかしながら、非業の死とは結びつかない犯行の明白な一般庶民による凶悪な犯罪についても死刑執行が宥恕される事例が存在することは、怨霊恐怖の点からだけでは十分に説明できない。また死刑が復活したことについてその理由等は従来あまり論じられず、それ以降も公家社会では死刑は基本的に忌避されていたとする見解さえ存在する。本稿では、死刑復活後は公家社会でも死刑が行なわれたということを前提として、死刑が復活した際における後白河天皇宣命案に関する分析等から穢の問題を最も重視し、この問題を穢を媒介として天皇と朝廷のあり方、王権の変容との関連から考察した。 保元の乱後に出された後白河天皇宣命案は、従来からも取り上げられてきた史料である。本稿では、乱の経緯とその後の処置について神前に報告するのが、死穢すなわち死の穢によって延滞したとある部分に特に注目した。死刑の執行によって、穢が重要な問題となっていたことがわかる。穢は九世紀半ば以降に制度化され、それは天皇が祭祀王として純化されていく過程と並行していた。天皇による死刑の裁可は死穢の忌避という点から次第に行なわれなくなり、また死刑の執行は觸穢による宮中・内裏への波及を防ぐ意味で回避されるようになった。 このようにして全く行なわれなくなった死刑が復活したのは、保元の乱という内乱の後であった。そこには単なる武家の台頭ということのみならず、朝廷と天皇をめぐる公家社会における大きな変化があった。祭祀王としての天皇の純化が完成した段階で院政という新たな政治形態が確立し、世俗王としての院=上皇が治天の君としての権力を行使することになった。そして、穢の観念が世俗化、希薄化し拡散していく中で、死刑への忌避感情もまたかつてのように厳格なものではなくなっていった。その結果、天皇の清浄性を保持しつつ、院=上皇による刑政への関与、死刑の裁可という途が開けていった。 死刑の停止は「薬子の変」、その復活は保元の乱という、いずれも上皇と天皇の対立、王権の分裂を契機に進行した。それは王権の変容過程の中で生起した、特殊な現象であったといえる。

運動失調は小脳由来の小脳性だけでなく,大脳から末梢神経に至るいずれかの病変によることがある.小脳由来ではない非小脳性運動失調は感覚性運動失調や後索性運動失調と総称されてきた.しかし,前頭葉病変で小脳性と区別しにくい運動失調が現れるので,小脳性運動失調を含めて小脳型運動失調と呼び,後索由来の後索性運動失調も後索ではない頭頂葉病変などによることがあり,後索性運動失調を含めて後索型運動失調と呼ぶことが提唱された(平山,2010).この提唱に従って,脊髄癆や感覚性ニューロパチーなどを概観するが,Miller Fisher症候群の運動失調は自己免疫性運動失調の国際的コンセンサス(2016)にて臨床-生理学的に小脳型とされており,感覚性運動失調に後索性/型運動失調だけでなく,Ia群線維から小脳への感覚入力障害による小脳型運動失調がありうることを強調したい.

日本語の指示詞の3系列(コソア)は, いずれも直示用法とともに非直示用法を持つ. 本稿では「直示」の本質を「談話に先立って話し手がその存在を認識している対象を, 話し手が直接指し示すこと」ととらえ, ア系列およびコ系列では直示・非直示用法にわたってこの直示の本質が認められるのに対し, ソ系列はそうではないことを示す. 本稿では, ア系列の非直示用法は「記憶指示」, すなわち話し手の出来事記憶内の要素を指し示すものであり, コ系列の非直示用法は「談話主題指示」, すなわち先行文脈の内容を中心的に代表する要素または概念を指し示すものと考える.「記憶指示」も「談話主題指示」も上記の直示の本質を備えている上に, ア系列およびコ系列の狭義直示用法において特徴的な話し手からの遠近の対立も備えているという点は, ア系列およびコ系列の非直示用法がともに直示用法の拡張であることを示唆している. さらにさまざまなソ系列の非直示用法を検討した上で, ソはコ・アとは異なって, 本質的に直示の性格が認められないことを論じる. 非直示用法のソ系列は話し手が談話に先立って存在を認めている要素を直接指すためには用いられず, 主に言語的な表現によって談話に導入された要素を指し示すためた用いられる.またソが, 「直示」によっては表現できない, 分配的解釈や, いわゆる代行用法等の用法を持つことも, ソがアやコと違って非「直示」的であるという主張と合致する.

Chemical compositions previously obtained from 333 hot springs in Ishikawa Prefecture were firstly examined for the geochemical characteristic. The Cl- concentration varies from 9 to 17,490 mg/L. Two geothermometers (Na+/K+ratio and SiO2 concentration) have been applied to estimate the subsurface temperatures with the chemical data and show that there are several high temperature areas (>150℃).Secondly, 29 hot springs and three river waters were newly collected from selected areas and analyzed for their hydrogen and oxygen isotopic compositions to also examine the source. The chemical and isotopic compositions indicate that the hot spring waters are a mixture of meteoric water, sea water (fossil sea water in a Green Tuff region) and volcanic fluid. The high temperature geothermal resources on the basis of the estimated subsurface temperature (ca. 200℃) may exist in the Hakusan area, the southern part of Ishikawa. The estimated geothermal resources in this area are ca. 60 MW. During geothermal power generation in this area, calcite is expected to precipitate in the reservoir and production wells according to the saturation indices for the hot spring waters and should be prohibited the precipitation.

This paper proposes a chair-based synesthetic experience device, Synesthesia X1-2.44, which utilizes auditory, haptic, and visual sensations. In order to realize a synesthetic experience, we designed the chair that includes 44 haptic actuators, two speakers and 5 stage lights, and exhibited it at Media Ambition Tokyo 2019. When discussing this work, we observed “sense of stretching and contracting of the body”, “sense of floating/sinking”, and “sense of disappearance of the body”. In addition, the combination of whole-body haptic sensation and spatial acoustics with sounds felt from inside/outside the body affects the autonomic nervous system and induces a pleasant state, and create a representation different from the usual auditory and haptic experiences.

バーチャルYouTuber (VTuber) と呼ばれる,動画投稿者を模したバーチャルキャラクターの活動が盛んになっている.VTuberという言葉は2016年頃から使われ始め,2019年9月時点ではVTuberを名乗るキャラクターは少なくとも9000人を超えている.VTuberの活動はタレントやクリエータなど様々であり多くの分野で注目を集めている.本研究ではそうしたVTuberらの活動の理解と支援を目的として,Webから関連情報を収集し分析した.具体的にはWebからVTuberのプロフィール情報等を収集し基礎的な調査した.さらにVTuberらのTwitterフォロワー情報を収集しその共起関係から,活動傾向の違いやVTuber間の関係性について分析した.

The Medical Research Council vitamin study has unequivocally demonstrated in 1991 that 72 percent of recurrence of neural tube defects (meningomyelocele and anencephaly) were successfully prevented by taking 4 mg of folic acid periconceptionally. Of 87 countries whose major staples were forti¿ed with folic acid, micronutrients, or minerals, 81 have implemented food forti¿cation with folic acid and observed a significant decline of neural tube defect prevalence following the fortification program. The Ministry of Health and Welfare in Japan recommended in 2000 that women planning to conceive should take folic acid supplements of 400 μg daily. During the past 16 years, however, prevalence of meningomyelocele has not decreased but remains rather stable, from 5 to 6 per 10,000 births (live births and stillbirths). A total of 542 newborns, i.e., 502 with meningomyelocele and 40 with anencephaly, were estimated to be born in the year of 2015. Furthermore, if fetuses terminated during pregnancy were counted, the real number of them would probably climb up to 2169 and would be 4 times as many as the number of¿cially reported. Since longstanding recommendations alone have not worked properly, we would like to urge the government to implement mandatory food forti¿cation with folic acid, which will certainly decrease the number of afÀicted patients and lead to economic bene¿ts and signi¿cant reduction in the cost burden on the healthcare system and healthcare payers.

自閉スペクトラム症(以下,ASD)児が不適切な養育,特に身体的虐待を受けるリスクは定型発達児よりも高く,知的障害を伴わない高機能児では時に深刻な虐待被害が報告されている。近年,親が不適切な養育行為に至るプロセスや親の認知リスク要因に加え,それらと子ども側の要因の相互作用を明らかにする重要性が指摘されている。そこで本稿では身体的虐待における社会的情報過程モデル(SIPモデル)を参照し,子どもの行動に対する不適切な帰属,不適切な発達期待,不当な適応評価という親側の認知リスク要因と,これらに影響を与えうる子ども側の特徴について先行研究を概観した。そして子どもの行動タイプ,問題行動の深刻さ,障害の有無・種別が親の認知リスク要因に関連しうることを整理した。これらをもとにASD児の特徴と親の認知リスク要因の関連についての仮説モデルを提唱した。ASD児の場合,その疫学的な特徴に加え,非定型的な行動パターンや問題行動の深刻さが親の否定的な帰属を引き起こし得ると考えられた。高機能児の場合はこれらに加え,障害のわかりにくさ,認知・適応能力の凸凹・個人差が大きいことから,親が子どもの特性を障害として捉えづらく否定的帰属が抑制されにくい可能性,適切なレベルの発達期待を見極めるのが難しい可能性,適応評価が不当に低くなりやすい可能性が考えられた。最後に今後の研究の課題と展望を述べた。

軽症頭部外傷は救急診療において日常的に遭遇する機会の多い傷病である. 軽症頭部外傷のほとんどのケースは短期間に軽快し回復するが, 一部に重症化してしまう症例があり注意を要する. また約半数はのちに脳震盪後症候群をきたし, 昨今注目される外傷後の高次脳機能障害など, 多くの社会問題の要因にもなっている. 本稿では, 日常診療で遭遇する機会の多い軽症頭部外傷にスポットを当て, 2019年に改訂された「頭部外傷治療・管理のガイドライン第4版」の内容を中心に, 診療において重要な項目について要点をまとめた. 軽症頭部外傷の診療においては, 重症化の危険因子を念頭に置き, 適切に頭部CTの適応を判断し, 帰宅や入院経過観察の判断を行う. 脳震盪後症候群や外傷後の高次脳機能障害の可能性も考慮し, 初療において詳細に診療録を記載することがきわめて重要である.

Long non-coding RNAs (lncRNAs) are transcripts exceeding 200 nucleotides in length that do not code for proteins. However, they play pivotal roles in various biological processes. The mechanisms by which bacterial infections induce lncRNA expression remain elusive. Our past study, we identified a unique class of lncRNAs with short half-lives, less than 4 h in human HeLa cells. These short-lived lncRNAs include to many regulatory functions, such as HOTAIR, NEAT1, or GAS5. Due to their potential influence on human biology, these short-lived lncRNAs might serve as important markers to gauge the stress from bacterial infections. In this study, we identified three lncRNAs, named MIR22HG, GABPB1-AS1, and IDI2-AS1. Their expression significantly decreased after exposure to lipopolysaccharide, simulating bacterial infection in human A549 cells. Our findings suggest that short-lived lncRNAs react to bacterial infections, with their expression levels dropping notably. We propose that these lncRNAs could act as potential indicators of cellular responses to bacteria.

Objective: Icing is the most common care method for Japanese baseball players to prevent secondary tissue damage. However, because of reports that icing causes decrease in muscle strength and reduction in training effect, currently there is no standard post-pitching care. The purpose of this study was to longitudinally investigate whether different post-pitching care methods are associated with different effects on shoulder joint function. Method: Aerobic exercise, stretch training, and icing were administered, at intervals of more than a week, to nine high school baseball pitchers after each of them pitched 100 throws. A comparative study was performed by measuring shoulder joint function after pitching, after care completion, and at 24 hours, 48 hours, and 72 hours post pitching. Results: Significant differences were observed in shoulder rotation range of motion and external rotation muscle strength due to differences in care. Icing was the most selected care method in the questionnaire survey as well. Conclusion: Depending on differences in post-pitching care, the shoulder joint function changes. Awareness about changes in shoulder joint function due to different care methods will help prevent pitching disorders through the selection of appropriate care depending on circumstances such as pitching day intervals.

The D/V Chikyu greeted 11 years operation in 2016. Chikyu expeditions were always targeted to the most challenging and extreme areas which never experienced before. CDEX has overcome technical difficulties caused by the deep water, high current, high temperature and the deep drilling, and achieved world scientific and technical outcomes. This paper look back the establishment of the CDEX operation scheme from the early stage and the technical experiences of the Chikyu's deep sea drilling for 11 years. CDEX would continue to challenge to the new era of the next 10 years.

近年,統合失調症のグルタミン酸仮説に基づいた多くの新規治療薬の開発が進められている。特に,代謝型グルタミン酸受容体mGluR2/3作動薬,グルタミン酸受容体のサブタイプの1つであるNMDA受容体を活性化するような薬剤,たとえばD型セリンおよびD型アミノ酸酸化酵素阻害薬の併用,NMDA受容体近傍のグリア細胞に存在するグリシントランスポーター1(GlyT-1)阻害薬などが注目されている。また,第二世代抗生物質ミノサイクリンは神経突起促進作用を有し,精神疾患の動物モデルでの治療効果も報告されており,統合失調症を含む多くの精神神経疾患の治療薬としての可能性が指摘されている。本稿では,NMDA受容体低下仮説に基づいた統合失調症の新しい治療薬の開発状況およびミノサイクリンの治療薬としての可能性について考察したい。
