大分大学高等教育開発センター主催の本講演会は、「協育」ネットワーク推進事業の一環として開催され、学生の教養としての学びを深めるとともに、地域でのボランティア活動として大切にされている「読み聞かせ」などの読書支援ボランティアについての意識の醸成を目的としています。今回は、長年にわたり、本と人をつなぐ仕事をされてこられた川島久美子氏に、昨年度、本学においでいただいた『童話作家あまんきみこ氏』の魅力や作品を友人の立場から語っていただき、また、東北の方言による「語り」の実演を交え、「語りと絵本の世界」のご講話をお願いしました。講演会終了後、同じ講演を聞いた者同志、読書支援に関わることにおいての喜びや悩みなどを語り合い、横の繋がりをつくりながら、これからの活動に役立てていただければと願って、前回同様、交流会を企画しました。

中学校理科の生物分野と高校生物において,教師が指導上難しさを感じることのある単元や箇所を抽出し,指導を困難にしている原因を明らかにするととともに改善策を検討した.抽出された事項は,(1)教科書の記載に関するもの,(2)色に関するもの,(3)実験の技術に関するもの,(4)教授法に関するもの,に大別された.そのうち(1)には,教師の指導を困難にしているだけでなく,生徒の理解を混乱させるものも含まれていた.それぞれの改善策を検討した結果,教師側の教材研究・実験技術の向上,などにより改善できる場合もあったが,教科書出版会社に改善を依頼したほうがいい場合もあった.また,容易には解決できない事項もあった.本報告は,秋田大学大学院教育学研究科の教科教育専攻理科教育専修の授業科目「生物学研究II」において,平成23年度前期の授業で展開された成果報告でもある.

走査電子顕微鏡(走査電顕 scanning electron microscope: SEM)は,細く絞った電子線で試料表面を走査させることで生じる反射電子や弾き出された二次電子などを検出し, 像を得る電子顕微鏡である.これまで医学・生物学分野においてSEMは, 光学顕微鏡(光顕)の分解能では捉えられない表面微細構造の観察に用いられてきたが,その利用は主に試料の表面解析に限定されていた.近年,SEMの検出器や電子銃といった機器の高度化, そしてオスミウムコーティングや固定法など試料調製法の改良により,様々な観察法にSEMを活用できるようになってきた.本稿では,切片 SEM法や光-電子相関顕微鏡法(CLEM),イオン液体観察法,凍結割断法など,表面解析に限らないSEM による組織・細胞の新しい捉え方を示し, それにより得られた知見を紹介する.

In Japan, not a few Japanese people may believe that blood group polymorphisms of the ABO system are related to personality differences. Blood-typing is regarded here as a lay people's personality theory. The aim of this study is to understand that how people use this theory and that what functions the theory Serves. Subjects are students of a university and those of a nursing-school. 7 hypotheses derived are bellow. 1) this theory is popular among these subjects, 2) most of subjects cannot tell whether this theory is valid or not, 3) when someone begins to talk about the topics, conversations would be maintained for a while, 4) this theory can tell about both individuals and personal relationships. and this theory is useful for both beginning conversations and self-presentation at interpersonal situations, 5) contents of this theory are made of generalizations, 6) guesses of others' blood types are influenced by both theory's criteria and impressions of others, 7) evaluations to minor blood groups (B and AB) are relatively negative. After discussing the validity of blood-typing as a personality theory, the implications of this study are discussed.

軽症のSLEと診断され, 顔面, 頭部および背部の皮疹と脱毛を主訴に来院した26歳の女性患者に対し, 小柴胡湯合黄連解毒湯加〓苡仁を用いて治療した。その後の経過として, 紅斑, 脱毛, 光線過敏症などの皮膚症状が消失したうえ, 初診時に640倍を示していた抗核抗体が約2年後には陰性化した。さらに, 約1年間休薬しても皮膚症状が再燃せず, 抗核抗体もほとんど再上昇しなかった。調べ得た限り, SLEに対して漢方薬単独で治療して抗核抗体が陰性化した報告, 小柴胡湯合黄連解毒湯あるいはその加味方で治療した報告はなかった。<br>以上のことから, 本例は軽症のSLEの一部, あるいはSLEと診断できず, 西洋医学的にステロイド治療の対象とならない疑SLE症例に対して, 漢方薬を試みる価値があることを示唆する興味深い症例と考えられた。

We observed alteration of the behavior of coagulation factors during menstrual cycle by examination of nine kinds of test every week upon 12 healthy single females. At the same time we examined 5 healthy males in same way as a cotrast.The items of test are platelet count, bleeding time, coagulation time, capillary fragility (negative pressure), clot retraction, prothrombin time, recalcification time, partial thromboplastin time and serum fibrinogen.We obtained the following results;After period, there are definite increase of platelet count, prolongation of bleeding time, slight prolongation of recalcification time and prothrombin time. During period, coagulation time is shortened slightly and clot retraction became stable as 40∼50%. There is temporal decrease of capillary resistence after period, partial thromboplastin time much prolonged in one to two weeks after period. Serum fibrinogen increased slightly after period.The alteration of the behavior of coagulation factors during menstmal cycle are supposed to be affected by the age, marriage, delivery, amount of bleeding at period and length of menstrual cycle, because of which we should interpret results in consideration of the alteration during menstrual cycle in laboratory study.

本研究は、多言語社会ブータンにおける複言語話者の言語認識と、母語を定義の過程を明らかにすることを目的とする。複数の母語定義基準を提唱するSkutnabb-Kangas(1981)と、関係言語の相対的地位から言語の「優位性」の概念を提唱するWeinreich(1976)の見解を融合した「総体的な母語認識」という概念を提唱し、自身にとって核となる言語を「総体的な母語認識」として定義する。学校関係者612人を対象として母語認識調査をおこなった結果、ブータンの複言語話者の母語認識には、現在の能力や使用頻度を基準に自身の母語を定義する現実主義的傾向と、国家アイデンティティの核とされる国語を個人としても自身の母語とする国家主義的傾向、出身民族の言語を自身の母語とするルーツ志向があることが明らかになった。個人が複数の基準から何を選択し、それに基づきどの言語を自身の核として据えるかには、その個人の自己規定の仕方が反映される。母語認識とは、すなわち自己認識である。

Weathering processes on Martian surface are among the essential issues for both understanding landform evolution and exploring water availability on Martian surface. Studies are reviewed on various weathering processes on Martian surface based on images, data collected by rovers, and laboratory approaches. Recent explorations by the Mars Exploration Rovers reveal that chemical weathering occurs on the surface of basaltic regolith. Dissolution of olivine and oxidation of Fe produces weathering rinds on basaltic surface regolith. Rock interiors also show vugs and veins filled with light-toned efflorescence indicative of chemical weathering. In particular, in high-latitude areas the two Viking landers and the Mars Pathfinder observed honeycomb weathering, angular rock fragments, and polygonal cracks in bedrock. Most of these features are also observed in the Antarctica and other cold deserts on Earth, and are generally attributed to physical weathering such as salt crystallization, thermal weathering, and/or frost weathering. Some studies successfully estimate periods and rates of weathering on the Martian surface, which promote a further understanding of environmental changes and landform evolution.
