患者は65歳,男性.検診で膵管拡張を指摘され当科受診となった.US,単純および造影CTで主膵管拡張を認め,膵実質内に明らかな腫瘤は指摘出来なかった.EUSで主膵管は体尾部で4mmと著明な拡張を認め,その頭側に境界不明瞭で辺縁不整な低エコー領域を認めた.膵上皮内癌を念頭におきERCPを施行した.主膵管は頭体部移行部で限局性狭窄を来たし,尾側膵管は数珠状拡張を呈していた.膵液細胞診の結果は陰性であった.画像診断で腫瘤の認識は困難であったが,膵管像からは膵癌を強く疑い膵頭十二指腸切除を行った.病理学的所見は,主膵管と分枝膵管に低乳頭状増殖を示し,PanIN1からPanIN3に相当する異型上皮の置換性増殖を認めた.検索の限り明らかな浸潤像は確認されなかった.

校務支援システムを導入した小・中学校の教員を対象に,校務支援システムの運用前・1年後・2年後の3回において質問紙調査を実施し,校務の状況に関する教員の意識および校務支援システムの機能の必要性についての経年比較を行った.その結果,校務支援システムの運用前と比較して1年後・2年後に,教員は校務の状況が改善されたと感じること,校務支援システムの機能の必要性を高く感じることが示された.また,校務支援システムの利用年数が1年目の教員と比較して2年目以降の教員は,児童生徒の状況把握や帳票印刷の機能に対して,より高く必要性を感じていることが示された.

Up to the present day, the affinities of <I>Döderleinia berycoides</I> (H<SUB>ILGENDORF</SUB>) are not certainly known. In this anatomical study it was found that this species was closely related to <I>Synagrops japonicus</I> (S<SUB>TEINDACHNER</SUB> et D<SUB>ÖDERLEIN</SUB>). It is worthy of a special mention that it is characteristic of these species to have a spherical hollow on each siele in the basioccipital and the exoccipital of the ventral side of the cranium, which the writer herein calls the basicccipital fossa, and in which the anterior spherical branch of the air-bladder firmly fits. In spite of the resemblance of <I>Synagrops</I> to <I>Apogon</I> (A pogonidae) in having the seperated dorsals and two spines in anal fin, the affinity of this genus seems rather closer to Döderleinia. It should be transferred to the Serranidae and included in the Doderleininae with the latter. On the other hand, these genera are related to <I>Stereolepis, Malakichtliys</I> (Serranidae), and <I>Acropoma</I> (Acropomidae) in some important features.

α炭素原子がカルボニル基を持つ化合物のSN2反応は、一般的なアルキル基の反応と比べると極端に反応が加速されることが報告されています。この加速の原因を実験的に明らかにするために、原料にフェナシルクロリド、求核剤に水酸化ナトリウムを使って研究を進めています。この2つの物質を常温で反応させるとαヒドロキシアセトフェノンが生成し、さらに反応して安息香酸が得られることがこれまでの実験で明らかになっています。この安息香酸生成について報告します。

症例は手術歴や外傷歴のない49歳, 男性. 以前から時折下腿浮腫を自覚していたが, 自然軽快していたため放置していた. 2011年 7月に右下腿浮腫, 歩行時痛で受診. 右下腿深部静脈の拡張と血栓像を認め, 深部静脈血栓症と診断. 臨床症状, 心電図および経胸壁心臓超音波検査断層法からは肺塞栓症を疑わせなかったが, スクリーニングで施行した胸部造影CTで両肺動脈に血栓像を認めた. 抗核抗体, 凝固因子, プロテインS, プロテインCなどの血栓素因は正常範囲内であったが, 血中ホモシステイン値が67.7μmol/Lと著増しており高ホモシステイン血症を伴った深部静脈血栓症および肺血栓塞栓症と診断した. 抗凝固療法およびビタミン補充療法を開始し, 自覚症状と画像所見の改善を認め, 血中ホモシステイン値は 1カ月後には正常化し, 現在静脈血栓症の再発を認めていない. 高ホモシステイン血症を伴った静脈血栓塞栓症の報告は比較的稀であり, 文献的考察を含め報告する.

A series of triazolodiazepines was synthesized and evaluated for anti-platelet activating factor (PAF) activities. Structure-activity relationship (SAR) studies on this series revealed that the introduction of a methyl group into the 8-position of the thienodiazepine nucleus can lead to a lengthening of the duration of action. Introduction of a methyl group produced an asymmetric center and the enantiomers so formed were separated with an optical resolving column. In the in vitro assay system, the (+)-isomers displayed 50-200 times more potent anti-PAF activity than the (-)-isomers. After comparison of toxicology and pharmacokinetics, (+)-6-(2-chlorophenyl)-3-cyclopropanecarbonyl-8, 11-dimethyl-2, 3, 4, 5-tetrahydro-8H-pyrido[4', 3' : 4, 5]thieno[3, 2-f][1, 2, 4]triazolo[4, 3-a][1, 4]diazepine (35(+)-isomer, E6123) was selected from among the compounds synthesized as a candidate for clinical study.

The occurrence of pathogenic viruses and indicator microorganisms in water samples from a wastewater treatment plant in Japan was investigated monthly from July 2003 to June 2004. Forty-eight samples of raw sewage, treated sewage before chlorination, effluent after chlorination, and reclaimed water after advanced wastewater treatment using sand filtration and ozonation were subjected to a virus concentration method using an HA electronegative membrane, followed by virus detection using a TaqMan PCR method. Noroviruses of genogroups I and II were detected in all 12 raw sewage samples, showing much higher concentrations in winter, an epidemic season. Corresponding to the occurrence in raw sewage, the concentrations of noroviruses in treated sewage and effluent also increased in winter. The concentrations of enteroviruses and adenoviruses in the tested samples were relatively constant compared with those of noroviruses. Noroviruses and adenoviruses were still detected even after advanced wastewater treatment, but the concentrations of these viruses were much lower than those in the effluent samples. Viruses were removed by wastewater treatment as effectively as indicator microorganisms (total coliforms, Escherichia coli, and F-specific phages), suggesting that sewerage systems can contribute to reducing the load of pathogenic viruses discharged into aquatic environments.

限られた資源を,任意のタイミングでやってくる複数の利用者が利用するシステム-銀行のATMやスーパーマーケットのレジなどが誰にでも分かりやすい例である-を考える.利用者がやってきたときに直ちに利用できる(空いている)資源の数がゼロであれば,当然のことであるが利用できない利用者が出てくる.待ち行列(バッファ)があり,資源に空きが出るまで利用者が待つことが可能であれば,このシステム全体を,資源が利用できるまでの平均待ち時間で定量的に評価することができる.バッファが空になると,休暇(バケーション)で総称される副次的作業に資源を使う場合,利用者の平均到着間隔が資源1つの平均利用時間に近づくに従って,システム内に滞留する利用者数が増え,副次的作業が後回しにされる.必要なタイミングで副次作業を行うことができるように,今回は,本来の待ち行列の前にもう一つ待ち行列を準備し,2つの待ち行列の間にゲートを設ける.このようなゲートを導入したM/G/1+vacationシステムについての諸量を,Level-Crossing法を用いて解析をする.

本論文では、地域統合の進展に伴う空間計画制度の変容に関する研究のケーススタディとして、イギリスの空間計画制度におけるEUの空間政策・計画の影響について論じている。はじめに、EUレベルでの地域政策・空間計画の展開について整理している。第3章では、(1)主としてEU地域政策の影響によるリージョナリズムによって、地域レベルの組織が設立されたこと、(2)EUレベルの政策・計画がRPGにおいて考慮されていること、を述べている。第4章では、National Planという考え方が、ESDPの最終合意の後に現れてきていることを示している。結論として、EUレベルと地域レベルの重要性が高まるにつれて、国レベルの計画は、地域計画の枠組みとしての機能とともに、EUレベルと地域・地方レベルの「導管」としての役割を求められている。
