哲学と教育哲学のあいだには研究交流の不在が国内外でたびたび指摘されてきた。このプロジェクトでは、お互いの活動に理解のある哲学者(立花・山田)、教育哲学者(三澤・佐藤)、教育実践者(土屋・村瀬)が一つのグループとなって緊密な共同研究を行うことで、日本という教育文化的風土をフィールドとして、よき認識主体としてもつべき徳と避けるべき悪徳を明らかにする。そして、この解明を通じて、理論的に妥当で教育実践上も有効な徳認識論の一つの理論を構築する。

目的:欧米では,心臓血管疾患と歯周病には関連性がみられるというデータが得られているが,日本人における心臓血管疾患と歯周病の関連についてはほとんど報告がない.そこで今回われわれは,東海地方での心臓血管疾患の罹患状況と歯周病の指数を比較することで,日本人における心臓血管疾患と歯周病の関係を明らかにすることを目的とし,健診のデータを基にその関連性の検討を行った.対象と方法:2008年に豊橋ハートセンターのハートの日健診において,一般健診を受診した者でかつ歯科健診を受けた者549名についてのデータを分析対象とした.心臓血管疾患データとして,血圧,脈拍,動脈硬化・不整脈の有無,狭心症・心筋梗塞の既往の有無,手術歴を,歯周病データとして,現在歯数,Community Periodontal Index (CPI)を用いた.これらのデータを用いて,心臓血管疾患の有無と健診時点での歯周病の指数を比較し,統計分析を行った.結果:対象者の平均年齢は61.7±13.6歳であった.狭心症,心筋梗塞,手術(経皮的カテーテルインターベンション)のいずれかの既往のある者を冠動脈心疾患(coronary heart disease: CHD)群(82名:男性44名,女性38名)とし,それに該当しない者,すなわち非CHD群(467名:男性122名,女性345名)と比較検討したところ,女性ではCHD群の現在歯数が有意に少なかった.また男性では,糖尿病,BMI,中性脂肪,HDL,総コレステロールおよび年齢の因子を調整してもなお,CHD既往のあるオッズ比は,CPIコード最大値2以下の者に比べ,CPIコード最大値3以上の者が3.1倍(95%信頼区間1.2〜7.7)高かった.結論:CPIや現在歯数と,CHDの既往があることの関連性が認められ,日本人においても歯周病とCHDに相関がみられることが示唆された.

日本語テキストからの音声合成で必要な韻律情報(アクセント,イントネーション)の生成規則を確立するため,アクセント句を構成する単語の性質からアクセント核の位置を決定する規則を検討した.本規則化では従来の個別的な記述の整理,分析を行い,単語間アクセント結合において,後続単語のアクセント属性として結合アクセント価とアクセント結合様式を提案する.これにより付属語アクセント結合の統一的な規則化を行うと共に,複合単語についても同様の規則化を図った.また,これらの規則の妥当性を示すため,自立語に付属語が複数個連なる文節3445文節,複合単語4877語を用いた推定実験を行った.この結果,各々98.3%,95.4%の正解率が得られ,本規則の有効性が確認された.さらに,これら推定実験結果の分析から,アクセント決定には句を構成する語の性質,句の構造,語の用法と意味等が種々に反映されることが示された.

This paper reports the introduction of PBLs for social implementation as compulsory subjects, the efforts in first year practice, and the analysis of their effects. In the first half-year for the fourth grade students in KOSEN, “Social Implementation Project I” is placed to learn the importance of finding issues through case studies of social Implementations and to understand the relationship between technology and society. In the latter half-year, “Social Implementation Project Ⅱ” is placed, in which students work on social implementation as a team in collaboration with partners inside or outside of our campus. It shows the fact which the student’s self-evaluation of generic skills was improved by the student’s experience of PBLs. The fact that the student’s PROG scores were improved by the experience of PBLs suggests that PBLs for social implementation have the effect of improvement of the student’s competency. It shows that the analysis in this paper provides quantitative evidence for the effects of PBL for social implementation on human resource development.

明治期彩色彫刻の制作技法、彩色技法を解明することを目的とし、作品の保存方法、修復技法の開発などを研究目的とした。作業は構造調査と制作技法の解明から始めた。目視及び現状記録のため、数種のカメラによる撮影を行った。彩色層の浮き上がりを記録する側光撮影も行った。内部構造解明のため、技芸天像、神武天皇像のX線透視撮影を行った。撮影にはイメージングプレートを用い撮影の迅速化、画像処理の便を図った、X線フィルム撮影も行った。結果を16bit出力とし画像ソフトを用いて処理し、構造を解明しディジタル出力で画像にした。その結果、技芸天像は江戸の制作技術を用いず、室町時代以前の木寄せ法を用い、釘、鎹も同時代の形のものを大量に使用している事、これはシカゴ万国博覧会出品を意識して強固に制作したものであろう。像の内部構造には傷みも無く、金具類に錆も見られず健全である。問題は表面彩色層の傷みの原因である。傷みの原因調査と強化処置のテストを行った。クリーニング作業に水が使えないので、数種類の混合液でテストを行った。剥落止め作業でもアクリルエマルジョンに代えて、アクリル樹脂を用い、時間差を利用して洗浄と固定を行う方法を見つけた。彩色顔料の調査に携帯形蛍光X線器機を用い、非接触で短時間に結果を知る事が出来た。顔料に含まれる微量タンパク質(膠)の含有量を算出する研究を行った。彩色下地技法の調査を行い今回の傷みとの関連を調べた。高村光雲が使った木寄せ図面から模型を造り江戸期造仏技法を検討した。日本の仏像修理の歴史を検証し、美術院修理方法を近世文化財修理へ応用が可能かを調べた。修理の資料として立体を計測する実験を3Dレーザースキャニングを用いて行い好成績を収めた。

The guppy (Poecilia reticulata), a polyandrous livebearing fish, is a model organism in the study of sexual selection. This species exhibits sexual dimorphism, such as male body coloration (orange, black, or iridescence color spots). Although there is evidence of a preference for colorful males in female mate choice, a wide variation in male color patterns is found even in a population. Recently, there has been an increase in studies examining the postcopulatory processes involved in sperm competition and cryptic female choice in this species. If male traits that favor sperm competition and/or cryptic female choice correspond with traits preferred in female mate choice, then postcopulatory processes will reinforce the selection to colorful males. In contrast, if males with traits preferred by females are not favored by sperm competition and/or cryptic female choice, then postcopulatory processes will weaken the selection to colorful males. In this paper, I review studies of the relationships between male guppy coloration and female mate choice, sperm competition, and cryptic female choice, and discuss the possible factors that maintain the variation in male coloration.

近年,Drive-by Download 攻撃の被害が増えている.Drive-by Download 攻撃は特定のサイトに訪れたユーザにマルウェアをダウンロード,実行させる攻撃である.Drive-by Download 攻撃においてエクスプロイトキットが利用される攻撃が見られる.そこで URL のパス・クエリ部のパターンや特徴を基に,エクスプロイトキットで利用される悪性 URL の検出手法を提案する.

À la fin du Moyen Âge en France, l'État angevin a été d'une grande étendue. Il comprenait l'Anjou et le Maine en France du Nord, la Lorraine et le Bar en l'Est, la Provence et la Naples au bord de la Méditerranée sous le règne du duc René d'Anjou (1434-1480). Comment il a gouverné ses sujets qui disposaient de traditions politiques et culturelles fort différentes. Ses vastes territoires le forçaient à s'appuyer des « serviteurs » dans toutes les terres. Depuis une trentaine d'années, les historiens les définissent comme des hommes qui ont participé directement ou indirectement à l'exercice du prince. La famille de Beauvau est un des « serviteurs » puissants qui ont bien servi et travaillé pour René. À la fin du 14e siècle, elle a été une petite noblesse dans le duché d'Anjou où elle a eu une terre patrimoniale. Mais son membre est devenu un des plus importants entourages au règne de René. Le seigneur de Beauvau Louis, avec son frère Jean, fut nominé à un des membres d'une commission pour réformer les coutumes d'Anjou le 6 octobre 1458. Ils ont rempli successivement un office de sénéchal d'Anjou et de Provence au milieu du 15e siècle.

放牧地における糞食性コガネムシ類(以下,フン虫と略)の牛糞処理活動が牛糞消失量と不食過繁地の存続期間に及ばす影響について検討した。1994年7月に黒毛和種繁殖牛を輪換放牧しているイタリアンライグラス(Lolium multiflorum Lam.)主体の草地に新鮮放牧牛糞1kgを置き,糞塊へのフン虫飛来を人為的に妨げた無フン虫区,糞を自然状態にしたフン虫区および対照区として無糞区を設けた。糞設置日に早川式ザル法により1kgの牛糞塊に飛来したフン虫を採集し,その個体数を記録した。糞設置後1週間目の糞の消失量を求めるとともに,糞設置後の牛糞塊面積の変化を調べた。糞塊周辺の草丈を測定し,その経日変化を検討した。調査は1994年7月から1995年5月まで行った。1kgの牛糞塊には平均726.6頭のフン虫が飛来し,その中で牛糞を土中に埋め込む能力を持つゴホンダイコクコガネとカドマルエンマコガネは7.2%であった。糞設置後1週間目の糞の乾物消失率については,無フン虫区で6.9%,フン虫区で23.0%であり,フン虫区が有意に高かった(P<0.01)。糞塊面積については,無フン虫区で日間差がほとんど認められなかったものの,フン虫区では糞設置後6日目に有意に増加した(P<0.05)。しかし,いずれの糞塊とも糞設置後282日目には消失していた。糞設置後20日目における草丈はいずれの処理区とも対照区と比べて高く(P<0.01),この時期に不食過繁地の形成が認められた。糞設置後20-300日目では,各処理区間の草丈に有意差は認められず,いずれの区の草丈も漸減した。無フン虫区およびフン虫区における不食過繁地は,いずれも280日間存続した。これらのことから,フン虫は1週間で新鮮牛糞の約4分の1を消失させるものの,不食過繁地の存続期間に及ぼす影響はほとんど認められないことが示唆された。

明治二年(一八六九)八月、金沢城二ノ丸殿中において前田家八家の本多政均が暗殺されるという事件が起こる。その三年後、本多家家中は仇討ちを果たす。この事件は、「明治忠臣蔵」と評価されるにいたるのだが、なぜ本多政均暗殺事件と仇討ちが「忠臣蔵」と冠されるのだろうか。その所以はなにか。本稿は、「明治忠臣蔵」とイメージづけられた歴史像を「歴史的記憶」と位置づけ、その形成過程をあきらかにするものである。本多政均暗殺事件と仇討ちは、数年後には実録物に仕立てられ、明治四二年(一九〇九)九月の従四位への追贈を契機に碑石・銅像の建設運動へと展開し、その後小説へと流れ込む。その過程において、この一件は赤穂事件と重ね合わせられ、義士の物語として人びとに記憶されていくのである。

Cells of <I>Clostridium botulinum</I> type A strain 190 grown in thioglycolate medium (GYPT medium) autolysed after having reached a maximum growth. This strain was dissociated into large and small colony-forming types in semisolid media. The cells obtained from the large colony type autolysed more rapidly than those from small one. Washed cells harvested at logarithmic growth phase lysed in phosphate buffer at 37&deg;C within 2-3 hours. Autolysis rose above pH 6.0 and was optimal near pH 7.0. The potential for autolysis reached a maximum toward the end of the logarithmic growth phase and thereafter the cells became resistant to autolysis. The autolytic activity was destreyed by heating the cells at 60&deg;C for 10 minutes and was slightly affected by cysteine (10<SUP>-2</SUP>M), N-ethylmaleimide (10<SUP>-2</SUP>M) and mercaptoethanol (10<SUP>-1</SUP>M).<BR>During autolysis nitrogen, protein, nucleic acids, reducing sugars, amino sugars and botulinum toxin were released from the cells as the reduction of the turbidity in cell suspension occurred. Electron microscopic observations on the process of autolysis revealed that the partial lysis of walls occurred first at the end of the organism and the cytoplasmic contents were lost through such lesions. The lysis of the wall centripetally spread and finally the morphological entity of the wall was completely lost. From these findings it is suggested that the autolysis may be proceded by auto-digestion of the cell wall at the end of the organism.

In Germany, the cement bag industry started about 40-50 years ago. The development of the same industry in the United States gave an impetus to the improvement of German cement bag manufacture. In the beginning, they were made from kraft paper imported from Northern Europe. The improvement of the cement bag industry of Germany owed much to Prof. Hertzberg. A great progress was made in the quality of cement bags when the paper was standardized. Owing to the control of importation and the increased demand of paper. bags, there was a shortage of home-made kraft paper and as a result, sulfite pulp had to be mixed to a great extent, causing deterioration in paper quality. The writer points out many difficulties thus overcomed in Germany and wants to encourage especially those engaged in the manufacture of cement bag paper in Japan.

Japan Agency for Marine-Earth Science and Technology carried out seismic surveys using ocean bottom seismographs (OBSs) and a multi-channel reflection survey system from 2004 to understand the structural characteristics and the continuity of the Izu–Ogasawara Arc crust. The Izu–Ogasawara Arc developed from the oceanic crust and produced andesitic middle crusts. The velocity is similar to that identified in the continental crust, and the initial continental crust might have been produced during development of the arc crust. To investigate the process of the Izu–Ogasawara Arc crust, many 2-D velocity structures are compared using unified specifications of data acquisition and analysis, and structural commonalities and differences are evaluated. The specification was confirmed previously through simulation studies using the structure obtained. These arc crustal structures have common characteristics, which are an upper crust with a Vp of 4.5–6.0 km/s, a middle crust with a Vp of 6.0–6.5 km/s, and a lower crust with a Vp of 6.5–7.5 km/s. The lower crust is composed of two layers; the upper part has a Vp of 6.5–6.8 km/s and the lower part has a Vp of 6.8–7.5 km/s. The uppermost mantle has a Vp of less than 8.0 km/s. Development of the arc crust results in crustal thickening accompanied by rifting. Back arc opening after rifting plays the role of crustal thinning. The Shikoku Basin, which is the older backarc basin, has a relatively thin crust with a thickness of approximately 10 km, and the eastern part has a high velocity lower crust with a Vp of over 7 km/s. In addition, the upper crust of the eastern part of the Shikoku Basin has some intrusive materials and strike slip faults with few vertical displacements. Such a high-velocity lower crust is not distributed in the Parece Vela basin. The Ogasawara Ridge has different characteristics from the above arc crust, which are a crustal thickness of approximately 20 km but a complicated structure including a narrow and thin crust in the N–S direction. Here, we introduce the structural characteristics of the entire Izu–Ogasawara Arc crusts based on unified seismic surveys and data analysis methods.
