The purpose of this study was to determine the effects of well-rounded exercise program (WREP) on cardiorespiratory fitness, muscular strength, flexibility, body composition, and serum lipid concentration in a group of older outpatients. WREP was composed of programmed aerobic/anaerobic accommodating circuit exercise (PACE) and flexibility exercises Twenty-two volunteers (69.6±3.2yr) were used as subjects All participants engaged in a supervised exercise program (50min/day and 3 days/week) for 12 weeks After 12 weeks of training, there was a significant increase in V0_2 corresponding to lactate threshold (13.4%) but peak VO_2 did not change. There were significant increases for knee extension (17.1%) and flexion (12.3%), chest pull (10.9%), low back flexion (26.6%), and shoulder press (14.6%) after training. Side stepping agility (13%), trunk flexion (129%) and trunk extension (19%) were also significantly improved. There were significant decreases in percent of body fat (-8.3%), total cholesterol (-7.1%) and low-density hpoprotein cholesterol (-9.7%) Blood pressure also decreased in SBP (-1OmmHg) and DBP (-5mmHg) The decline in SBP was significant in thirteen hypertensive patients (-14mmHg) compared to non-hypertensive patients (-5mmHg) These results indicate that WREP elicits significant improvement of overall fitness in older outpatients (Jpn J Phys Fitness Sports Med 2003, 52 : 513~524)

Cattleyaおよび近縁属の交配種約210について原種と同様に花色素の花被内分布,花披色および表皮細胞の形状について調査し,原種との相関について検討した。1 花被内のカロチノイドとアントシアニンの分布様式は原種より多く,12のパターンに分類した。ラベンダー系のCattleya, Brassocattleya, BrassolaeliocattleyaやLaeliocattleyaは親と同じ分布様式P_2を示したが,C. intermedia var. aquiniiやC. trianaeとL. pumilaの子孫で表皮にアントシアニンを含む(P3)交配種があった。また,Sophronitisの子孫でもカロチノイドを欠く"ソフロレッド"のものはP3であった。赤色花はカロチノイドとアントシアニンを共に含んでいた。アントシアニン色素を表皮に含むSophronitisの子孫が多かった。しかし,表皮にアントシアニンを含まない赤色のSophronitisの子孫も少数あった。2 Brassavolaの子孫は黄緑,白,ラベンダー色と色度図上原点を通って分布し、赤色の交配種はなかった。色度図上から,ラベンダー系の交配種より,楔花,楔花より"ソフロレッド"の花の方がより赤味が強かった。S. coccineaはLaeliaと交配したとき,その親となる種によって広く分布した。3 交配種の表皮細胞の形や大きさは両親の性質を強く受けた(回帰係数で,形,0.32〜0.56,花弁・高さ,0.40〜0.50,唇弁・高さ,0.37〜49)。また,種や種を構成するグループによって影響の表われ方は異なった。 C. aurantiacaは交配相手の影響が出やすく,C. labiataグループはグループの形質の影響が強く出た。

Density of molten silicon was measured by electromagnetic levitation in the wide temperature range including underccoled condition of about 300K. Density was 2.52 g/cm^3 at m.p. and volumetric expansion coefficient was.〜1.6 x 10^<-4>/K near the m.p. Density anomaly was not observed.

本研究では、日本ポピュラー音楽の3名の作曲家の楽曲を対象として、楽譜データベースを作成し、それを用いてリズムと旋律を分析した。リズムについては、作曲家ごとに1小節単位で音価の列を抽出して上位パターンを比較分析した所、作曲家による違いがあることが分かった。旋律については、作曲家ごとにn音旋律(音高の列、n=3~7)を抽出して上位パターンを比較分析した所、短い旋律(n=3)には共通パターンが多いことが示された。さらに、音階上における音の分布と遷移に偏りがあることが示された。一方、サビの最初の音高が高いとは言えないことを確認した。

Motion graphics is a form of visual expression characterized by non-narrative, non-figurative based visuals that change over time. Due to the expansion of its application areas, a consideration of the affective quality of motion graphics is growing more important. This paper proposes an arousal estimation method that uses optical flow analysis as an affective quality assessment method for motion graphics. The primary objective is to verify two indexes: the total flow amount and the average magnitude of motion vectors. According to correlation analyses between each index and the arousal factor scores of video stimulus derived from an impression test with human participants, the correlation between the average magnitude of motion vectors and the arousal factor scores is significant. An analysis of the distribution of displacements showed that about three pixels per 33.3 msec is the border value: a higher ratio of movement slower than that border reduces the arousal level, and faster movement raises the level.

Under the occupation, the Japanese government needed to enact the new legal system of the Imperial House in line with the policy of GHQ. This paper treats the Japanese Constitution Articles 8 and 88, the Imperial Economy Law and the Law for Enforcement of the Imperial Economy Law. On the discussion of every system, GHQ required that the Diet under the new constitution controlled the Imperial Economy and the system made clear. On the other hand, Japanese government intended to prepare the system that established Imperial financial basis.

本研究では, 2字熟語に使用される漢字の頻度特性を分析した.その結果, 「牲」は, 漢字2字熟語の第2文字目でのみ使用されること, その用例はすべて「犠牲」であったこと, 同様な特性を持つ漢字は, 「娠」, 「剖」, 「騨」, 「惧」, 「綻」であったこと, が示された.すなわち, ある特定の熟語にしか使用されない特別な漢字が存在することが明らかになった.このような結果を考慮して教材作成を行えば, 有用な日本語教材が得られると考える.

本稿の課題は、「生」と「分業」という二つの概念の統一的把握を通して、G・ジンメルの「近代文化論」がもつ独自な意義を明らかにすることにある。<BR>これまでジンメルの近代文化論については、その中心的概念が「生」であるとし、その概念的、形而上学的性格を批判する見解や、「生」と「分業」との統一的把握のもとに近代文化の問題の核心に迫った意義深い文化論であると積極的評価を下す見解などがあった。本稿は基本的に後者の立場に依拠しており、ここではジンメルの近代文化論がどのような意味で積極的に評価しうるのかを、『貨幣の哲学』の近代文化論の検討を通じて明らかにしたいと考える。すなわちジンメルは、「生」と「分業」という二つの概念を主軸に近代文化がはらむ問題状況を、「主体の文化と客体の文化との齟齬的関係」としてとらえ直すことによって、ネガティヴな現象形態をとりつつ進展する近代文化の在り方のなかに「可能性」として蓄積されているポジティヴ性をみる、という複眼的視座からの近代文化論を展開したのである。本稿では、彼の近代文化論における「生」概念と「分業」概念との関係の在り方を明らかにすることを通して、近代文化をとらえるジンメルの複眼的視座がもつ独自な意義に迫りたい。
