For the purpose of obtaining fundamental thermodynamic data for the carbothermic reduction of alumina, two types of experiments were carried out. In the first type of experiments, alumina was reduced with graphite powder at 2173K in a graphite crucible in an atmosphere of argon in the presence of iron at 2173K. In the second, a liquid Al-Fe-C ternary alloy was equilibrated with both graphite and Al4C3 in a graphic crucible in an atmosphere of argon at temperatures between 2073 and 2373K.Alumina was reduced fairly fast and the aluminum content in the resultant Al-Fe-C alloy increased with time for at least the first 90min, but the evaporation of aluminum from the alloy and the formation of Al4C3 through the reaction between Al in the alloy and C from the crucible caused the aluminum content to decrease gradually. From the equilibration experiments it has been found that the activity coefficient of Al in the Al-Fe-C alloy and the equilibrium alloy composition can be adequately obtained by applying the regular solution model to the liquid alloy and by using the data of a functions available from literature along with the standard Gibbs energies of formation of the existing chemical species in the system.

In a face-to-face verbal communication, listener’s movements such as nod ding and body motions are interactively synchronized with a speaker’s speech. We have developed a group communication system that uses multiple ”InterActors” that generate communicative motions such as nodding based on the rhythm of utterance like audiences in a VR (Virtual Reality) classroom. The sound environment has a psychological effect on the classroom space. For example, previous studies have shown that the acoustic environment of the classroom affects the learning efficiency of students in the classroom. It may be easier to speak in a noisy environment, such as a classroom break, than speaking in a quiet space. In this paper, we developed a speech support system based on a noisy environment generated by arranging a listener’s InterActor and multiple non-participant characters that were not involved in the conversation, and evaluated the effects of the InterActor’s nodding and back-channel in the noisy environment. As a result, type of noise would give users a different feel, which suggests individual differences in the perception of the appropriate volume for each type of noise. Thus, we analyzed and evaluated the effect of the type of noise and the presence or absence of non-participants on speech by changing the volume of the noise and selecting an appropriate volume in individuals for users. As a result, we verified the effect of the noise environment on the speech.

The renewal maintenance of the public facilities becomes the important problem of the Japanese local government. The maintenance of the public facilities by the compound type is one of the one solving this problem. Therefore, it is expected that plans to maintain a library in complex public facilities increase. This study is intended to grasp the condition of the plan to install a library in complex public facilities. This article examines the influence that complex public facility gives to the use of the library after having grasped it about the facilities situation of the library. The procedures of the analysis are as follows: 1. Grasp the situation of the library from a collection of books scale, an exclusive possession area in a setting form, the establishment year. 2. Grasp the situation of an established library from municipality type and agriculture area classification. 3. Grasp the situation of a library installed in the complex facilities from a kind, the installed number of public facilities, a combination pattern. 4. Examine the influence of facilities installed in complex facilities on users' use by libraries. The results of the analysis are as follows: 1. The facilities condition of the library to install in the compound complex becomes severer than the construction in the independent building. It was revealed that limitation about the floor space was particularly big 2. It was revealed that it was more effective than municipality type to use the agriculture area classification as an analysis item. 3. The meeting place, multipurpose hall, government building, lifelong education facilities, culture facilities were typical examples of public facilities installed in the complex facilities. The numerical value that was the highest in a setting ratio of the public facilities was 53%, but the high numerical value of a frequent setting ratio was around 30%. 4. It was revealed that the number of the library visitors increased by installing it in the compound complex. However, in the public facilities prepared into the compound comlex facilities, there was the facilites which had no effect which increased the visitor of the library.

これまで在日コリアンの2 世、3 世にとって恋愛そして結婚における「民族的な違い」とは大きな壁であったことは報告されてきた。すなわち「朝鮮人との結婚はゆるされない」「日本人ではなく同胞と結婚すべきだ」という言説はよく聞かれるものであった。     これに対して近年では、通名であった人々も民族名で生活するケースも増えてきた。 そうなると名前だけではオールドカマーか、ニューカマーなのか、さらには出身国が中国か韓国か台湾かなどの区別もつかないことがあり、最初から「違い」を前提としたつきあい、そして結婚に至るケースがある。グローバリゼーションが進展するなか、民族的な差異は他の多くの差異(年収、出身地域、学歴、文化資本など)の一つに解消されている感もある。     では未婚社会と言われる現代において、(旧来的な)「民族的差異」は本当に婚姻を疎外する要因になっていないのか。そもそも在日コリアンの若者世代は、恋愛において民族の違いに意味付けをするのか。ここでは聞き取り調査の結果をもとに、昨今の在日若者世代の結婚、恋愛観について述べていくことにする。
