9-(Acyloxy)anthracenes were synthesized by the reactions of anthrone (9(10 H)-anthracenone) with acyl chlorides.Treatment of these substances with various metal halides in benzene under reflux gave the corresponding 10-acylanthrones and anthrone.

The purpose of this study is to clarify the role that the travel industries played a popularization of skiing in Japan. At fi rst, we clarify the components and the relative industries of the leisure skiing. And we made the history chronology of leisure skiing that is composed of skiing, other sports, the ski areas, leisure, the travel industries, and the society and the cultures. The development of skiing is quantitatively clarifi ed from the statistical materials, and it has been clarifi ed that the most advanced by popularize time is between 1995 and around 1980. And, historical research topics were extracted as follows; (1) The travel industries: How have the travel agencies supported the popularization of skiing? (2) The traffi c industries: How have the traffi c industry companies supported the popularization of skiing? (3) The lodging industries: How have the inn, the hotel, the bed and breakfast, and the resort condominium, etc. supported the popularization of skiing?

劇症1型糖尿病は急激な発症と重症代謝異常が特徴である.本委員会では膵臓MRIのうち水分子の拡散制限を反映する拡散強調画像に注目し,劇症1型糖尿病発症早期における診断への有用性を検討した.画像データが存在する劇症1型糖尿病症例14例について,拡散の定量化指標であるADC(Apparent Diffusion Coefficient)値を算出し,非糖尿病対照例21例と比較した.劇症1型糖尿病症例では膵臓の全領域でADC値が有意に低下し,膵全体にわたる単核球浸潤による細胞密度上昇が示唆された.ADC値の最良のカットオフ値を用いると,診断感度86 %,特異度71 %であり,非典型例2例の診断にも有用であった.また,劇症1型糖尿病症例におけるADC値は血糖値および動脈血pHと有意に相関し,発症後経過とともに上昇傾向であった.以上より,膵臓MRI拡散強調画像は劇症1型糖尿病の効率的な診断の一助となることが示唆された.

症例は71歳,男性,海外渡航歴なし.1982年9月より粘血便出現,翌年1月潰瘍性大腸炎と診断され,保存的治療で症状軽快,1984年11月直腸びらん部の生検よりアメーバ原虫が検出された.メトロニダゾール投与で症状は完全に消失,内視鏡的にも治癒が確認された.以後1985年8月及び1986年4月の大腸内視鏡検査で異常なかったが,1990年7月再び粘血便出現,大腸内視鏡検査で直腸,S状結腸,横行結腸にびらん,小潰瘍を認め,生検でアメーバ原虫を検出,前回と同様メトロニダゾール投与で治癒した.内視鏡で治癒確認後のアメーバ赤痢の再発は極めてまれであるが再発機序としてアメーバ原虫の(1)腸管内潜伏(2)再感染が考えられた.

(目的) 前立腺肥大症患者に対して実施した, ホルミウムレーザー前立腺核出術 (HoLEP) と経尿道的前立腺切除術 (TUR-P) による治療効果を比較検討した.<br>(対象と方法) 2004年4月から2006年3月までの間にTUR-Pを施行した患者41人 (平均年齢69.2±7.3歳) と, 2005年12月から2007年2月までの間にHoLEPを施行した患者46人 (平均年齢68.2歳±7.5歳) の計87人を対象とした.<br>(結果) 両群間に患者年齢, 術前のIPSS, QOL index, 残尿量, 最大尿流率, 平均尿流率, 推定前立腺容積に有意差はなかった. ヘモグロビンの低下はTUR-P群1.91±1.3, HoLEP群1.15±1.2 (P<0.05) とHoLEP群で有意に少なかった. 手術時間はTUR-P群で118.3±369分, HoLEP群161.9±65.0分とHoLEP群で有意に長かった (p<0.001). 切除重量はTUR-P群が29.3±13.3g (10~55), HoLEP群34.8±33.4g (5~148) で有意差はなかった (p=0.337). カテーテル留置期間 (115.2±27.5vs52.1±29.6時間p<0.001) および入院期間 (9.4±2.2vs6.6±2.3日p<0.001) はHoLEP群で有意に短かった. また, 術後3ヵ月目のIPSS, QOL index, 残尿量, 最大尿流率, 平均尿流率に有意差を認めなかった.<br>(結論) HoLEPはBPHによる下部尿路閉塞に対し, TUR-Pと同等の治療効果を認めた. またTUR-Pに比べ出血が少なく, カテーテル留置期間や入院期間も短かった. HoLEPはTUR-Pの代替治療になり得る有力な治療選択肢であると考えられた.

<p>本研究では,近年広く普及しつつあるダンスジャンルの 1 つであるブレイクダンスを対象に,自然な環境下での情動状態を自動的に判別・可視化するシステムの開発を行った.その際,ダンサーの身体に慣性センサーを取り付けることでポジティブ・ネガティブという各情動状態(感情価)における加速度データを測定した.そして,その加速度データに対してCNN(畳み込みニューラルネットワーク)を用いた深層学習を行い,情動状態の識別を行うモデルを構築してシステムに組み込んだ.本研究では,当該システムの概要に関して紹介するとともに,上記のシステムを応用し,ダンスバトルにおける複数名のダンサーの情動状態が互いに影響し合う様子をリアルタイムに可視化するアプリケーションの開発も行なっている.また,ブレイクダンスをはじめとするヒップホップカルチャーにおいては創作物のオリジナリティーが非常に重要性を有している.創造性と情動との関係性は先行研究でも議論がなされており,ダンサーの独創的で新しい動作の創作過程と,情動状態との結びつき・関係性といった文化を支援する観点からも本研究にて考察を行う予定である.</p>

<p>We examined the effectiveness of Service Management Framework in designing counter operations in disaster victim support through the hands-on support activity for Ojiya city's victim certification after Niigata-ken Chuetsu Earthquake, Oct. 23, 2004. The service package and the Service Delivery System for the counter operation of victim certificate issuance was designed and implemented on the basis of Service Management Framework. As a result of customer satisfaction survey on Ojiya city and Kawaguchi town, a neighbouring town also affected in the event, it was clarified that the counter operation of Ojiya city was evaluated higher in terms of simplicity of the procedure by the victims than that of Kawaguchi town.</p>

The analysis concerns the reading of dreams in ancient China. Ancient China had the reading of dreams as a part government. The way of reading of dreams was by astronomical observation, and the principles of Yin and Yang, the sun and the moon principles in an extremely complex formula. In B.C.509 there was an eclipse of the sun and that night a man had an ominous dream. A fortune-teller attached greater importance to an eclipse of the sun than to the ominous dream. But it did not mean that the dream wasn't of importance as the investigation of the state of the sun and the moon principles was very important for the reading of dreams. This event merely emphasized the understanding of the important relationship between the eclipse of the sun and the ominous dream.

Prostaglandins play various roles in the brain under physiological as well as pathological conditions. This review summarizes our present knowledge about brain localization of two isoforms of cyclooxygenase, enzymes responsible for prostaglandin biosynthesis, and their possible functions. Cyclooxygenase-1 (COX-1) is con-stitutively expressed in microglia throughout the brain. Little is known about COX-1 function there. COX-1 is also abundantly expressed in the primary sensory neurons both at their cell bodies and at the central terminals in the medulla and spinal cord suggesting its involvement in sensory signal transmissions. COX-2 is constitutively expressed in telencephalic neurons in an activity-dependent manner. This neuronal expression of COX-2 was reported to be involved in the regulation of regional cerebral blood flow. On the other hand, some studies have reported that COX-2 might exert adverse actions after brain ischemia and in Alzheimer's disease. Under various infectious as well as inflammatory conditions, COX-2 is expressed in brain endothelial cells. We presented a large body of evidence that elevation of prostaglandin EZ in the brain and occurrence of fever during infection/inflammation are the consequences of this endothelial expression of COX-2. Thus, brain endothelial cells seem to transmit blood borne cytokine signals to brain by producing prostaglandin E2.

林地残材や農作物非食用部などのセルロース系バイオマスと言われる資源は再利用できるにも関わらず、廃棄されている割合が高いのが現状である。その原因はいくつかあり、収集コストが高いこと、水分含有量が高いこと、さらに難分解性有機物質を多く含むことが挙げられる。難分解性有機物質の分解方法には熱処理や化学的処理などがあるが、これらの方法は環境に対して必ずしも良いとは言えない。そこで、本研究では廃棄されるセルロース系バイオマスの有効利用を目的とし、酵母菌によるセルロース系バイオマスの分解・資化実験を行った。 実験は単一炭素源として無機塩液体培地にセルロース系バイオマス(本研究はワラとスギを使用した)を加え、長期培養した。その間、一定期間ごとに生菌数を測定した。また使用する菌は前培養した。 実験の結果、単一炭素源にワラを加えた培地では菌の生育が確認できた。また、粉末加工した方が生育に適していることがわかった。

鉢花カーネーションの流通・消費段階での収穫後品質向上のために低照度下での生理および品質の変化について調査した.個葉の光補償点は'マイフェアレディ'ではPPFD 10.3 &mu;mol・m^&minus;²・s^&minus;¹,'スカーレット'12.9 &mu;mol・m^&minus;²・s^&minus;¹と算出された.Fv/Fm,&Phi;PSIIおよび葉のクロロフィル含量は120 &mu;mol・m^&minus;²・s^&minus;¹では維持されたが,10 &mu;mol・m^&minus;²・s^&minus;¹(16時間日長)においては著しく低下した.10 &mu;mol・m^&minus;²・s^&minus;¹において花弁の糖含量とアントシアニン含量の低下が認められた.10 &mu;mol・m^&minus;²・s^&minus;¹では120 &mu;mol・m^&minus;²・s^&minus;¹の鉢と比較して開花数が減少し,鉢花の日持ちも短かった.これらのことから,光補償点前後の弱光下ではクロロフィルの分解と葉の黄化が進行し,光合成量が著しく低下して糖含量が低下した結果,個々の小花と鉢花全体の日持ちが短縮されたものと推察された.10 &mu;mol・m^&minus;²・s^&minus;¹条件下の'スカーレット'では30 ppm 5-アミノレブリン酸(ALA)処理により葉の&phi;PSII値およびクロロフィル含量の低下と黄化が緩和され,開花数,小花および鉢花の日持ちが改善される傾向にあった.PPFD 5 &mu;mol・m^&minus;²・s^&minus;¹(24時間日長)条件下の'マイフェアレディ'では30 ppmおよび150 ppm ALA単独処理で鉢花の日持ちが有意に延長された.PPFD 15 &mu;mol・m^&minus;²・s^&minus;¹(12時間日長)条件下の'マイフェアレディ'において,30 ppm ALA処理はクロロフィル含量の低下を緩和したが,光合成速度や光補償点には影響しなかった.<br>
