The main purpose of this paper is to make suggestions concerning combination of quantitative and qualitative research in order to utilize the advantages of both types of research. Although there are many kinds of studies that combine quantitative and qualitative methodologies, it seems that few of them can be called "publicized" because of the absence of discussion concerning the method of qualitative research in particular. Showing our possible combined research design like a "catalogue", we would like to give rise to implications for future research. Our suggestion as a catalogue can be called a "hypothesis-succeeding" study (Saijo, 2002) using the KJ method (Kawakita, 1967):

Cet article a pour but de developper le theme qui a ete lance dans mon article precedent : "Le corps comme evenement" (paru dans le Bulletin des recherches : La Nouvelle possibilite de l'esthetique-son sens et sa limite), ou l'on a considere le corps comme centre des sensations. Le corps comme lieu des desaccords et discords est en meme temps lieu des evenements et de la naissance des sensations. A propos de l'oeuvre d'art, on dit parfois le style de l'artiste, de l'ecole et du temps. Cela est possible, parce que l'oeuvre d'art, elle a aussi un corps. Or la creation de l'oeuvre par l'artiste est un evenement et notre rencontre avec l'oeuvre l'est aussi. A ce moment, non seulement les relations entre l'artiste et l'oeuvre, et l'oeuvre et nous, mais celle-meme entre nous et l'artiste est reciproque. Cette reciprocite est le plus important des indices de l'evenement.

本稿ではまず,60年来の,わが国の図書分類法の編制,改訂状況と特徴についてまとめた。次いで,出版年代,詞表の規模,語彙の性能,分野の分布,語彙の表示,改訂の状況等の面から,ここ30年来の主題詞表研究と編制について統計分析を行った。統計分析を通じてわが国の主題詞表の発展状況,レベルと存在している問題点などについて明らかにした。最後に,4つの時期に分けてわが国の情報検索言語(索引言語)の相互運用性の進展を,主なプロジェクト及びその特徴を含め,成功したプロジェクトについて分析し,総括して情報検索言語の相互運用性においてより実り多い成功経験と参考とすべき方法などを提供した。

本研究においては強度行動障害と重度の知的障害をもつ自閉症者に対して、適切な排泄行動の形成を目的とした嫌悪的な手続きによらないトイレット・トレーニングの効果を検討した。本事例においては、トイレ場面以外での排泄行動(排便・排尿)が長期にわたって問題化している対象者に対して、生態学的調査と排泄に至るまでの行動の課題分析を行い、それらにもとづいて積極的練習による介入を行った。その結果、対象者の排泄に至るまでの行動ステップに改善がみられ、それに伴って日常場面でのトイレ以外での排泄行動が減少し、トレーニング終了後においても、低いレベルのまま推移した。これらの結果から、長期にわたって排泄の問題をもつ事例においても、排泄行動の形成のために、生態学的調査にもとづく課題分析と積極的練習による介入の有効性が示された。施設において実施可能な指導プログラムについて検討を行った。

Dans son premier livre, Histoire de la folie, Michel Foucault a propose d'analyser le phenomene de la folie elle-meme et presente une these sur l'exclusion de la folie par Descartes dans sa Premiere Meditation. C'est L'Ecriture et la Difference de Jacques Derrida qui a severement critique tous les projets de Foucault en les declarant trompeurs, impossibles et fous. D'apres Derrida, nous ne pouvons accuser notre raison qu'en elle, et le doute methodique de Descartes qui arrive a son comble par la convocation du Malin Genie, n'est pas un exemple d'exclusion de la folie, mais simplement celui de la possibilite de penser a la folie. Dans ce traite, j'ai essaye d'eclaircir le pouvoir du sujet doutant de Descartes qui fait resolument avancer sa meditation metaphysique en separant le reve de la folie. Pour Foucault qui veut eviter la pensee cartesienne, penser a la folie, c'est d'introduire l'Autre a la raison sans aucune transformation et aucune exclusion. On pourrait appeler cette maniere de penser une "interiorisation du dehors". C'est bien la nouvelle possibilite et moralite de notre raison.

Some students in their study of wave motion have asked us "could you explain the contradiction that exists between the principles of superposition of waves and the energy conservation law?" We will answer the question in this paper. This question arises from their focusing only on either the constructive or destructive aspect of superposition of waves. They must pay attention to both aspects of superposition.

近年,疾病予防などの観点からストレスの評価法に注目が集まっている.本稿では唾液を用いたストレス評価について概説した.人の唾液には様々なストレス関連物質が存在することがわかっており,非侵襲的なストレス評価法として利用できる可能性が考えられる.唾液採取,検体の取り扱い,測定などの基本的事項を紹介し,唾液より測定可能な 7 つの物質(コルチゾール,デヒドロエピアンドロステロン,テストステロン,クロモグラニン A,3-メトキシ-4-ハイドロキシフェニルグリコール,α アミラーゼ,分泌型免疫グロブリン A)の各種ストレスとの関連や使用の際の留意点を概観した.最後に目的や状況に応じた唾液によるストレス評価の方法や今後の課題について述べた.<br>

衣服の数値計算において,動的に変形する衣服と人体との衝突を,摩擦と跳ね返りの影響をも含んだ制約条件とみなした制約充足型アプローチによる衝突の影響の計算方法とその応用について述べる.衣服の変形過程は,衣服の自己衝突と人体形状に影響されるため,衣服形状を計算するには,これらとの衝突を計算する必要がある.また,衣服を着た人間の動きを表現する場合には,衣服の動きと人体の動きの両方を考慮した衝突計算を行わなければならなず,複雑で時間のかかる処理となる.しかし,人体の動きと衣服の動きの相対速度が十分小さい場合には,衣服から人体への衝突だけに注目すればよく,計算速度を向上させることができる.計算実験として,実際の婦人用ワンピースの型紙と,実測の布特性を用いて,距離画像から作成した人体モデルに着せつけた.その結果,布が人体表面を滑らかにすべるような状況が計算でき,計算結果は実物の形状に近いものになった.

本研究では,過去の購買情報から未来の消費行動を予測・提示することで,ユーザの収支バランスの改善を図ることを目的とする.まず,レシートをスキャン・OCR(光学文字認識)することで,店名・住所・電話番号・消費金額といった購買情報を記録した(レシートログ).大量のレシートログを可視化することで,消費行動には時間的・場所的周期性があることを発見した.そして,周期性を利用し,未来の消費金額・可能性を予測・提示するアプリケーションを開発した.それらを実際にユーザに利用してもらい,評価することで,予測提示がユーザの消費行動に影響を与えることが分かった.

The purpose of the present study was to clarify the activity of kenjyutsu, the traditional physical culture in Japan, practiced as a match or sport in the latter period of Edo era. The object of this study was Sekiguchi-school of Takeda family that was transmitted in the Yoshino River area in the province of Awa (Tokushima prefecture) . The authors investigated the actual condition and character of kenjyutsu in those days using the historical materials of "nogeiko" (the outdoor meet of kenjyutsu) of the school. The findings of this study were summarized as follows : 1) The "taryu-jiai", in which kenjyutsu had come to be practiced as a match in the latter period of Edo era, was carried mainly by the common people rather than the people in the class of samurai and was activated all over the country. 2) "Nogeiko" of Sekiguchi-school of Takeda family was intended to open to the public from the beginning, and it was planned elaborately and practiced systematically. Almost all of the matches in the "nogeiko" were practiced by one person against one, though these were practiced with some formations supposing an actual battle, and there were "metsuke"(referee) who judged victory or defeat. 3) These matches were practiced under the free and large-hearted atmosphere beeing unbound to the ethical idea of Confucianism, and this "nogeiko" had a character of an amusement or pleasure of the common people. 4) This case means that kenjyutsu was practiced as an activity of a match or sport, whose style agreed with several melkmarls pointed by Guttmann, in the province far from the governmental center of this country. This is assumed not to be particular in the area of Tokushima prefecture but to be general in the localities of this country in those days. 5) Practice of kenjyutsu as a match or sport like this and accumulation of the experience,which became a basic condition to accept modern sports since Meiji era in japan, seems to make the rapid diffusion of it easily.

図書館や情報サービスにおいて,分類はどんな位置づけにあるのか,あるいは分類的思考というものがあるとすれば,それにはどんな意義があるのか。こうした点に関連して,分類することの意義,時間という経営資源の節約,情報検索における分類的思考の意味,情報サービスにおける分類的思考の効果,予見可能性を提供することの重要性,学問分野の俯瞰,語からの検索の限界,OPAC利用の問題点など,さまざまな視点から述べる。最後に,一般社会における分類的思考の問題点を示す。分類的思考は,図書館や情報サービスにおいて基盤的位置を占めるものと結論付ける。

景観の中にあらわれる文字は、日常の文字生活を研究する上で考察の対象となりうるものである。本発表は、景観の文字・表記を、文字・表記研究の素材として扱う場合の可能性と問題点について検討する。また、景観文字を記録するためのツール開発の現状について報告する。The landscape character is an object to study on the ordinary use of Japanese character. We discuss the effectiveness and the problem about the linguistic and notational landscape survey, and we also explain the developing system based on GPS for the purpose of landscape survey.
