われわれは,人間の心というものに関して一般的な知識を持ち,それをさまざまな場面で用いている。たとえば,われわれは他人の心を推し量って,その人の振る舞いを予測したり,他人を望み通りに振る舞わせるために,その人の心に働きかけたりするが,こういった営みはすべて,人間の心と振る舞いに関するわれわれの知識に基づいている。これらの知識は,日常心理学(folk psychology)と総称されている。他方,今日では,心理学あるいは認知科学の領域において,人間の心と行動の関係が科学的に研究されている。では,日常心理学は,科学的心理学とどのような関係にあるのだろうか。より限定していえば,科学的心理学は日常心理学を基礎とすることができるのだろうか。本論文では,この問題について考察してみたい。

Abstract:The purpose of this paper is to shed light on one aspect of the introduction of the melodica into elementaryschool education in Japan, by clarifying the improvements that took place in the manufacturing process of melodicasduring the 1960s and 1970s, focusing on articles and advertisements in music education magazines. After melodicas werefirst imported from Germany around 1961, musical instrument manufacturers in Japan also began to manufacture andimprove them. Educators in elementary and junior high schools soon began using the melodica experimentally, praisingits musical possibilities but demanding improvements in quality.Musical instrument manufacturers immediately set out to improve the quality of the instrument in collaboration withelementary schools. As a result, in 1967, the melodica was approved as an educational tool by the Ministry of Education.Further, with an increase in the number of school children and the corresponding shortage of music rooms andequipment in elementary schools, when the Ministry revised its national curriculum guidelines in 1968 and stipulated thescope of“ basic” education, the melodica was considered a useful instrument for the attainment of this basic education,and elementary school students throughout Japan were soon carrying their personal melodicas. This paper shows thatmusical instrument manufacturers played a large role in the process leading up to the widespread introduction of themelodica into elementary school education.

本研究の目的は,理科における知的謙虚さ尺度を開発することであった.この目的を達成するために,教師11名を対象とした予備調査と小学生791名を対象とした本調査を実施し,理科における知的謙虚さの因子構造について検討した.その結果,「開放性」「一般化への慎重さ」「知性と自我の独立」という3因子構造からなる,完全版と短縮版の2種類の尺度を開発することができた.今後は,項目反応理論をもとに質問項目の特性についてより詳細に明らかにしていく必要がある.

本稿はSFというジャンルに代表される科学的世界観を超出した存在/現象理解をプレゼンテーションの基軸に据えた思弁的アニメ作品 Ergo Proxy を対象にして、形而上的映像表現に仮託し得る“意味”の全方位的拡張を模索することにより、現実と仮構を連続体として捕捉する統括的なシステム理論の適用を通して神と人の位格的遷移を辿った神話的表象の註解を試みるものである。そこには存在と現象、概念と質料、記述と創造の相互変換を可能にする仮想的基幹原理を反映した二次創作的記述/論考が企図されている。

This study clarifies the features of throwing motion to second base of professional baseball catchers.Eleven catchers of two Nippon Professional Baseball Organization teams were participants. Using the highest confidence data among analytical trials for throwing time, we defined it as ‘the time required from catching until ball arriving at second base with shortest time’. Following five characteristic features were revealed. 1) In time parameter, professional catchers have a difference in motion time (the time required from catching to release in amateur catchers), especially during the beginning phase having a relation with duration time (arrival time from the ball release to the second base), the throwing phase having a relation with the throwing time and release speed (speed average of ball speed of 3 frames after releasing the ball), and the grip changing phase having a relation with motion time. 2) Further, professional catchers have a tradeoff relationship between the motion time and the duration time as well as amateur catchers; and, particularly good professional catchers can shorten the duration time even while shortening motion time leading to shortening of the throwing time. 3) In stride parameter, professional catchers have a difference in the length of the pivot foot in amateur catchers, especially, the X component has a relation with the motion time while the Y component has a relation with the duration time, and the stride length is likewise; there was no relationship between all the items. 4) In release parameter, professional catchers maintain a higher projection height of the ball than amateur catchers and maintain the tendency of the projection angle to be lower, improving the throwing accuracy, especially the elevation angle is related to the duration time and the release speed, but the azimuth angle is likewise; there was no relationship between all the items. 5) In center of gravity of the body, professional catchers have a relation with the movement speed of the center of gravity of the body and the release speed as well as amateur catchers, but the moving distance of center of gravity of the body is likewise; there was no relationship between all the items.

脳活動とテレビゲームの関係に注目した関連研究の多くで,テレビゲーム実施時に前頭前野の脳活動が低下することが報告されてきた.テレビゲームに限らず,メディアインタラクションにおいては年齢,熟達度,さらには嗜好や没入の度合いに応じて,ヒトへの影響に違いが生じると考えるのが自然であろう.本研究ではテレビゲームにおける熟達度に焦点を当て,2つのジャンル(シューティング,リズムアクション)のゲームを実施している際のヒトの脳活動を熟達者,中級者,初心者の3種類の条件でfNIRS(機能的近赤外分光法)によって計測し,比較,検討した.その結果,熟達者においては,テレビゲーム実施時に前頭前野の脳活動が上昇するという関連研究とは異なる状況が観測された.またゲームタイトル,ジャンルを変えた場合の熟達者の脳活動を計測した結果,熟達したゲームにおける脳活動が最も上昇するという結果を得た.

The development of motor competence during infancy and childhood is dependent upon and influenced by the growth and maturity characteristics of the child interacting with the environment in which a child is reared. Environmental opportunities and restraints for movement interact with the biological substrates of growth and maturation to determine the motor repertoire of the child. This paper provides a brief overview of motor development during infancy and early childhood and then highlights several specific areas and/or questions: critical evaluation of stages for specific movement patterns; extension of the dynamical systems framework; genotypic contributions to motor development; metabolic and physiological correlates of motor development; relationship of motor development to the growth of the brain, status at birth and early postnatal growth; and social contexts of motor development.

旧蔵者七里香艸堂は、幕末・明治の画家田崎草雲(1815-98)の号。本資料は『外国産鳥之図』(る二-35)と同じく、御用伺絵(『外国産鳥之図』解題参照)系の図を集め、外国産の鳥類33品と獣類6品から成る。図柄の検討から、長崎の御用伺役高木家の御用伺絵控図集『唐蘭船持渡鳥獣之図』(現在、慶応義塾図書館蔵)を直接に転写したものと推定される。草雲は長崎に住んだことがあり、その折に自身で転写した可能性が大きい。描かれているのは(括弧内は原記載名)―カササギサイチョウ(弁柄鷺)、サトウチョウ(砂糖鳥)、ミナミヤイロチョウ(翠花鳥)、シキチョウ (四祝鳥)、ホロホロチョウ(ポルポラアト鳥)、ベニジュケイ(寿鶏鳥、雄)、ジャワヤマアラシ(山あらし)、スローロリス(ロイアールト:サルの一種)、ジャワマメジカ(小型鹿)など。:『外国産鳥之図』『唐紅毛渡鳥写生』解題参照(磯野直秀)

This research investigates the current use of ellipsis abbreviations in English haiku. In the linguistics field, ellipsis means the practice of omitting words from sentences. The ellipsis indicates abbreviation of a missing statement, especially a complex syntactic simplification. In the literary field, ellipsis can refer to [...] punctuation marks. Poets use ellipsis in different ways than writers create prose in English. The rhythm of English poetry can be paused with punctuation marks such as commas, semicolons, hyphens, exclamation marks and dots. The Japanese use of cutting words can be emulated in English haiku using... (dots) at the end of the first or second lines. This study found that haikuists use linguistic and literary examples of ellipsis in unique ways and new styles — differently than novelists or traditional poets.本調査研究では,英語俳句における最新の省略記号の使用法を分析した。言語学の分野では,省略記号[…]は陳述(声明)の省略,とりわけ複雑な構文の簡略化を指し示すことが可能である。この記号は日本語の俳句には存在しない。英語の詩では,詩のリズムを一時停止するときには,コンマ,セミコロン,ハイフン,ドット,感嘆符などの句読点を使用することができる。英語の新様式俳句ではドット[…]を使って表現することができる。また,1行目または2行目の最後に切れ字(カッティングワード)を配置できる。俳人たちは,作家たちが英語や散文を作成するのとは異なる方法で省略記号を使用している。この研究で俳人たちが伝統的な俳人たちや作家たちや詩人たちとは異なり,独自の方法で省略記号を使用することが分かった。

肺動静脈瘻は先天性の中胚葉性血管形成不全を原因とする疾患である.症例は26歳,男性.Hugh-Jones II度の労作時呼吸困難あり,健康診断にて胸部X線上結節状陰影を指摘され当院紹介受診.3次元CT等で右上下肺,左下肺に肺動静脈瘻を認め,肺血流シンチグラムではシャント率16.5%であった.経カテーテルコイル塞栓術を施行し,術後血液ガス所見および臨床症状の著明な改善を認めた.

The present study examined the effects of daily communication on favorability in the perception of romantic relationships, with reference to Matsui's (1990) Developmental Stage Model of Romantic Love. The 484 participants were divided into three categories according to their current relational status: romantic relationships (154 undergraduates), one-sided non-mutual relationships (205 undergraduates), and regular heterosexual friendships (125 undergraduates). The latter two groups were included for comparison. Sternberg's (1997) Triangular Love Scale was used in order to measure favorability in participants' relationships. A separate scale was used to record information relating to daily communication. Participants were asked various questions regarding their relationships. Some examples included, 'Exchanging talk about daily events','Having a relationship-specific verbal style', and 'Perceiving the partner's reaction'. For the purposes of this study,'Exchanging talk about daily events' was discussed in terms of messages regarding content and relational meaning (Watzlawick, Bavelas, & Jackson, 1967). And 'Having a relationship-specific verbal style' was discussed in terms of relational culture (Wood, 1982). The results indicated that the all daily communicational behavior mentioned above influenced the level of favorability of romantic relationships.

近年,日本のスタートアップ・ベンチャー企業を取り巻く環境は,ベンチャーキャピタルや大企業,エンジェル投資家等によって,資金だけでなくオフィスや人材,ノウハウ等様々な経営支援が拡充し,エコシステムが整いつつある。一方で,ユニコーン企業の数は,米国や中国等と比べ未だ桁違いに少ない。日本のスタートアップ・ベンチャー企業が,成功するために何が必要なのか。本稿では,広報の観点から考察した。 スタートアップ・ベンチャー企業が成長過程において直面する主な経営課題は,①ヒト+情報,②モノ+情報,③カネ+情報の3 つに大別でき,成功率を上げるには,予めこれらの経営課題を認識し先手を打つ必要がある。その打ち手として,トップや経営陣が広報の重要性を理解し,広報活動を経営戦略と一体化させることが不可欠である。企業ステージに応じたコミュニケーション施策により経営課題の解決に取り組むことこそが広報の役割である。
