We investigated the effects of acute endurance exercise and habitual physical activity for health maintenance on human neutrophil function in 12 untrained men. The acute exercise condition was a continuous exercise for 90 minutes at the intensity of 50% and 55% of maximal oxygen uptake (VO2max) on an ergometer. The training program was 3km jogging three times per week for 8 weeks. The capacity of neutrophils to produce reactive oxygen species (ROS) was detected with lucigenin-dependent chemiluminescence (LgCL) and luminol-dependent chemiluminescence (LmCL) on stimulation with opsonized zymosan (OZ) and phorbol myristate acetate (PMA).As for the acute exercise effects, both LgCL and LmCL responses of neutrophils stimulated using PMA consistently increased after exercise at 50% VO2max, whereas those stimulated with OZ remained unchanged. At 55% VO2max, LgCL responses to both stimulants increase maximally 1h after exercise, and then decreased 3h after exercise, whereas LmCL responses to both stimulants increased continuously after exercise at 55% VO2max. These phenomena observed at 55% VO2max compared to 50% VO2max suggests the improved capacity of producing ROS neutrophils after exercise. The number of neutrophils also increased maximally 1h after exercise, due to the mobilization of band neutrophils (shift to the left), suggesting that functional changes was associated with cell mobilization. The increase in the capacity of neutrophils to produce ROS and marked neutrophilia following the acute endurance exercise suggests that a large quantity of ROS may be produced in vivo.As for the training effects, the LgCL and LmCL responses were maintained in the exercise group as compared to the decreased ones in the control group. The difference between the exercise group and the control group was observed only in LgCL response to OZ. Humoral immune factors (IgG, IgA, IgM, C3, C4) and serum opsonic activity were also unaltered. These phenomena suggest that homeostasis might be kept constant in terms of immunity through regular physical activity.

【目的】側臥位における下側肩甲骨の位置について,端座位と比較し,検証することである。【対象】身体に整形外科的疾患がない健常男性9名(年齢:23.7±1.4歳,身長:172.0±2.2㎝,体重:66.7±7.6㎏)とした。【方法】吉田らの方法を参考に,肩甲骨の位置を測定した。測定肢位は,①端座位上肢下垂位,②端座位左肩関節45°屈曲位,③端座位左肩関節90°屈曲位,④左側臥位左肩関節45°屈曲位,⑤左側臥位左肩関節90°屈曲位の5条件とした。統計処理は,5条件における4距離の平均値についてTukey-Kramerの多重比較検定を用いて比較した(有意水準は5%未満)。【結果】側臥位では端座位と比較して(②と④,③と⑤),肩甲骨が挙上,外転,上方回旋することが示された。【結語】側臥位における下側肩甲骨位置の特性から,ポジショニングの方法に応用が可能と考える。

スポーツ選手を対象として, 最大運動負荷に伴う白血球分画と好中球活性酸素産生能の変動を検討したところ, 以下の知見が得られた.1.運動直後に総白血球数が一過性に2倍程度上昇したが, これはリンパ球, 好中球および単球の数的増加によるものであった.好中球数は運動終了1時間後でも上昇した状態にあったが, 核左方移動は認められず, かつ分葉核好中球数の変動と相関が強かったため, 壁在プール由来の好中球動員であったと考えられる.2.リンパ球のなかでLGL (NK細胞) は運動直後に6倍も上昇しており, 終了1時間後には半減した.このようなリンパ球の数的・構成的変動が各リンパ球の機能を測定する上で誤差要因とならないように注意する必要がある.3.ルミノール依存性化学発光法を用いて単離好中球の活性酸素産生能を検討したところ, 刺激物質として貪食粒子のOZを用いた場合のみならず可溶性のPMAを用いた場合にも運動負荷に伴い有意に上昇し, かつ両者の変動には正相関が認められたことから, 単一機序で発光が増強したものと推察される.ルミノール依存性化学発光の反応機構から, 好中球の刺激に伴う脱顆粒能亢進によってMPOを介して強力な活性酸素種 (HOCl) が効率的に産生されやすくなることが示唆された.短時間の運動であっても極端に強度が高い場合には, 毒性の高い活性酸素種を生成しやすい好中球が血中に増加し, リンパ球の機能抑制や筋の炎症等の組織傷害作用を発現する可能性があり, 今後その体内動態をめぐっては, さらに踏み込んだ検討が必要である.

<B>I.東京大学空間情報科学研究センターの概要</B><BR> 東京大学情報科学研究センター(Center for Spatial Information Science;以下,CSISと記す)は,1998年に発足したGISの研究組織であり,地理学,都市工学,経済学,土木工学,電子工学,情報工学といったGISに関連した多分野の研究者で構成されている.CSISは,1988年に日本学術会議が議決した「国立地図学博物館」(仮称)設立の勧告に対応し,地図学博物館の研究部門を具現するものとして設立された.同時に,大学に所属する機関として,大学院生や学部生の教育にも積極的に関与してきた.<BR> 現在CSISは,文部科学省が認定した共同利用・共同研究拠点になっており,全国のGIS関連の研究者に共同研究の仕組みを提供している.具体的には,GISのデータをCSISが多数収集して「研究用空間データ基盤」を構築し,その利用を,研究者による申請と共同研究審査委員会による承認を経た後に可能としている.CSISがデータを収集・購入する際には,データの提供元と覚え書きを交わすことによって,全国の研究者がデータを利用する可能性を確保している.この仕組みにより,個人がデータを入手する際の経済的な負担や手間を軽減できる.<BR> 上記のような利点のために,CSISの研究用空間データ基盤は全国の多数の研究者によって利用されてきた.研究用空間データ基盤は,デジタル地図情報の集積ともみなされ,ある意味ではCSISが地図学博物館の所蔵部門としての役割も果たしていることを意味している.<BR><BR><B>II.研究用空間データ基盤の概要</B><BR> 2010年1月現在,CSISの研究用空間データ基盤には次のデータが収録されている.<BR>・数値地図(各種),細密数値情報[国土地理院提供]<BR>・工業統計[経済統計情報センター]<BR>・国勢調査(各種),事業所・企業統計,住宅・土地統計調査など[(財)統計情報研究開発センター]<BR>・気象庁天気図,アメダス観測年報,1 km メッシュ気候値,世界気象資料など[(財)気象業務支援センター]<BR>・パーソントリップデータ[複数の都市交通計画協議会と札幌市]<BR>・Zmap-TownII[(株)ゼンリン]<BR>・国勢調査地図データ[(株)パスコ]<BR>・GISMAP(各種)[北海道地図(株)]<BR>・CityScope首都圏データ[(株)インフォマティクス]<BR>・ライフマップル[(株)昭文社]<BR>・東京23区中古マンションデータ[(株)リクルート]<BR>・地価公示・地価評価データ[(有)RITS総合研究所]<BR>・東京都都心部標高データ,東京地名データ,東京市大字界ポリゴンデータ ,天保14年天保御江戸絵図データ [研究者による独自作成]<BR><BR><B>III.研究用空間データ基盤の活用状況と今後の展望</B><BR> CSISの研究用空間データ基盤を利用して共同研究を行った人の数は,平成16年度には37機関の87名(延161名)であったが,平成20年度には86機関の291名(延325名)に増加した.利用者の多くは大学の研究者で,シニア,中堅,大学院生を含む若手を含んでいる.このことは,研究用空間データ基盤が,日本のGIS研究の発展に重要な役割を果たしていることを意味している.<BR> CSISでは今後,道路に関するデータや高解像度の地形データなどを研究用空間データ基盤に追加し,その利用を一層促進していく予定である.また,データの更新を通じて,異なる時期のデータが蓄積されていけば,地域における新旧の状況を比較するような研究の発展にも寄与するであろう.<BR>

The third advanced workshop of the Pharmaceutical Society of Japan for pharmaceutical teachers was held from October 12th to 14th, 2013, and participants discussed an outcome-based approach to curriculum development in pharmacy education. In this article, I report the outcome-based spiral curriculum model of group 2A, which was designed to enable pharmacy students to understand a patient's condition, and to provide a basic practical ability in medical therapy. In the curriculum, pharmacy students will learn biochemistry and functional morphology in the first and second years, skills to interview patients in the third year, pathophysiology and pharmacotherapeutics in the third and fourth years, skills to estimate patient disease from physical examination in the fourth year, and practice in understanding real patient conditions in a clinical clerkship in the fifth year. The curriculum also included learning and evaluation methods.

2025年問題を前に一部の地域では新たな施設の建設の延期や中止など介護人材不足が現実味を帯びてきた。介護人材不足の背景には、介護人材需要の大幅な伸びと介護人材の供給が追い付かない現状がある。そこには、一般的にいわれる労働条件の問題だけではなく、法人・事業所の人材マネジメントの課題やそれに対する具体的な方策の不明瞭さが大きな要因であると推測される。また、介護職の全就労者に占める新規就業者の割合が上がらない背景には景気動向に左右されやすい点や既に採用率が全産業平均より高い状況、生産年齢人口の減少があり、大幅な伸びが期待できないことが分かった。法人・事業所での人材マネジメントの強化により離職を防止し、魅力ある職場づくりをすることが採用率の上昇につながると考えられる。また、そのためには質の高い中核的人材を増やし、介護の質を高めることが重要である。そうした人材が新規就労者のロールモデルとして機能し、更には指導・教育を担い、離職を防止する。また、労働環境の改善を促し、介護職のネガティブイメージの払拭に繋がる。結果として介護人材の確保に繋がり、介護人材の需給ギャップの解消になると結論づけられた。

The blackflies fauna was surveyed at 68 stream sites in Tochigi Prefecture, Japan, in April-May 1983. A total of 2,794 larvae and 993 pupae belonging to 20 species were collected from 61 sites in Tochigi. The predominant species were Simulium uchidai (21% of the total), S. japonicum (21%) and Prosimulium yezoense (11%). The widely distributed species were S. japonicum (56%), S. uchidai (49%), S. subcostatum (45%) and S. suzukii (30%). Six species (S. iwatense, P. yezoense, S. japonicum, S. subcostatum, S. uchidai and P. kiotoense) were collected from the low land (lower than 500m above the sea level) to the high land (higher than 1,000m).

With the development of spacecraft, the brittle materials like ceramics and glass have been used for significant components especially in optical and thermal systems. However, they are vulnerable to damage by hypervelocity impact of space debris and micrometeoroids. Against a backdrop of increasing number of space debris, impact-damage evaluation on brittle materials become a growing concern. In this study, a series of hypervelocity impact experiments has been conducted to evaluate internal damage propagation mechanism in a fused-silica-glass plate target by impacting a stainless steel projectile with 1-mm diameter in the velocity range around 2 km/s. Damage propagation behavior was observed from two directions simultaneously by means of in-situ shadowgraph coupled with an ultra-high-speed video camera. The observation concentrates on propagation behavior of lateral cracks and that of internal failure. The former is revealed to a mass of small cracks which were generated by passing of the surface stress wave. The latter propagation is affected by the longitudinal and transversal waves, the reflection of the spherical stress waves on the back surface of target. The failure propagates rapidly two times by the reflected waves: first rapid propagation was caused by tensile stress induced by the reflected longitudinal wave, the secondary rapid propagation was caused by shear-compression mixture stress induced by the reflected transversal wave, which was generated by mode conversion of the longitudinal wave.

内痔核治療の目的で,市販漢方製剤(金鵄丸)を服用し,薬剤性肝障害をきたした2症例について報告する.第1例は51歳,女性.ドック健診にてGOT, GPTの軽度上昇を指摘され,精査のため第1回目の入院.その後経過良好で勤務していたが,全身倦怠感とともに,再びGOT, GPTの上昇がみられ第2回目の入院.入院加療後順調に回復.その後3回目のGOT,GPTの上昇がみられ,その際患者自身より,上記薬剤の服用後,全身倦怠感と肝機能の異常を指摘されるとの申し出があった.LMTは陰性,LSTは弱陽性を示したが,チャレンジテストにて確診した.第2例は46歳,女性.全身倦怠感にて来院.肝機能障害がみられ,その際,上記薬剤を服用したとのことで,LMT, LSTを施行したが,共に陰性.チャレンジテストによって確診した.

The hydrozoan jellyfish Cladonema pacificum is widely distributed on the coast of Japan. Here we report on light-dark conditions for spawning in medusae of this species. All of the medusae captured at Orinohama (Ishinomaki City, Miyagi Prefecture) and at Matsushima (Higashi-Matsushima City, Miyagi Prefecture) spawnedafter dark in the evening of the capture day and continued to spawn every day by dark stimulation (dark-type medusae). In contrast, most of the medusae captured at Asamushi (Aomori City, Aomori Prefecture) spawned in the next morning, following the switch from dark to light; they spawned every day by light stimulation (lighttypemedusae). Medusae of the next generation that had developed from eggs and sperm from Asamushi lighttype medusae spawned in response to light after dark. On the other hand, zygotes from Orinohama and Matsushima medusae developed into dark-type medusae. In light-type female medusae, a light period of 10 seconds after dark was sufficient to induce normal spawning, whereas a continuous dark period of 3 - 9 hours was required before the light stimulation. In dark-type females, a dark period lasting for 3 - 5 minutes was required for spawning. Interestingly, they also spawned in response to light when the order of light and dark periods was reversed. Our data suggest that there are populations of C. pacificum using different light-dark conditions as the trigger for spawning, and that these characters are caused by genetic factors.

従来, 絵画的描写は言語的記述と異なり, その対象との間に何らかの「類似性」が存在するものと考えられてきた。だが, N.グッドマンは『芸術の諸言語』において, そのような考え方が誤りであることを指摘し, 言語的記述と絵画的描写との違いは, その記号系が「稠密」か否かに求められるとした。本稿は, このグッドマンの理論の難点を明らかにし, その克服の方途をフッサールの像理論に見いだそうとする試みである。そして, それによって, 逆にフッサールの像理論をグッドマンの理論に基づいて再構成し, そこに「類似性」を考察する新たな視点を求めたい。
