Turf scarps and patch-shaped barelands are clearly observed on windy alpine ridges and wind-swept slopes of Japanese mountains. This study investigates the formation and retreat of turf scarps at the Daisyoujidaira site (2700 m a.s.l.) and Maru-yama site (3025 m a.s.l.), Southern Japanese Alps.<br> The average distances of scarp retreat are 2.2 cm/2 years (Daisyoujidaira site: 2006-2008), 0.5 cm/year (Maru-yama site: 2006-2007), and 3.6 cm/year (Maru-yama site: 2007-2008).<br> At the Daisyoujidaira site, generation of turf scarps started on the walls of trails or gullies. The retreat processes of turf scarps are considered to be a combination of frost-thaw action (needle ice creep), deflation, rain-splash erosion, and slope wash. However, at the Daisyoujidaira site, turf scarps with curtain-like exposure of plant roots are protected from deflation and rain-splash erosion during summer.<br> On the other hand, at the Maru-yama site, eave collapsing and turf plucking occur frequently, and turf scarps continue to retreat. As a result, patch-shaped barelands continue to expand on the wind-swept slope of Maru-yama.

Rhönrad is a gymnastic equipment that is interesting in terms of dynamics and control. We presented an analytical model and governing basic equations of the Rhönrad mechanism with a human body model. Then, a control method named as Synchronous control was proposed. In this control method, the human body moves synchronously with the rotation angle of the Rhönrad. The motion caused by Synchronous control was numerically analyzed. After that, a standalone miniature Rhonrad robot that consisted of three gyro sensors, an actuator, a micro-computer and batteries was manufactured. The validities of the Synchronous control were shown by experiments with the robot.

Kozaisyo didn't write an answer to Michimori's love letter, and Nyoin who is her master commented to her that she was too strong-minded, and thus her attitude reminded people of Ono- no-Komachi. It was said that as a result of having rejected the masculine, Komachi had lived a pitiful in her old age in the Japanese tales of the Middle Ages (11c-16c). Or they said Komachi who had been a harlot was a reincarnation of the Kannon Bodhisattva, and in these tales, she had been portrayed as a sort of messiah. However, their logic is that of a masculine community where woman has been put to silence. Kozaisyo and Ono-no-Komachi have been shunted into this masculine logic. Kozaisyo was accounted as a faithful woman in the Heike-Monogatari, because of having thrown herself into the sea after Michimori's death, but in the common sense of the Middle Ages it was thought that a pregnant woman who killed herself would have gone to hell. We can see the possibility that Kozaisyo may have gotten a spell of relief from the masculine community, if we can connect her to Ono-no-komachi who had become the Kannon.

This paper examines Constitutionalism and its development in the AustrianEmpire in the 19th century. The Empire established three constitutions or fundamental principles between 1852 and 1867.These are Das Silvesterpatent,Das Oktoberdiplom and DasFebruarpatent . They were absolute and aimed at the centralization of government.However Das Februarpatent in particular established parliamentarism, despite being only inappearance,and so formed the basis of later Austrian Constitutionalism.

比婆荒神神楽は中世に開郷された名を単位とする中世神楽の色彩を色濃く残した神楽であるが、近世的な再編を経ていることは見逃せない。このなかで重要な位置を占めるのが土公神祭祀である。土公神は中世的な地霊から世界の王へと転形をとげた。また土公神との習合によって、不定形で無数の集合霊であった荒神は組織を与えられた。かくて比婆荒神神楽は、世界の秩序を更新・再生する祭となったのである。こうした再編は吉田神道の影響のもとで行われたと考えられる。土公神荒神九魔王神吉田神道陰陽道

Ryanodine receptors (RyRs) are tetrameric Ca2+ release channels of sarcoplasmic reticulum (SR). This review attempts to detail the key mechanism of RyR channel gating and to discuss the hypothesis that skeletal muscle fatigue, defined as reduced force production, would result from functional changes in both individual RyR channel opening and coupling among RyR channels. Previous studies have shown that RyR channels in skeletal muscle open simultaneously, called coupled gating, because of physical interaction among channels. In this review, mechanisms underlying muscle fatigue are discussed with consideration of the coupling effect. Fatigue mechanisms are thought to be different between acute exercise and long-term exercise training. The impairments in individual channel opening and coupling between RyR channels can occur after acute exercise, leading to decreased SR Ca2+ release and force depression. On the contrary, during long-term exercise training, individual channel opening would be enhanced but coupling between channels would be impaired. If this were to continue for long periods, SR Ca2+ content would reduce, leading to less Ca2+ release and lower force production.

1997年10月に臓器移植法が施行され、日本でも脳死体からの臓器摘出が可能になった。しかし獲得された希少な臓器をどういう基準でレシピエントに分配するかについては、まだ公開の場で十分な検討がなされていない。日本においては心臓、腎臓、肺の場合、医学的条件が同じ場合は、待機期間の長い順で臓器を分配・移植する基準が採用されている。この「先着順」システムは一見平等・公平であるように見えるが、慢性臓器疾患の高年齢層が、若年層よりも早く移植が受けられる可能性もある。さらに肝臓については、疾患の種類と緊急度、血液型適合度を点数化して順番を決めているが、場合によっては飲酒により肝硬変になった患者が、他の要因で肝疾患になった患者よりも先に移植を受けられるという事態が生じる可能性もある。アメリカの臓器分配ネットワーク(UNOS)のデータを分析すると、各臓器の約4割から7割は、11歳から34歳の若年層が提供しており、逆に、臓器を受け取るレシピエントは、50歳から64歳であった。本研究は、臓器提供の最大の予備軍である若者が、自分が脳死になった場合、誰に臓器を移植して欲しいと思っているか、主としてレシピエントの移植前後の飲酒量、病因の無辜(むこ)性、年齢・性別、社会的状況(地位)について調査したものである。結果から、ドナー予備軍の若者は、レシピエント(飲酒者、高齢者、女性より男性、受刑者など)によっては、強い不満を抱くことがわかった。若者の意識を、臓器分配システムに反映させるかどうかは別として、無視すると提供者数が減少する可能性があることは否定できない。

電子署名技術の利用にあたっては,署名者は秘密鍵を安全に管理する必要がある.一般には,秘密鍵を安全に管理することは署名者自身にとって利益となると考えられているが,署名者の状況によっては,安全に管理することが利益とならないケースも生じうる.本稿では,署名者が債務超過に近い状態にある債務者である場合を例にあげて,署名鍵の自己暴露が債権者に対する攻撃となることを指摘する.さらに債務者が鍵自己暴露の可能性を持つことが,債権者?債務者間の債務縮減交渉に与える影響について分析を行い,この問題への対策の方針と例を示す.

植物は光合成によって太陽エネルギーを最も効率よく利用している生物である。すなわち、大気中の二酸化炭素(CO2)と大地の水(H2O)を原料にし、太陽エネルギーによって炭水化物(CH2O)と酸素(O2)を作り出すことができる。ここで生産された炭水化物を燃料として燃焼しても、原料として用いたCO2が大気中に放出されるため、基本的に大気中のCO2量は増加しない計算になり、これをカーボンニュートラルと呼ぶ。これが、化石燃料をバイオマス燃料で代替することによる大気中CO2の削減が期待されている理由である。しかし、ここで植物を栽培するプロセスが重要であり、植林なしに単に山の木を伐採して燃料利用するだけであれば化石燃料を浪費する行為と大差はない。バイオマス生産を行うことそのものがカーボンニュートラルであることを忘れてはならない。ここ1、2年のバイオマス燃料に対する関心の高まりは目を見張るものがある。農林水産省においても2007年度から「地域活性化のためのバイオマス利用技術の開発」プロジェクト研究が開始した。このプロジェクトは、国産バイオ燃料の利用促進を図るために、サトウキビ、テンサイ(甜菜)、バレイショ(馬鈴薯)、カンショ(甘藷)およびソルガムを原料にしたバイオエタノール生産コストを大幅に削減する技術を開発し、実用化することが目的であり、政策目標として、国産バイオエタノールの生産コストを10年で現在の半分以下に削減することを目指している。この中で草本系イネ科植物として対象作物に選ばれているのが熱帯イネ科作物(C4植物)のサトウキビと高糖性ソルガム、すなわちスイートソルガムである。

The Design of Experiments (DOE) is a method that is widely used due to its effectiveness to select optimum conditions in the design stage of product development. On the other hand, a fast, low cost, labor saving and energy-saving innovative development is also required in industry. In this research, a program for quickly searching the optimum condition using design of experiments is developed and evaluated. Relationships between each parameter and the final property are firstly cleared for each formula by using the design of experiments. Then the optimum conditions for each parameter were decided by using these formulas in a program. The optimum final property with each optimum level value were calculated. In addition, the optimum condition for cooling system using alkaline water mist was investigated for evaluating this program in an experiment. It is concluded from the result that (1) the program using the design of experiments was useful for fast development process, (2) this program could quickly and accurately decide the optimum cooling condition for cooling system using alkaline water mist.
